Abstract

The experimental object used is a three-wheeled omni-robot frame, where the wheel axes have an angle difference of 120 degrees from each other. The Omni wheels have a diameter of 48 mm connected to the DC motor axis through a gearbox, which has a ratio of 80 to 1. Each wheel has been controlled using a proportional plus integral plus derivative (PID) controller embedded in a microcontroller, which is an Arduino nano board. The motor axis is equipped with a two-phase optical encoder that definitively generates four cycles per revolution for wheel speed acquisition as the controller input. The wheel speed control signal is distributed to the wheel through the H bridge as the controller output. The controller constants have been directly tuned to the robot frame's physical omni-wheel speed control system. The controller is tuned to minimize steady-state error, achieve fast settling times, and minimize overshoot. The best constants obtained are 1.5 (proportional), 0.012 (integral), and 10 (derivative). Using a tolerance band of +/- 2.5%, the system achieved a settling time of 1.1 seconds and a steady-state error of 0.3%. The control system is unstable when the actuator is saturated, which produces oscillations. Controller optimization has been successful by using integrator wind-up reduction. The steady-state average error was reduced to 9.95% without oscillation after optimization, compared to 46.37% with oscillations before optimization. The controller has been validated with speed-tracking tests on all velocity vector regions. The robot frame has been tested with basic maneuvers such as rotation, concerning, forward, and sideways.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between cognitive style (reflective and impulsive) on students' analytical abilities. Analytical ability is part of learning outcomes. There are seven levels of cognitive learning outcomes which include knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and creative problem-solving. Students' analytical abilities are influenced by many things, one of which is cognitive style. Cognitive style is a way of accepting and managing attitudes towards information, as well as habits related to the world of individual learning. Reflective and impulsive cognitive styles are cognitive styles with indicators of time understanding concepts. Reflective cognitive styles usually take a long time to respond, but consider all available options, and have high concentration while learning. Meanwhile, students with an impulsive cognitive style are the opposite. The approach used in this study is a correlational and multiple regression approach. The variables in this study are reflective cognitive style and impulsive cognitive style as independent variables and analytical skills as the dependent variable with a population of 130 students. The results showed that there was a relationship between students' cognitive style and analytical skills. The greater the cognitive style score, the greater the analytical ability score. Then the cognitive style affects the analytical ability of 19.9%, where the other 80.1% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the compliance of the financial statements of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Tambaksari Village with the Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP). It adopts a qualitative research approach, conducting thorough observations and analysis of BUMDes financial statements. Data collection methods include descriptive qualitative techniques, interviews, documentation, and literature studies pertaining to SAK ETAP-based financial reporting. The findings reveal several challenges, notably the non-compliance of financial statements with SAK ETAP and a lack of awareness among BUMDes in Tambaksari Village regarding financial report analysis, attributed to limited knowledge.

Abstract

Significant price fluctuations pose a serious challenge for breeders, traders and consumers. This price uncertainty has an impact on the economic stability of breeders and public access to protein sources. This problem also affects the sustainability of the chicken farming industry in East Java. In response to the problem of chicken price fluctuations, this research applies the Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) method to predict future chicken prices. The process begins with collecting a historical dataset of chicken prices from the East Java region. After that, the GRU model training process is carried out using this data to increase prediction accuracy. Model evaluation is carried out using metrics such as RMSE, MAPE, and Accuracy to ensure model validity and performance. The research results show that the GRU model provides chicken price predictions with a satisfactory level of accuracy of 99.72%. Evaluation metrics such as RMSE and MAPE show that the model is able to provide predictions that are close to actual values, while the accuracy level of the model also reflects its ability to provide good estimates.
