Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh work-life balance, stres kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan sektor manufaktur di Surakarta. Pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif digunakan dengan data primer dari 100 responden melalui kuesioner tertutup skala Likert 1–5. Analisis meliputi evaluasi model pengukuran (validitas konvergen, diskriminan, dan reliabilitas) serta model struktural melalui uji multikolinearitas (VIF), R², effect size f², dan uji hipotesis menggunakan bootstrapping di SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, sedangkan stres kerja berpengaruh negatif, menurunkan kepuasan karyawan akibat beban kerja, tekanan target, dan kelelahan fisik/emosional. Selain itu, lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, baik fisik maupun sosial, meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan keseimbangan kerja, mitigasi stres, dan penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja di sektor manufaktur.

Abstract

Muslim Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises play a strategic role in promoting local economic empowerment and enhancing community welfare. However, in practice, many business actors still face limited access to capital that complies with Islamic principles as well as a low level of understanding of Islamic financial instruments, including productive waqf. CV. Sarana Teknik Industri, as the program partner, possesses strong social and economic potential through a socially oriented business model, yet has not optimally utilized its assets and resources to support sustainable business development. This community service program aims to strengthen productive waqf literacy among MSME employees in order to promote economic independence based on Islamic values. The methods employed include productive waqf literacy training, mentoring in Islamic financial management, and the design of productive asset management models. Program evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test assessments involving 13 employees, complemented by qualitative observations of changes in participants’ attitudes and social initiatives. The results indicate a 33% increase in participants’ understanding, from an average pre-test score of 52% to 85% in the post-test. Furthermore, participants demonstrated a mindset transformation, as reflected in the emergence of internal initiatives such as the establishment of an employee-based productive waqf program. This program demonstrates that productive waqf literacy not only enhances knowledge but also fosters economic independence, social innovation, and business sustainability among MSMEs. These findings provide a basis for recommending that other Muslim MSMEs integrate productive waqf as a sustainable instrument for economic empowerment.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital telah mentransformasi proses manajemen sumber daya manusia (MSDM) dalam proses rekrutmen, khususnya dalam penyebaran lowongan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media sosial dan deskripsi pekerjaan terhadap minat melamar kerja generasi Z dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan dari responden mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) untuk menguji hipotesis atau hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung antarvariabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap minat melamar kerja. Deskripsi pekerjaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat melamar kerja. Kemudian motivasi kerja terbukti berperan sebagai variabel intervening yang signifikan untuk memediasi pengaruh media sosial dan deskripsi pekerjaan terhadap minat melamar kerja. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial tidak dapat mempengaruhi secara langsung minat melamar kerja mahasiswa generasi Z. Untuk media sosial dan deskripsi pekerjaan secara bersamaan berperan penting dalam membangun motivasi kerja mahasiswa generasi Z untuk berminat melamar kerja. Dengan peran motivasi kerja sebagai mediasi terbukti mendorong mahasiswa generasi Z dalam mengambil keputusan melamar kerja.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital dan tuntutan dunia kerja modern menempatkan kesiapan kerja sebagai kompetensi penting bagi mahasiswa generasi Z, bukan sekedar dari sisi kemampuan teknis tetapi juga dari aspek soft skills, kepercayaan diri, dan literasi digital. Studi ini ditujukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh soft skills dan self-efficacy terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa generasi Z dengan digital literacy sebagai variabel intervening pada mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Desain riset ialah kuantitatif eksplanatori melalui metode survei, dengan responden mahasiswa aktif generasi Z yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berskala Likert. Data dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM via SmartPLS 4 guna memetakan signifikansi pengaruh, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Temuan membuktikan bahwasannya soft skills dan self-efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, serta berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap digital literacy. Namun, digital literacy tidak terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja dan tidak memediasi hubungan antara soft skills maupun self-efficacy dengan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa generasi Z. Temuan ini menekankan bahwa peningkatan kesiapan kerja lebih banyak ditentukan oleh penguatan soft skills dan self-efficacy secara langsung dibandingkan melalui literasi digital sebagai variabel intervening.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership on innovative work behavior, considering the moderating effects of perceived organizational support and work engagement among employees of PT.H. The research employed a quantitative method with SEM-PLS analysis, involving 57 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire designed to measure the research variables. The results indicate that transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on innovative work behavior, suggesting that leaders who adopt this leadership style can encourage employees to innovate and contribute creatively in the workplace. However, the analysis also revealed that perceived organizational support and work engagement do not significantly moderate this relationship. This finding implies that, while support and engagement are important, the impact of transformational leadership on innovative behavior remains strong regardless of these factors. Understanding that transformational leadership can independently enhance innovative behavior, companies are advised to focus on strengthening leadership styles to create a work culture that supports innovation. This research also opens opportunities for further studies on other factors that might influence the relationship between leadership and innovation in organizational settings.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Brand Image and Religious Belief on Purchase Intention of halal cosmetic products, with Attitude toward Product as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach is employed, utilizing Partial Least Squares (PLS) for data analysis. The study's population comprises Muslim women in Surakarta who use halal-certified cosmetics, with a sample selected through non-probability purposive sampling. Data collection is conducted via questionnaires using a Likert scale (1–5), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 is applied for analysis. The results indicate that Brand Image and Religious Belief do not directly impact Purchase Intention. However, both variables significantly influence Attitude toward Product. Furthermore, Attitude toward Product mediates the relationship between Brand Image and Purchase Intention, as well as between Religious Belief and Purchase Intention. Study limitations include a restricted sample size, limited geographic coverage, and the exclusion of other potential independent variables. Future research should expand the sample size, broaden geographic scope, and incorporate additional independent variables to enhance the validity and generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Career Development, Self-Efficacy, and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT. Pacific Garment, with Work Motivation as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach was used, involving 50 employees as the sample. Data were collected via questionnaires on career development, self-efficacy, work environment, work motivation, and employee performance. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with Smart PLS 3 software. The results show that Career Development has a positive effect on work motivation but does not significantly affect performance. Self-Efficacy positively influences performance but not motivation. The work environment positively impacts motivation, but not performance. Work motivation has a positive effect on performance but does not mediate other factors. These findings suggest that while motivation improves performance, other factors' influence on performance is weak. The study's limitations include its reliance on questionnaires and a focus on one company. Future research should explore diverse indicators, use qualitative methods, and involve other organizations.

