Abstract

Digital space is currently being used as a propaganda tool for extremism in the name of religion, so efforts are needed to counter this influence. This study aims to analyze the mainstreaming of religious moderation by teachers in the digital era as an effort to counter the influence of intolerance and extremism. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with meta-synthetic data analysis techniques. Data was obtained through a collection of published journals from 2019-2022. According to the findings of this study, educators can promote religious moderation in today's digital age through a variety of activities, including 1) literacy through digital libraries; 2) literacy through social media; 3) literacy through webinars; and 4) literacy through scientific writing. In order to educate students about religious moderation and how it might be applied in a multicultural society's day-to-day activities, this literacy programme has been designed.

Abstract

Wayang Kayon filling is often understood as an ornament that is interpreted separately. The fillings are composed in such a way that they interact. The interaction between Wayang Kayon fillings forms landscape perception. This study aims to explain landscape perception in Wayang Kayon figures. The theory used to explain the landscapes depicted on Wayang Kayon figures is the perception theory. This research uses qualitative methods with an interpretive-iconographic approach. The Wayang Kayon filling is three composed layers of the structure, including pucukan, genukan, and lengkeh. The filling found on the pucukan Wayang Kayon is a tree of life form that is the landscape perception as mountain and forest. The filling of the genukan and lengkeh on the Wayang Kayon Blumbangan figure shows the ponds, animals, plants, and/or mythological creatures formation that are the landscape perception as an ecosystem around a water source. The filling of the genukan and lengkeh on the Wayang Kayon Gapuran figure shows the gate formation that is the landscape perception as a landscape of sacred buildings. Wayang Kayon filling is depicted through pasemon artistic concept so that it is understood as native art. This research is expected to be a guide for shadow puppet spectators to understand the Wayang Kayon figures filling and for shadow puppet artists to pay attention to the Wayang Kayon filling results creations so that the interaction between fillings still perceives the landscape.

Abstract

Gajah Mada and Tribhuwana Tunggadewi are two historical figures of the Majapahit Kingdom. Both of them had great influence in expanding the power of Majapahit Kingdom. These two historical figures can be presented as visual novel characters that educate, especially representing it through an interactive media that appeals to teenagers. Currently, there are not many visual novels featuring Indonesian history setting. This study creates visual movel characters of Gajah Mada and Tribhuwana Tunggadewi in the context of visual communication design. The discussion about these characters of visual novel uses a qualitative approach with structural semiotics method that is designing messages through visual elements of lines, shapes, textures, and colors. This study shows that the costume design on the character represents the informational meaning about the influential figure in the kingdom. Accessory design represents the symbolic meaning of the royalty. Facial design and posture as a representation of elegance and strength figure in the meaning of images. Kedua tokoh sejarah ini bisa disajikan sebagai karakter permainan dalam visual novel yang mendidik, terutama merepresentasikannya melalui media interaktif yang menarik bagi remaja. Saat ini, tidak banyak visual novel yang menampilkan latar sejarah Indonesia. Studi ini menciptakan karakter Gajah Mada dan Tribhuwana Tunggadewi dalam konteks desain komunikasi visual. Pembahasan tentang karakter visual novel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode semiotika struktural, yaitu mendesain pesan melalui elemen visual garis, bentuk, tekstur, dan warna. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa desain kostum pada karakter sebagai representasi makna informasi tentang sosok yang berpengaruh di kerajaan. Desain aksesori merupakan representasi makna simbolik tentang dolongan kebangsawanan. Desain wajah dan postur sebagai representasi eleganitas dan kekuatan karakter dalam makna imaji. Hasil desain karakter ini diharapkan bisa memberi gambaran tentang tokoh sejarah di Kerajaan Majapahit bagi remaja.Kata kunci: elemen visual, karakter, visual novel, semiotika struktural

Abstract

Businesses around Instagram influencers involve using these individuals to promote products or services to their followers. Businesses collaborates with influencers in a number of ways, including sponsored posts, affiliate marketing, and brand partnerships. This research examines Influencer marketing role and the impact on social engagement. the analysis technique will be using Instagram Analytics tool. The analytics tool functioned to simplify the old literature’s formula. With using Toolzu Analytics, we don’t need to calculate with complicated formula anymore but getting a complete multi-category data. The results of study show from cosplay being seen as sexualizing hobby, socially awkward, childish, and weird, become an art activity using make-up and show a real costume dress with good crafting and make-up. It’s also a proof that content can be visually pleasing without overdose of sexualization. It is also pretty unique that despite her strong domination of cosplay content, she managed to bring trend of business, education, and vegan from her top user’s interest.

