Abstract

This activity was carried out with the aim of: (1) Increasing teacher knowledge in processing and analyzing research data; (2) Developing teacher awareness and knowledge about the importance of data management in research data analysis; (3) Improving the insight, ability and skills of teachers in utilizing data to make it more informative by analyzing data using excel software; and (4) Reducing the number of teachers who perform data processing and analysis intuitively and manually in the computing era. The results of the implementation of this activity were: (1) The knowledge of teachers in processing and analyzing research data was increased; (2) The awareness and knowledge of teachers about the importance of processing and analyzing research data were developed; (3) The insight, ability and skills of teachers in utilizing data to be more informative with proper data processing and analysis were improved; and (4) The number of teachers who perform data processing and analysis intuitively and manually in the computing era was reduced. Abstrak Pengolahan data menggunakan Anaysis Toolspack dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan bagi guru-guru di Kab. Barru bekerjasama dengan UPT SMA Negeri 1 Barru Kabupaten Takalar. Pelatihan bertempat di SMA Negeri 1 Barru Kabupaten Barru dan dilaksanakan secara daring dengan menggunakan Zoom. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah agar guru terampil dalam menggunakan paket statistik yang dimiliki Excel untuk mengolah data dan mengolah data menjadi satu informasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan statistika pada paket excel analysis tools pack dalam mengolah dan mengolah data setelah pelatihan lebih baik (meningkatkan) daripada sebelum pelatihan.

Abstract

This Community Service is carried out by looking at the condition of the library's main books which are in disarray, the entry of books is not clear, lots of books are lost, whether they are borrowed, damaged, or for other reasons that are not clear, and many books are also destroyed without minutes so that an application is needed that can help the library to become more organized and monitored. The aim of PkM is to help optimize Digital-Based MAN 1 Bulukumba Library Services. PkM participants are librarians, teachers, and students of MAN 1 Bulukumba. The training implementation method consists of two stages, namely direct material presentation and mentoring, where material presentation is carried out in plenary and hands-on practice on how to install, introduce features and use them, and prospective library members also immediately try to open the application on their smartphone device. An analysis of the success of this PkM activity was carried out by observing the participants' ability to understand the material, the ability to use the application and the satisfaction of using the application, as well as the appearance of the application's features. The results of the activity were that this PkM succeeded in helping to optimize digital-based MAN 1 Bulukumba Library services. Participants are very able to understand the material and apply it in developing their library services such as being able to organize library books and Sistem Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) are successfully implemented by classifying books according to their type and arranging the positions of these books so that they are easily found by library members. The ability to use applications by librarians is 100% because all library staff consisting of 4 librarians are able to provide library services through applications. Students and teachers who are prospective members of the library also managed to log in 100% to the MAN 1 Bulukumba Library application during the training. The satisfaction of the application users can be seen from the enthusiasm of the application users, and they have started to come and try to borrow books from the library. The development of display features and feature development is also very extraordinary. Librarians are able to adjust the appearance of features according to the identity of the school. There is a development of the barcode scan feature with a barcode that is made in each book and a notification feature via WhatsApp so that they can receive the latest information about borrowing their books. They can also transact using WhatsApp to extend the borrowing of books. Abstrak Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan dengan melihat kondisi buku induk perpustakaan yang amburadul, pencatatan buku masuk tidak jelas, banyak sekali buku-buku yang hilang, entah itu dipinjam, rusak, atau alasan lain yang tidak jelas, dan banyak juga buku dimusnahkan tanpa berita acara sehingga dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi yang dapat membantu perputakaan agar menjadi lebih terorganisir dan terpantau. Tujuan PkM yaitu untuk membantu Optimalisasi Layanan Perpustakaan MAN 1 Bulukumba Berbasis Digital. Peserta PkM yaitu pustakawan, guru, dan siswa-siswa MAN 1 Bulukumba. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan terdiri atas dua tahapan yaitu pemaparan materi langsung dan pendampingan, dimana pemaparan materi dilakukan secara pleno dan paktek langsung bagaimana instalasi, pengenalan fitur-fitur dan penggunaannya, serta para calon anggota perpustakaan juga langsung mencoba membuka aplikasi di perangkat smartphone mereka. Analisis keberhasilan kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan dengan observasi kemampuan peserta memahami materi, kemampuan penggunaan aplikasi dan kepuasan penggunaan aplikasi, serta tampilan fitur aplikasi. Hasil kegiatan yaitu PkM ini berhasil membantu optimalisasi layanan Perpustakaan MAN 1 Bulukumba berbasis digital. Peserta sangat mampu memahami materi dan menerapkannya dalam mengembangkan pelayanan perpustakaannya seperti mampu mengorganisir buku-buku perpustakaan dan materi Sistem Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) berhasil diterapkan dengan mengklasifikasikan buku sesuai dengan jenisnya dan mengatur posisi buku-buku tersebut agar mudah ditemukan oleh anggota perpustakaan. Kemampuan penggunaan aplikasi oleh pustakawan sudah 100% karena seluruh staf perpustakaan yang terdiri atas 4 orang pustakawan mampu memberikan pelayanan perpustakaan melalui aplikasi. Siswa dan guru yang menjadi calon anggota perpustakaan juga berhasil 100% login ke aplikasi Perpustakaan MAN 1 Bulukumba pada saat pelatihan. Untuk kepuasan pengguna aplikasi sendiri terlihat dari antusiasme pengguna aplikasi, dan sudah mulai berdatangan mencoba meminjam buku di perpustakaan. Perkembangan tampilan fitur dan pengembangan fitur juga sangat luar biasa. Pustakawan mampu menyesuaikan tampilan fitur sesuai dengan identitas sekolah. Ada pengembangan fitur scan barcode dengan barcode yang dibuat di setiap buku dan fitur notifikasi via whatsapp sehingga informasi terkini mengenai peminjaman buku mereka dapat mereka terima. Mereka juga dapat bertransaksi menggunakan whatsapp untuk perpanjangan peminjamam buku.

