Abstract

Background: Diet DASH (Dietary Approaches To Stop Hypertension) is one of the methods to lowering high blood pressure. Dietary compliance is one of the important things that hypertensive patients need to care of. The hypertensive patients should obey DASH diet in order to avoid further complication. This study aims to discover the effect of DASH diet education on diet adherence and blood preesure re in hypertensive patients in Cilandak Marine Hospital, Jakarta.Method: This study used quasi experimental design with pretest-posttest one group design approaches. There were 75 respondents in this study which were obtained using purposive sampling type. The data were obtained from Cilandak Marine Hospital, Jakarta. The statistical analysis used paired sample t test. Result: The result of the study showed that dietary compliance of DASH diet with blood pressure in hypertensive patients in Cilandak Marine Hospital, Jakarta were categorized 3 parts as non compliants when the score is 31-45 for as many as 32 respondents (42,7%), fair compliants when the score is 46-60 for as many as 39 respondent (52,0%) and 4 respondents (5,3%) are categorized in compliant score 61-75. The analysis of the systole and diastole of the blood pressure before and after the intervention in hypertensive patients showed a significant related correlation (p=0,000) .Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between the dietary compliance of DASH diet with blood pressure in hypertensive patients in Cilandak Marine Hospital, Jakarta.

Abstract

Degenerative processes can decrease the endurance in elderly that leads to health problem such as gout. Gout is a metabolic disorder, which is indicated by an increase uric acid in bloodstream (hyperuricemia). Factors affecting high level of uric acid are purine intake, physical activity and nutritional status. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between consumption pattern of purine source food, nutritional status and physical activity with uric acid level in elderly. The study design was cross sectional. The sample consisted of 100 subyekts at Puskesmas Kecamatan Makasar. The analytical used chi square. Patterns of food consumption of purine sources were measured using FFQ questionnaires which was then cut off into into 2 categories: low-moderate purine category with score <55 and high purine category with a score of ≥55 physical activity and nutritional status were measured using questionnaires, uric acid levels was obtained by looking at laboratory results or from patients' medical records. There was 10% of subyekts withlo- moderate uric acid levels and 90% of subyekts with high purine consumption pattern. Based on the results of chi square test there was a significant difference (p <0.05) between the consumption pattern of purine source food with normal uric acid and high uric acid. There was a relationship between consumption pattern of purine food source with uric acid level in elderly.

Abstract

Vegetables and fruit are generally food groups that are consumed by many people because many contains of benefits. Even though, in Indonesia consumption of vegetables and fruit still less than recommendation. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors affecting the consumption of vegetables and fruit adolescent at SMP NEGERI 238 Jakarta. This research uses design cross sectional and sampling using system random sampling that gets 107 students class VII, VIII, and IX in January 2020. The data obtained is based on the result of the questionnaire, form SQ-FFQ and Recall 24hour. Statistic data analysis used chi-square and logistic regression test. The result of this study indicate that adolescent who consumed vegetables and fruit according to recommendations per day are 24,3%. Bivariate result indicate there were significant relationship between self efficacy (p = 0,034), availability vegetables and fruit (p = 0,048), parental influence (p = 0,032), and there is no significant relationship between knowledge (p= 0,063). Multivariate result indicate there were signification relationship between knowledge, self efficacy, availability vegetables and fruit, and parental influence to consumption of vegetables and fruit, with highest OR value 5,634 on parental influence.

Abstract

Perilaku penjamah makanan di rumah sakit baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dapat mempengaruhi kualitas makanan yang disajikan kepada pasien. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor (pengetahuan, sikap, persepsi responden terhadap sarana dan prasarana, Pelatihan/kursus penjamah makanan, persepsi responden terhadap aturan/ pengawasan) yang mempengaruhi perilaku higiene sanitasi penjamah makanan di Rumah Sakit Puri Cinere. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional pada 28 penjamah makanan di RS Puri Cinere. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat menggunakan korelasi spearman dengan p-value < 0,05 dengan bantuan program aplikasi statistik dalam pengolahannya. Terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan responden dengan perilaku higiene dan sanitasi (α=0.000) dengan kekuatan hubungan sangat kuat (r=0.795), terdapat hubungan antara sikap responden dengan perilaku higiene sanitasi (α=0,02) dengan kekuatan hubungan kuat (r=0.559). Terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap penjamah makanan dengan perilaku higiene sanitasi di Rumah Sakit Puri Cinere.

Abstract

In Indonesia, anemia in adolescents increased from 37.1% in 2013 to 48.9% in 2018, with the proportion of anemia in the age group 15-24 years and 25-34 years. Female adolescents who have anemia will be at risk of anemia during pregnancy, at risk of giving birth to LBW, and stunting. This study was to evaluate an iron tablet supplementation program for female adolescents in Pasar Rebo Health Care. This study was evaluation research that used the qualitative method with purposive sampling in January - February 2020. A qualitative study was conducted by in-depth interviews with nutritionists, health teachers, school administrators, and female adolescents. Data were analyzed by content analysis, included input, process, and output. Quantitative data were also collected which is hemoglobin and iron tablet compliance. At the input stage, there were discrepancies in the facilities and infrastructure. At the process, stage nonconformities occur in distribution, monitoring, recording, and reporting. At the output, stage nonconformities occur in target accuracy, time, and distribution. There were still incompatibilities in its implementation in Pasar Rebo Health Care.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the most non-communicable diseases in Indonesia. The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is 25.8% based on measurements at age ≥ 18 years. One of the factors that influence the occurrence of hypertension is sodium intake and several studies have shown that there is a relationship between hypertension and salt taste threshold. This study aimed to analyse the relationship between salt taste threshold and sodium intake with the incidence of hypertension at the age of 18-60 years in the Cimanggis District Health Center, Depok City in 2019. This study used a case control design of outpatients in the Cimanggis District Health Center, Depok City. Subjects were selected by purposive sampling technique. Data characteristics were collected using administered questionnaire. Sodium intake was measured using the SQ-FFQ, and salt taste threshold was measured using the Khobragade method, with 5 variation of sodium concentration. Sodium intake in the case group was higher than the control group, with an average sodium intake in the case group of 2,620 mg and in the control group of 2,100 mg. The taste threshold in the case group increased by 20% while in the control group as much as 12%. There was no significant relationship between salted taste threshold and the incidence of hypertension, but there was significant relationship between sodium intake and hypertension.

