Abstract

The Lack of utilization of learning media leads to lack of student interest in English lessons This study aims to describe the process of developing English learning media through animated videos and the quality of the results of learning animation video development trials. This research is a development research with the ADDIE model. The subjects involved in this study consisted of 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 3 students for individual trials and 33 students for group trials. The methods used for data collection in this study were interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation. As for the data analysis method using quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The process of developing English learning media through animated learning videos for grade 9 students goes through 4 stages, namely analysis, design, development, and implementation. The results of the material expert review showed a percentage result of 100% (very feasible), media experts showed a percentage result of 88% (very feasible), individual tests showed a percentage result of 88.6% (very feasible), and the results of the group test showed a percentage result of 85, 6% (very feasible). Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the development of English learning media through animated videos for grade 9 students of SMP Maarif Ansoru Al Hasaniyah, Rukti Basuki, Rumbia District, Central Lampung Regency is very feasible to use

Abstract

The article aims to develop a learning media product in the form of pop up book media for reading comprehension in English, which is specifically designed for grade 10 students at Bangun Cipta Rumbia Senior High School. This research uses the RnD (Research and Development) method, with the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Based on assessments carried out using validity tests by experts, it shows that the product is suitable for use. The results of the validity test by media experts got a score of 92.5%, while the results of the validity test by material experts got a score of 95.0%, including the very decent category, and the results of the student response questionnaire got a score of 90.4% in the very good category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that pop up book media can improve the reading comprehension skills of grade 10 students. Pop-up books serve as a unique blend of art and education, offering a wealth of advantages that elevate the learning experience. By introducing elements of movement and animation, they transform reading from a static task into an interactive journey, sparking curiosity and keeping students engaged. As a result, pop-up books can help learners overcome obstacles in absorbing new material.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of observations, that the learning process in English subjects at SMK Ma'arif 5 Kotagajah has so far been teacher-centered and currently the teaching and learning process is that the teacher only uses the lecture method and uses only limited learning media by teachers and schools. This research aims to describe the procedures for developing pocket books, determine the validity of developing pocket books, and determine the effectiveness of developing pocket books as an English language learning medium at SMK Ma'arif 5 Kotagajah. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. This research uses a development model developed by Borg and Gall and the development model in this research uses a design from ADDIE. At the Development stage, this vocabulary pocket book was assessed for its suitability by material experts and media experts. The learning media validation results obtained a very valid category with a percentage of 92.2% by material experts and 91.4% by media experts. It can be concluded that research into the development of pocket books as a vocabulary learning medium is stated to be very strong when used as supporting teaching materials. Abstract

Many people find it difficult to read the Qur'an, be it from children, teenagers, parents, from both men and women. When in fact the Qur'an is easy to learn and not difficult, provided that there is a will, seriousness and sincerity in studying it. The article aimed to find out how the tilawati method improve the students’ quality of Reading Qur’an. This study was a qualitative descriptive analysis with a research background at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Pembangunan Jakarta. Researchers made observations on the quality of students' reading of the Qur'an in learning, which included students' reading fluency, the ability to read the Qur'an using the correct rules of recitation law, and the ability to read and pronounce the letters according to their makhraj. The result show that The application of the Tilawati method in learning the Qur'an at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) The development of Jakarta is in accordance with the rules that have been mutually agreed upon by the Tilawati institution. The application of the Tilawati method is carried out in several stages, such as opening activities, core activities and closing activities. Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many people who are unable to read the Qur'an because they have not found t easy method of learning in reading Qur'an.. To overcome this problem, efforts from various parties are needed. For this reason, the teacher must ensure the right method and approach. Because the right method will guarantee the achievement of a greater and more comprehensive level of success. This research aims to improve the ability to read the Qur'an, introduce harakat, and the preparation of hijaiyah letters based on makharijul letters. The results of this research were obtained from observations, assessments that were tried twice, and interviews with children. Based on the analysis of information on children's activities above, it can be concluded that the dominant activity carried out is learning with the Baghdadi method, which is 30%, on the contrary, based on interviews, the Baghdadi method is very appropriate and interesting to use. So it can be concluded that this method is very interesting and supports the learning process of children. The results of the last test showed an increase in understanding of reading the Qur'an so that it reached the predetermined success indicators. Abstract

