Abstract

This study explores the concept of community education, emphasizing the role of tutors in facilitating effective learning experiences for adults. Community education empowers individuals by enhancing their knowledge, skills, and awareness of societal issues. Tutors play a crucial role in this process, employing various teaching strategies to engage learners and cater to their needs. However, challenges exist, including tutor qualifications, teaching consistency, and adult learning management. The study introduces the concept of Andragogy, which focuses on empowering adults in their learning journey, considering their real-life circumstances and learning preferences. Andragogy highlights the importance of interactive teaching methods, enjoyable programs, and personalized approaches. The research develops an interactive multimedia Andragogy (MIA) module using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model. This module aims to enhance community education tutors' teaching capabilities for adult learners. Survey data analysis reveals that the MIA Module significantly improves participants' media literacy comprehension and information access skills. The module's learner-centered approach and interactive design align with educational theories like experiential learning and constructivism, promoting active engagement and critical thinking. Moreover, the module's adaptability and flexible learning strategies resonate with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, ensuring inclusivity. The study highlights the positive impact of the MIA Module on enhancing media literacy and information access skills within the context of community education. The module's design, adaptability, and interactive elements make it relevant and effective in contemporary education.

Abstract

Current technological advances challenge educational institutions to create innovative learning. Therefore, one way to create innovative learning can be done by developing technology-based learning media models. This research aims to develop innovative learning in higher education using virtual reality-based instructional media through enriched virtual classroom in microteaching courses. The Integrative Learning Design Framework (ILDF) development model is used in this study. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to media and material experts from educational technology study program  to conduct product trials and in-depth interviews with five students and a microteaching lecture at Universitas Negeri Jakarta.  The result shows that the virtual reality model can be the ease and achievement of microteaching learning objectives. This research has implications for microteaching learning models for pre-service teachers so that they can provide teaching experience with minimal risk and encourage learning innovation through educational technology.

Abstract

Desa Cisaat memiliki panorama alam yang asri dan indah. Desa tersebut memiliki beragam potensi wisata yang menjadinya desa wisata. Wisata edukasi yang disediakan oleh Desa Cisaat merupakan salah satu sektor penggerak ekonomi masyarakat disana. Namun, desa wisata di Cisaat, Subang, Jawa Barat ini masih tergolong baru dari segi pengelolaan dan manajemen. Sehingga, terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang ditemukan seperti strategi promosi dan pemasaran potensi wisata yang ada. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan sebagai langkah meminimalisir permasalahan yang ada. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah pemanfaatan informasi potensi wisata berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) untuk Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis). Metode kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan menggunakan environmental scanning, sharing session, dan pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini mendorong masyarakat untuk ikut mengenali potensi wisata yang ada di Desa Cisaat. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi menjadi alternatif bagi Pokdarwis agar sebagai alat promosi desa wisata. Disamping itu, manajemen professional dan inovatif juga diperlukan agar desa wisata Cisaat dapat terus berkembang dalam mendorong sektor pariwisata di Jawa Barat