Abstract

Kebiasaan makan yang diperoleh semasa remaja akan berdampak pada kesehatan dalam fase kehidupan selanjutnya. Ketidakseimbangan antara asupan yang positif (berlebihan) dan keluaran energi mengakibatkan pertambahan berat badan. Pemilihan jenis jajanan yang dikonsumsi juga dapat mempengaruhi status gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan tingkat kecukupan energi, lemak dan kontribusi makanan jajanan terhadap status gizi (IMT/U) pada siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional pada siswa kelas VIIB dan kelas VIIC, sebanyak 62 responden. Data karakteristik siswa, kebiasaan membawa bekal, uang saku yang dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner, status gizi dikonversi dari hasil pengukuran antropometri (berat badan dan tinggi badan) dengan menggunakan standar antropometri WHO. Asupan makanan dan jajanan diambil dengan recall 24 jam selama 2 kali berturut – turut, kemudian dihitung dalam bentuk kalori dan dibandingkan dengan AKG 2013. Subyek dengan status gizi gemuk sebesar 24.2%. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kecukupan asupan energi dengan status gizi (p 0.022), tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kecukupan asupan lemak (p 0.892), kontribusi asupan energi makan jajanan (p 0.138), kontribusi asupan lemak makanan jajanan dengan status gizi (p 0.555). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kecukupan asupan energi dengan status gizi, tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kecukupan asupan lemak, kontribusi asupan energi makan jajanan, kontribusi asupan lemak makanan.

Abstract

Stunting berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan, perkembangan, kesehatan dan produktivitas. Di wilayah Jatinegara sebanyak 130 anak Bawah Garis Merah (BGM), sebanyak 80% merupakan balita Stunting. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian Stunting balita. Populasi penelitian ini adalah balita berusia 24-59 bulan di wilayah Jatinegara, sedangkan sasaran penelitian adalah ibu yang memiliki balita berusia 24-59 bulan.Desain yang digunakan adalah case control dan data yang diambil berupa data karakteristik, pengetahuan Air Susu Ibu (ASI) dan Makanan Pendamping ASI (MP-ASI), berat badan lahir, panjang lahir, pemberian ASI MP-ASI, serta data tinggi badan balita. Data dianalisis menggunakan program statistik dengan uji chi-square/fischer exact test. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan jumlah kasus 124 anak (54,1%) dan kontrol 105 anak (45,9%). Faktor yang mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan adalah berat badan lahir (p 0,001), pemberian ASI (p 0,028) dan pengetahuan pemberian MP-ASI (p 0,018), sedangkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara panjang badan lahir, pemberian MP-ASI dan tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang pemberian ASI dengan kejadian Stunting.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyebab utama risiko penyakit degeneratif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan kualitas tidur, persen lemak tubuh, status gizi dan asupan makan terhadap tekanan darah pada karyawan shift. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional pada 160 karyawan RS Dr.Suyoto Pusrehab Kemhan. Data dianalisis menggunakan ordinal correlation spearman rank. Proporsi tekanan darah tinggi dan rendah terbagi dua sama rata (50%) baik tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik. Sebanyak 76,9% responden memiliki kualitas tidur buruk. Proporsi persen lemak tubuh tinggi didapatkan angka 80% dan overwight sebesar 89,4%. Tidak ada hubungan signifikan terhadap asupan makan, persen lemak dan status gizi terhadap tekanan darah (p>0,05). Ada hubungan kualitas tidur buruk dengan tekanan darah (p<0,05). Kualitas tidur berhubungan secara signifikan dengan tekanan darah pada karyawan shift.

Abstract

Kurang Energi Kronis (KEK) pada ibu hamil dapat disebabkan oleh ketidakseimbangan asupan zat gizi makro terutama pada asupan energi dan protein dalam waktu yang cukup lama. Faktor-faktor yang dapat menyebabkan ibu KEK yaitu pengetahuan ibu hamil, sosial demografis dan ekonomi seperti usia, status perkawinan, tingkat pendidikan, ekonomi rumah tangga dan status kerawanan pangan. Ibu yang mengalami KEK pada saat kehamilan dapat menyebabkan keguguran dan Berat Bayi lahir Rendah (BBLR). Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan, kergaman pangan dan asupan gizi makro mikro terhadap KEK pada ibu hamil di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kecamatan Makasar Tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan desain cross sectional yang melibatkan 71 responden ibu hamil. Data pengetahuan dan keragaman pangan menggukan analisis chi square, sedangkan data asupan menggunkan analisis correlate spearman. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pengetahuan (p 0,004), keragaman pangan (p 0,003), asupan energi (p 0,011) dan asupan protein (p 0,043) terhadap KEK pada ibu hamil. Terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan, keragaman pangan dan asupan energi dan protein. Tidak ada hubungan antra asupan karhohidrat,lemak, vitamin C, asam folat, fe, kalsium dan iodium terhadap KEK pada ibu hamil.
