Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengelolaan kelas, motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah strategi belajar mengajar fisika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis statistik regresi ganda. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan fisika tahun akademik 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 44 mahasiswa. Variabel penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan kelas (X1), motivasi belajar (X2) dan hasil belajar mahasiswa (Y). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes untuk variabel hasil belajar mahasiswa, sedangkan untuk variabel pengelolaan kelas dan motivasi belajar menggunakan angket.Hasil pengujian dengan statistik regresi ganda menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan kelas mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Serta pengelolaan kelas, dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah strategi belajar mengajar fisika, maka dosen perlu mengelola kelasnya secara baik dan selalu membangkitkan motivasi belajar mahsiswa dengan menggunakan berbagai model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan konsep yang dibelajarkan.Kata Kunci : Pengelolaan Kelas, Motivasi Belajar dan Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum suggests that learning must be integrated or commonly known as integrated thematic learning. Thematic learning in elementary schools usually combines material on several subjects into one theme. The references used by both teachers and students are provided by the government, namely teachers’ book and students’ book. The teachers directly teach their students using references provided without analyzing or further developing by the teacher. The implementation of 2013 curriculum requires teachers to be creative in using various learning models and scientific approaches. With these demands the teacher should be able to develop teaching materials in accordance with the learning model. This research is motivated by the importance of developing integrated thematic teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning models that are able to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students. The study was conducted for 3 months. This type of research is development research refers to the 4-D model proposed by Thiagarajan, but this research is limited to defining, designing and developing. The instrument used to assess the quality of teaching materials is a questionnaire with five categories, while students' critical thinking skills use test instrument. Data analysis was performed by descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis show that integrated thematic teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) on heat and its transfer are stated to meet valid criteria and practicality, because teaching materials are developed based on supporting theories consistently and can be used easily. Whereas in the effectiveness test of integrated thematic teaching materials based on problem based learning, it was declared effective to be used because the developed teaching materials had a positive impact in increasing students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The development research done at MTs Negeri 2 Halmahera Utara aims to: (1) produce physics teaching materials based on local wisdom in the Energy material for MTs class VII students, and (2) determine the feasibility of physics teaching materials based on local wisdom Energy materials for MTs students in class VII. This development research refers to the 4 steps of the 4-D model development design proposed by Thiagarajan, namely the stages of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The product trial consisted of validation by material experts, media experts, linguists, science teachers, and 5 students of MTs Negeri 2 Halmahera Utara class VII. Collecting data using interview guidelines, expert validation sheets, and understanding test sheets of teaching materials. This research produces a product in the form of physics teaching materials based on local wisdom in the form of a printed book and is suitable for use with eligibility criteria including content eligibility of 94% very feasible category, presentation feasibility 90% very feasible category, graphic feasibility 88% very feasible category, feasibility linguistics of 88% in the very appropriate category, and the average comprehension test of teaching materials of 90.5 in the high category.

Abstract

Madrasah Tsanawiyah Sahabat Cendikia (MTs SC) Ternate is one of the schools that has not been accredited. Actually, the eight components of the national education standard have been implemented by MTs SC, but the documents and activity reports are not well administered. The results of interviews with partner madrasah principals obtained the same problem, namely the low value of each component of the SNP which refers to the accreditation instrument. Training programs and assistance in the preparation of accreditation forms by the community service team are the solutions offered to help partner school problems. The stages of this community service program include: (1) the training stage, (2) the stage of assisting the preparation of the accreditation form, (3) the stage of assisting the fulfillment of the physical documents of accreditation, (4) the evaluation stage. Training in the fulfillment of physical documents and supporting documents provides understanding and skills to the form drafting team in preparing physical documents and supporting documents in accordance with technical instructions and a list of needs that have been made previously. Training through tutorials on how to fill out instruments through the IASP 2020 application provides understanding and skills to the form-writing team on how to use the application

