Abstract

Business communication courses play a critical role in preparing business school graduates for the demands of global communication. This study aims to analyze the comparison between the integration of research-based best practices and administrative procedural guidelines in the design of Business Communication course curricula, as well as to evaluate the contribution of integrating intercultural awareness and self-efficacy in meeting international business communication skill requirements from the employer’s perspective. The study was conducted through a systematic review of academic literature using thematic analysis methods. The findings reveal that evidence-based approaches, such as the implementation of Constructive Alignment and student engagement as co-creators, produce more transformative curricula that focus on the development of authentic competencies, compared to administrative approaches that tend to be limited to procedural compliance. Furthermore, the integration of intercultural awareness that fosters transcultural understanding, together with the development of self-efficacy through techniques such as personal mastery, synergistically equips students with a global mindset and confidence that align directly with employers’ expectations of graduates capable of communicating effectively in international business contexts. Consequently, evidence-based and holistic curriculum design is key to bridging the gap between education and professional practice.

Abstract

This article presents a systematic literature review on the effectiveness and implementation challenges of student project models, specifically Project-Based Learning (PBL) and authentic assessment, in preparing graduates for the workforce. This research aims to address two research questions: (1) how the literature describes the effectiveness of these models in developing 21st-century skills and students professional identity; and (2) what systemic challenges exist in their implementation across various disciplines. The study was conducted through the stages of planning, article search and selection, thematic data extraction, narrative synthesis, and report preparation. The findings show that PBL and authentic assessment are highly effective in aligning learning with real-world professional challenges. These models significantly facilitate the development of critical skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and adaptability, while strengthening the formation of professional identity and student work-readiness. However, implementation faces various multidimensional systemic challenges. These include high time management burdens, gaps in educator competence, limited financial and physical resources, tensions in curriculum design, and group dynamics such as free-rider syndrome and low psychological safety. In conclusion, while effective, the optimization of student project models requires a holistic approach that includes continuous support for educators, adequate resource allocation, alignment of curriculum policies, and strengthening mentoring mechanisms to overcome these barriers.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of technology in the process of Human Resource (HR) transformation through the perspective of employee data analytics as a strategic approach to modern HR management. The primary focus of the study is to analyze the impact of the simultaneous integration of digital HR systems and organizational digital transformation on improving the efficiency of HR functions, with organizational agility positioned as a moderating variable that strengthens this relationship. In addition, the study explores the potential optimization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and predictive analytics methods, such as Bayesian Optimization, in predicting workforce dynamics, including employee attrition risk and competency development needs, while also bridging the analytical skills gap among HR practitioners. The research method employed is a systematic literature review of relevant scientific publications from 2021 to 2025, selecting sources that address digital HR transformation, HR analytics, and the application of AI in organizational contexts. The findings indicate that digital HR systems have a strong and significant effect on enhancing operational efficiency and the quality of HR decision-making, and this effect becomes more optimal when supported by a high level of organizational agility. Furthermore, AI and predictive analytics are proven to generate more accurate predictions and simplify technical complexity, making them easier for HR practitioners to adopt. This study concludes that the success of HR transformation requires a holistic approach that aligns the use of advanced technologies with organizational capabilities, human resource readiness, and ethical considerations to create sustainable organizational value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Human Resource (HR) Analytics as a strategic approach to enhancing employee experience in organizational settings. The growing complexity of the business environment and the increasing demand for data-driven decision-making have encouraged organizations to utilize HR Analytics in managing human resources more effectively. This research employs an integrative literature review method to synthesize findings from previous empirical and conceptual studies published between 2014 and 2024. The review process was conducted systematically through article identification, selection, thematic analysis, and synthesis of findings. The results indicate that HR Analytics contributes positively to employee experience by improving employee engagement, performance management, and retention strategies. Furthermore, organizational culture, leadership commitment, and technological readiness are identified as key moderating factors influencing the successful implementation of HR Analytics. This study provides theoretical contributions by strengthening the conceptual relationship between HR Analytics and employee experience, as well as practical implications for organizations seeking to design data-driven human resource management strategies.