Abstract

This training was held in the Manimbahoi Village Meeting Room, Parigi District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province on August 31, 2023. Participants in this training were young people from Karang Taruna, with the aim that the community, especially young people in Manimbahoi Village, could understand the importance of digital marketing as an effort to market Manimbahoi coffee products not only in the Parigi District area but also to the National area. This community service activity went smoothly and as expected. The results of this service show that there has been an increase in the abilities and knowledge of the village community from not knowing to knowing about digital marketing for coffee marketing. Abstrak Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di Ruang Pertemuan Desa Manimbahoi, Kecamatan Parigi, Kabupaten Gowa, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan pada tanggal 31 Agustus 2023. Peserta dari pelatihan ini adalah pemuda karang taruna, dengan tujuan warga masyarakat khususnya pemuda di Desa Manimbahoi dapat memahami tentang pentingnya digital marketing sebagai upaya untuk memasarkan produk kopi Manimbahoi bukan hanya di daerah Kecamatan Parigi tetapi bisa ke kawasan Nasional. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan lancar dan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini, terlihat bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan dan pengetahuan masyarakat desa dari tidak tahu menjadi tahu tentang digital marketing untuk pemasaran kopi.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities at SMAN 1 Sindue Tobata is to improve the quality of learning by providing training on how to create ICT-based learning media and websites. Schools that are far from Palu city center face difficulties in using technology in the education process. The program successfully improved teachers' understanding and skills by providing training on the use of information and communication technology. The results of the data analysis showed that the components of technology understanding, learning media creation skills, and website management each received excellent ratings, with an average of 3.36, 3.67, and 3.89, respectively. The results show that SMAN 1 Sindue Tobata experienced an improvement in the quality of education thanks to the training.

Abstract

This training is in the form of training on creating digital learning materials using Heyzine at SMP Negeri 25 Barru. This training aims to equip teachers with the skills to create interactive and visually appealing learning resources. The training, held on August 22, 2024, used a workshop model consisting of two stages: theory sessions and practical sessions. The results showed significant improvement in teachers' ability to develop engaging and interactive materials, with increased confidence in using digital tools to support learning objectives. In addition, teachers gained insights into the use of technology to create meaningful educational experiences, and some teachers began to integrate Heyzine with other digital platforms such as Google Classroom. Overall, the training reflected a proactive approach to preparing educators for future educational challenges in an increasingly digitized world. Abstrak Pelatihan ini berupa pelatihan pembuatan materi pembelajaran digital menggunakan Heyzine di SMP Negeri 25 Barru. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali para guru dengan keterampilan membuat sumber belajar yang interaktif dan menarik secara visual. Pelatihan yang diselenggarakan pada tanggal 22 Agustus 2024 ini menggunakan model lokakarya yang terdiri dari dua tahap: sesi teori dan sesi praktik. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan guru untuk mengembangkan materi yang menarik dan interaktif, dengan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam menggunakan alat digital untuk mendukung tujuan pembelajaran. Selain itu, para guru memperoleh wawasan tentang penggunaan teknologi untuk menciptakan pengalaman pendidikan yang bermakna, dan beberapa guru mulai mengintegrasikan Heyzine dengan platform digital lainnya seperti Google Classroom. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini mencerminkan pendekatan proaktif untuk mempersiapkan para pendidik dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di masa depan di dunia yang semakin terdigitalisasi.

