Abstract

Background. Along with the development of the era of globalization, which requires every individual to have a higher education to provide for the future. EPHICS 2.0 is here as a platform for the younger generation to showcase their capabilities and foster cooperative relationships between educational institutions in the tourism sector. Purpose. Knowing the management of sponsorship activities at the pre-implementation stage of EPHICS 2.0 2023, and understanding the obstacles and solutions to be carried out. Method. The type of research employed is qualitative, with a data analysis method that utilizes descriptive analysis. Result. The Prima International Tourism Polytechnic is holding the EPHICS 2.0 2023 Annual Event. Conclusion. The management of sponsorship activities during the sponsorship search process is conducted through a comprehensive procedure. The management was carried out by the Sponsorship team from start to finish. However, not all stages are carried out sequentially by the Sponsorship team. Such as the process of returning sponsorship contract forms and NPWP for some companies is carried out at the stage after the event. Implementation. The sponsoring company must be further improved so that the preparation process runs well.

Abstract

To properly understand da'wah, it must be through understanding the Qur'an as the main source of da'wah. However, the Qur'an can only be properly understood through interpretation. The purpose of this research is to analyze the verses of the Qur'an that are the basis of da'wah. This analysis is expected to provide a deeper understanding of the purpose and method of da'wah in accordance with the foundation of the Qur'an. The urgency of this research is made because effective da'wah can bring great benefits to individuals, communities, and nations. By understanding the foundation of da'wah from the Qur'an, it is hoped that dai and missionaries can carry out their duties better and optimally. This study uses a qualitative research method with a thematic interpretation approach. Based on the results of analysis and literature studies from various references, the results of this study are by understanding the foundation, purpose and method of da'wah according to the foundation in the Qur'an. His words are in Q.S Q.S Al-Baqarah: 214 and Q.S Al-Imron: 159 about the purpose of da'wah that this verse expressly explains that to obtain heaven from Allah, it is not enough just by faith. Muslims will be given various kinds of trials as befell the previous ummah as a test for them. Furthermore, in the Qur'an, Surah An-Nahl · Verse 125 conveys that Allah swt gives guidelines to His Messenger on how to invite people (da'wah) to the way of Allah

Abstract

Technological advances have had a significant impact on social life in Indonesia. One of the most significant impacts of technological advances in Indonesia is the emergence of social media. The emergence of social media has had a major impact on the way Indonesian people interact with each other. This research aims to find out the impact of the influence of technological advances on social life in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative research method, while the data collection technique is done by literature study. Then the data that has been collected is analyzed descriptively. The results showed that technological advances have had a major impact on social life in Indonesia, one of which is changing the way people interact in social life. This is because social media has enabled people to connect over long distances, facilitating communication and collaboration between people who may never meet. In addition to changing the way people interact with each other, technological advancements also create new challenges that must be overcome to ensure that all Indonesians can benefit from these technological advancements.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategies in differentiated learning carried out by English teachers in learning activities at SDI Mutiara Islam Al-Ittiba The method used by researchers in this study uses a qualitative approach, which uses interview techniques with sources to obtain accurate information. Differentiated learning is learning that adapts students' interests and talents to achieve good learning outcomes. Of course, this can be realized by using appropriate strategies that suit students' different learning styles. Therefore, teachers must support their students so they can achieve their learning goals. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that differentiated learning can significantly improve student learning outcomes by using appropriate strategies that suit students' learning styles to obtain maximum results.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of podcasts as a new platform in multiplatform journalism, especially in presenting in-depth and critical information to audiences in Indonesia. This study uses a content analysis method on two podcast episodes: "Deliberation-in Political Dynasties, SYL Corruption, and Mass Organization Mining Permits" from the Narasi Conference podcast and "Land for Rice Field Printing Projects in the Land of Papua" from the podcast Bocor Alus Tempo. The results of the study show that journalistic podcasts are able to present in-depth and interactive discussions on social, political, and environmental issues that are not always comprehensively raised by mainstream media. The study concludes that podcasts have great potential as a more flexible and reflective journalism medium, but they face challenges related to regulation, content credibility, and sustainable business models. The suggestions provided include improving ethical and regulatory standards in podcast content production, empowering indigenous peoples in development projects, and exploring business models that support the sustainability of independent podcasts in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze communication problems faced in religious missions, as well as to formulate recommendations to improve the effectiveness of communication in this context. This research also aims to explore how a more inclusive and adaptive communication approach can help in bridging cultural differences and reducing conflicts that arise in religious missions. Communication problems in religious missions are not only limited to cross-cultural contexts but also occur in internal communication between members of religious organizations. Poor communication can lead to misunderstandings among members, resulting in friction and conflict that is detrimental to the mission as a whole. It is obtained that the implementation of innovative and adaptive communication strategies, religious mission organizations can reach a wider audience and convey religious messages effectively.

