Abstract

The direction of arts education in learning and learning activities produces outcomes of sense of taste, creativity, aesthetic growth, and cultivation in the arts, as well as behavior (etiquette), social sense, and conscious culture in everyday life. This research places the view of arts education on artistic research and its appropriation, and the purpose of the research is to compare the views of the research domain in arts education and artistic research. In order to reveal the subject's views, this research uses a qualitative method with this type of literature study. The data disclosure is based on literature data, notes on research materials, and unstructured interviews with research methodologists. The systematics to reveal the data are realized through the analysis process, starting with the data condensation, data depiction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result obtained is that the view of arts education towards artistic research can be used as needed. This means that the denotation of education is broken down in artistic research, which has an emphasis on the arts. Artistic research is one of the scientific methods that academics and arts practitioners can use to prove that the creation of works of art is one of the results of scientific thinking that can have an impact on the knowledge and skills of students in arts education.

Abstract

Modern era directs the younger generation of Dayak people in West Kalimantan towards cultural identity, especially gongs and mantras in meaning and function.. The purpose of this research is to identify the role of gongs and mantras as symbols of cultural communication. Through a qualitative method with the type of Roland Barthes semiotics, it is a way to reveal research on the role of gongs and mantras which is also accompanied by Susanne Knauth Langer's communication symbol theory. The gong as an accompaniment to the wood products and the mantra as a request imply a communication message between humans and God in the Nyobeng ritual of the Dayak Bidayuh community. The communication message implies the good side for the welfare of the Dayak community.

Abstract

In this sense, communities' actions and conduct play a crucial role in the preservation and transmission of sape. Dayak civilization still aspires to maintain its integrity in the face of global change, which is the problem in this essay. This writing's goal is to explore this possibility through phenomenological studies and data analysis from Van Kaam, using him as a case study. These findings may be seen in the phenomena of glocalization and glocality within sape. As a result, the Dayak community itself plays a role in the conservation efforts mentioned in the civic culture, having the ability to infuse its efforts with innovation, creativity, change, and renewal. Of course, civilization has been working towards this, but in the current digital era, technology allows for its construction and advancement.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the Advanced Basic Piano learning model with a Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) approach as a solution to problems in developing learning models and optimizing students' piano playing skills in the Performing Arts Education Study Program, FKIP, Tanjungpura University (Untan). Against the background of the need for understanding the impact of CBL learning models on learning outcomes, especially in piano practice, this study focuses on the initial overview of previous learning models, CBL implementation processes, and analysis of learning outcomes. Method: Using qualitative methods with case studies, data were collected through observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and inference, with data validity checked through assignment values, UTS, UAS, and source triangulation. Result and Discussion: The results showed that the CBL learning model had a positive effect on piano learning outcomes, measured by 21 students achieving final grades in the good category. In conclusion, the CBL learning model can optimally improve students' piano learning outcomes, and recommendations are given to piano educators and tutors to adopt this model in lecture practice.

Abstract

Creativity can produce a product. The product of creating or making interactive video-based thematic children's songs answers the challenges and civilization regarding learning innovation in Indonesia, especially in the 21st century, which in this case is the research objective. In addition to answering the challenges of interactive videos made can also be a solution to the sense of disinterest of elementary school students in learning materials, especially music. The resulting song is intended for elementary school students in phase A (in the independent curriculum) or in grades 1-3. The method to uncover this research used a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data analysis uses data collection from primary sources such as full scores of thematic children's songs, interactive videos, inhibition during PGSD music education learning, and interviews with students. Furthermore, the data collected is reduced according to the topic of the article, presented, and sought for red threads or conclusions. Validated results that the process and results of creativity in making thematic children's songs based on interactive videos can be used as an innovation in music learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Linearitas lulusan dari guru dalam bidang pengajaran menjadi pijakan utama karena terkait atas kompetensi pendidik yang dimiliki. Hal tersebut menjadi latar belakang dalam penelitian ini apabila didapati profil lulusan guru yang tidak sejalan dengan kompetensi pendidik. Tujuan daripada penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru non pendidikan musik dalam penyampaian materi pembelajaran seni musik di SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber serta dilakukan pula perpanjangan pengamatan agar data yang dianalisis bersifat sahih. Analisis data menggunakan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi/ penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat ketidaksesuaian bidang ajar guru dengan latar belakang pendidikan yang mempengaruhi kompetensi professional dan pedagogik pada penyampaian materi pembelajaran seni musik. Implikasi dari ketidaksesuaian tersebut berakibat pada kualitas soal yang diberikan pada penilaian tengah semester. Secara keseluruhan, pentingnya penelitian ini bahwa linearitas profil guru dalam mengajar menjadi kunci utama akan keterpahaman pemberian materi walaupun masing-masing lulusan guru (pendidikan) memiliki kompetensi pedagogik.

