Abstract

This research explores the role of digital technology, critical education, and the practice of professionalism of grade 3 teachers in the digital era, focusing on the context of SD Djamaatul Ichwan Surakarta. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with grade 3 teachers and observation of learning activities. The results showed that digital technology positively impacts student learning, but needs teacher supervision so that students are not exposed to negative content. Critical education is integrated in the curriculum with diverse approaches, creating a holistic learning environment. Challenges in implementing critical education were identified, requiring teacher awareness in the presentation of materials. School institutions provide physical support and regular training. Integrating technology and critical education creates a learning environment supporting the development of students' critical skills. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of education in the digital era. Keywords: Critical Education, Teacher Professionalism, Primary School

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the values of moderation education contained in the teaching books of Islamic Culture History Class X for Madrasah Aliyah. The research method used is content analysis with a qualitative approach. Research data is collected through observations and documentation on material related to moderation education. The results show that the textbook contains some of the values of moderation, such as tolerance, justice, discretion, and balance. Implications of these findings are the importance of moderation education in shaping moderate attitudes and behavior in students. Therefore, the textbook of Islamic Culture History of Class X Madrasah Aliyah can be an effective resource in introducing and reinforcing the values of Moderation to students.

Abstract

In order for students to have good religious and moral values, cultivation of moral and religious values is very important given from early so that when students move into higher levels already have the knowledge and experience that they gained at the time of preschool age. This study aims to find out the methods of teachers in instilling religious and moral values in early childhood at kindergarten in the city of Surakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive study involving 10 teachers of kindergarten in the city of Surakarta. Data analysis uses descripative qualitational analysis that includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawings. The results of the research showed that the methods of teachers in instilling religious and moral values in early childhood in the kindergarten in the city of Surakarta have been very good, effective and performed optimally. The teacher's method of instilling religious and moral values in early childhood is by telling stories, demonstrating, practicing, playing and singing.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the correlation between Emotional Intelligence and the performance of TKIT Nurussalam Grogol Sukoharjo teachers. The type of research used is descriptive research with a quantitative, correlational approach. The research subject was the TKIT Nurussalam Grogol Sukoharjo teacher. Meanwhile, the data collection method in this research uses a questionnaire. The sample and population in this study were 24 TKIT Nurussalam Grogol teachers. Meanwhile, the sample used 8 teachers at the school. Statistically, the researcher's hypothesis is called H1, while H0 is the opposite of the researcher's hypothesis, which means that H0 is that there is no relationship between emotional intelligence (eQ) and the performance of TKIT Nurussalam Grogol teachers for the 2023/2024 academic year. Researchers also carried out normality tests, normality tests using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. It is known that the significant value is 0.988, from here it is clear that the significance value is greater than 0.05, which means the data is normally distributed. After carrying out normality and hypothesis tests, and because the coefficient value is negative, the direction of the relationship between these 2 variables is not in the same direction. And from the resulting output it is known that the significance value is 0.588, and because the significance value is greater than 0.05, it means that there is an insignificant relationship between emotional intelligence. with teacher performance at TKIT Nurussalam Grogol Sukoharjo for the 2023/2024 academic year. Then to conclude the output results above, if ρ count > ρ table then Ho is rejected. From the existing data, if N = 8 and α 5% then the ρ table is 0.738, so it can be concluded that Ho is accepted, namely there is no relationship between emotional intelligence (eQ) and the performance of TKIT Nurussalam Grogol teachers for the 2023/2024 academic year.   ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Korelasi antara Kecerdasan Emosional Terhadap kinerja guru TKIT Nurussalam Grogol Sukoharjo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuatitatif yang berjenis korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah Guru TKIT Nurussalam Grogol Sukoharjo. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Sampel dan populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Guru TKIT Nurussalam  Grogol sebanyak 24. Sedangkan sampel menggunakan 8 orang guru di sekolah tersebut. Secara statistic maka hipotesis peneliti ini disebut dengan H1 ,Sedangkan H0 adalah kebalikan dari hipotesis peneliti yang berarti H0 adalah Tidak ada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi (eQ) dengan kinerja guru TKIT Nurussalam Grogol tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Peneliti juga melakukan uji normalitas,uji normalitas menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Diketahui bahwa nilai signifikan sebesar 0.988 ,dari sini Nampak jelas bahwa nilai signifikasi lebih besar dari 0.05,yang berarti data berdistribusi normal. Setelah melakukan uji normalitas dan hipotesis, Dan karena nilai koefisien negative maka arah hubungan 2 variabel ini tidak searah.dan dari output yang dihasilkan diketahui nilai signifikasi sebesar 0.588,dan karena nilai signifikasi lebih besar dari 0.05 maka artinya ada hubungan yang tidak signifikan  antara kecerdasan emosi dengan kinerja guru di TKIT Nurussalam Grogol Sukoharjo tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Kemudian untuk menyimpulkan hasil output di atas,jika ρ hitung > ρ table maka Ho ditolak. Dari data yang ada bila N = 8 dan α 5%  maka ρ  table sebesar 0.738,sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa Ho diterima yaitu Tidak ada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi (eQ) dengan kinerja guru TKIT Nurussalam Grogol tahun ajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the professional role of teachers in improving children's language intelligence at Kindergarten A Cahaya Insani Jumapolo, focusing on teaching strategies, learning methods, learning environment and partnership with parents. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through participatory observation, interviews with teachers, and document analysis related to the curriculum and teaching methods used in the kindergarten. The results showed that teachers play an important role in the development of children's linguistic intelligence in kindergarten. They use a variety of teaching strategies such as stories, songs, games, and art activities to stimulate children's overall language skills. The use of these strategies helps children to be actively involved in the learning process, which increases their motivation and learning success. In addition, teachers use child-centered learning methods that take into account individual interests, needs and developmental levels. This approach helps create a more relevant and meaningful learning experience for children and improves their language skills. A conducive learning environment is also a focus of the teacher's role by creating a safe, comfortable and stimulating space where children feel free to express and experiment with their language. This allows the child to develop their language skills.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendalami peran profesional guru dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan bahasa anak pada TK A Cahaya Insani Jumapolo, dengan fokus pada strategi pengajaran, metode pembelajaran, lingkungan belajar, dan kemitraan dengan orang tua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara dengan guru, dan analisis dokumen terkait kurikulum serta metode pengajaran yang digunakan di TK tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memainkan peran penting dalam pengembangan kecerdasan bahasa anak di TK tersebut. Guru menggunakan beragam strategi pengajaran, seperti cerita, lagu, permainan, dan kegiatan seni, untuk merangsang kemampuan bahasa anak secara menyeluruh. Penerapan strategi-strategi ini membantu anak terlibat secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, meningkatkan motivasi dan keberhasilan belajar. Selain itu, guru menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang berpusat pada anak, dengan memperhatikan minat, kebutuhan, dan tingkat perkembangan individu. Pendekatan ini membantu dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih relevan dan bermakna bagi anak, serta meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak. Lingkungan belajar yang kondusif juga menjadi fokus dalam peran guru, dengan menciptakan ruang yang aman, nyaman, dan merangsang di mana anak merasa bebas untuk berekspresi dan bereksperimen dengan bahasa anak. Hal ini memungkinkan anak untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbahasa anak tanpa hambatan. Selanjutnya, peran guru dalam membangun kemitraan dengan orang tua terbukti penting dalam mendukung pengembangan bahasa anak di luar lingkungan sekolah. Melalui komunikasi terbuka dan kolaboratif, guru dapat mengintegrasikan pengalaman belajar di rumah dengan pengalaman belajar di sekolah, menciptakan kesinambungan yang memperkuat kemampuan bahasa anak secara holistik. Secara keseluruhan, temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya peran guru sebagai agen utama dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung dan merangsang untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan bahasa anak pada usia dini.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of teacher professionalism in increasing the independence of young children at TKTQ Al Hikmah Boyolali and what factors hinder the development of children's independence. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects used were class teachers and the principal at TKTQ Al Hikmah Boyolali. Data collection techniques use interview and observation techniques. The results of the research conducted show that the role of teacher professionalism in increasing children's independence at TKTQ Al Hikmah Boyolali is very good where teachers carry out 6 roles that can help develop children's independence, including; role in providing positive understanding, role in getting children to be neat, role in providing games, role in giving children choices according to their interests, role in building communication with the child's parents. Meanwhile, the factors that hinder the development of children's independence are internal factors (different children's characters) and external factors (parental parenting and environment). ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran profesionalisme guru dalam meningkatkan kemandirian anak usia dini di TKTQ Al Hikmah Boyolali serta apa saja faktor yang menghambat perkembangan kemandirian anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah guru kelas dan Kepala Sekolah di TKTQ Al Hikmah Boyolali. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa peran profesionalisme guru dalam meningkatkan kemandirian anak di TKTQ Al Hikmah Boyolali sudah sangat baik  dimana guru menjalankan 6 peranan yang dapat membantu mengembangkan kemandirian anak, antara lain; peran dalam memberikan pemahaman positif, Peran dalam membiasakan anak untuk rapi Peran dalam memberikan permainan, Peran dalam memberikan anak pilihan sesuai dengan minat, Peran dalam membangun komunikasi dengan orangtua anak Sedangkan faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam perkembangan kemandirian anak ada faktor intemal (karakter anak yang berbeda) dan faktor ekstemal (pola asuh orangtua dan lingkungan).