Abstract

Marketing innovation recently occurred and had well growth in social media due to digital marketing efficiency and social media’s spread in producing informative content. Household servant industry is part of it with the content of @Mbasiticom Instagram account frequently produce content of their services that show a new change in marketing and also an innovation in marketing field, However, as household servant industry is known as exploitative in their respective field, @mbasiticom doesn’t escape this system which causing harmful stigma between women and society. With the content analysis, a new perspective is discovered upon the industry, how women and gender equality study is still relevant even to this day.

Abstract

In 2023, AI has become an integral part of daily life, swiftly embraced in both developed and smaller countries. This research focuses on raises the question: is AI a utopia or an inevitability, given the disruptions it brings to the digital landscape? Using Roger Fidler's mediamorphosis analysis, this research suggests that AI leans more towards a utopian outlook, where its disruptive impact allows for critical evaluation. The study aims to understand AI's value and conceptualisation in society. By recognising AI's transformative influence, this research contributes to the discourse by highlighting its potential as a utopian force while acknowledging its inevitable role in shaping the future.

Abstract

Abstrak Peran Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat Indonesia sangatlah penting. Untuk menjamin Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) tumbuh dengan baik, maka perlu adanya usaha pengembangan (UMKM) yang dilakukan oleh setiap pelaku UMKM. Salah satu strategi yang bisa digunakan ialah strategi pemasaran. Kerupuk Mie “Kembang Matahari” merupakan salah satu UKM yang berdiri semenjak tahun 1977. Untuk mengembangkan usahanya, diperlukan suatu strategi pengembangan usahanya dengan tepat. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Dalam pengumpulan data penulis menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan dalam analisisnya, penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis SWOT yaitu metode analisis data yang menunjukkan pengembangan usaha dapat ditentukan oleh kombinasi faktor eksternal dan internal yakni faktor kekuatan (strength), kelemahan (weakness), peluang (opportunities), dan ancaman (threats). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Kerupuk Mie “Kembang Matahari” dalam mengembangkan usaha agar dapat meningkatkan usahanya dan kendala apa saja yang dihadapi dalam melaksanakan upaya tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis dapat di sampaikan bahwa strategi pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha Kerupuk Mie “Kembang Matahari” Karadenan yaitu meningkatkan pasar yang lebih luas, menjaga kualitas produk, memberikan pelatihan kepada pekerja, meningkatkan kualitas layanan pelanggan dan menetapkan harga. Sedangkan hasil analisis SWOT yang penulis teliti dari berbagai kendala maka pada penelitian ini akan meminimalisir dari masalah yang ada yaitu dengan menggunakan Strategi SO, Strategi ST, Strategi WO, Strategi WT. Dari strategi itu maka peneliti berharap akan bisa membantu dalam mengembangkan usahanya pada pengusaha Kerupuk Mie Karadenan Kabupaten Bogor. Abstract The role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the economic growth of the Indonesian people is very important. To ensure that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) grow well, it is necessary to have development efforts (MSMEs) carried out by every MSME actor. One strategy that can be used is a marketing strategy. Kerupuk Mie “Kembang Matahari” is one of the SMEs that was founded in 1977. To develop its business, a proper business development strategy is needed. This research is a type of field research (field research). In collecting data the author uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, in the analysis, this study uses the SWOT analysis method, which is a data analysis method that shows business development can be determined by a combination of external and internal factors, namely strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This research was conducted to determine the "Kembang Matahari" Mie Crackers in developing their business in order to increase their business and what obstacles were faced in carrying out these efforts. Based on the results of the research conducted by the author, it can be said that the development strategy carried out by the Karadenan "Kembang Matahari" Karadenan Mie Cracker entrepreneur is to increase the wider market, maintain product quality, provide training to workers, improve the quality of customer service and set prices. While the results of the SWOT analysis that the author examined from various obstacles, this study will minimize the existing problems by using the SO Strategy, ST Strategy, WO Strategy, WT Strategy. From that strategy, the researcher hopes that it will be able to help in developing his business at the Karadenan Noodle Cracker entrepreneur, Bogor Regency.

