Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which a child's growth becomes shorter than children of his age due to a chronic lack of nutritional intake in the first one thousand days of a child's life from birth, due to diet, parenting, and sanitation. Women who are not physically fit enough to be married are more likely to have children who are short for their age. Insufficient knowledge about the causes and consequences of child stunting due to early marriage. However, adolescent understanding of the significance of reproductive health as a provision in reducing stunting is also a provision. The purpose of this research is to ascertain whether or not teenagers in Pabean Village are aware of the link between early marriage and child stunting, as well as the significance of providing adolescents with reproductive health education from a young age. Using a questionnaire with a pre- and post-test methodology, the researchers were able to determine the average number of respondents who understood the information before and after being socialized on the topics of early marriage and teenage reproductive health. After averaging everything out, the researchers found that locals of Customs knew 42.5 percent more about the link between early marriage and stunting and adolescent reproductive health education, and that 33.3 percent fewer men and 52.5 percent fewer women were interested in getting married young. Keywords: Socialization of Early Marriage, Stunting, Adolescent Reproductive Health Stunting adalah kondisi di mana pertumbuhan anak ketika dibandingkan anak pada usianya akan lebih pendek karena kurangnya asupan gizi kronis dalam seribu hari pertama kehidupan anak sejak lahir, yang disebabkan oleh pola makan, pengasuhan, dan sanitasi. Perempuan yang tidak cukup sehat secara fisik untuk menikah lebih cenderung memiliki anak yang pendek untuk usianya. Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang penyebab dan konsekuensi dari stunting pada anak akibat pernikahan dini. Namun, pemahaman remaja tentang pentingnya kesehatan reproduksi sebagai bekal dalam mengurangi stunting juga menjadi bekal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni menelaah apakah remaja di Desa Pabean mengetahui hubungan antara pernikahan dini dan stunting pada anak, serta pentingnya memberikan pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi pada remaja sejak dini. Dengan penggunaan kuesioner yang dilakukan secara pre-test dan post-test, para peneliti dapat menentukan rata-rata jumlah responden yang memahami informasi sebelum dan sesudah disosialisasikan tentang topik pernikahan dini dan kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Setelah menghitung rata-rata, para peneliti menemukan bahwa penduduk lokal Pabean mengetahui 42,5 persen lebih banyak tentang hubungan antara pernikahan dini dan stunting serta pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi remaja, dan 33,3 persen lebih sedikit laki-laki dan 52,5 persen lebih sedikit perempuan yang tertarik untuk menikah muda. Abstract

Self-medication behaviors of the society kept increasing as years passed, including for the residents of Desa Pengalangan, Kecamatan Menganti, Kabupaten Gresik. Over-the-counter medicines, the ones that can be obtained without a prescription, have been a prior solution to relieve the symptoms of various diseases. Unfortunately, the consumption of these medicines is not accompanied by proficient knowledge of how to manage medicines properly. Consequently, the health of the community and environment are negatively affected. Therefore, it is considered crucial to educate society as a form of approach made for promoting public health and preventing the irrational usage of medicines. Socialization of the ‘DAGUSIBU' (dapatkan, gunakan, simpan, dan buang) [eng: get, use, store, and dispose] of medicines through a session of interactive mini-lecture and simulation, has been chosen to be the proper modality to deliver such information about managing medicines. About 21 health cadres of Desa Pengalangan are involved in this program, fulfilling the pretests and post-tests as instruments to determine the level of knowledge of the society about medicines. Based on the result of this program, it is noted that an average of 80.9% participants' level of knowledge increases after socialization. Highest increase in the level of knowledge is reported in the topics ‘Golongan obat' [eng: drug's classes] (85,7%) and ‘DAGUSIBU obat' (85,7%), while the topic ‘Penggunaan antibiotik' [eng: antibiotic usage] (71,4%) becomes the topic with the least increase in the level of knowledge. Though these findings seem in line with the previous studies, innovations are required to optimize the increase of society's level of knowledge in managing medicines.