Abstract

This study explores teachers' professional role in improving children's fine motor skills through finger painting activities at RA Islam Irmassss. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to deeply understand this phenomenon. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation of teachers and children involved in finger painting activities. The results showed that teachers have an important role in developing children's fine motor skills through finger painting, acting as facilitators, models, and mentors. Children show active participation and positive response to this activity. Teachers use a variety of creative teaching strategies to facilitate meaningful learning experiences for children. The implications of this study for educational practice include the improvement of teachers' teaching strategies in finger painting activities and their relevance to the early childhood education curriculum. The results of this study highlight the important role of teachers in supporting children's fine motor development and contribute to the development of more effective educational practices in early childhood education settings. Abstract

This research aims to investigate the relationship between welfare and performance of early childhood education teachers. It employs a qualitative approach, allowing for an in-depth understanding of teachers' experiences and perceptions regarding welfare and its influence on their performance. Research participants consist of teachers teaching at TK Ar Rahman Tasikmadu, Karanganyar, selected through purposive sampling techniques to obtain variations in their experiences and perspectives. Data are collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, focusing on the aspects of welfare they experience in the workplace and their perceptions of performance as a result of welfare. Data analysis utilizes a thematic analysis approach to identify thematic patterns in the interviews and understand the relationship between welfare and teacher performance. The results of this research indicate that teacher certification serves as an indicator of teacher welfare to enhance their performance in schools. This study provides a better understanding of how teacher welfare affects their performance at TK Ar Rahman Tasikmadu and offers insights for the development of policies and human resource management practices that support welfare and performance of teachers in early childhood education institutions. Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini untuk membentuk dasar moral yang kuat. Pendidikan karakter di usia dini menjadi krusial karena pada masa inilah anak-anak mulai membentuk kebiasaan, nilai-nilai, dan perilaku yang akan mereka bawa hingga dewasa. Raudhatul Athfal Chairunnisa Sukoharjo menggunakan kisah para nabi sebagai media pembelajaran karena kisah-kisah ini mengandung nilai-nilai moral yang mendalam dan universal. Kisah para nabi tidak hanya menawarkan cerita yang menarik, tetapi juga menyampaikan pesan moral yang kuat seperti kejujuran, kesabaran, keberanian, dan kasih sayang. Pendekatan ini dipilih karena cerita adalah salah satu cara paling efektif untuk menarik perhatian anak-anak dan membantu mereka memahami konsep moral yang kompleks. Dengan mendengarkan kisah para nabi, anak-anak dapat melihat contoh nyata tentang perilaku positif yang dapat mereka teladani. Selain itu, kisah-kisah ini mampu menjangkau berbagai aspek perkembangan anak, termasuk kognitif, sosial, dan emosional, sehingga memberikan dampak yang holistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas pendidikan karakter melalui kisah para nabi pada anak usia dini di Raudhatul Athfal Chairunnisa Sukoharjo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kisah para nabi efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai positif pada anak usia dini. Anak-anak menunjukkan peningkatan dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, kesabaran, keberanian, dan kasih sayang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kisah para nabi sebagai media pendidikan karakter adalah strategi yang efektif untuk mendukung perkembangan moral anak usia dini di Raudhatul Athfal Chairunnisa Sukoharjo. Dengan demikian, strategi ini bisa menjadi model bagi lembaga pendidikan lain yang ingin mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum mereka.
