Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai kemampuan siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Wilayah Gugus 1 Kecamatan Brang Rea Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis teks khususnya kemampuan dalam memproduksi teks cerpen. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Bree, SDN Desa Beru, SDN Sapugara, SDN Seminar, dan SDN Kejawat yang berada di wilayah gugus 1 Kecamatan Brang Rea. Wujud data penelitian berupa hasil teks cerpen yang diproduksi siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah metode padan intralingual teknik HBB, HBS, dan HBSP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (a) ditinjau dari penerapan struktur teks, dapat dikatakan sangat mampu dalam memproduksi teks cerpen. (b) ditinjau dari kemampuan menggunakan piranti-piranti kebahasaan teks, dapat dikatakan masih kurang mampu. (c) dan terakhir, ditinjau secara menyeluruh dapat dikatakan cukup mampu dalam hal memproduksi teks cerpen.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how to classify the emotions of the character Qais Al-Qarani in the novel Layla Majnun by Nizami Al-Ganjavi based on the study of David Krech's perspective. This study aims to determine the emotional classification of the character Qais Al-Qarani in the novel Layla Majnun by Nizami Al-Ganjavi based on the study of David Krech's perspective. The theory used in this research is David Krech's classification of emotions. This research is qualitative. The data source in this study is the novel Layla Majnun by Nizami Al-Ganjavi. The data collection method used is the library method and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis conducted on the novel Layla Majnun, it can be concluded that the character Qais Al-Qarani in the novel Layla Majnun has seven classifications of emotions based on David Krech's perspective. From the results of data analysis in this study, it can be seen that various classifications of Qais Al-Qarani's emotions are as diverse as the concept of guilt experienced by Qais is illustrated when he makes a love rope which according to people is not good so that he separates from Layla. The pent-up guilt experienced by Qais is seen when a mother tries to persuade him to go home but Qais has no desire to go home. Self-punishment was seen when Qais hurt himself by writhing on a thorn and hitting his head. He did this to relieve the tension he felt. The shame that Qais experienced was seen when he had a guest who came from far away. The person's name is Salam. Salam wanted to accompany Qais to his Majnun but Qais refused because he felt he would not be able to share anything with Salam. He was just an isolated madman. The sadness that was felt by Qais himself was seen when his separation from his lover Layla occurred. The separation made him feel great sadness. Longing for her lover has brought so much suffering, tears, pain, and all forms of suffering and misfortune. The hatred that Qais felt was seen when he left the lives of those who were close to him and chose to live in the desert and wander. He feels that his environment never understands and accepts the reason why he acts like a crazy person. The love experienced by Qais is seen when he prays and asks God to end his life and death picks him up. He did this because the lover he loved so much had died.

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas metafor yang yang ada di dalam novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wjik karya Hamka. Makalah ini ditulis berdasarkan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori semiotika. Ditemukan bahwa ada sejumlah metafor yang dipakai oleh penulisnya. Jenis-jenis metafor tersebut cukup beragam yaitu: metafora antromorfik, metafor kehewanan, metafor abstrak ke konkrit, dan metafor sinestesia. Hal ini menjadikan karya ini “indah” secara penyajian kebahasaannya, di samping indah atau estetis secara isi cerita. Dengan demikian, keberadaan metafor yang muncul dalam karya novel tersebut menjadikan karya fiksi ini semangat memperkuat bahwa karya novel ini ddapat dikategorikan sebagai karya utama (masterpiece)

Abstract

This study aims to measure students' ability to produce text in Indonesian language learning. The focus of this research is to describe students' ability to write anecdotal texts by utilizing coordinate/equivalent conjunctions. Text-based learning has been implemented for a long time in Indonesia and this research was conducted to see if students' ability to produce text has increased. The population of this research is secondary education students in Mataram City and to facilitate the course of research selected 40 students as a sample provided that all students have received the same learning. This research is included in qualitative research. The results of this study showed that students' ability to produce anecdotal texts in the category was lacking. It is hoped that this research has success in helping to improve students' writing ability in producing a text.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimanakah strata norma Geguritan Kidungan Baödayǎ karya Rangga Azhary? Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan strata norma Geguritan Kidungan Baödayǎ karya Rangga Azhary. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan teknik membaca dan mencatat. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah delapan geguritan diambil dalam antologi Geguritan Kidungan Baödayǎ karya Rangga Azhary. Geguritan-geguritan tersebut antara lain; (1) Ndéq Bangge; (2) Sekolah Care Laéq; (3) Makat akh, Makat; (4) Sakit Bayu; (5) Loéqan Mudarat; (6) Manok Maté Romboq Taroq; (7) Khayal; dan (8) Péte Sangu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data strata norma Roman Ingarden dalam Geguritan Kidungan Baödayǎ karya Rangga Azhary dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) lapis bunyi berupa asonansi dan aliterasi. Bunyi-bunyi tersebut memberikan penekanan bunyi khusus, mempermudah pembaca dalam memahami geguritan, serta menambah unsur keindahan atau estetika dalam geguritan; (2) lapis arti memberikan gambaran tentang kisah yang terjadi pada kehidupan sehari-hari manusia; (3) lapis objek berupa satuan arti yang menimbulkan lapis ketiga berupa objek-objek yang dikemukakan; (4) lapis dunia menyatakan beberapa hal yang dipandang dari sudut pandang tertentu; (5) lapis metafisis menyatakan tentang ketragisan dan kesedihan yang terjadi dalam geguritan. Kedelapan geguritan tersebut menyampaikan pesan-pesan yang berbeda-beda berdasarkan tema yang berada di dalamnya.