Abstract

The aim of this service is to improve the economic level of the Cement Village community through product photo training and online marketing. The method used is participatory action research (PAR), which actively involves the community in every stage of its implementation. Based on the data collected, the development of MSMEs in Cement Village has not been stable due to the lack of adequate forums and support for MSME actors. Therefore, the training provided covers various important aspects, such as creating logos, product photos, business identity numbers (NIB), halal certification, and online marketing. The results of the questionnaire show that online marketing and product photos are the topics most interesting to MSMEs. After attending training, MSME players succeeded in having a logo and product photo, which is the first step before proceeding to online marketing. The media used in online marketing training are popular platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WA Business. With this program, it is hoped that the people of Cement Village can be more advanced in marketing their products effectively so that they can improve the local economy significantly.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the impact of Discovery Learning model combined with Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) method on students' learning motivation in the one of inclusion class at SMAN 10 Surabaya. This study used a Collaborative Classroom Action Research (CCAR) approach with the Kurt Lewin model. This model contain of four stages, among them are: plan, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects on this research were 36 learners, including 4 learners with special needs. The results be seen that in cycle I, the implementation of Discovery Learning had not fully increased students' learning motivation. However, after improvements were made in cycle II by integrating the STAD method, there was a very significant improvement in motivation indicators, especially in the aspect of tenacity in facing difficulties. The mode score of learning motivation increased from 2 to 3 on this indicator, indicating a high learning motivation category. In addition, cognitive learning outcomes also improved, with 69.4% of students achieving learning completeness according to school criteria. Therefore, in summary that the Discovery Learning strategy combined with the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) method is effective to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of inclusion class students.

Abstract

Abstract−LPG gas is a widely used fuel for daily needs in households, industry, and commercial sectors. Although easy to use and affordable, LPG contains highly flammable compounds that can cause fires and explosions, especially if leaks go undetected. Field surveys show that most gas agents or depots still use manual methods relying on the sense of smell to detect gas leaks. This approach does not provide optimal or accurate results, making it ineffective and potentially harmful to health when excessive gas is inhaled. Therefore, this research aims to design a gas leak detection system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using the Fuzzy Tsukamoto algorithm integrated with the Blynk application. The method involves the design of hardware and software using three sensors as input parameters: MQ-6 (gas), DHT22 (temperature), and Flame Sensor (fire), which are processed by the ESP32 microcontroller through fuzzy logic rules. The system outputs include a visual LED indicator, buzzer activation, status display on the LCD, notifications via Blynk, and automatic fan response to neutralize the gas. Based on results simulation and testing under three environmental condition scenarios, the system is able to detect gas leaks with average error of 0.315% and accuracy of 90.55%. This study demonstrates a reliable, effective, and responsive gas leak detection system. It is expected that the system can minimize the potential dangers of gas leaks and enhance gas storage safety.

Abstract

Student management plays a crucial role in organizing students’ daily activities and shaping their disciplinary character in Islamic boarding schools that implement a 24-hour education system. This study aims to determine the implementation of student management, the level of students’ disciplinary character, and the contribution of student management to the development of disciplinary character. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, linearity testing, simple linear regression, and the coefficient of determination. The sample consisted of 85 students. The results show that the average score of the student management variable is 4.16 (high category), while the disciplinary character variable is 4.33 (very high category). The coefficient of determination of 0.335 indicates that student management contributes 33.5% to students’ disciplinary character, while the remaining 66.5% is influenced by other factors beyond this study.

Abstract

Aktivitas pembakaran lahan yang terjadi di Sumatera Selatan, akibatnya sejumlah wilayah di sekitarnya dilanda kabut asap termasuk Kota Palembang, Hal tersebut dapat berdampak pada kualitas udara yang semakin memburuk. Udara merupakan unsur penting bagi kehidupan sehingga udara harus memiliki indeks yang baik agar tidak menimbulkan dampak negative bagi kesehatan tubuh. Selain asap pembakaran, terdapat factor lain yang berpengaruh pada kualitas udara seperti asap asap rokok, asap pembakaran sampah, asap kendaraan bermotor, asap pabrik dll. Karna itu sangat diperlukan nya sebuah sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk memantau kualitas udara disekitar. Atas dasar hal tersebut maka penulisan kali ini akan membahas tentang alat pemantauan kualitas udara yang portable dan mempermudah bagi penggunanya untuk monitoring kualitas udara secara berkala. Dalam project ini digunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai komponen utama yang dapat menghubungkan ke bahasa pemrograman, Selain itu digunakan tiga sensor untuk mengukur kualitas udara yaitu Sensor DHT11 untuk suhu dan kelembapan, Sensor MQ-135 untuk gas dan Dust Sensor untuk partikel debu. Kemudian komponen buzzer yang digunakan sebagai komponen output. Project ini akan menghasilkan suatu alat pemantau kualitas udara berbasis IoT yang dihubungkan ke aplikasi blynk sehingga keluaran nya akan menampilkan notifikasi dari aplikasi tersebut dan juga memiliki hasil keluaran bunyi yang dikeluarkan oleh buzzer ketika pembacaan sensor yang diukur melewati batas normal atau standarnya