Abstract

Pengelolaan stok obat di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan merupakan aspek krusial dalam menjamin keberlangsungan terapi pasien serta efisiensi penggunaan anggaran obat. Penggunaan metode FIFO (First In First Out) dan FEFO (First Expired First Out) merupakan strategi umum dalam manajemen persediaan obat. FIFO menekankan penggunaan stok yang pertama kali masuk, sementara FEFO memprioritaskan penggunaan obat yang memiliki tanggal kedaluwarsa paling dekat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan kedua metode tersebut terhadap efektivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan obat generik tablet dan kapsul di Klinik X Balikpapan dengan studi khusus pada dua jenis obat, yaitu cetirizine dan ranitidine. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik dokumentasi dan analisis data statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas batch berada pada kategori rata-rata dalam hal perputaran stok dan lama masa kedaluwarsa, meskipun ditemukan beberapa batch yang memiliki performa distribusi di bawah rata-rata. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya penguatan sistem monitoring dan digitalisasi manajemen stok guna mendukung penerapan metode FIFO dan FEFO secara optimal.

Abstract

Digitalisasi farmasi rumah sakit merupakan langkah krusial untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan klinis, efisiensi operasional, dan peran apoteker yang berorientasi pada pasien. Kajian artikel ini bertujuan memetakan hambatan dan faktor pendorong implementasi serta interoperabilitas sistem digital seperti CPOE dan EMR, serta menganalisis peran kepemimpinan dan kebijakan institusional dalam strategi integrasi alur kerja digital. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah kajian sistematis dengan pencarian di platform Taylor & Francis Online pada periode 2021–2025, yang menghasilkan 40 artikel paling relevan setelah proses seleksi bertahap. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa sistem digital telah terbukti mendukung fungsi kritis seperti pemantauan terapi obat dan dokumentasi intervensi klinis. Namun, tantangan utama meliputi interoperabilitas yang terbatas, kurangnya kebijakan pendukung, dan ketergantungan berkelanjutan pada proses manual untuk pengumpulan data. Di sisi lain, contoh keberhasilan seperti implementasi "Pharmacy Medication Access Referral order" melalui EMR menunjukkan potensi kolaborasi antaprofesi. Simpulan kajian menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan farmasi dan kebijakan institusional yang menerapkan pendekatan seimbang antara arahan top-down dan inovasi kolaboratif, serta fokus pada standarisasi, otomatisasi data, dan penyediaan infrastruktur, sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai integrasi sistem yang menyeluruh dan mendukung transformasi layanan farmasi yang berpusat pada pasien.

Abstract

Tinjauan literatur ini menganalisis perkembangan penelitian mengenai pemasaran digital farmasi selama satu dekade terakhir (2015-2025) melalui kajian sistematis terhadap 40 artikel terpilih. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa fokus penelitian telah berevolusi secara signifikan dari eksplorasi awal mengenai pemasaran langsung konsumen (DTC) dan isu etika digital, menuju adopsi sistemik teknologi seperti blockchain dan Digital Control Tower untuk ketahanan rantai pasok, serta hingga tata kelola kecerdasan buatan generatif. Sepanjang perjalanan ini, penelitian secara dinamis merespons tantangan yang muncul, termasuk integritas produk, ageism dalam periklanan, dan variasi regulasi, dengan mengembangkan solusi teknis dan rekomendasi kebijakan. Meskipun transformasi digital telah terbukti menciptakan nilai ekonomi korporat yang nyata, kajian ini mengidentifikasi celah kritis, yaitu belum adanya kerangka kerja terpadu yang mengoperasionalkan analitik Marketing 4.0 khusus untuk konteks pemasaran bisnis-ke-bisnis (B2B) di sektor farmasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ke depan perlu memprioritaskan pengembangan roadmap strategis yang menjembatani data operasional dengan pengambilan keputusan pemasaran yang prediktif, sekaligus memperkuat kapabilitas organisasi untuk memastikan keberlanjutan inovasi digital.