Abstract

This research discusses polemics and political dynamics in Cirebon ahead of the 2024 Cirebon Mayor and Mayor Candidate General Election. As part of the democratic process, the general election in Cirebon presents a fierce competition between candidates driven by local political interests and the influence of elite groups. The study aims to identify the factors that cause tension and competition in these elections and to explore their impact on local communities. The method used was qualitative descriptive with purposive sampling, in-depth interviews, and participatory observation. The results of the study revealed that the "White and See" campaign strategy and the limited capital of candidates were key factors in the decline in campaign enthusiasm. In addition, the emergence of a coalition of major political parties has further increased political tensions and polarization in Cirebon. These findings are expected to contribute to understanding the impact of political polemics on social stability and local democracy.

Abstract

Digital transformation has created a new space for religious authority formation, encouraging the emergence of online religious figures that influence urban Muslim communities. This study aims to understand the perceptions of urban Muslim communities regarding online religious authority and to identify the factors that influence their acceptance or skepticism of online religious figures. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 30 respondents from Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya, and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques assisted by NVivo 14. The results show that perceptions of online religious authorities are selective and contextual; 40% of respondents trust traditional clerics more, 25% accept online preachers, 20% show skepticism, and 15% adopt situational trust. Factors such as educational background, communication skills, openness, and consistency of teachings are key in building trust. This research highlights the importance of strengthening digital literacy in the realm of religion. It underscores the need for an online preaching certification program to maintain the credibility of the digital space. The findings make a crucial contribution to understanding the dynamics of religious authority in the digital era and form the basis for developing effective da'wah strategies that are relevant to the needs of contemporary urban Muslim communities.

Abstract

Pendidikan moral merupakan fondasi penting bagi perkembangan dan kemajuan pendidikan Islam di era saat ini. Indonesia, sebagai negara dengan mayoritas Muslim terbesar di dunia, membutuhkan pendidikan moral yang kuat sebagai bagian dari pendidikan Islam yang efektif bagi generasi masa depan. Tantangan yang dihadapi tidak hanya terkait dengan kekurangan dalam pendidikan moral, tetapi juga dengan kurangnya pendidikan Islam secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, dengan fokus pada deskriptif-analitis. Hal ini memungkinkan penelitian untuk mengandalkan artikel, buku, jurnal, dan sumber berita lain yang relevan. Dalam menangani masalah pendidikan moral, penting untuk mempertimbangkan peningkatan akhlak dan moral yang berakar pada Al-Qur'an dan Hadis, sehingga generasi masa depan memiliki fondasi iman dan Islam yang kokoh.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam jaringan internet di kalangan remaja menjadi hal yang sangat krusial dan perlu perhatian lebih saat ini. Menurut data dari kominfo Penggunaan media sosial dan digital menjadi bagian yang menyatu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari anak muda Indonesia. Studi ini menemukan bahwa 98 persen dari anak-anak dan remaja yang disurvei tahu tentang internet dan bahwa 79,5 persen diantaranya adalah pengguna internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak penggunaan media sosial terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis remaja, dengan fokus pada kecemasan dan depresi. Dalam era digital saat ini, remaja semakin bergantung pada media sosial sebagai sarana komunikasi, interaksi sosial, dan eksplorasi identitas. Namun, terdapat kekhawatiran tentang efek negatif yang mungkin ditimbulkan oleh penggunaan berlebihan atau tidak sehat dari media sosial pada kesejahteraan psikologis remaja. Metode penelitian yaitu menggunakan kualitatif yang digunakan untuk memfasilitasi karakter eksplorasi penelitian. untuk menyelidiki dampak penggunaan media sosial terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis remaja, dengan fokus pada kecemasan dan depresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan, eksposur terhadap cyberbullying, dan perbandingan sosial yang sering terjadi di media sosial dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kecemasan dan depresi remaja. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan membahas faktor-faktor moderasi yang mempengaruhi hubungan antara media sosial dan kesejahteraan psikologis remaja, seperti dukungan sosial offline, regulasi penggunaan media sosial, akan mengeksplorasi bukti-bukti yang ada dan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang hubungan antara penggunaan media sosial dan tingkat kecemasan serta depresi pada remaja. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya memahami pengaruh media sosial pada kesejahteraan psikologis remaja dan merumuskan implikasi penting untuk pendidikan, pengasuhan, dan intervensi di masa depan.