Abstract

Menemukenali dan memahami sebuah lagu tentunya dieperlukan langkah analisis. Tulisan dan penelitian ini mencoba menelaah bentuk lagu Tolak Balak dalam pertunjukan tari Turonggo Yakso pada grup seni jaranan Turonggo Madya Mukti Budaya. Selain itu, ciri khas dan identitas budaya dalam lagu tradisional khususnya di Trenggalek juga perlu dilestarikan dan dikenalkan secara luas, sehingga dengan analisis ini dapat dijadikan penguat akan identitas dan ciri khas tersebut. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengungkap penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis musik dalam kajian Prier. Pengambilan data digunakan data primer yaitu peneliti dengan score transcription dan data sekunder dengan wawancara analisis lagu Tolak Balak. Tahapan penelitian dibagi menjadi pra lapangan, lapangan, dan pasca lapangan yang didalamnya juga dilakukan proses analisis data. Proses analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Guna menunjang kesahihan hasil penelitian digunakan triangulasi sumber. Adapun hasil analisis bentuk lagu Tolak Balak ini dijelaskan dalam ranah pakem bentuk musik iringan tari Turonggo Yakso yang mana tersuun atas bagian pambuka dan bagian tengah. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan bentuk musiknya, lagu Tolak Balak dianalisis secara tekstual dengan mengkaji struktur lagu yang terdiri atas bagian pambuka, bagian lagu, dan bagian panutup. Secara mendalam, poin-poin analisis mengkonstruksi pada melodi, ritmis, dan harmoni yang mana hal tersebut ditunjukan pada pengolahan motif melodi, perubahan ritmis (wirama), dan nuansa harmoni yang memiliki sifat interlocking (berkelanjutan dan konsisten).

Abstract

Musik liturgi inkulturatif Dayak Kalimantan Barat dalam Buku Madah Bakti menjadi hal yang mendasar yaitu menjadi identitas dan bentuk representasi atas pengembangan berliturgi di Gereja Katolik. Selain itu, bentuk representasi menjadi penanda bahwa inkulturatif tersebut dapat dijustifikasi dan dikatakan mutlak sesuai daerahnya sehingga hal tersebut yang menjadi tuiuan penelitian ini. Metode penelitian menyuguhkan cara kualitatif dengan desain studi pustaka dan pendekatan literasi lokakarya Pusat Musik Liturgi. Teknik pengumpulan data diadaptasi dari observasi lokakarya buku Madah Bakti dan dokumentasi penulusuran lokakarya daerah Indonesia oleh PML. Analisis data menggunakan sistem flow dari Miles dengan mengedepankan tahapan pengelompokan data, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan membercheck kepada pihak tim PML untuk kemudian disetujui bersama sebagai data penelitian yang sahih. Hasilnya bahwa didasari akan konstruksi perjalanan musik liturgi Indonesia, perjalanan lokakarya yang membuahkan buku Madah Bakti, representasi musik liturgi inkulturatif dalam Madah Bakti 2000 TPE Baru dan Edisi Pokok Tambahan Nyanyian Regio Kalimantan, dan representasi musik liturgi inkulturatif Dayak Kalimantan Barat dalam buku Madah Bakti.

Abstract

The development in the era of society 5.0 presents various applications of piano learning media based on digitalization and technology. Midiculous software is a software that can be used as an alternative and solution for piano tutors, teachers, and educators who find it difficult to create a piano learning system in online classes. Problem solving is revealed by descriptive qualitative with the process of data collection based on observation. Followed by the stages of preparing a lattice of interview instruments for the speakers (tutors, teachers, and educators) to be triangulated by experts and analyzed with the stages of collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. As a result, midiculous software can be used and utilized by piano tutors, teachers, and educators in terms of understandability and usefulness as an online piano learning media. The students of each piano tutor, teacher, and educator are also clearer in receiving piano materials. However, there is a need for strong connectivity between the used devices, such as OBS and Zoom so that piano learning can also be optimized.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar dan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila menjadi fenomena menarik di dunia pendidikan. Strategi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang diteliti adalah untuk mengeksplorasi upaya penguatan luaran prinsip P lima yang diantaranya adalah kontekstual, berpusat pada peserta didik, dan eksploratif. Hal ini berdasarkan permasalahan yang dialami oleh berbagai instansi pendidikan yang mana adaptasi kurikulum merdeka dan implementasi P lima masih kurang begitu jelas dan mengalami stagnasi dalam perjalanannya. Melalui metode penelitian studi literasi ditambah dengan hasil penerapan strategi introduktif secara kualitatif deskriptif di SMA N delapan Pontianak dapat dihasilkan data penelitian dari sumber primer yaitu guru dan sekunder yaitu artikel dengan analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan yaitu: menyeleksi data;  menuliskan data dan membuat benang merah dan kesahihan data. Adapun kajian mengenai strategi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dalam Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar dan implementasi P lima adalah guru dan peserta didik dapat mengkaitkan, memahami, bahkan melaksanakan strategi pembelajaran dengan teknik introduktif sebagai penguatan prinsip P lima kontekstual, berpusat pada peserta didik, dan eksploratif.