Abstract

This study aims to develop a corruption prevention model by optimizing the function of education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a systematic literature review methodology. The object of this research is anti-corruption behavior, with data sources from journals, textbooks, and e-books. The development of an anti-corruption education management model based on prophetic leadership behavior was carried out based on a comprehensive and transparent search through several databases and literature that were replicated and reproduced by previous researchers. The development of this model is carried out based on the aspects of transparency, clarity, integration, focus, equity, accessibility, and coverage according to research principles. The anti-corruption education management model based on prophetic leadership behavior focuses on developing anti-corruption behavior through exemplary prophetic leadership behavior in organizations. The application of this model uses 5 (five) methods with 8 (eight) stages which are carried out continuously and integrated with the management of the organization's human resources. This study also develops an anti-corruption personality assessment model based on prophetic leadership which is the development of the anti-corruption personality assessment model of the Corruption Eradication Commission, then modified with the values of prophetic leadership behavior. The anti-corruption education management model based on prophetic leadership behavior has a novelty value, namely as a systematic, comprehensive, effective, efficient, and sustainable corruption prevention innovation. This model can be used as a reference for legislator (DPR and DPRD) in carrying out preventive oversight functions on the use of state finances by the governments.    AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah model pencegahan tindak pidana korupsi melalui optimalisasi fungsi pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metodologi tinjauan literatur sistematik. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah perilaku antikorupsi, dengan sumber data dari jurnal, buku teks, dan buku elektronik yang relevan. Rancangan model manajemen pendidikan antikorupsi berbasis perilaku kepemimpinan kenabian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada pencarian yang komprehensif dan transparan melalui beberapa database dan literatur yang direplikasi dan direproduksi oleh peneliti-peneliti sebelumnya. Proses penyusunan model ini juga dilakukan dengan berpedoman pada transparansi, kejelasan, integrasi, fokus, persamaan, aksesibilitas, dan cakupan yang sesuai dengan kaidah penelitian. Model manajemen pendidikan antikorupsi berbasis kepemimpinan kenabian yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini memfokuskan pada pengembangan perilaku antikorupsi melalui keteladanan terhadap perilaku kepemimpinan kenabian di dalam organisasi. Implementasi model ini menggunakan 5 (lima) metode dengan 8 (delapan) tahapan yang dilakukan secara berkesinambungan dan terintegrasi dengan manajemen sumber daya manusia organisasi. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan model asesmen kepribadian antikorupsi berbasis kepemimpinan kenabian, yang merupakan pengembangan dari asesmen kepribadian antikorupsi KPK, kemudian dimodifikasi dengan nilai-nilai perilaku kepemimpinan kenabian. Model manajemen pendidikan antikorupsi berbasis kepemimpinan kenabian ini memiliki nilai kebaruan (novelty), yaitu sebagai sebuah inovasi dalam upaya pencegahan tindak pidana korupsi yang sistematis, komprehensif, efektif, efisien, dan berkelanjutan. Model ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi DPR dan DPRD dalam menjalankan fungsi pengawasan berbasis pencegahan terhadap penggunaan keuangan negara oleh pemerintah.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Cisaat, Kecamatan Ciater, Subang, Jawa Barat, bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dalam mengelola potensi wisata desa yang meliputi perkebunan sayuran, kebun nanas, perkebunan teh, peternakan sapi perah, dan pemanfaatan kotoran sapi menjadi biogas. Program ini dirancang berdasarkan analisis situasi yang komprehensif, identifikasi masalah, serta solusi dan metode pelaksanaan yang terstruktur. Tujuan utama dari program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pengelolaan potensi wisata desa yang berkelanjutan, meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam manajemen pariwisata dan promosi digital, memperkuat kelembagaan ekonomi lokal, serta mengembangkan desa wisata yang berkelanjutan dan kompetitif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi koordinasi dengan pihak terkait, persiapan alat dan materi, analisis situasi, identifikasi peserta, pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi dan pelaporan kegiatan. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat, serta penguatan kelembagaan ekonomi lokal yang mendukung pengembangan desa wisata yang berkelanjutan. Dengan hasil ini, diharapkan Desa Cisaat dapat menjadi model bagi desa-desa lain dalam mengelola potensi wisata mereka secara efektif dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Introduction: The prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases is higher among prison populations compared with the general population. Prisoners have high rates of chronic conditions, and the experience of detention (exposure) generally has a greater impact on health than the length of detention. Aims: This article discusses some of the most important infectious diseases found in prisons. Methods: All research was conducted using a cross-sectional study design and published after 2018. Results: We found HIV, HBV, HCV and Syphilis as common sexually transmitted diseases in prison. HIV incidence was found to be 3.7%, 0.4%, 1.4%, 4.1%, and 1.6%. The incidence of hepatitis B in this study was 3.3%, 6.3%, 16.4%, and 41.5%, while the incidence of hepatitis C was 2.3%, 6.2%, 11.6%, 14.3%, and 18.9%. Syphilis was found in 7.0%, 22.1%, 1.1%, 2.0%, 0 and 1.2%. Conclusion: The incidence of sexually transmitted diseases found in the incarcerated population is high.

