Abstract

SMK Prajnaparamita Malang is a private vocational school that has expertise programs in hospitality accommodation, beauty and pharmacy. During the pandemic, this SMK must carry out the online teaching and learning process using several learning platforms at once. The use of multiple platforms at once makes it difficult for teachers and students because they have to adapt to the platforms used. This study aims to design a user experience of a learning management system that contains all the features of the platform that was previously used using the Design Thinking Method. Design Thinking has 5 stages, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test. The solution design that has been made will then be tested using the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) to determine the usability value of the user interface design created by the researcher. The purpose of making this PSSUQ questionnaire is to find out what users feel after using the solution design and whether the solution design has solved the user's problem. The results of the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) resulted in a score on the overall subscale obtained a score of 1.81, system usability obtained a value of 1.87, information quality obtained a value of 1.97 and interface quality obtained a value of 1.49. This value indicates if the system is good and satisfies the user in terms of usability, information quality and the quality of the user interface display.

Abstract

Online meeting activities are carried out by some people because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Meeting activities that should be done in person can be done using online meetings. There are several applications to conduct online meeting activities, one of the applications that has many users, namely ZOOM. The application has a high level of use because of the many features and the use of features is quite easy. Among some of the features provided by ZOOM, a feature that is often used by the public is the virtual background feature. The use of virtual background by the public is usually to attend online meetings, scientific seminars, organizing events, and other events by making virtual backgrounds between participants uniform. The use of virtual background uniforms in online meeting activities is also not yet known because events held online are usually tied to the use of virtual background uniforms. The data collection in this study was carried out qualitatively to active users of uniform virtual backgrounds by conducting semi-structured interviews. The results of the interview obtained are then analyzed using thematic analysis methods and obtained results related to background using and not using virtual background uniforms and how the speakers view online meeting activities using virtual background uniforms and do not use virtual background uniforms.

Abstract

The development of internet technology in the form of social media is a social network which is an online community that can allow users to be connected to each other. Traditionally, a community is a social group consisting of organisms that share the same environment and have the same attraction. The problem examined in this study is that members in the community have not yet established a closeness that encourages members to meet directly. In the study using Self Disclosure Theory to help answer the formulation of the problem. The purpose of the study was to determine the closeness of members to encourage face-to-face meetings and to know the role of technology. Data was collected qualitatively to members of the online community using the interview method. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed using the coding analysis method which is included in the thematic analysis. The result of the research is the closeness of the members taken from the trust and intimacy factor according to the Self Disclosure theory. And the ease of the role of technology that creates the closeness of members. So that it can encourage members to meet in person.

Abstract

The stress of technology or commonly called technostress is a form of stress when doing a job that links to a technology that can trigger stress. There are individual factors that can rise over technostress, which are mindfulness and self-cation. This technostress is usually within the employees' scope, where employees feel that abilities are not comparable to the technology used and therefore take more time to study the technology. So researchers aim to share new insights with the organization's managers in coping with the technostress negative effects on employees generated by technology use. The study, which also provides insight/prevention for employees to keep their technology in check, thus reducing the incidence of technostress in employees. The data collection technique performed on the application is using a questionnaire spread through social media. The population in this study is working employees of an organization that finishes its job using technology and samples used by 324. Data collection took place for two weeks starting on October 18, 2021. The data that had been collected was prepared to see if it was valid and reliable, after which it was analyzed. Abstract

PT. Adhi Persada Beton is a company that produces precast and ready mix concrete. This concrete production aims to meet the needs of precast concrete on projects handled by PT. Adi Karya. In the concrete testing process that was carried out there were several problems such as the slipping of test documents and the lack of efficiency in testing time. Nowadays, the development of technology is growing rapidly, which is companies need new innovations to improve their business process.Therefore, a solving the problem the researcher develop a web-based application.This web- based application has a function for recording test data carried out at the Adhi Persada Beton Factory. This system can help manufacturers to reduce paper usage, minimize data loss and save costs and digital storage so that test data can be easily tracked in the future for reuse. In this development using the Extreme Programming method with Codeigniter framework and MySQL as the database. This system testing using Black Box to test functionally system. The test result on this system indicate that all the functionalities contained in the system are declared valid.

