Abstract

Media merupakan alat yang dapat digunakan dalam proses mempermudah dalam melakukan sesuatu, tak terlepas dari dunia pendidikan. Media sangat membantu dalam penjelasan suatu materi agar lebih mudah dipahami, lebih ringkas dan lebih menarik. Penggunaan media pembelajaran ISpring materi IPS dipilih karena keberadaan smartphone di perguruan tinggi sangatlah berdampingan dan dibutuhkan, sehingga menarik untuk di teliti. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran menurut ahli materi, 2) untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran menurut ahli media. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development approach (R & D) dengan menggunakan model 4-D (Four-D Models) yang terdiri dari empat tahap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Secara keseluruhan, rata-rata penilaian aspek materi oleh para ahli materi diperoleh nilai 81,25. Hasil penilaian tersebut masuk dalam rentang nilai 81,25< skor ≤100% dengan kategori sangat layak, 2) Secara keseluruhan, rata-rata penilaian oleh ahli media diperoleh nilai 86,67, hasil penilaian tersebut masuk dalam rentang nilai 81,25< skor ≤100% dengan kategori sangat layak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menilai kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis Arduino Uno dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran fisika, terutama pada konsep tekanan hidrostatis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai kelayakan ahli materi dan media serta menguji akurasi alat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang dimodifikasi menjadi ADD (Analysis, Design & Development). Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di SMAN 3 Sungai Kakap, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan validasi ahli. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata penilaian ahli materi mencapai 95% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan ahli media memberikan penilaian rata-rata 93,75% juga dengan kategori sangat layak. Akurasi alat FPM mencapai rata-rata 87,13%, menunjukkan tingkat ketepatan yang sangat baik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran berbasis Arduino Uno sangat layak digunakan dan dapat meningkatkan minat serta motivasi siswa dalam belajar fisika.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan keterampilan guru dari tingkat dasar hingga menengah atas mengenai konsep, prinsip, dan manfaat implementasi STEM, coding, dan robotik dalam pembelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan PKM yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan Adapun tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM meliputi tahap 1) persiapan, 2) sosialisasi meliputi kegiatan pemaparan narasumber, diskusi, tanya jawab, 3) pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan oleh fasilitator meliputi praktik dan unjuk kerja 4) monitoring dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan wawasan dan keterampilan guru dari tingkat dasar hingga menengah atas tentang implementasi STEM, coding, dan robotik berbasis STEM. Selain itu, keterampilan guru dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran berbasis STEM juga meningkat. Program ini juga berhasil memperkenalkan sumber digital yang mendukung penerapan STEM, coding, dan robotik dalam pembelajaran. Respon positif peserta menunjukkan motivasi untuk mengaplikasikan STEM, dan kemitraan antara perguruan tinggi dan sekolah menjadi langkah awal untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran inovatif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant difference in critical thinking skills of students taught with Guided inquiry learning model with students taught conventional learning model on virus material in class X SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak. The method used is quantitative with a pretest – posttest only group design experimental design. This research was conducted in class X SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak using simple random sampling technique with 2 class samples, namely class XA as the control class and XB as the experimental class. Data were obtained through pretest and posttest tests of students' critical thinking skills with essay questions. The data obtained was analyzed quantitatively by statistical tests. The results of the study showed critical thinking skills in the experimental class with the previous average score of 40.97 and afterwards 84.44. The critical thinking ability of conventional model students with an average score of 38.75 before and 60.13 afterwards. There is a significant difference in the Guided inquiry learning model on the critical thinking ability of grade X students of SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak.

