Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out how organizational culture and climate affect student discipline in schools or educational institutions. This study uses a literature study method. Disciplined character must be instilled when children are at school. If the school has a good social environment and maintains the value of discipline, students will also develop into disciplined and responsible personalities. To foster this discipline value, all school residents must also apply the value of discipline in themselves, starting from the principal, teachers, staff and other educational professionals. A conducive and calm organizational climate and climate will affect the attitude of discipline in students. The culture or climate in schools will affect the process and also the results of student education at school. In the school environment, teachers play an important role in creating conditions that foster character values. Teacher behavior influences students' personalities by creating an environment in schools with values such as character building, independence and integrity.

Abstract

Teacher participation in decision-making is a crucial element in the effective development of school organizations. This article aims to analyze the role of teachers in school decision-making processes and their impact on educational management effectiveness. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study technique from various relevant sources. The findings indicate that teacher involvement in school policy formulation contributes to increased work motivation, collaboration among educators, and innovation in teaching methods. Additionally, a participatory approach fosters a more conducive and harmonious work environment. However, several challenges remain in its implementation, such as centralized leadership systems, time constraints, and a lack of participatory leadership training. To overcome these obstacles, strategies such as fostering an inclusive school culture, collaborative leadership training, and utilizing technology in decision-making processes are required. With the proper implementation of these strategies, teacher participation can be optimized to enhance school organizational effectiveness and overall education quality.

Abstract

Effective communication plays an important role in improving teacher performance in schools. The purpose of this study is to understand strategies in improving effective communication in order to improve teacher performance. The research method used is a literature study by collecting, reviewing, and describing various scientific sources such as academic journals, books, and articles that discuss communication in the world of education and its influence on the performance of educators. The results of this study show that communication strategies such as open communication, two-way communication, utilization of technology, and interpersonal communication training contribute vitally to increasing teacher motivation and professionalism. The principal has a major role in building a pleasant school environment, listening to teacher aspirations, and providing constructive feedback. This study concludes that good communication strategies have a positive impact on teacher performance, increase collaboration between educators, and create a more effective learning environment.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sistem administrasi keuangan berbasis digital di lembaga pendidikan, mengingat pentingnya digitalisasi dalam administrasi keuangan di era modern15. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian literatur, dengan menelaah berbagai buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah untuk mendapatkan gambaran komprehensif tentang teori, konsep, dan praktik terkait12. Data sekunder dari sumber-sumber relevan dalam 10 tahun terakhir dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi tren, tantangan, dan strategi dalam adopsi teknologi pendidikan34. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi keuangan, yang mencakup pengelolaan, pencatatan, perencanaan, penggunaan, dan pertanggungjawaban keuangan, sangat penting untuk efisiensi dan efektivitas pencapaian tujuan organisasi45. Artikel ini diharapkan memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai administrasi keuangan berbasis digital dan implikasinya dalam meningkatkan kualitas Pendidikan.

Abstract

Educational supervision is a crucial aspect in improving the quality of teaching and learning in schools. Optimal teacher performance relies heavily on their ability to implement effective and innovative teaching methods, which can be achieved through educational supervision. This article aims to discuss the meaning, importance, and role of educational supervision in enhancing teacher performance. Through a literature review, this article analyzes various concepts of educational supervision as presented by several experts, including the objectives, functions, and types of supervision that can be applied in schools. Academic supervision and clinical supervision are two commonly used types of supervision, each having different goals and approaches in supporting teachers' professional development. The findings indicate that educational supervision serves not only as a monitoring tool but also as a strategy for empowerment that helps teachers identify problems, improve competencies, and enhance overall teaching quality. With the right approach, supervision can create a more conducive learning environment, increase teacher motivation, and ultimately contribute to achieving better educational outcomes.