Abstract

Challenges such as limited infrastructure, financial constraints, and lack of awareness hinder the effective implementation of open access (OA) initiatives, hindering their continued growth as a means to democratize knowledge and increase research visibility, particularly in developing countries. This study aims to investigate the current state of open access publishing in developing countries, identifying challenges and opportunities that could shape the future of academic dissemination. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining quantitative surveys of researchers and qualitative interviews with key stakeholders, including publishers and policymakers. The study collected data from several developing countries to provide a comprehensive overview of the OA landscape. The findings indicate that while awareness and support for OA publishing are growing, significant barriers remain, including the lack of funding models and inadequate training for researchers on OA practices. The study concludes that fostering a culture of open access in developing countries is crucial for enhancing academic collaboration and information sharing. By addressing identified challenges, such as improving infrastructure and increasing financial support, stakeholders can create a more conducive environment for OA publishing. This study emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts between governments, institutions, and the academic community to harness the potential of open access, ultimately contributing to the advancement of knowledge and research equity in developing countries.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Word of Mouth (WOM) dan Digital Marketing terhadap penjualan produk perikanan Bandeng Juwana dengan Brand Loyalty sebagai variabel intervening. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling terhadap 105 responden yang pernah membeli produk Bandeng Juwana. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Squares (PLS) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Word of Mouth dan Digital Marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penjualan produk. Selain itu, Brand Loyalty juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penjualan serta mampu memediasi pengaruh Word of Mouth dan Digital Marketing terhadap penjualan produk secara parsial. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemasaran yang menggabungkan komunikasi dari mulut ke mulut dan pemasaran digital yang efektif dapat meningkatkan loyalitas konsumen sekaligus mendorong peningkatan penjualan produk Bandeng Juwana.

Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengujian keterkaitan antara kesiapan kompetensi digital dan integrasi kehidupan kerja dengan tingkat kinerja karyawan di salah satu perusahaan swasta, PT X, dengan kesejahteraan karyawan diposisikan sebagai variabel intervening yang memediasi hubungan antarvariabel tersebut. Penelitian ini ditempatkan dalam kerangka kuantitatif yang berlandaskan pada pandangan positivisme, dengan penentuan responden dilakukan melalui teknik pemilihan sampel secara selektif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 83 pegawai berstatus tetap yang memenuhi kriteria tertentu, yaitu memiliki masa kerja sekurang-kurangnya satu tahun serta terlibat aktif dalam pemanfaatan sistem berbasis digital dalam aktivitas kerjanya. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner berskala Likert lima kategori digunakan sebagai sumber data, yang selanjutnya diolah melalui pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) guna mengevaluasi kelayakan instrumen (validitas dan reliabilitas) sekaligus menganalisis hubungan kausal, baik pengaruh langsung maupun peran variabel mediasi. Hasil analisis empiris mengungkapkan bahwa kesiapan keterampilan digital memiliki kontribusi yang bermakna dalam meningkatkan performa kerja karyawan sekaligus kondisi kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Berbeda dengan itu, integrasi antara kehidupan kerja dan kehidupan pribadi hanya menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap aspek kesejahteraan karyawan, tanpa berdampak langsung pada capaian kinerja. Lebih lanjut, kesejahteraan karyawan berperan sebagai variabel intervening yang secara efektif menjembatani pengaruh kesiapan keterampilan digital dan integrasi kehidupan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan keterampilan digital dan kesejahteraan karyawan dalam meningkatkan kinerja, serta memberikan dasar bagi perusahaan untuk merancang pelatihan, sistem kerja fleksibel, dan kebijakan yang mendukung kesejahteraan karyawan.
