Abstract

The article discusses the development of word square media in learning vocabulary for students. RnD model of researchers according to ADDIE. This study is a data analysis technique with descriptive analysis. Used to analyze data from questionnaire calculations and the results of interviews conducted. So that the data used in the study are grouped into 2, namely qualitative and quantitative data. Then it is analyzed descriptively to determine the suitability and quality of the product developed. The results of the research conducted obtained the results that word square media in learning vocabulary in students is very feasible to use. This is evidenced by the results of media expert validation by obtaining an average percentage result of 89.23% with the criteria of "very worthy". And it is also proven by the results of media trials with 19 students with the results of the evaluation of the developed word square media obtaining an overall score percentage of 86.63% with the criteria of "very worthy". Based on the results of data acquisition, it shows that word square media in learning vocabulary in students is very feasible to be used in the process of teaching English vocabulary. Abstract

This article aims to develop interactive powerpoint-based English learning media for grade XI students of MAN 1 East Lampung. This research method is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. ADDIE research stages include analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research instrument is an interview sheet, validation sheet, student and teacher response questionnaire. This research data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. Qualitative descriptive analysis was conducted on the results of interviews. Quantitative descriptive analysis was carried out on the results of expert validation and student and teacher response questionnaires. Based on the analysis conducted, the percentage of feasibility results from material experts was 92.5% with the criteria "very worthy", the validation results from language experts were 81.25% with the category "very worthy" and the validation results from media experts were 94.73% with the criteria "very worthy". And also evidenced by the results of the trial to students with a percentage of 85.108% with the criteria "very worthy" as well as a teacher response questionnaire which obtained a percentage of 96.66% with the category "very worthy". Based on the results of the data obtained, it shows that interactive powerpoint media is very worthy for use in the learning process. Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of observations, that the learning process in English subjects at SMK Ma'arif 5 Kotagajah has so far been teacher-centered and currently the teaching and learning process is that the teacher only uses the lecture method and uses only limited learning media by teachers and schools. This research aims to describe the procedures for developing pocket books, determine the validity of developing pocket books, and determine the effectiveness of developing pocket books as an English language learning medium at SMK Ma'arif 5 Kotagajah. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. This research uses a development model developed by Borg and Gall and the development model in this research uses a design from ADDIE. At the Development stage, this vocabulary pocket book was assessed for its suitability by material experts and media experts. The learning media validation results obtained a very valid category with a percentage of 92.2% by material experts and 91.4% by media experts. It can be concluded that research into the development of pocket books as a vocabulary learning medium is stated to be very strong when used as supporting teaching materials. Abstract

Many children who have not been able to master basic English vocabulary such as various colors, animals, fruits, and the alphabet Learning English must be done from an early age, one of the media that can be used to learn English is YouTube. YouTube is an interesting medium to use in the teaching and learning process of English. YouTube users are spread all over the world from various age groups, from early childhood to adults. One of the popular YouTube Channels among children is ChuChu TV. This study aims to analyze the use of ChuChu TV as a vocabulary-learning medium for early childhood. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study method. Researchers used observation and interviews as data collection techniques. Participants in this study were children aged 5 to 6 years in Purwosari, North Metro District, Metro City. The research results show that the use of the ChuChu TV YouTube Channel can improve English vocabulary in some early childhood students. Abstract

The article was to analyse Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Strategy Effective on student’s reading comprehensio, especially in recount text. This research was conducted at tenth grade in second semester at tenth grade SMA 10 Bandar Lampung The design of this research was quantitative research. The subject of this research was 32 students at tenth grade of SMA 10 Bandar Lampung. The result of the research showed that the significant influence was clarified by the assumption of the level of the coefficients correlation between Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Strategy and students’ reading comprehension which was signing positive. Directing to positive correlation means that if the level of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Strategy is high, the level of students’ reading comprehension is also high. In contrast, if the level of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Strategy is low, the level of students’ reading comprehension is also low. Moreover, based on the result of hypothesis testing result (table of correlations) demonstrated that r observed is higher than r table with N = 32, it can be looked at significant either for level 5 % or 1 %. In the table also demonstrated that the level of significant was 1,696 < 10,56 > 2,040. It means that the correlation between Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Strategy and students’ reading comprehension was significant. Abstract

Technology plays a very important role in today's learning process. Online learning is not an option anymore but an obligation that must be carried out, especially during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Hybrid learning is one of the online learning that is widely used at all levels of education. This research is the initial research from development research that will develop a hybrid learning model based on religious moderation values in the teaching media course. The respondents in this study were 89 students majoring in English education at Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Metro Lampung. The data was obtained through the results of the questionnaire. The result showed that the students needed a hybrid learning teaching material model based on religious moderation values in the teaching media course. It was evidenced by the results of the questionnaire, namely as many as 80% of students state that they need a hybrid learning teaching material model based on religious moderation values in the eyes of teaching media lectures. The Lack of utilization of learning media leads to lack of student interest in English lessons This study aims to describe the process of developing English learning media through animated videos and the quality of the results of learning animation video development trials. This research is a development research with the ADDIE model. The subjects involved in this study consisted of 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 3 students for individual trials and 33 students for group trials. The methods used for data collection in this study were interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation. As for the data analysis method using quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The process of developing English learning media through animated learning videos for grade 9 students goes through 4 stages, namely analysis, design, development, and implementation. The results of the material expert review showed a percentage result of 100% (very feasible), media experts showed a percentage result of 88% (very feasible), individual tests showed a percentage result of 88.6% (very feasible), and the results of the group test showed a percentage result of 85, 6% (very feasible). Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the development of English learning media through animated videos for grade 9 students of SMP Maarif Ansoru Al Hasaniyah, Rukti Basuki, Rumbia District, Central Lampung Regency is very feasible to use

The article aims to develop a learning media product in the form of pop up book media for reading comprehension in English, which is specifically designed for grade 10 students at Bangun Cipta Rumbia Senior High School. This research uses the RnD (Research and Development) method, with the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Based on assessments carried out using validity tests by experts, it shows that the product is suitable for use. The results of the validity test by media experts got a score of 92.5%, while the results of the validity test by material experts got a score of 95.0%, including the very decent category, and the results of the student response questionnaire got a score of 90.4% in the very good category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that pop up book media can improve the reading comprehension skills of grade 10 students. Pop-up books serve as a unique blend of art and education, offering a wealth of advantages that elevate the learning experience. By introducing elements of movement and animation, they transform reading from a static task into an interactive journey, sparking curiosity and keeping students engaged. As a result, pop-up books can help learners overcome obstacles in absorbing new material.
