Abstract

The number of sexual violence against children in Indonesia continues to increase yearly, and most incidents of sexual violence occur in households and nearby places. They are perpetrated by people close to the child. So parents need to understand sex education for early childhood in order to prevent sexual violence experienced in early childhood. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between access to information obtained by parents on an understanding of early childhood sexual education. The method used in this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and questionnaires given to parents of early childhood at the Delima PAUD unit, Bengkulu City. The results showed that 57.78% of parents most often access information through social media, 33.33% through television, 4.44% through books, newspapers, and magazines, and 4.44% through radio. The data processing results using SPSS show a reasonably close relationship between access to information obtained by parents and understanding of early childhood sexual education. The more quality access to information obtained, the better understanding parents will have. The coefficient of determinant shows that access to information obtained by parents explains the understanding of early childhood sexual education by 19.9%, and other variables explain the remaining 80.1%.

Abstract

Daycare is an organized care facility carried out during working hours to take care of children who do not receive complete care from their parents. The purpose of this study is that daycare is not a complement to parental care, but as a service that comes along with the times that can accommodate the dynamics of lifestyle. This study uses a qualitative approach. The results of the research are parenting services, education services, health services, nutrition services, and infrastructure services. Options regarding full day-based care designed to help mothers who are busy working all day in line with the development of the dual role phenomenon and how to fulfill learning-based childcare efforts.

Abstract

Since Indonesia was declared a pandemic, the majority of Skills and Training Institutions (STIs) have not been able to survive and have closed down. This is especially true for STIs that were designed for face-to-face learning and could not adapt to the change to digital-based learning. Meanwhile, the characteristics of adults who have various learning models, motivation, interests, and goals require individualization in learning, which is usually accommodated by face-to-face education. Therefore, this research aims to find out how the implementation of adult learning is carried out in non-formal education institutions, namely the Online Business School (SBO). This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method, with the aim of obtaining an overview of the implementation of adult education learning at the non-formal education unit, the Online Business School (SBO). The research findings show that as a training institution that had designed its training online long before the pandemic, SBO applies a learning model that is not much different from the training that has changed to online due to the social restrictions imposed by the Indonesian government. Nevertheless, the minimal implementation of adult learning still makes SBO an attractive program as indicated by an average of 50-60 learners and reaching its peak during the pandemic.

Abstract

Human resource development aims to increase their abilities so that they can be used in the industrial world and help them do their jobs through the education process. Human resource development is a systematic and planned activity aimed at developing employees to improve the skills and competencies needed according to work demands, both now and in the future. The lack of human resources will result in an increase in the number of unemployed in Indonesia, because one of the factors for the increase in unemployment is caused by a decrease in the quality of human resources, making it difficult to get a job due to a lack of expertise in work needs. In facing the world of work and industry, the government provides answers related to current problems with the Link and match policy. This link and match policy creates graduates with expertise and skills in working in accordance with industry standards and the world of work and this policy can be applied to non-formal education such as courses and training institutions or other similar units.

Abstract

The policy of the Freedom of Learning program by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia is currently in the spotlight and special attention of education organizers and the academic community. Philosophically and conceptually, this has been implemented by the non-formal educational institution Sanggar Anak Alam (SALAM) Yogyakarta. The purpose of the study was to analyze the SALAM learning process and the roles of the facilitators concerning the Freedom of Learning policy. This study used a qualitative approach. Research informants were selected by snowball sampling technique. The data collection process was carried out by in-depth interviews, field notes, and documentation studies. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model. Triangulation was used to strengthen arguments in explaining research phenomena. Based on data analysis, it is known that SALAM had its learning model. They had a Learning Cycle as the curriculum. It also indicated that the role of teachers in SALAM included; 1) designing the curriculum according to the needs of students; 2) implementing active learning; and 3) encouraging the SALAM learning community. It followed the ideal goals of the Freedom of Learning philosophy.

Abstract

he purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomesby using PAPEC class IV SD learning media for mathematics subjects related to fractionsdirectly. This study used a quantitative approach method that was useful for testing of media onfraction material, specifically equivalent fractions and simplification of fractions that supportstudent learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were fourth-grade students of SDN Sukasari03 Kec. Pameungpeuk, using a research instrument in the form of a descriptive test. Based on thedata obtained, the researcher found that 82.7% of fourth-grade students could effectively andsuccessfully solve fraction problems, which exceeded the minimum standard of 80%. During cycle1, only 58.6% of students met the minimum standard, so the study was repeated during cycle 2and achieved a percentage of 82.7%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded thatPAPEC learning media can improve student learning outcomes and can be used as a referencefor mathematics teachers in fractional learning.

