Abstract

Variasi beban menyebabkan osilasi pada generator, mempengaruhi frekuensi dan sudut rotor. Untuk meningkatkan kestabilan generator, terutama pada saat terjadi perubahan beban, diperlukan peralatan kendali tambahan. Static Synchronous Series Compensator (SSSC) adalah perangkat elektronika daya flexible ac transmission systems (FACTS) devices yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan stabilitas dan pengendalian sistem tenaga. Kontrol Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) adalah metode kontrol konvensional yang tangguh dan sederhana yang saat ini masih banyak digunakan dalam kontrol proses. Untuk mendapatkan kinerja PID-SSSC yang optimal, diperlukan koordinasi yang tepat. Pada penelitian ini diusulkan suatu metode optimasi berbasis kecerdasan buatan yang dikenal dengan metode Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Efektifitas PID-SSSC pada penelitian ini diuji pada sistem Single Machine Infinite Bus (SMIB). Hasil analisis menunjukkan implementasi PID-SSSC berbasis PSO memberikan hasil yang optimal untuk menunjang kinerja SMIB khususnya saat terjadi perubahan beban. Hasil optimasi menunjukkan fitness function 0.01117. Proses komputasi PSO dalam melakukan optimasi parameter PID-SSSC konvergen pada iterasi ke 24. Kontribusi PID-SSSC mampu memberikan kestabilan yang optimal pada sistem SMIB sehingga osilasi overshoot yang terjadi dapat diredam saat terjadi variasi perubahan beban.

Abstract

Prediction of electrical load on 150 kV Sulselrabar electrical system, analyzed using approach at night peak load using Fuzzy Logic based intelligent method. The peak load characteristics are certainly different from the load in normal time, therefore a special approach is needed to predict the peak night load. As input data will be used data of night peak load in 2010 until 2015, on the same day and date, each 4 days before day-H or day date which will be predicted load. For the data processing stage is divided into several stages, namely pre-processing, processing, and post-processing. The load data processing follows several procedures, ie computing WDmax, LDmax, TLDmax and VLDmax each year. Data processing is processed using excel software and then using Matlab software to run Fuzzy Logic. From the analysis results obtained, Error Prediction The peak evening load is very small that is equal to -0.070033687%. As comparison data used actual day-H data is April 2016. Abstract

To maximize the performance of DC motors, the proper use of the controller is crucial. Design of Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller on dc motor has been done frequently. The use of PID controllers requires proper parameter setting to achieve optimal performance on the motor. Commonly used is the trial-error method, to determine the parameters of the PID controller, but the results obtained do not make the PID controller optimal and will actually damage the system. Therefore, in this research we will propose one of PID parameter tuning method, that is by using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), to optimize and determine the proper parameters of PID. PSO is one of the smart methods inspired by the behavior of particles that search for food sources in groups, this concept is adapted and applied into intelligent algorithms to solve optimization problems. From the results obtained the PSO method can well tune the parameters of PID, where for Kp 57.2409, ki = 23.7090, and kd = 9.3575. Response speed after PID receiver, resulting overshoot does not exist and settling time is very fast.

Abstract

Pengaturan kecepatan pada motor sinkron menjadi permasalahan pada sebuah operasi motor sinkron. Salah satu metode pengaturan kecepatan motor adalah dengan penambahan kontroler PID. Parameter PID harus dituning dengan baik untuk mendapatkan kecepatan optimal. Salah satu metode penalaan dengan menggunakan metode cerdas berbasis koloni semut. Algoritma Ant Coloni pada prinsipnya mencari sumber makanan berdasarkan jejak feromone yang kemudian secara berkelompok akan mengikuti jejak yang memiliki feromone yang terbesar. Dengan prinsip ini algoritma akan mencari parameter yang paling optimal untuk diisikan pada parameter PID, sehingga didapatkan kendali optimal pada kecepatan Motor sinkron. Hasil optimasi ant colony didapatkan nilai fitness function sebesar 1.8833e+04, dengan 50 kali iterasi yang konvergen pada iterasi ke-10, dan parameter nilai PID yang optimal di mana, parameter P (Proportional) sebesar 0.7431, I (Integral) sebesar 0.3510, dan D (Derivative) sebesar 0.1385. Dengan beberapa case kecepatan pada Motor sinkron, dengan kendali PID Ant Colony didapatkan kinerja system optimal dengan overshoot yang minimum dan settling yang cepat.

Abstract

Abstract--The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of the transistor before it is used in the circuit. Transistors are semiconductor devices used as amplifiers, as circuit breakers and connectors (switching), voltage stabilization, signal modulation or as other functions. Transistor performance can be seen by testing input-output characteristics. Multisim is an electronic capture and schematic simulation program that is part of a series of circuit design programs, together with NI Ultiboard. Multisim can properly simulate electronic components.

