Abstract

This study examines the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) at SMA Negeri 3 Kepulauan Aru with the aim of evaluating the planning, implementation, and development of educational activities at the school. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews with the principal, teachers, and school committee as well as a review of documents related to school planning, curriculum, and learning activities. The results of the study indicate that educational activity planning is carried out through the preparation of the School Development Plan (RPS) and involves various related parties. The curriculum implemented includes the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum, adjusted to the school's vision and mission. However, several obstacles were still found in the implementation, including limited teaching staff and lack of attention to extracurricular activities. Supervision by the principal is carried out routinely to ensure the quality of learning and improve teacher professionalism. Overall, SMA Negeri 3 Kepulauan Aru has implemented SBM, but there is room for improvement in terms of community involvement and optimization of learning activities.

Abstract

Community Service (known with PkM) activities were carried out by providing training to teachers in North West Seram District, Central Maluku Regency. This activity aims to provide insight into the development of teacher professionalism, more specifically how deep the application of Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) in learning activities in schools. The activity was carried out through direct face-to-face meetings with teachers. The results of this service are known that teachers gain a lot of knowledge about strategies for connecting learning with a cultural background and referring to the level of student ability. In addition, more than 100 teachers were satisfied with the activities carried out, which were based on the level of student knowledge with the TaRL approach using the problem-based learning model. The teachers hope that the PkM Team can continue to provide assistance so that the implementation of learning activities in the classroom can run well. This is because TaRL is a new method for teachers in remote areas so that it requires adjustments in implementation in learning

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the pattern of education. Especially with the Independent Learning Program, teachers are required to be creative and innovative, teachers must create a happy atmosphere in learning. One way is to develop learning media that makes students enthusiastic in learning online. Learning videos are audio-visual media as a teacher's tool in delivering material to make it easy for students to understand and the Canva application that can support learning materials to be more interesting. The purpose of this service is to improve the quality of teachers by developing learning media according to the independent learning program. This service is carried out offline at SD N 1 and 3 Waimital. The result of this training is that teachers are able to develop video-based learning media because it really helps clarify subject matter so that teachers can implement the Independent Learning Program

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep matematis adalah kemampuan siswa dalam menemukan dan menjelaskan, menerjemahkan, menafsirkan dan menyimpulkan suatu konsep matematis berdasarkan pembentukan sendiri, bukan hanya sekedar menghafal. sehingga mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan, dalam hal ini pada pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekrispikan pemahaman konsep matematis pada materi fungsi di kelas X SMA Kartika XIII 1 Ambon. Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualititatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 3 subjek yang diambil berdasarkan hasil tes awal yang diberikan oleh guru kemudian dikelompokan dalam 3 kategori yaitu kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah berdasarkan kriteria dari guru. Selanjutnya, diambil 1 orang dari setiap kategori yang ada untuk melakukan tes pemahaman konsep matematis pada materi fungsi dengan ketentuan bahwa ke-3 subjek memiliki kemampuan komunikasi yang baik dan mampu memberi tanggapan pada tahapan wawancara setelah mengerjakan soal fungsi yang diberikan oleh peneliti. Dari ketiga subjek berdasarkan hasil wawancara ditemukan bahwa subjek dengan kategori tinggi cenderung memiliki kemampuan indikator pemahaman konsep yang baik dibanding dengan subjek kategori sedang begitu pula subjek dengan kategori sedang cenderung memiliki pemahaman konsep yang cukup baik dibanding dengan subjek dengan kategori rendah yang memiliki pemahaman konsep yang kurang baik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar persamaan linier satu variabel. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex post facto dengan mengambil sampel dari kelas VII-1 SMP Negeri 20 Ambon sebanyak 25 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket motivasi belajar dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 22 yang terdiri dari analisis deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan analisis regresi sederhana, karena hanya memiliki satu varibel bebas dan satu variabel terikat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar persamaan linier satu variabel pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 20 Ambon

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kelas X MIA1 dan X MIA2 SMA Negeri 3 Maluku Tengah tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah koesioner dan dokumentasi. Data hasil analisis faktor dalam penelitian ini adalah dari 5 faktor yaitu faktor kesehatan, kecerdasan, minat, motivasi dan cara belajar yang mempengaruhi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Maluku Tengah adalah faktor minat. Dalam hal ini ketertarikan siswa dalam pelajaran matematika masih perlu diperhatikan untuk meningkatkan minat siswa

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep dalam pembelajaran matematika menjadi salah satu bagian penting yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap siswa. Namun, nyatanya masih terdapat siswa yang kesulitan dalam memahami suatu konsep. Salah satu alat sederhana yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur dan menentukan sejauh mana level pemahaman konsep siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu taksonomi SOLO. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep siswa berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO pada materi bilang pecahan kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Ambon. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang didukung dengan data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa dengan kategori subjek tinggi berada pada level extended abstract. kategori subjek sedang berada pada level multistructural, sedangkan kategori subjek rendah berada pada level prestructural

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahapan, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas VII yang memiliki kemampuan awal setara, yaitu kelas VII-1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan rata-rata penilaian umum sebesar 3,44, Modul Ajar 3,55, Bahan Ajar 3,33, dan Lembar Kerja Siswa 3,72, yang seluruhnya memenuhi kriteria kevalidan (≥ 2,50). Kepraktisan perangkat ditunjukkan oleh respons positif guru sebesar 83,3% dan siswa 82,3%, melampaui batas kepraktisan (≥ 70%). Keefektifan perangkat dibuktikan melalui hasil uji signifikansi (sig = 0,001 < α = 0,05) yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dengan perangkat berbasis kearifan lokal lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika karena terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Identify the evaluation needs of teacher training programs within the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Maluku and North Maluku Provinces; (2) Analyze the factors that influence evaluation needs in the context of the island provinces; and (3) Describe the evaluation practices that have been implemented and examine the extent to which these practices meet the identified evaluation needs. The method used in this study is qualitative. The subjects in this study were two teachers. The data collection techniques used were non-test methods, including interviews and document analysis. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely: (1) Data Reduction, (2) Data Display, and (3) Conclusion Drawing and data verification. The results of the study indicate that (1) Teachers within the Ministry of Religious Affairs require systematic, continuous and comprehensive evaluation of training programs; (2) The need for teacher training evaluation is significantly influenced by the context of the island region such as geographical factors, limited electricity and internet infrastructure, and sea transportation constraints that affect the implementation and evaluation models that can be applied and (3) Current teacher training evaluation practices are still oriented towards process evaluation and participant satisfaction. The research findings are expected to provide contextual recommendations for developing teacher-training evaluation models that are relevant to the characteristics of the Maluku and North Maluku regions, as well as further strengthening the evaluation system within the Ministry of Religion.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes the importance of deep learning as an effort to enhance students’ conceptual understanding, particularly in mathematics education. However, its implementation in elementary schools still faces various challenges, especially related to teachers’ limited understanding in designing and conducting meaningful learning experiences. This community service program aims to improve the pedagogical competencies of elementary school teachers in Ambon City through training and mentoring on the implementation of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) as an approach to achieving deep learning. The program consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection. The implementation methods included lectures, question-and-answer sessions, discussions, and guided discovery practices. The results show an improvement in teachers’ understanding of deep learning through the application of RME in mathematics teaching, particularly in the domains of number and geometry. The training was rated highly in terms of participant enthusiasm throughout the process and based on satisfaction questionnaire responses. Teachers are expected to design deep learning activities that apply RME principles, involving students as active learning agents, incorporating students’ real-life experiences, and encouraging further exploration and mathematical reasoning. Thus, this program provides a positive contribution to the improvement of the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools and supports the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Ambon City.