Abstract

Writing scientific papers is closely related to education and research. For this reason, in this research, training plays a role in understanding the increase in teacher professionalism after attending education and training. In this research, researchers studied a systematic literature review (SLR) regarding the role of education and training in installing Solar Power Plants (PLTS) in improving teachers' professional competence. The data source in this research is the Google Scholar database of 110 documents published from 2018 to 2022, filtered by applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, and 8 articles analyzed in full-text form. Based on research results with a systematic literature review, education and training can increase teacher professionalism, such as increasing interest in teaching talents, increasing teaching creativity, having a professional organization that has the authority to regulate matters related to teachers' professional duties, and teachers can make the best use of their time. -good. it is possible to improve knowledge and skills through other training. Keywords: Education and training, teacher professionalism

Abstract

Sustainable waste management is a responsibility for consumption and production, by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). According to data from the Karawang Regency Central Statistics Agency, in 2021, it is estimated that the amount of organic waste produced every day in the Village X area will range from 16.13 to 18.43 tonnes. This high amount of organic waste is a major problem regarding the region's environmental cleanliness and health. People at Village X Waste Bank are trying to utilise organic waste as food for fly larvae (maggots), but the success rate has only reached 30%. Research in Village X in October 2023 aims to determine the problems faced and strategies for optimizing maggot cultivation. The sample consisted of three informants, namely Village X, the director of Waste Bank X, and Village X staff. The research was conducted using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, and the analysis technique for strategy formulation was Fishbone Diagram analysis. Based on the analysis, the factors causing problems at Bank Sampah X include: lack of knowledge and training, obsolete machines and unsupportive funds, lack of facilities and infrastructure, inappropriate waste characteristics, lack of communication and monitoring, lack of role of local youth organizations, presence of maggot predators, and lack of role of local youth organizations. Monitoring and evaluation activities are strategies to overcome these problems.

Abstract

Penulisan karya ilmiah sangat erat kaitannya dengan dunia pendidikan dan penelitian. Untuk itu, dalam penelitian ini pelatihan memiliki andil dalam memahami peningkatan profesionalisme guru setelah mengikuti Pendidikan dan pelatihan. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti mengkaji secara systematic literature review (SLR) terkait peran Pendidikan dan pelatihan pemasangan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) terhadap peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah database Google Scholar dari 110 dokumen terbitan 2018 hingga 2022, disaring dengan menerapkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dan terdapat 8 artikel yang dianalisis dalam bentuk teks lengkap. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan systematic literature review, dengan adanya Pendidikan dan pelatihan mampu meningkatkan profesional guru seperti meningkatnya minat bakat dalam mengajar, meningkatnya kreativitas mengajar, memiliki organisasi profesi yang mempunyai kewenangan mengatur hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan tugas keprofesionalan guru, guru dapat memanfaatkan waktunya semaksimal mungkin untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui pelatihan lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses assessment untuk kegiatan intervensi komunitas pada program literasi bisnis digital marketing untuk membangun ketahanan keluarga. Masyarakat desa di Ibun Majalaya sudah memiliki produk lokal dan dengan perkembangan teknologi, membutuhkan dukungan dalam memiliki literasi dalam bisnis digital marketing. Untuk mengetahui assessment dalam Intervensi komunitas yang dilakukan, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melalui teknik wawancara, forum group dan informal partisipasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses perencanaan intervensi komunitas menggunakan pendekatan topdown dan bottom up, sehingga dalam tahapan assessment dilakukan baik melalui studi literature maupun pendekatan kepada tokoh masyarakat dan pimpinan organisasi komunitas, melakukan pemetaaan dan pengenalan kepada komunitas sasaran, melakukan sosialisasi program dengan menumbuhkan partisipasi aktif dari setiap anggota komunitas tersebut. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa proses assessment intervensi menjadi langkah terpenting dalam pengembangan program pemberdayaan di Masyarakat dan membutuhkan proses yang melibatkan semua anggota komunitas.
