Abstract

ENGLISH: The Influence of Teacher Competence, Strategies, and Technology Use on the Effectiveness of Learning in Islamic EducationObjective: This study aims to examine the influence of teacher competence, teaching strategies, and technology use on the effectiveness of Islamic education at SMPN 4 Bukittinggi. Method: This study employed a correlational research design. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: The results showed that teacher competence, teaching strategies, and technology use collectively accounted for 58.6% of the variance in Islamic education effectiveness, while the remaining 41.4% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Conclusion: The findings reveal that teacher competence, teaching strategies, and the use of technology play a significant role in enhancing the effectiveness of Islamic education. Contribution: This study provides an empirical examination of the factors affecting the effectiveness of Islamic education, including teacher competence, learning strategies, and the use of technology. INDONESIAN: Pengaruh Kompetensi Guru, Strategi Pembelajaran, dan Penggunaan Teknologi terhadap Efektivitas Pembelajaran Pendidikan IslamTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menggali lebih dalam mengenai pengaruh antara kompetensi guru, strategi pembelajaran, dan penggunaan teknologi terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran pendidikan Islam di SMPN 4 Bukittinggi. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan metode korelasional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil: Uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen (pengaruh kompetensi guru, strategi pembelajaran, dan penggunaan teknologi) secara bersama-sama berpengaruh dengan signifikansi 58,6%, sedangkan 41,4% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Kesimpulan: Temuan penelitian mengungkap bahwa kompetensi guru, strategi pembelajaran, dan penggunaan teknologi memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran pendidikan islam. Kontibusi: Penelitian ini berkontribusi sebagai kajian empiris mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran pendidikan islam meliputi kompetensi guru, strategi pembelajaran, dan penggunaan teknologi.

Abstract

This article discusses the evolution of the Islamic education curriculum from classical to modern, and changes in the curriculum in the context of teaching and conveying knowledge in Islamic education. In the classical style, the educational curriculum focuses on the Koran, hadith, fiqh, and other religious sciences, which are taught in madrasas and mosques. Islamic education is the natural center of religious education. During the growth of Islamic civilization, the curriculum was driven by rational sciences, for example, mathematics, astronomy, medicine, philosophy. It is becoming more holistic and diversified. In the colonial period, Islamic education collided with secular education, which was centered on Western science. Nowadays, after independence, the reform education curriculum combines religious and general knowledge, educating modern humans. Globalized, the Islamic education curriculum seeks to overcome apologetics and the domination of other sciences to produce productive Muslims who apply science to the divine. This article discusses the opportunities and challenges of today's curriculum in the digital era, and the role of education in empowering strong and intelligent people.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with experimental type and quasi-experimental research design in the form of nonequivalent control group design. Sampling using the Nonprobability Sampling technique with purposive sampling type, the research sample amounted to 42 people, with a population of 131 people. The instrument is an objective test in the form of multiple choice. Data analysis with descriptive statistics, then the analysis requirements test consists of normality test and homogeneity test. And for hypothesis testing using t-test (t-test). Based on the initial test or pretest conducted in the experimental class, an average of 55.5 was obtained. While in the control class, obtained an average of 63.18. After being given a pretest to both classes, then the make a match learning model was carried out in the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. After that, both classes were given a final test or posttest, the experimental class obtained an average of 86.25 with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 65, while the control class obtained an average of 82.5 with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 50. Furthermore, The analysis prerequisite test was carried out, namely the normality and homogeneity test of posttest scores with the results of the data being normal and homogeneous. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the application of the make a match learning model on the learning outcomes of class X students in PAI subjects at SMAN 1 Sungai Puar

Abstract

This research is based on the premise that education was not limited to men alone during the time of Rasulullah SAW; women were also prioritized in education and literacy. Referring to relevant hadiths, this article examines the literacy and education of women in the era of Rasulullah SAW. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of women in knowledge during the early Islamic period and how these teachings influence our perspectives on women’s education today. This study employs a qualitative approach through literature and hadith analysis. The findings reveal that Islam provides a strong foundation for women's education from the very beginning. The results of this research also reinforce Islam's contribution in elevating the status of women and providing opportunities for them to enhance their capacities in education.

Abstract

This research was motivated by events that occurred in the field that researchers saw in SMP 02 Ranah Batahan while studying PAI there were some who had difficulty understanding the material presented by the teacher during PAI learning in the new normal era. When the teacher gives long material, students have difficulty reading the material, besides that, students also have difficulty sending videos that are long. And besides that, students also have difficulty expressing opinions because the opinions issued by students are often immersed and unreadable by the teacher. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, which describes the events that occur in the field as they are. Data collection that the author did by observation, and interviews. Research informants consist of key informants and supporting informants. Key informants were students of SMP 02 Ranah Batahan while supporting informants were teachers and parents. Data were analyzed by data collection techniques, data analysis techniques, and data triangulation. The results of this study regarding PAI learning difficulties in the new normal era in class VIII SMP 02 Ranah Batahan, Ranah Batahan District, namely students who do not have adequate communication tools, students have network difficulties, and students have limited quotas. So the solution that teachers do in overcoming learning difficulties in this new normal era is by creating interesting learning strategies, teachers convey learning materials creatively, reducing learning materials and teachers facilitating parents to ask the teacher directly what if students don’t understand.  Keywords: Learning Difficulties, Islamic Religious Education, New Normal Era