Abstract

This study aims to explore scientific literacy in Indonesian language textbooks at the elementary and secondary school levels. The explorative qualitative method was applied in this study. The data was collected through explanation materials, procedural writings, scientific papers, exposition texts, and review texts from Indonesian language textbooks for elementary and middle school students. This study's data analysis technique was content analysis. The data was analyzed to confirm its suitability with the type of text represented and then validated for its role in supporting scientific literacy. The results of the research showed that (1) not all sample texts met the basic criteria as appropriate teaching materials; (2) if the text met the criteria as an example text of teaching materials, the text did not contain aspects of scientific literacy; and (3) of all the texts examined, only explanatory texts for elementary level students contained scientific literacy content in addition to meeting the criteria as sample texts of teaching materials. Based on these findings, Indonesian language textbook compilers should be more cautious in selecting samples of texts that will be discussed collaboratively by teachers and students.

Abstract

Data guru SDN 1 Montong Beter Kecamatan Sakra Barat Kabupaten Lombok Timur menunjukkan jika 11 dari 13 guru disertifikasi. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan jika kemampuan guru dalam melakukan inovasi pembelajaran masih rendah. Sebab, seorang guru harus secara terus menerus melakukan inovasi pembelajaran dan hal tersebut dapat terjadi jika secara reflektif mampu menemukan masalah yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran. Bukan hanya itu, guru diharapkan mampu mengdiagnosis dan menentukan solusi yang tepat atas masalah yang dihadapi. Dengan demikian mutu pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (abdimas) ini ditujukan untuk membekali para guru SDN 1 Montong Beter Kecamatan Sakra Barat Kabupaten Lombok Timur bagaimana menemukan masalah pembelajaran, mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab, serta menemukan alternatif solusi pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan pada Ahad, 20 September 2025 di Ruang Kelas Serba Guna SDN 1 Montong Beter Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Kegiatan persiapan dilakukan koordinasi dengan salah seorang guru dan kepala sekolah terkait waktu dan tempat pelaksanaan, serta sarana prasarana yang dibutuhkan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan. Pemateri 1 menyampaikan tentang kondisi kemampuan belajar anak Indonesia dibandingkan dengan negara-negara lain, yang masih di bawah rata-rata dilihat dari Tingkat kemampuan berpikir. Anak-anak negara ASEAN mampu berpikir kritis dengan baik dan cepat, sedangkan anak-anak Indonesia masih berada pada kemampuan mengetahui dan menghapal. Perencanaan dan pelaksanaan harus dikembangkan tidak hanya untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir dan kemampuan abad 21. Pemateri 2 menuntun peserta untuk menemukan masalah dan bentuk solusi sebagai tindakan untuk memecahkan masalah pembelajaran yang dihadapi para guru. Seluruh peserta secara mandiri dapat mengidentifikasi masalah hingga menentukan alternatif solusi pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan tanggapan positif dan memiliki arti penting bagi peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di kelas sehingga dapat direplikasi ditempat lain.

Abstract

The betian tradition is a traditional activity carried out by the Sasak people during the process of waiting for pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and post-pregnancy. This tradition is a form of gratitude to God and a prayer for the safety of the mother-to-be, pregnant woman, fetus, and newborn baby. The purpose of this research is to examine the lingual forms used in the Betian tradition and to examine the value systems represented in these linguistic forms. This research is a qualitative-descriptive research. Data was collected using speech (interview) and observation methods, while data analysis used principles in anthropological linguistics, namely intralingual and extralingual matching methods. The results of this study show that the betian tradition is divided into 3 semantic domains, namely pre-pregnant (ngantih), pregnant (nebon), and post-pregnancy (nganak). Each semantic domain has lingual forms that are reflected in the naming of customary processions during the Betian tradition. The lingual form consisting of verbs, nouns, and adjectives represents a value system that is reflected in cultural behavior, such as joint prayer, mutual cooperation, celebrations, counting good days, and cultural inheritance.

Abstract

Background: Character education is a fundamental component of formal education, particularly in addressing moral and social challenges among students in contemporary society. Specific background: Literary texts grounded in local culture provide concrete representations of character values through narratives, traditions, and social interactions, as reflected in the novel Sanggarguri by Lalu Agus Fathurrahman. Knowledge gap: Previous studies on Sanggarguri have largely emphasized cultural and symbolic dimensions, while systematic analysis of character education values in relation to high school literature learning remains limited. Aims: This study aims to identify character education values embedded in the novel Sanggarguri and to describe their use within high school literature learning. Results: The analysis reveals five dominant values: respect, responsibility, tolerance, cooperation, and courage, manifested through characters’ attitudes, cultural rituals, and moral decision-making. Novelty: This study positions Sanggarguri as a local literary text that integrates Sasak cultural wisdom with character education values. Implications: The findings support the use of local novels as contextual teaching materials for high school literature learning, particularly in developing moral awareness, empathy, and cultural understanding in line with curriculum objectives. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk mekanisme pertahanan diri dan konflik yang dialami oleh tokoh Mas’ud dalam novel Yang Telah Lama Pergi karya Tere Liye menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra berlandaskan teori psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini menemukan bahwa tokoh Mas’ud menghadapi dinamika konflik internal antara dorongan id dan superego serta konflik eksternal akibat tekanan lingkungan, yang direspons melalui sepuluh bentuk mekanisme pertahanan diri guna menjaga keseimbangan psikisnya. Berdasarkan analisis data, mekanisme pertahanan represi menjadi bentuk yang paling mendominasi dengan 144 data, diikuti oleh rasionalisasi (62 data), reaksi formasi (10 data), sublimasi (9 data), agresi (6 data), apatis (6 data), stereotip (6 data), pengalihan (5 data), fantasi (4 data), dan proyeksi (3 data), yang mencerminkan upaya ego tokoh dalam beradaptasi dan mempertahankan eksistensi di tengah situasi yang menekan