Abstract

Pendidikan abad-21 menginginkan agar kemampuan literasi sains siswa diupayakan untuk ditingkatkan selain untuk memotivasi siswa agar memiliki kemampuan dan keterampilan yang mumpuni. Kemampuan literasi sains siswa perlu dilatih, karena hingga saat ini sesuai hasil studi PISA menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa secara nasional masih berada pada kategori rendah. Rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains siswa disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor diantaranya kemampuan guru untuk melatihkan literasi sains, cara mengajar guru, kurikulum, sumber belajar, maupun dari siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Halmahera Utara. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA-1 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 27 siswa. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data kemampuan literasi sains adalah soal-soal tes yang sesuai dengan materi atau konsep yang diajarkan dan disesuaikan dengan indikator literasi sains. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada setiap aspek literasi sains yang dijadikan indikator berbeda-beda persentasi peningkatannya yaitu pada aspek konten meningkat sebesar 22,22 %, aspek proses atau kompetensi meningkat sebesar 29,63%,  dan aspek konteks meningkat sebesar 25,93%. Pada aspek konteks kebanyakan siswa belum dapat mengaplikasikan konsep fluida dinamis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari karena hasil yang diperoleh masih berada dibawah 65 %. Sementara hasil analisis menggunakan statistik uji N-Gain yang berfungsi untuk menguji peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa menunjukkan bahwa secara rata-rata kemampuan literasi sains siswa berada pada kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak 81,48 %, kategori tinggi 11,11% dan kategori rendah 7,41 %. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan model discovery learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 2 Halmahera Utara.

Abstract

Technological developments in the 21st century era, especially in the field of education, are increasingly important and change the way teachers view learning. One thing that supports the learning process is the use of digital-based learning media, including Google Site. Research on the development of physics teaching materials based on the POE2WE model with the help of the Google site with the aim of: 1) Developing physics teaching materials based on the POE2WE learning model with the help of the Google site; and 2) analyze teacher and student responses to physics teaching materials based on the POE2WE learning model assisted by Google Site. The research was carried out at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 (MAN 1) Tidore Islands. The research data was obtained from validation results from several validators, namely material, language and media validators used to state the suitability of teaching materials, while teacher and student responses were obtained through the results of filling out questionnaires. The data obtained from the research results showed that on average the teaching materials developed were declared very suitable for use by class XII students at MAN 1 Tidore Islands, especially regarding electromagnetic induction material. The feasibility of the teaching materials developed is 88.25%. Analysis of teacher response data obtained a result of 95.33% and for student responses a result of 96% was obtained. It can be concluded that the physics teaching materials based on the POE2WE model assisted by the Google site received a response in the category of strongly agreeing to be used.

Abstract

This research aims to streamline the PjBL model physics e-module assisted by Google Sites which is suitable for use for physics learning and determine the effectiveness of the PjBL model physics e-module assisted by Google Sites. Google Sites is a service owned by the Google site that facilitates its users so they can have a website easily and practically. Using Google Sites for students will make it easier for students to access teaching materials and will not need to use up smartphone memory capacity. With this convenience, lecture material can be in the form of learning links that students can access. Apart from that, students can access it anywhere and at any time so that it can be used to study independently according to lecture needs. This research is Research and Development research with a 4D model which includes 4 stages, namely the define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The results of the research show that the PjBL model e-module assisted by Google Sites in learning the history of physics is effectively used in learning to increase student learning independence.

Abstract

The effectiveness of the Physics learning process, especially in higher education, will be good if the implementation is able to emphasize the process, because the quality of the process will determine learning outcomes. Practicum is very important in order to support learning and emphasize the process aspect. This is based on the aim of learning as a process, namely improving thinking skills, the teaching and learning process using a virtual laboratory can stimulate students to be more active in participating in teaching and learning activities. The class atmosphere became more lively and students were more enthusiastic in participating in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to see student perceptions of the use of virtual laboratories for modern physics topics.