Abstract

Pemerintah melalui kemenristekdikti memberikan amanah berupa dukungan dana hibah untuk pengembangan program PDS kepada IKIP PGRI Pontianak melalui program Revitalisasi LPTK. IKIP PGRI Pontianak merancang program penguatan dan pengembangan program PDS berbasis Learning Community. Implementasi PDS dirancang tidak sekedar mengalirkan IPTEKS dari LPTK ke sekolah laboratorium dan mitra, namun juga terjadi saling belajar dan berbagi informasi di bidang pembelajaran berbasis scientific approach, manajemen sekolah modern,pengembangan bahan ajar, dan lain-lain. Evaluasi pelaksanaan PDS (existing) yang selama ini dilakukan, diperoleh temuan bahwa idealnya pelaksanaan PDS memunculkan paradigma baru, yaitu dosen yang ditugaskan dalam PDS tidak hanya sebatas mengalirkan IPTEKS namun juga mendapatkan pelajaran dari lingkungan sekolah (siswa, guru, tatakelola sekolah, dan lain-lain). Hasil kegiatan PDS ini membuat dosen dan guru bekerja sama dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, mereka juga berkalaborasi dalam penelitian, sehingga guru-guru yang kurang paham dalam penelitian akan dibantu oleh dosen. Begitu pula dosen yang mengajar di kelas akan dibantu oleh guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran karena guru lebih paham karakteristik siswa di sekolah. Dari kegiatan PDS ini, dosen dan guru berkalaborasi dalampenyusunan artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikn di jurnal penelitian dan buku perangkat pembelajaran yang dalam proses editing untuk di ISBNkan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru fisika di Kota Pontianak melalui inovasi asesmen pembelajaran berbasis deep learning. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasarkan pada tantangan guru dalam mengembangkan asesmen yang relevan dengan keterampilan abad ke-21, di mana asesmen tradisional masih dominan dan kurang mampu mengukur keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui tahapan persiapan, workshop, praktik penyusunan instrumen asesmen, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Sasaran kegiatan adalah guru fisika SMA/SMK yang tergabung dalam MGMP Fisika Kota Pontianak. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman guru terhadap konsep asesmen berbasis deep learning, yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan skor pretest dan posttest. Selain itu, keterampilan guru dalam menyusun instrumen asesmen juga meningkat dengan rata-rata kategori “baik”, meskipun aspek autentisitas asesmen masih perlu diperkuat. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan asesmen berbasis deep learning efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual sekaligus keterampilan praktis guru fisika, sehingga dapat berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran sains di era digital.

Abstract

Based on pre-observation results, researchers found that student learning outcomes in electromagnetic induction material were still below the standards set by the school. This is due to the lack of learning media used. Therefore, it is necessary to develop innovative media that can support learning, namely blog-based learning media. This research aims to determine feasibility according to media experts, feasibility according to material experts, and test students' responses to the media being developed. This research uses Thiagarajan's R&D steps with a 4D model, namely (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), but in its implementation in this research it is modified to 3D, namely Define, Design, and Develop. The results of data analysis show that from the media aspect it is categorized as very appropriate with a score of 91%, from the material aspect it is categorized as appropriate with a score of 75% and the results of student responses to the media being developed are categorized as very feasible with a score of 95%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the learning media with the Academic Blog is said to be suitable for use in learning electromagnetic induction material.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a magnetic measuring instrument based on Arduino Uno microcontroller and apply the results as a learning medium to measure student achievement. This tool is designed to provide precise magnetic measurements using sensors integrated into the Arduino Uno. The measurement method implemented in this tool allows users to obtain magnetic data accurately and efficiently. This research is a Research and Development research using a five-stage ADDIE model. In preparation for the study, the analysis stage has been carried out. The Design, Development, and Implementation stages are carried out at the stage of research implementation. Evaluation is carried out at every stage starting from preparation, implementation to research reporting. The results of the research obtained based on the validation of material and media experts obtained an average value of 81 with a very feasible category so that the Arduino Uno microcontroller-based magnetic measuring instrument can be used in classroom learning. The results of the post test and pritest revealed that the Arduino Uno microcontroller-based magnetic measuring instrument proved effective in improving student learning outcomes with an N-Gain value of 0.76 in the high category. The implementation of this magnetic measuring instrument not only focuses on technical aspects, but also on its use as a learning medium. With a simple interface design and clear user guidance, the tool is expected to provide an interactive and effective learning experience. Users can understand the concept of magnetism and apply it in a practical context with the help of this tool. This research contributed to the development of magnetic measuring instruments that are affordable, easy to use, and can be applied in various learning contexts. Thus, the results of this research can be a reference for the development of similar technologies and provide benefits in the field of science and technology education.

Abstract

This research explores the development and innovative implementation of an Arduino Uno-based Geiger-Muller counter (GMC) as a physics learning tool designed to enhance students’ critical thinking skills. The aim was to address the gap in effective educational media in teaching radioactivity materials. This research used the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model, which includes the analysis, design, implementation development, and evaluation stages. The sample of this study involved 165 students at University of PGRI Pontianak, using a pre-experimental design with one pretest-posttest group. Validation by experts and feedback from students confirmed the high validity and effectiveness of the media, with significant improvements seen in critical thinking indicators such as evaluation, analysis, interpretation, and inference. The use of real-world materials, including red Borneo agate testing, provided a practical context that enriched the learning experience. Although there was no control group, the findings suggest that integrating hands-on technology-based tools into physics education can significantly improve students’ critical thinking skills. This study contributes to the growing literature on educational innovation, offering practical solutions to improve critical thinking in science education through interactive and contextually relevant learning media.