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of increasingly sophisticated technology in the era of globalization, so educators are also required to have IT skills that can support learning and make teaching materials that are more creative and innovative. However, at SMP N 2 Suliki, the learning of Islamic Religious Education still does not take advantage of the sophistication of the available technology. This research is a development research which consists of three stages, namely: the definition stage, the design stage and the develop stage. The research instrument used a validation sheet and a questionnaire. The module was validated by three validators, namely one media lecturer, one Islamic religious education lecturer, and one Islamic religious education teacher. At the practicality stage and the effectiveness of the e-module as a source of learning to practice prayer, it was tested on 26 seventh grade students of SMP N 2 Suliki. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded as follows: (1) The results of the validation of the e-module as a learning resource for prayer practice materials developed for class VII SMP N 2 Suliki are valid with a percentage of 85.3%. (2) The results of the trial on the practicality of the e-module as a learning resource for prayer practice materials that were developed showed the results of the teacher's practicality of 90.2% and the practicality of students of 85.4% with a very practical category that can be used in the learning process. (3) The results of the effectiveness trial on student learning outcomes with a correlation of 84% with the category of being very effective and giving a strong influence in the learning process. Abstract

This research was motivated by events that occurred in the field that researchers saw in SMK 1 Negeri Lembah Melintang while studying PAI. The author found difficulties in the performance of PAI teachers in planning, implementing, evaluating. PAI teacher performance during this pandemic in carrying out the main task of teaching (teaching), namely: the learning process during this pandemic the teacher experienced a process of difficulty in carrying out learning such as but there was no limited time then the system number of sessions was also limited, so usually the teacher explained the learning material or in that learning in one session it is full so that there is no repetition of the learning material that has been discussed earlier and the problem is this week's group 1 and tomorrow's group 2 so that the teacher repeats the material and that time is increasing in time where one learning material can so 4 or 5 meetings, so that the material is not achieved in accordance with the lesson plan. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, which describes the events that occur in the field as they are. Data were analyzed by data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques. The results of this study are about the performance of PAI teachers in the aspect of learning planning during the pandemic. Is an activity related to efforts to formulate a program which includes everything that will be carried out, determination of goals, policies, directions to be taken, procedures and methods to be followed in an effort to achieve goals. And PAI teacher performance in the aspect of implementing learning during the pandemic. Learning implementation is the implementation of the learning implementation plan (RPP) that has been prepared by the teacher. The implementation of classroom learning activities is the core of the implementation of education which is marked by the existence of learning activities, as well as the performance of PAI teachers in the aspect of evaluating learning during a pandemic. Activities or methods shown to determine whether or not the learning objectives have been achieved and the learning process that has been carried out. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of parents about the importance of higher education for their children in Hamlet V, Batang Tumu Village. And the use of this research is to provide scientific input and knowledge to parents or the public about the importance of higher education. and wasting time, fear of parents if their children stop going to college in the middle of the road due to lack of funds, many children who finished high school/equivalent who are unemployed. This type of research is a field research with a qualitative approach, namely describing a phenomenon that occurs according to the data in the field. Through observation, interviews, as well as describing and analyzing phenomena, events, social activities, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts of people individually, or in groups. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the perceptions of parents vary. There are those who think that higher education is good and a way to achieve their children's goals, there are parents who don't want to enter higher education because they are constrained by costs and are afraid to stop midway. There are also parents of the opinion and view that higher education or college is less important because there is no need to go to college which ends also looking for work and it is better to finish high school and go straight to work. Furthermore, parents consider it less important because their children are focused on studying religious knowledge, and religious knowledge can be obtained from Islamic boarding schools without having to continue to higher education or college. Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the author's observations about students who indicated that they had received parental guidance but had low learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative correlation approach. Collecting data in this study the authors obtained through questionnaires and documentation. This study used 294 students as the population and as many as 44 students as samples taken from 15 people at each level of class VIII, IX and 14 people in class VII. The data analysis technique that the author uses is a prerequisite analysis test in the form of a data normality test and a linearity test. Then the final data analysis the author uses is correlation analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be understood that the significance level between the parental guidance variable (X) and student learning outcomes (Y) students is tcount = 7.52 with rcount = 0.610, then the hypothesis is accepted which states that there is a significant positive relationship between parental guidance and student learning outcomes (cognitive) on PAI subjects, it means H0 is rejected. This is due to = 0.610 which is in the coefficient interval 0.60-0.799 so that the level of correlation between the two variables is included in the strong category. Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is the formulation of the problem, namely what motivates parents to continue their children's education at the madinatul munawwarah Islamic boarding school, what are the factors that encourage parents to continue their child's education at the madinatul munawwarah Islamic boarding school and what obstacles are faced by parents in continue their child's education. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining what motivates parents in Jorong Sigiran to continue their children's education at the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School. This type of research is descriptive qualitative that is describing what it is about a situation. In this study, the authors describe the motivation of parents in Jorong Sigiran Nagari Malalak Utara to continue their children's education at the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School. The data collection instruments used were observation, and interviews. Sources of required data obtained from informants, namely parents. The results of the study found that the motivation of parents in Jorong Sigiran Nagari North Malalak to continue their children's education at the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic boarding school is so that children know more about religious knowledge, to become pious and pious children, to form noble character in children, to avoid environmental influences that not good, improve life. Efforts made by parents in continuing their children's education to the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School are motivating children, giving advice, giving punishment, educating, and giving examples.