Abstract

Meaning of Life is an important part of students' future where the problems in it are related to students' psychology and have an impact on their learning activities at school. The aim of this research is to find out whether the WDEP strategy is able to increase students' Meaning of Life. This research is quantitative research where data was obtained from class XII students. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews and observations. After the data was obtained, the data was analyzed using a paired t-test. The results of this research show that the Wilcoxon test regarding increasing the Meaning of Life of students obtained a calculated Z value of -2.810 where the Asymp Sig (2-tailed) value was 0.00. These results indicate that the Asymp sig value is less than 0.05 (0.00 0.05). These results indicate an increase in students' Meaning of Life after receiving WDEP treatment. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. These results show that the WDEP strategy is able to increase students' Meaning of Life. With WDEP, students have clear goals, life satisfaction, freedom of will, self-control, and attitudes towards death and are able to have a reason to continue to exist.

Abstract

Kayon merupakan figur wayang kulit yang memiliki peran penting dalam pertunjukan dan juga memiliki keistimewaan dalam bentuknya. Keistimewaan bentuk tersebut telah diinterpretasikan oleh para desainer sebagai dasar dari bentuk logo yang memiliki identitas visual keindonesiaan. Selain itu, figur kayon juga sudah mulai dibidik sebagai media atau ruang untuk karya-karya ilustrasi. Namun, karya-karya ilustrasi tersebut khususnya yang berlatar belakang narasi hanya memanfaatkan bentuknya saja, padahal di dalam bentuk figur kayon terdapat struktur shape and fill yang dapat diadaptasi menjadi sebuah konsep ilustrasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menjelaskan konsep desain ilustrasi sebagai alternatif basis dalam narasi melalui adaptasi bentuk dan struktur kayon. Teori yang digunakan sebagai analisis adalah teori adaptasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan research-led design. Pembahasan konsep ilustrasi kayon diawali dengan membahas aspek-aspek bentuk figur kayon yang dapat digunakan sebagai modal ilustrasi. Aspek-aspek tersebut meliputi bentuk dan struktur isian serta makna kayon yang terkandung dalam kedua aspek tersebut. Proses adaptasi kemudian dimulai dengan mendiskusikan kebutuhan ilustrasi, yaitu gaya visual, alur, karakter, dan penataan setting. Konsep ilustrasi kayon ini diharapkan dapat berguna sebagai alternatif ilustrasi yang dikemas dalam sebuah narasi yang memiliki identitas visual Indonesia dan perkembangan seni rupa, khususnya ilustrasi Indonesia.

Abstract

Pulau Kemaro memiliki keunikan tersendiri, berbeda dengan pulau lainnya jika dibandingkan dengan tempat wisata alam yang ada di Kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Pulau Kemaro merupakan satu-satunya pulau yang menjadi tempat wisata di Kota Palembang. Pulau ini juga memiliki nama yang cukup menarik yaitu Pulau Kemaro yang memiliki arti pulau yang tidak pernah tergenang atau tidak tergenang air bahkan pada saat musim hujan. Pengamatan dilakukan pada 10 Desember, bertempat di Pulau Kemaro, 11 Desember bertempat di Benteng Kuto Besak, dermaga penyeberangan menuju Pulau Kemaro, 12-13 Desember, terletak di seberang Pulau Kemaro untuk melihat kehidupan sekitarnya. masyarakat yang bergantung di Pulau Kemaro. Setelah melakukan observasi langsung dengan mengunjungi Pulau Kemaro, Kota Palembang dan melakukan wawancara langsung dengan Pak Burhan, ditemukan beberapa peluang untuk meningkatkan kunjungan dan juga menjadikan Pulau Kemaro sebagai objek wisata unggulan. Dan salah satu aspek yang pertama harus dilakukan adalah melakukan visual branding identity tentang Pulau Kemaro itu sendiri. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, praktisi membuat logo dan tagline untuk mendeskripsikan identitas Pulau Kemaro, Palembang, sehingga masyarakat sekitar atau masyarakat di luar Kota Palembang dapat dengan mudah mengenalinya. Desain logo Pulau Kemaro mengandung makna dan filosofi yang terdapat pada elemen yang terdapat pada logo tersebut.