Abstract

Penelitian dimulai dengan pembuatan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak mikrokontroler, dan perakitan Zero Crossing Detector berfungsi untuk mensinkronkan antara input dan output yang digunakan untuk pemrograman waktu tunda sudut picu TRIAC dan pembentukan generator sinyal gigi geregaji rangkaian  komparator sebagai pembanding antara rangkaian kontrol dan sinyal gigi gergaji yang berfungsi pembentukan sinyal PWM. Dari bentuk gelombang yang didapatkan dibuat pembangkit pulsa PWM satu fasa kemudian dapat dilihat bentuk sinyal yang diamati dengan osiloskop. Selanjutnya dilakukan dengan pengamatan bentuk gelombang PWM tegangan keluaran dan kecepatan motor berdasarkan perubahan suhu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan suhu dan kecepatan putar motor induksi untuk frekuensi tetap 50 Hz dengan 7 indeks modulasi berbeda dengan metode PWM sinusioda berbasis mikrokontroler dapat menghasilkan putaran motor yang berubah-ubah. Kata Kunci—Motor Induksi satu fasa; PWM; dan Mikrokontroler

Abstract

This paper is proposed to demonstrate the implementation of Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) for solving the optimal operation of the Integrated Electricity and Natural Gas System (IENGS). The MILP is used to realize an economical and reliable power electricity system based on Dynamic Optimal Power and Gas Flow (DOPGF) considering Take or Pay (TOP) agreements for natural gas. This method is simulated on the integrated 6-bus electricity and 6-node natural gas systems. By using MILP, the best costs for optimal operation of IENGS are obtained in three scenarios. The superiority of the MILP is validated by suppressing the increasing best cost for optimal operation to be below 10%. In the first case, the best cost is $735,405.37 without the TOP agreement. In the second scenario, the best cost ranges from $748,399.30 to $760,320.57 with the TOP agreement implemented in one-by-one generators, which is 1.77% to 3.39% higher than the first scenario. In the third case, the best cost is $791,833.04 with the TOP agreement in all of the generators, which is 7.67% higher than the first scenario. In addition, the MILP can perform the DOPGF for IENGS without violating the problem constraints regarding the load demand fulfillment and power system limitations in both coal-fired and gas-fired generators.

Abstract

This research proposes an additional controller for load frequency control at a micro hydro power plant using PID-SMES. The PID-SMES parameters are optimized using smart methods called Ant Colony Optimization (ACO), which could find the optimal value of PID-SMES. In this paper four control approaches are compared which are P, PI, PID, SMES, and PID-SMES. From the simulation results, it can be obtained that overshoot of P controller is -0.0002193, with PI Controller is -0.0002183, with PD Controller is -0.0002139, with PID controller is -0.0002129, with SMES controller is -0.0001958, and with PID-SMES is -4.187e-05. ACO optimization results obtained fitness function value of 7.15e-09, with 50 iterations. The minimum value of the system performance function at each iteration is plotted on the convergence graph. In the simulation result, it can be concluded that the ACO algorithm could be quickly convergence on the 14th iteration or find the most optimal value at the 9th iteration. The PID-SMES controller proposed in this study has a significant influence in the damping of the oscillation of frequency deviation. Therefore, PID-SMES is appropriate to be applied to micro-hydro power plant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk aktifitas mengukur dan memonitor berbagai indikator-indikator kesehatan secara rutin dan berkesinambungan yang mengeksploitasi keunggulan teknologi sensor memberikan dampak positif yang besar bagi kesehatan dan untuk memberikan solusi yang lebih efisien dan optimal bagi pihak tenaga medis (dokter, perawat, atau pihak berwenang lainnya) dalam memberikan pelayanan medik yang lebih mutakhir dan memuaskan kepada masyarakat luas. Melalui tindakan perawatan yang intensif, berkesinambungan dan efisien ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi resiko kematian pasien akibat kelalaian dalam mengambil tindakan medis yang cepat dan tepat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membuat metode rancangan jangka panjang dengan menyesuaikan fungsi sensor-sensor dan dilakukan eksperiment, yaitu pembuatan sistem multi sensor sesuai dengan metode yang telah dibuat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa alat sensor detak nadi dan sensor suhu LM35 dapat ditransmisikan dengan menggunakan media transmisi Bluetooth dengan jarak baca sensivitas mencapai 17 meter dengan nilai throughput 1-0.75 Kbps. Setelah dilakukan pengujian dan pengukuran validasi data maka ditarik kesimpulan bahwa untuk pengukuran detak nadi mendapatkan nilai error 3.88% sedangkan untuk pengukuran suhu tubuh mendapatkan nilai error 16.94%.

Abstract

Due to development of technology in recent years, complexity and nonlinearity of mechanical and electrical system are increasing significantly. Inverted pendulum is nonlinear system that has become popular in recent years. However, inverted pendulum is nonlinear and unstable system. Therefore appropriate design controller of inverted pendulum system is crucial. Hence, this paper proposed, design of inverted pendulum system based on imperialist competitive algorithm (ICA). In order to design the controller, dynamic model of inverted pendulum system is used. Time domain simulation is used to address the controller performance. From the simulation result, it is found that imperialist competitive algorithm can be used to design inverted pendulum system controller.