Abstract

The problems identified are the level of digital literacy that needs to be improved and the need for an understanding of AI ethics among teachers, which can hinder the education process in the digital era. The purpose of this service is to improve the digital competence and understanding of AI ethics of teachers, so that they can be more effective in teaching and guiding students towards responsible use of technology. Through an Action Research approach, the teachers were directly involved in the process of improving and developing their skills in digital literacy and scientific article writing. The methods used in this training involved lectures, discussions, and practical exercises using various interactive media such as Quizziz, videos, infographics, and educational games. The training was attended by 35 teachers on 4 March 2024. The results of the training showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge and skills related to digital literacy and AI ethics. In addition, there was a positive shift in attitudes towards the use of digital technology. The implication of the training results is the improvement of education quality in the participating schools, as more digitally literate teachers can be more effective in integrating technology in the learning process. In addition, these teachers can act as agents of change in society, helping to build a community of smart and responsible digital technology users. Abstrak Masalah yang diidentifikasi adalah tingkat literasi digital yang perlu ditingkatkan dan perlunya pemahaman etika AI di kalangan guru, yang dapat menghambat proses pendidikan di era digital. Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digital dan pemahaman etika AI para guru, sehingga mereka dapat lebih efektif dalam mengajar dan membimbing siswa menuju penggunaan teknologi yang bertanggung jawab. Melalui pendekatan Action Research, para guru terlibat secara langsung dalam proses peningkatan dan pengembangan kemampuan mereka dalam literasi digital dan penulisan artikel ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini melibatkan ceramah, diskusi, dan latihan praktis dengan menggunakan berbagai media interaktif seperti Quizziz, video, infografis, dan permainan edukatif. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 35 guru pada tanggal 4 Maret 2024. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta terkait literasi digital dan etika AI. Selain itu, terdapat pergeseran sikap yang positif terhadap penggunaan teknologi digital. Implikasi dari hasil pelatihan ini adalah peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah-sekolah peserta, karena guru yang lebih melek digital dapat lebih efektif dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, guru-guru ini dapat berperan sebagai agen perubahan dalam masyarakat, membantu membangun komunitas pengguna teknologi digital yang cerdas dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

The Ipteks for Community activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 25 Barru, Barru Regency, Bojo District, South Sulawesi Province. The objectives of this activity are to: (1) Increase teachers' knowledge in managing LMS-based online learning; (2) Increase teachers' awareness and knowledge about the importance of multimodal learning management; (3) Increase teachers' insights, abilities, and skills in utilizing moodle LMS-based web learning management; and (4) Reduce the number of teachers who do not use blended learning in this 21st century computing era. Partner problems are: (1) the lack of knowledge of junior high school teachers in processing LMS-based online learning; (2) the absence of LMS facilities managed by the school; and (3) the lack of digital-based teacher learning tools even though the current era is a digital era. The method used is counseling and teaching, discussion, and training in collaboration between the implementer and the first partner. This method was carried out to all teachers of SMP Negeri 25 Barru and Mathematics Teachers who joined MGMP Mathematics SMP Barru district, who were trained for 1 day face-to-face and mentored through WA groups and then gradual evaluation and monitoring were carried out periodically for 2 months. The results obtained are: (1) Teachers' knowledge in managing LMS-based online learning is getting better; (2) Teachers' awareness and knowledge about the importance of learning management. (3) Teachers' insights, abilities, and skills in utilizing moodle LMS-based web learning management; and (4) The number of teachers implementing blended learning has increased, (5) teachers have had virtual classes as a complement to conventional classroom-based classes, so that teachers can teach their students without being limited by space and time, meaning that teachers can teach students according to the place and time provided by their students to learn when outside school hours. Abstrak Kegiatan Ipteks bagi Masyarakat dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 25 Barru Kabupaten Barru Kecamatan Bojo, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk: (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran online berbasis LMS; (2) Meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan pada guru tentang pentingnya pengelolaan pembelajaran multimoda; (3) Meningkatkan wawasan, kemampuan, dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan mengelola web learning berbasis LMS moodle; dan (4) Mengurangi jumlah guru yang tidak menggunakan blended learning di era komputasi abad 21 ini. Permasalahan mitra adalah: (1) Kurangnya pengetahuan guru SMP dalam pengolahan pembelajaran online berbasis LMS; (2) tidak adanya fasilitas LMS yang dikelola oleh pihak sekolah; dan (3) kurangnya perangkat pembelajaran guru berbasis digital padahal era saat ini adalah era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan pengajaran, diskusi, dan pelatihan secara kolaborasi antara pelaksana dengan mitra pertama. Metode ini dilaksanakan kepada semua guru SMP Negeri 25 Barru dan Guru Matematika yang bergabung pada MGMP Matematika SMP kabupaten barru, yang dilatih selama 1 hari tatap muka dan dilakukan pendampingan melalui grup WA dan selanjutnya evaluasi bertahap dan monitoring dilakukan secara berkala selama 2 bulan. Hasil yang diperolah adalah: (1) Pengetahuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran online berbasis LMS semakin baik; (2) Kesadaran dan pengetahuan pada guru tentang pentingnya pengelolaan pembelajaran multimoda; (3) Wawasan, kemampuan, dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan mengelola web learning berbasis LMS moodle; dan (4) Jumlah guru yang melaksanakan pembelajaran secara blended bertambah, (5) guru telah memiliki kelas virtual sebagai pelengkap kelas konvensional berbasis kelas, sehingga guru-guru dapat membelajarkan siswanya tanpa dibatasi lagi oleh ruang dan waktu, artinya guru-guru dapat membelajarkan siswa sesuai dengan tempat dan waktu yang disediakan oleh siswanya untuk belajar saat dilaur jam sekolah.