Abstract

The alpha generation is another term for children born in 2010 to 2025. The alpha generation is closely related to the use of technology products, especially gadgets. Therefore, this generation is also called the digital generation. Technology offers many benefits to humans, but technology can also create opportunities for students to exhibit deviant behavior. This is a special concern for teachers because it can affect the development and change of student behavior, especially basic education students. Therefore, teachers need to know what challenges and strategies can be applied in dealing with students from the alpha generation. Therefore, this study aims to identify challenges and strategies that can be applied by teachers in dealing with this generation of students based on behavioristic theory. This research is qualitative research with the method used is a literature study. Data is obtained from journals, articles, books and other documentation related to this topic. Based on the analysis of the results of the literature study, it was found that the challenges faced by teachers are related to mastery of technology and teachers' creativity in creating innovative and differentiated learning and becoming inspiring mentors for students. With this research, it is hoped that it can be knowledge for teachers in dealing with students at school based on its characteristics. So that the learning process and knowledge transfer can run well and achieve national education goals.

Abstract

Adolescence is a time when the most important events in human life occur. This period is the formation of their social and professional guidelines, the formation of a worldview, value, motivational and normative sphere. Sanggar Theater O is a community group that exists as an alternative form of transition from negative activities in Angke Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta. The founder of the Sanggar Theater O, Alfian, explained that the birth of the Sanggar Theater O in the RW 03 area was a form of Alfian's desire to be able to create a harmonious environment in the area. Tolerance is a mental attitude that is able to accept other individual differences. Confidence attitudes include the categories of psychological impact of participation in the intervention, physical impact of participation in the intervention, importance of social support, and importance of settings tailored to needs. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. This research was conducted at the Sanggar Theater O, Angke Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta. The research was carried out from 5 to 7 June 2024. The variables in this research included two independent variables consisting of Tolerance (Y1), Self-Confidence (Y2) and one dependent variable Theater Sanggar (X). The population in this study were all members of the Sanggar Theater O, totaling 20 people. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis, prerequisite testing. Sanggar Theater O towards tolerance gets a sig correlation value. 0.05 . relationship between Sanggar Theater O get a correlation sig value. 0.05. There is a relationship between Sanggar Theater O towards an attitude of tolerance and there is a relationship between Sanggar Theater O towards an attitude of self-confidence.

Abstract

Abstract Sirnajaya Village, located in Sukamakmur Subdistrict, Bogor Regency, has significant potential in the tourism sector, particularly in ecotourism, with the presence of Agrowisata Setu Rawa Gede. However, developing tourism potential in this village faces several challenges, such as the lack of community awareness regarding the importance of sustainable tourism management, limited skills in managing natural resources, and inadequate tourism support facilities. This article examines implementing a community service program to empower the Sirnajaya Village community to manage ecotourism potential through revitalizing the local tourism awareness group. The program involves training, mentoring, and strengthening local economic institutions using a participatory approach. The results of this program indicate an increase in community awareness and skills in tourism management, as well as the strengthening of local institutions that support the sustainable development of the village's tourism sector. These findings contribute to village development and community-based tourism development in Indonesia. Abstrak Desa Sirnajaya, Kecamatan Sukamakmur, Kabupaten Bogor, memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor pariwisata, khususnya ekowisata, dengan keberadaan Agrowisata Setu Rawa Gede. Namun, pengembangan potensi wisata di desa ini dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan, seperti kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pengelolaan wisata yang berkelanjutan, keterbatasan keterampilan dalam pengelolaan hasil alam, serta minimnya fasilitas pendukung pariwisata. Artikel ini mengkaji pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Desa Sirnajaya dalam mengelola potensi ekowisata melalui pendekatan revitalisasi kelompok sadar wisata. Program ini melibatkan pelatihan, pendampingan, dan penguatan kelembagaan ekonomi lokal dengan menggunakan metode partisipatif. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan wisata, serta penguatan kelembagaan lokal yang mendukung pengembangan desa wisata yang berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam konteks pembangunan desa dan pengembangan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat di Indonesia.

Abstract

The compulsory education program aims to ensure that every citizen receives a proper basic education. However, the implementation of this program faces various challenges, especially related to the perception of teachers as the main actors in implementing education policies. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2023, Papua Province has the lowest Average Years of Schooling (RLS). This research aims to obtain an overview of the perceptions of teachers in Papua towards the 12 -year compulsory education program and the factors that influence their views. The research method used is a mixed methods sequential explanatory model. The respondents in the research were 20 teachers who taught in various regions in Papua. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. The research results show that teachers have a fairly good understanding of the 12 yearcompulsory education program. The teachers recommended several suggestions to increase the effectiveness of the 12-year compulsory education program, such as: building boarding schools, intensive training for teachers, socialization of the program involving community leaders, and a curriculum based on local wisdom.