Abstract

Manajemen mutu farmasi berfokus pada pencegahan masalah dan pemeliharaan kualitas yang konsisten selama proses desain dan kreasi, menjadikannya krusial bagi reputasi dan profitabilitas sektor manufaktur, dengan praktik Total Quality Management (TQM) yang sering diterapkan di industri ini. Bukti implementasi manajemen mutu dalam layanan kesehatan mencakup Sistem Manajemen Mutu Laboratorium (LQMS) untuk menjamin keakuratan hasil pengujian, dan model '6S' yang terbukti secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan kualitas instrumen bedah di pusat sterilisasi dan suplai (CSSD). Perkembangan saat ini mengarah pada Quality 5.0, yang memperluas kepuasan pelanggan menjadi kepuasan masyarakat (societal satisfaction), mengintegrasikan aspek keberlanjutan ekonomi, lingkungan, dan sosial. Evolusi ini sejalan dengan adopsi teknologi Quality 4.0, di mana industri farmasi dinilai paling siap di Argentina dalam mengadopsi digitalisasi berbasis data seperti Big Data Analytics dan IoT untuk pengendalian kualitas real-time. Meskipun fondasi praktik sudah kokoh, penelitian mengidentifikasi dua kesenjangan utama: pertama, kesulitan dalam menerjemahkan konsep makro Kepuasan Masyarakat menjadi praktik operasional dan metrik terukur; dan kedua, hambatan implementasi Quality 4.0 yang berakar pada tantangan perilaku organisasi (misalnya, Kepemimpinan yang lemah dan resistensi terhadap perubahan) dan tata kelola TI (Keamanan siber). Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kebutuhan mendesak untuk mengatasi tantangan struktural ini dan mengembangkan model kerangka kerja yang didorong oleh tujuan yang lebih tinggi (higher purpose) dan menerapkan perspektif sistem untuk mencapai integrasi penuh Quality 5.0 di seluruh siklus hidup nilai farmasi.

Abstract

Workplace Communication Skills (WCS) are proven to be a critical foundation for a company's competitive advantage in the context of a dynamic global market. This study successfully conceptualizes a map of WCS that integrates fundamental social competencies—from verbal, non-verbal, written, and electronic communication to interpersonal skills, negotiation, presentation, and digital rhetoric—with the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Through a systematic analysis of 44 selected articles from the DOAJ, this study identifies the causal mechanisms through which WCS mastery shapes corporate excellence via three main pathways: enhancing operational efficiency through effective team collaboration, strengthening market orientation through the ability to present value, and preventing organizational issues such as psychological workplace violence. The findings confirm that the integration of digital technology in WCS development not only facilitates innovative training and assessment methods but also directly supports the creation of a workforce that is competent both technically and socially. Therefore, strategic investment in WCS is a prerequisite for building superior human capital capable of delivering sustainable profits and long-term competitive strength for organizations.

Abstract

Komunikasi bisnis yang efektif merupakan fondasi kritis bagi kinerja dan keberlanjutan organisasi, terutama dalam konteks transformasi digital dan lingkungan kerja global yang dinamis. Kajian literatur naratif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak transisi ke media komunikasi digital terhadap kualitas pesan dan produktivitas, serta mengeksplorasi peran manajerial dalam mengelola jaringan komunikasi dan tantangan kompleks seperti kompetensi lintas budaya dan penyampaian pesan negatif. Berdasarkan tinjauan sistematis terhadap literatur terkini, hasil kajian mengungkapkan bahwa meskipun media digital seperti email dan platform chat meningkatkan efisiensi, mereka juga berpotensi mengikis kualitas pesan, termasuk akurasi, keringkasan, dan nada profesional, yang justru dapat mempengaruhi hubungan kerja dan hasil finansial. Di sisi lain, peran manajer dalam membina dialog dan mengakui jaringan informal terbukti penting untuk membangun komitmen dan motivasi karyawan. Tantangan komunikasi lintas budaya dan pesan negatif memerlukan pendekatan strategis melalui kompetensi budaya dan komunikasi asertif. Simpulan kajian menegaskan bahwa keunggulan kompetitif organisasi di era digital sangat bergantung pada investasi dalam pelatihan komunikasi yang terstruktur bagi karyawan dan manajer, guna mengoptimalkan alat digital dan menguasai dinamika komunikasi bisnis yang kompleks.