Abstract

This article presents a literature review on the issue of transparency in school public relations administration, especially in the management of diplomas in West Sumatra. Based on several references that have been reviewed, it was found that the manual method of diploma management and the lack of information system integration contributed to the low level of transparency. In addition, the role of public relations in conveying information to the public is considered suboptimal, which has implications for difficulties in monitoring and verifying data. This review aims to identify obstacles and provide recommendations for improvement to increase the accountability and efficiency of school public relations administration.

Abstract

The school library holds a crucial role in fostering students’ reading interest. Effective and innovative library management is essential in creating an environment that encourages reading habits. This study aims to explore various school library management strategies that can enhance students’ interest in reading. The research employs a literature review method by examining relevant sources such as academic journals, books, and research reports. Findings indicate that successful management strategies include providing engaging and relevant reading materials, arranging the library space to be comfortable and inspiring, integrating information technology into library services, and implementing creative literacy programs that actively involve students. Moreover, collaboration among librarians, teachers, and parents is vital in cultivating a reading culture within the school community. With the application of optimal library management strategies, students’ reading interest can significantly increase, ultimately contributing to the overall quality of education.

Abstract

A good and maximum archive management system will provide optimal information services in the school administration section. This study aims to analyze and analyze the archive management system in supporting information services in the school administration section. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a literature review design, involving collecting and analyzing various academic sources, such as journals and indexed articles from Google Scholar, Scopus, and SINTA as well as other relevant documents. Data were collected through library literature and journals that are relevant to the study. The results of the study indicate that the archive management system will have a very large impact on information services in the school administration section in carrying out education management.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the author's observations that indicate the ineffectiveness of administrative staff services in schools. The purpose of this study is to obtain data and information about the effectiveness of school administrative staff services from: 1) program success 2) target success 3) satisfaction with the program 4) input and output levels 5) achievement of overall objectives. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The research population is 175 public junior high school teachers in Bayang District. Meanwhile, the research sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique totaling 65 teachers. The research instrument used is a Likert scale questionnaire with five answer choices that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis show that the effectiveness of school administrative staff services from: 1) program success is in the effective category with a respondent achievement rate of 86.48%, 2) target success is in the effective category with a respondent achievement rate of 86.15%, 3) satisfaction with the program is in the effective category with a respondent achievement rate of 87.66%, 4) input and output levels are in the effective category with a respondent achievement rate of 86.84% and 5) achievement of overall objectives is in the effective category with a respondent achievement rate of 86.87%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the services of school administrative staff in Public Junior High Schools throughout Bayang District have shown effective services.

Abstract

Koreksi dan pencegahan terhadap lemahnya peraturan harus segera diatasi dan dilakukan oleh semua komponen yang terlibat dalam organisasi. Karena melemahnya disiplin kerja dalam organisasi akan secara langsung mempengaruhi moral pegawai maupun terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan 1) Disiplin Kerja Pegawai Di Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Tanah Datar yang berjumlah 53 orang dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang dipilih dengan random sampling sebanyak 50 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket. Data di analisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dengan persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil 1) Disiplin Kerja Pegawai dari aspek kehadiran berada pada kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 4,03 dan nilai TCR 80,56%, 2) Disiplin Kerja Pegawai dari aspek waktu kerja berada pada kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 3,97 dan nilai TCR 79,47%, 3) Disiplin Kerja Pegawai dari aspek kepatuhan terhadap perintah berada pada kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 3,96 dan nilai TCR 79,20%, 4) Disiplin Kerja Pegawai dari aspek kepatuhan terhadap aturan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 4,01 dan nilai TCR 80,20%, 5) Disiplin Kerja Pegawai kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 3,96 dan nilai TCR 79,24%, 6) Disiplin Kerja Pegawai dari aspek pemakaian seragam berada pada kategori cukup dengan skor rata-rata 3,84 dan nilai TCR 76,80% dan 7) Secara keseluruhan Disiplin Kerja Pegawai berada pada kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 3,96 dengan nilai TCR 79,24%.
