Abstract

Implementasi model pembelajaran yang tepat diharapkan dapat meningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Blended Problem Based Learning adalah model pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran tatap muka dan daring dengan kegiatan pemecahan masalah secara kolaboratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Blended Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan desain "quasy experiment" dengan pretest posttest control group a design. Penelitian ini melibatkan mahasiswa semester 4 kelas A (32 mahasiswa) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas B (33 mahasiswa) sebagai kelas kontrol pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023 di Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Makassar. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrument tes. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan independent samples tes kemampuan berfikir kritis menggunakan SPSS 23 for Windows melalui uji-t diperoleh hasil 0,030 < 0,05. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan model pembelajaran Blended Problem Based Learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Blended Problem Based Learning efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Geografi

Abstract

Mitra dari Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah santriwan dan santriwati di TK/TPA Masjid Nurul Insyafi Talakalabbua Kabupaten Takalar. Tidak dipungkiri bahwa masih ada di tengah-tengah masyarakat yang tidak bisa membaca Al-Quran diberbagai usia termasuk ketegori didalamnya dewasa, orang tua dan anak-anak. Permasalahan ini timbul karena minimnya minat membaca Al Quran sejak dini dan minimnya inovasi pengajar dalam mebelajarkan santri baca tulis Al Quran. Pengabdian ini diharapakan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis Al-Quran santri TK/TPA Masjid Nurul Insyafi Talakalabbua. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diharapkan mampu: 1) Meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis Al-Quran santri TK/TPA Masjid Nurul Insyafi Talakalabbua, 2) Tersedianya media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis Al-Quran santri TK/TPA Masjid Nurul Insyafi Talakalabbua.. Lokasi penelitian di TK/TPA Masjid Nurul Insyafi Talakalabbua. Subjek penelitian yaitu santri TK/TPA Masjid Nurul Insyafi Talakalabbua, dengan jumlah santri 21 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, kerja kelompok dan mitra pendamping. Hasil yang dicapai adalah 1) Peningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis Al-Quran santri TK/TPA Masjid Nurul Insyafi Talakalabbua, 2) Media kartu huruf dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis Al-Quran santri TK/TPA Masjid Nurul Insyafi.

Abstract

Sekolah merupakan salah satu tempat yang sangat berperan dalam menerapkan pendidikan karakter. Anak-anak yang sekolah sebagian besar menghabiskan waktunya di sekolah, sehingga apa yang didapatkan disekolah akan mempengaruhi karakternya. Banyak kegiatan yang bisa dikembangkan dalam rangka penerapan pendidikan karakter. Kegiatan PKM ini akan memadukan metode ceramah, diskusi dan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan di di SMA Negeri 9 Polut Kabupaten Takalar. Hasil peneleitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang menjadi kendala pembudayaan sikap peduli lingkungan meliputi faktor lingkungan dan faktor hubungan anak dengan masyarakat. Untuk membiasakan anak selalu peduli terhadap lingkungan perlu pendidikan karakter ini dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat. Dengan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan ini anak mempunyai bekal pengetahuan tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan agar anak menjadi manusia yang sehat jasmani dan rohani.

Abstract

Abstrak. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi siswa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Kota Makassar terkait hutan mangrove sebagai solusi berbasis alam dalam mitigasi perubahan iklim guna meningkatkan wawasan dan akhlak/perilaku siswa yang merupakan salah satu amanat/implementasi dari kurikulum merdeka. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan melakukan penyuluhan dengan menggunkan metode ceramah. Kegiatan yang dilakukan selama sehari dan bertempat di MAN 1 Kota Makassar, diawali dengan melakukan persiapan bahan dan peralatan, pre-test, presentasi materi, tanya jawab dan dilanjutkan dengan post-test terhadap materi yang telah diberikan. Hasil dicapai dalam kegiatan menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mitra (peserta didik) MAN 1 Kota Makassar terkait dengan materi penyuluhan yang disajikan oleh tim pelaksana dari UNM. Selain itu, luaran yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini yakni: (1) Publikasi berita di media online (sudah terbit dan bisa diakses); (2) Publikasi video kegiatan di youtube (sudah terbit dan bisa diakses); dan (3) Publikasi artikel ilmiah pada jurnal Nasional ber-ISSN (sudah terbit dan bisa diakses). Kata Kunci: Mangrove, perubahan iklim, mitigasi bencana, madrasah aliyah

Abstract

Learning resources are an important component and have a very important role in improving the quality of learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities and learning outcomes of students in resource geography courses by utilizing the tongke-tongke mangrove forest area as a learning resource. This research uses qualitative research methods. The source of data is the resource person (informant). There are three stages of data collection techniques, namely literature study, observation, and interviews. The technical analysis is done through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that the utilization of tongke-tongke mangrove forest area as a learning resource can optimize student learning activities and outcomes. Utilization of tongke-tongke mangrove forest area as a learning resource can be a solution as a deepening of material and can stimulate student learning motivation in learning activities.