Abstract

The training was held in the Meeting Room of Manimbahoi Village, Parigi District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province on August 6, 2023. The participants of the training were Manimbahoi Village officials, with the aim of understanding the importance of data to be published and also as an effort to educate village officials regarding data literacy. This service activity for Manimbahoi Village officials, in an effort to educate data literacy, runs smoothly, as expected. This can be seen from the increase in the ability and knowledge of village officials from not knowing about website management and publishing village news. Using this knowledge, village data can be published on village websites. Abstrak Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di Ruang Pertemuan Desa Manimbahoi, Kecamatan Parigi, Kabupaten Gowa, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan pada tanggal 6 Agustus 2023. Peserta dari pelatihan ini adalah aparat Desa Manimbahoi, dengan tujuan agar aparat desa tersebut paham mengenai pentingnya data untuk dipublikasikan dan juga sebagai upaya untuk edukasi aparat desa terkait literasi data. Kegiatan pengabdian untuk aparat Desa Manimbahoi ini sebagai upaya untuk edukasi literasi data berjalan lancer dan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Hal ini terlihat terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan dan pengetahuan aparat desa dari tidak tahu menjadi tahu pengelolaan website dan penerbitan berita desa. Dengan adanya pengetahuan ini maka data-data desa dapat dipublikasikan di website desa.

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve the ability of teachers to utilize ICT and make ICT-based learning media. The activities carried out include material presentation and practice of making learning media. In the material presentation, the teachers were provided with information about the forms of learning media and the use of ICT in making learning media. In the practical activity, the teachers were guided to make learning media in the form of bulletins and integrate character education into the bulletins. The learning media in the form of bulletins made by teachers is integrated with character education, therefore the learning media made is called BICE (Bulletin Integrated Character Education) learning media. The results of the activity show that the activities carried out can improve the ability of teachers to utilize ICT and create ICT-based learning media through BICE. The ability of teachers in this case increased from the Poor category to the good category. Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan ICT dan membuat media pembelajaran berbasis ICT. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan meliputi penyampaian materi dan praktek pembuatan media pembelajaran. Pada penyampaian materi, para guru dibekali dengan informasi mengenai bentuk-bentuk media pembelajaran dan pemanfaatan ICT dalam membuat media pembelajaran. Pada kegiatan praktek, para guru dibimbing untuk membuat media pembelajaran dalam bentuk bulletin dan mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter di dalam bulletin tersebut. Media pembelajaran dalam bentuk bulletin yang dibuat oleh guru diintegrasikan dengan pendidikan karakter oleh karena itu media pembelajaran yang dibuat disebut dengan media pembelajaran BICE (Bulletin Integrated Character Education). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan ICT dan membuat media pembelajaran berbasis ICT melalui BICE. Kemampuan guru dalam hal ini meningkat dari kategori cukup baik menjadi kategori baik.