Abstract

Service is any activity or benefit offered by one party to another and is essentially intangible and does not result in ownership of anything (Kotler, 2005). In the city of Malang, Redd One Digital is a service provider that works with event organizers. This department collaborates using technology by offering RSVP digital invitations and digital guest books. This department is one of the business actors who carry out a pivot strategy by providing information services towards digital technology such as making online invitations that can be used for various events. However, since Redd One Digital has implemented a pivot strategy, until now, Redd One Malang's digital invitation service has not evaluated the quality level of the digital invitations they have made. Based on this description, it is necessary to conduct an assessment of service quality using Service Quality and determine the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) quadrant grouping. From the results of my research and analysis on the quality of services provided by Redd One Digital Malang, there are a total of 11 attributes that need improvement based on the attributes contained in the first and third quadrants of the Importance Performance Analysis.

Abstract

E-commerce has recently been favored by both large and small businesses. This is because promotion through online media or digital marketing is easier to reach consumers in terms of introducing or selling their products so it is very helpful for business people. This study aims to determine the impact of using e-commerce on SMEs. Data collection for this study was carried out using a semi-structured interview method to MSME business actors who have used e-commerce to sell their products. From the interview data that has been carried out, then analyzed using the thematic analysis method, which is a method of analyzing data to identify patterns and find topics based on data collected by researchers (Braun and Clarke, 2006). The result is that several categories explain how MSMEs use e-commerce, namely individual features or individual abilities, reasons for not using other e-commerce than those currently used, several obstacles such as infrastructure, technology, promotion, and unpleasant experiences that experienced by MSME business actors when using e-commerce.

Abstract

This time, various kinds of activities can be carried out more easily because of the rapid development of technology. The example is when communicating between humans in the world, communication activities can be carried out more easily by using online meeting applications such as Zoom and Google Meet. The application is widely used to conduct video conferences or online meetings because it is easy to use and also had some of interesting features. One of the interesting feature is the feature to change the background of the user's camera view. The feature to change the background is widely used during webinars, work meetings, distance learning, or during other activities that use video conferencing applications or online meetings. In this study, a qualitative analysis will be carried out to determine the background of the use of uniform backgrounds in online meetings and also the views of the online meeting committee on the use of uniform backgrounds. This study involved 21 sources to collect data using interviews. The data that has been collected will be processed using the thematic coding analysis method. From the results of this study, it was found that there were five aspects that became the view of the online meeting committee on the use of uniform backgrounds and six aspects behind the use of uniform virtual backgrounds.

Abstract

Google Meet and Zoom are video conferencing applications that are widely used during the COVID-19 pandemic as an alternative in conducting online activities. Both have differences in features and appearance which certainly make the user experience different. According to this, a study was conducted to compare the long-term user experience on the Google Meet and Zoom applications using the UX Curve method. There are 10 respondents for each application who are active students in the organization. Respondents describe their experiences in a UX curve template with 5 dimensions or points of view: general UX, attractiveness, ease of use, utility, and degree of use. Based on data collection, 50 curves were obtained for each Google Meet and Zoom application. The number of improving curve tendencies generated against Google Meet is more than Zoom, but on the other hand the curve is deteriorating and stable. This shows that Google Meet users are more satisfied with Google Meet, compared to Zoom users towards Zoom itself. This is supported by the percentage of positive reasons obtained for Google Meet, which is 75.2%, while for Zoom it is 73.6%. In addition, the Zoom application is proven to leave more impressions and experiences for users with a greater number of user reasons than Google Meet.

Abstract

Social media began to be used by government agencies in Indonesia to spread information to the public. Following the establishment of Presidential degree No. 9 of 2015 on the management of public communication, government agencies have used social media as one of its communication channels.The study aims to analyze the use of government agencies' social media accounts in conducting two-way communication with the public.This is mainly to discuss how government agencies utilize social media in the digital age.Qualitative approaches with observations are taken for data collection. Data analysis uses study theory by Daniel Schlagwein 2016 for conclusions.The results indicate that social media can increase interactivity between the government and the public but the city government has not used it to its fullest.
