Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of domino learning media in mathematics lessons, assess students' understanding of mathematical concepts in addition, and examine the effect of using domino learning media on the mathematical concept comprehension of second-grade students at SD Inpres Bakung, Gowa Regency. This study is an experimental research with a quantitative approach. The research design employed is a quasi-experimental type with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population consists of all second-grade students at SD Inpres Bakung, Gowa Regency. The sample includes 15 students in the experimental group and 15 students in the control group, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using observation sheets to monitor the implementation of the learning media and student achievement tests. Data analysis involved descriptive and inferential statistics. The descriptive analysis showed that the implementation of the learning process using domino media from the first to the third meeting was categorized as very good. This indicates that the improvement in students' understanding of mathematical concepts in addition was better in the experimental group compared to the control group. This is supported by the higher average posttest scores of the experimental group compared to the control group.In conclusion: (1) the learning process assisted by domino learning media was very effective, (2) test results revealed an improvement in students’ understanding of mathematical concepts related to addition, and (3) using domino learning media significantly influenced the comprehension of mathematical concepts in addition among second-grade students at SD Inpres Bakung, Gowa Regency. Abstract

This study originated from the lack of involvement of fifth-grade students in learning and their low ability to solve mathematical story problems, which did not meet the Learning Objective Criteria (KKTP). To address this issue, this study aims to examine the improvement of mathematics learning through the application of the Problem Posing model. Using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with a qualitative approach, this study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were teachers and 25 fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Karunrung (7 male students and 18 female students). In Cycle I, observations showed that the learning process (both from the teacher and student perspectives) and learning outcomes were at a satisfactory level. After improvements were implemented, Cycle II showed a significant improvement, with all aspects of the learning process from the teacher's side, the learning process from the students' side, and learning outcomes improving to a good level. The conclusion of this study is that the Problem Posing model is a successful approach in improving the ability of fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Karunrung in Makassar City to solve math story problems. Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The purpose of the research is to analyze and describe the difficulties of students in solving story problems on fractions in grade IV. The subjects of this research are grade IV students of SD Inpres Karunrung who are grouped into 3 subjects. The selection of research subjects is based on the results of the test scores in solving story problems, namely, high, medium, and low scores, then one subject is selected for each subject to be the subject of research. Meanwhile, the object of research is the answer sheet of the results of the students' story problem solving test guided by interview guidelines. Data analysis uses the methods of data reduction, data presentation, data verification and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that, of the five types of errors analyzed, errors in process skills and writing final answers are the most frequent types of errors and are experienced by all research subjects. Process skill errors are inaccuracies in performing fraction arithmetic operations, while errors in writing final answers occur because students do not conclude the results completely and correctly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan sosial peserta didik dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) melalui tutor sebaya pada pelajaran Tematik di UPT SPF SDI MANGASA 1. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang diawali dengan kegiatan pra siklus untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal setiap peserta didik sebelum diterapkan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL)) melalui tutor sebaya. Pada setiap siklus dilaksanakan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi terhadap 20 peserta didik di kelas III B. Implementasi pendekatan tersebut dilakukan sebanyak 2 pertemuan setiap siklusnya. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes diagnostik dan juga lembar observasi keterampilan sosial selama pembelajaran. Hasil implementasi pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) melalui tutor sebaya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dari pra-siklus 40% hingga siklus 1 sebanyak 60% dan siklus 2 sebanyak 85%. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) melalui tutor sebaya merupakan salah satu cara meningkatkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik kelas III di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Model Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas V SD Inpres Puncak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui gambaran penggunaan Model Discovery Learning pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD Inpres Puncak Kecamatan Mamuju Kabupaten Mamuju, (2) Untuk mengetahui gambaran hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD Inpres Puncak Kecamatan Mamuju Kabupaten Mamuju, (3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Model Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD Inpres Puncak Kecamatan Mamuju Kabupaten Mamuju. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group desain. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Inpres Puncak. Penentuan sampel yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, tes dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Analisis statistik inferensial yang digunakan uji hipotesis independent sample T-test. Hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan berdasarkan lembar observasi diperoleh model Discovery Learning secaraumum terlaksana dengan sangat baik, hal ini terlihat persentase setiap pertemuan. Pertemuan pertama dengan kategori baik namun masih terdapat tahapan yang belum terlaksana secara maksimal. Kemudian pada pertemuan kedua proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen lebih rendah dibandingkan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dengan penggunaan model Discovery Learning. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan t-test dengan jenis independent sampel T-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji independent sample t-test diperoleh Equal variances assumed nilai Sig. (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari 0.05 berarti Ho ditolakdan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Puncak Kecamatan Mamuju Kabupaten Mamuju.