Abstract

One of the main challenges in learning cultural geography is to develop a deep understanding of cultural diversity and creative ability in analyzing and describing the relationship between humans and their environment. This study investigates the effect of the field trip-based project-based learning (PjBL) learning model on students’ creative thinking ability and cultural literacy in a Cultural Geography course. The research design used is a comparative experimental design in three different groups. The subjects in this study were students majoring in Geography at Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM) in the 3rd (odd) semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample was selected purposively (purpose sampling) based on the same academic ability characteristics of the population. The collected data will be analyzed using the ANACOVA test statistical method. The results showed that the 2-tailed significance level (Sig.) was 0.000, far below the generally accepted alpha level (α=0.05) which indicated a significant difference in the use of the PjBL model, the PjBL-field trip (PjBL-FT) model, and the conventional learning model in improving creativity and cultural literacy skills. The considerable difference in the mean post-test scores underscores the effectiveness of field trip-based project-based learning (PjBL-FT) in improving creative skills. The results imply that this model can be used to create innovative learning so that it can make a good contribution to learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of the assuro maca tradition of the Labakkang sub-district community, Pangkep district. The process in this case includes the history of the beginning of the assuro maca tradition, the development of the Assuro maca tradition and the continuation of the Assuro maca tradition. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection methods are through interviews, participatory observation and documentation in obtaining primary data to be used as research results which are supported by secondary data sourced from studies of scientific literature. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the beginning of the assuro maca tradition began when Islam entered the archipelago. The development of the assuro maca tradition, in the past, its implementation was carried out in a large house which was usually called Arajang, but as time progressed, people now had private homes that were capable of doing so, so the implementation of the assuro maca tradition was carried out in their own homes. The potential for the assuro maca tradition is very large due to the values of brotherhood and togetherness inherent in this tradition.

Abstract

Enhancing the quality of education can be achieved by incorporating This study aims to be able to find out the potential contained in galesong beach beach tourism objects and the strategy of developing galesong beach attractions in Tamalate Village, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency. This type of research is mixed methods research, meaning research that can produce descriptive and statistical data both in written and oral form. The subjects of the study, the owners and managers of galesong beach tourism, the local community and the visitors. The data analysis involves SWOT analysis, which is used to assess both the internal strengths and weaknesses and the external opportunities and threats related to the development of Galesong Beach as a tourist destination. Data analysis techniques use SWOT analysis. The results indicate that Galesong Beach has a ‘worth visiting’ rating, with an evaluation score of 76.25%. This high score is attributed to the supporting elements of the destination, such as adequate accommodation, accessibility, facilities, and infrastructure, all of which enhance its attractiveness to tourists. The SWOT analysis places the Galesong Beach development strategy in Quadrant I, suggesting a Rapid Growth Strategy. This positioning indicates that Galesong Beach should focus on strategies to accelerate visitor growth, leveraging its strengths to capitalize on opportunities for rapid expansion. That is, Galesong Beach attractions are in a strategy to increase the growth rate of tourist visitors by using faster time.

Abstract

Floods are natural disasters that should be highly considered due to their threats to human lives and the economy. It is also the third largest natural disaster in the world, which has claimed many lives and properties. Therefore, this study aims to identify community knowledge about floods and determine the efforts to increase preparedness strategies. A qualitative study was conducted in the village of Sapanan, Binamu District, Jeneponto Regency, Indonesia. Subsequently, data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation with various selected informants. Based on the results, the following were obtained, 1) The level of knowledge and actions performed by the Sapanan people was quite good regarding flooding. This was due to the experience of the community with the disaster, which they had decided to use as a learning platform, 2) The impacts often caused after flooding were the outbreaks of many diseases, which hindered the community from performing their usual activities. This was because they were busy cleaning their homes, with children consequently unable to attend school regarding the muddy state of the chairs and environment, and 3) The community's efforts to increase preparedness for the disasters included land use monitoring and prone location planning in safe areas. In this case, the level of knowledge and actions performed by the people of Sapanan village was quite good concerning flooding. This was because of their numerous experience with the disaster, which they had decided to use as a learning platform. Abstract

Technology plays an important role to facilitate digital learning including to enhance students’ disaster preparedness. Therefore, teachers must be creative particularly for their course design. This study aims to develop smart teaching using e-modules with the FlipCreator Pro platform. We used Research and Development (R&D) with ADDIE model to develop e-modules involving experts and teachers to determine the validation of product. In additon, we measured students’ response towards quality of e-modules. Results show that developed e-moduls was adequate to validities, therefore it can be used to collected further data. The module's user-friendly design and practicality make it accessible and beneficial for students, promising improved comprehension and learning outcomes. Future research suggestions include expanding content, adapting for various grades, integrating AI, and conducting wider trials for generalizability. Examining the impact on student learning and teacher involvement is recommended for further exploration.
