Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of research on work engagement in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from 2020 to 2024 using a bibliometric approach. The method used is bibliometric analysis with the help of VOSviewer software for data visualization. Data was collected from the Dimensions database using the keywords "work engagement", "SMEs", and "Indonesia". The results show a significant increase in the number of publications and citations related to work engagement in SMEs during this period. Four main research clusters were identified: collaboration and communication, employee creativity and self-efficacy, innovative work behavior, and affective commitment and job satisfaction. Research trends have shifted from the basic concept of work engagement to its practical application in the context of digital transformation, innovation, and SME business sustainability. The COVID-19 pandemic has become a catalyst for research exploring the role of work engagement in SME resilience and adaptation. The need for further research integrating work engagement with contemporary issues such as digitalization and SME business resilience was revealed. The novelty of this research lies in the comprehensive analysis of work engagement research trends in Indonesian SMEs using a bibliometric approach, which has not been widely done before. This study provides a holistic mapping of the development of work engagement studies in SMEs and identifies future research directions.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the self-management skills of students at SMP Kanisius Muntilan through training in the use of Google Calendar. The background of the issue highlights that students often face challenges in balancing academic activities, extracurricular engagements, and rest time. Limited access to additional educational programs outside of school further exacerbates this condition. This training is designed to provide an understanding of the importance of time management as well as practical skills in creating daily schedules, setting priorities, and managing stress. The implementation method involves a series of activities, including program socialization, intensive training on Google Calendar features and utilization, direct application of technology in schedule planning, as well as regular mentoring and evaluation to ensure effective understanding and application. The training results indicate a significant improvement in students' self-management skills. Students reported increased abilities in managing their time, setting task priorities, and utilizing Google Calendar features to enhance learning efficiency. Additionally, the program has had a positive impact on students' mental well-being, with many feeling more capable of managing stress and academic pressure. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating technology into education as a tool to help students develop skills relevant to modern demands. This program is expected to serve as a model for other schools in their efforts to empower youth and improve educational quality through the optimal use of technology.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between financial performance, environmental performance, and corporate governance on sustainability disclosures (sustainability reports). Financial performance is measured using liquidity, solvency, and profitability, whereas environmental performance is measured using environmental costs and the PROPER rating achieved by the company. The corporate governance variable in this study was measured through independent commissioners, audit committees, and institutional ownership. The dependent variable is sustainability disclosure (sustainability reports). This study uses a population and sample of non-cyclical sector companies that published financial statements and sustainability reports from 2021 to 2023. The sample was selected using stratified random sampling, resulting in 135 companies meeting the research criteria. Data analysis employed classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing using the least-squares method. The findings indicate that financial performance, environmental cost-related performance, and institutional ownership significantly influence sustainability reporting. In contrast, PROPER-based environmental performance, independent commissioners, and audit committees did not have a significant effect. The moderating variable, community/media pressure, did not moderate the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. These findings serve as a reference for encouraging better corporate governance practices to support environmental sustainability, thus fostering harmony in environmental preservation

Abstract

According to the research, the employee retention in digital-based companies has been influenced significantly by employer branding, organizational commitment, and the quality of the digital work environment. An image of a great company can not only become a source of pride but also love for the employees' hearts, which in turn will decrease their need to exit the organization. More so, loyalty to the company is strengthened when employees feel that their personal values are in line with the company's vision, mission, and work culture. Besides that, the support of a digital work environment that provides flexibility, efficiency, and easy access to technology can be a factor in spreading a more comfortable and nice work atmosphere. These results reveal that retention policies in tech companies are not only dependent on monetary aspects. Attention is also needed to pay attention to the company's reputation, the psychological relationship between individuals and the organization, and the provision of work facilities relevant to current needs. Therefore, company management needs to consistently strengthen the company's brand as an ideal workplace, foster commitment through a supportive work environment, and make continuous investments in digital infrastructure that supports productivity. With these steps, digital companies can build employee loyalty and maintain the sustainability of superior talent, the main foundation for winning the competition in the digital economy era.