The students was the lack of enthusiasm for English learning. Students sometimes get bored in learning process. The purpose of this research was to improve how to get well students at SMP TMI RQ Metro in acquire English vocabulary material for class VIII A. The researchers used classroom action research, either in Cycle I and Cycle II. Data was collected through observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The result showed that 9 out of 20 students passed with a percentage of 45% in the observation cycle I. 11 students with a completeness level of 55% were students who did not complete. with an average value of 70.75. Hence, the classical completeness of the first cycle is 45%. It was observed that 80% of 20 students, 16 of which completed it during the second cycle. Four students with a 20% completion rate did not complete the course. with an average of 80 points. As a result, a typical cycle II is 80% complete. In other words, the results of the second cycle of observations succeeded in obtaining the KKM score that had been determined by the school and the completeness of the learning objectives for students.Keywords: Student Learning Outcomes, Vocabulary Material, Alphabet Games

Abstract

This research was aimed to investigate the strategies used by the teachers in correcting the students’ errors in classroom interaction. The research was conducted at ten States Junior High Schools of Payakumbuh, West Sumatera consisted of one classroom for each school. The subject of the research was the ten teachers and all the students who were exist in those ten classrooms. This research was descriptive qualitative with the classroom interaction analysis. The finding of this research were (1) the errors which most frequently made by the students were vocabulary error. (2) The teacher used some different strategies in correcting the students’ error. However, the strategies which the most frequently used were explicit correction and recast. (3) The students’ preference was on explicit correction, metalinguistic feedback and clarification request. (4) The commonly reason of teachers tend to use the certain strategies in correcting the students’ error was because the teacher consider that the oral error correction was the effective way to communicate and help the students improve their speaking skill. Besides, the teachers know the level of students’ understanding, condition, and the ability in receiving what the teachers gave.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the of Society 5.0 requires educational institutions to adapt in preparing competent, adaptive, and strong character human resources. Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School), as value-based educational institutions, face challenges in integrating technology without neglecting long-established traditions and moral values. This study aims to analyze the learning adaptation strategies of pesantren in preparing human resources to face the Society 5.0 era through educational implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method conducted at one pesantren. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, involving pesantren leaders, teachers, and students as research subjects. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The findings indicate that pesantren adaptation strategies include strengthening a digital literacy–based curriculum, developing 21st-century skills, implementing information technology–based extracurricular programs, and enhancing teachers’ competencies in utilizing educational technology. These adaptations are carried out through a progressive–conservative approach, which integrates technological innovation with traditional pesantren values. This study contributes by offering an adaptive educational model for pesantren that is relevant to addressing the challenges of the Society 5.0 era. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi digital pada era Society 5.0 menuntut lembaga pendidikan untuk mampu beradaptasi dalam menyiapkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang kompeten, adaptif, dan berkarakter. Pondok pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan berbasis nilai menghadapi tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi tanpa mengabaikan tradisi dan nilai moral yang telah mengakar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi adaptasi pondok pesantren dalam mempersiapkan SDM menghadapi era Society 5.0 melalui penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus pada satu pondok pesantren. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, dengan subjek penelitian meliputi pimpinan pesantren, guru, dan santri. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi adaptasi pesantren meliputi penguatan kurikulum berbasis literasi digital, pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, penyelenggaraan program ekstrakurikuler teknologi informasi, serta peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran. Adaptasi tersebut dilakukan dengan pendekatan progresif-konservatif, yaitu mengintegrasikan inovasi teknologi dengan nilai-nilai tradisional pesantren. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memberikan model adaptasi pendidikan pesantren yang relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan Society 5.0.
