Abstract

This literature review explores the influence of song implementation on the development of language skills in early childhood. Songs are widely used as an engaging educational tool to introduce children to vocabulary, sentence structures, and concepts such as counting and environmental knowledge. This study aims to examine how the integration of songs in early learning environments supports language acquisition and communication development. Using a qualitative literature review approach, relevant studies were analyzed to identify patterns in the use of music for linguistic stimulation. The findings highlight that songs significantly enhance children's vocabulary, facilitate faster word recall, and improve long-term memory retention. Moreover, singing activities help reduce language delays by creating a relaxed, enjoyable learning atmosphere that encourages verbal expression. These results underscore the importance of incorporating music-based methods in early childhood education as a strategy to optimize language development.

Abstract

Educational problems in general are often faced by students from the beginning of school, they often find it difficult to adjust to their environment, teachers, school rules, friends at school and so on. This study aims to determine the interaction of democratic parenting, peer assistance, and interest in learning partially or together on the logical thinking ability of students in Group B Kindergarten Gugus Anggrek, Jaten District.This study uses a quantitative design with an emphasis on explanation (explanatory research). The population consisted of all guardians of students and kindergarten students from the Orchid cluster, Jaten District, Karanganyar Regency which consisted of 5 kindergarten institutions. The sample is 45 kindergarten students in group B, with n random methods. The questionnaire instrument was first tested for validity and reliability on students other than respondents. Data analysis technique using Multiple Linear Regression test. The results showed that partially democratic parenting and interest had a positive and significant effect, while peer assistance had a positive but not significant effect on logical thinking ability. Simultaneously, the three variables have a positive and significant impact on logical thinking skills

Abstract

Pendidikan lingkungan hidup merupakan upaya untuk mengubah perilaku dan sikap masyarakat guna meningkatkan kesadaran akan nilai-nilai lingkungan. Program Adiwiyata, sebagai bagian dari pendidikan lingkungan hidup, diperkenalkan sebagai penghargaan bagi sekolah yang menerapkan pendidikan lingkungan hidup secara benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan Program Sekolah Adiwiyata di SD Negeri 1 Kutosari, Kecamatan Kebumen, Kabupaten Kebumen. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan pemikiran dan masukan dalam pengembangan manajemen pendidikan, serta memberikan acuan bagi penelitian selanjutnya. Manfaat praktisnya mencakup evaluasi dan refleksi bagi komunitas adat, pengalaman dan pengetahuan bagi anak sekolah dasar, peningkatan kesadaran multikultural bagi sekolah, masukan bagi guru, dan kontribusi pada kekayaan ilmu pengetahuan tentang kearifan lokal budaya di bidang pendidikan karakter anak usia sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program Adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 1 Mrebet. Sekolah ini telah meraih predikat Adiwiyata terbaik tingkat nasional. Penelitian dilakukan melalui metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, staf TU, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan berwawasan lingkungan telah diintegrasikan dalam visi sekolah. Implementasi Adiwiyata melibatkan seluruh elemen sekolah dan terintegrasi dalam KTSP, RKT, dan RKAS. Faktor pendukung mencakup sarana prasarana dan sumber daya manusia. Program ini memberikan manfaat signifikan dalam membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan, seperti peningkatan disiplin siswa, kerjasama antarregu piket, dan inovasi siswa. Terdapat pula kendala, seperti pemahaman terbatas dan semangat yang fluktuatif. Meskipun demikian, Adiwiyata membawa manfaat besar dalam aspek edukatif, sosial, ekonomis, dan estetika di SMP Negeri 1 Mrebet.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilakukan mengembangkan produk flashcard berbasis rughmented reality guna meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 di SDN 1 Genjeng. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan mengadopsi metode penelitian ADDIE. Data diperoleh melalui observasi proses pembelajaran, wawancara dengan guru kelas, validasi ahli meliputi ahli media, materi, dan bahasa, serta uji coba lapangan yang melibatkan siswa. Media yang dihasilkan diintegrasikan pada kegiatan pembelajaran membaca permulaan dengan menggunakan tampilan visual tiga dimensi yang interaktif sehingga membantu siswa dalam mengenal huruf, menyusun kata, dan memahami makna bacaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat respon positif dari siswa terhadap penggunaan media yang ditunjukkandengan keaktifan, kepercayaan diri siswa dan ketertarikan siswa terhadap media. Hasil uji efektifitas juga memperlihatkan peningkatan kemmapuan membaca permulaan siswa secara signifikan. Peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa ditunjukkan melalui hasil perbandingan pretest dan posttest siswa. Melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran flashcard berbasis aughmented reality yang dirancang secara kontekstual dan disesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa menunjukkan kelayakan dan efektifitasnya dalam mendukung peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The low reading ability of second-grade students at Babadan Elementary School, with an average achievement of only 55%, emphasizes the need for more engaging and child-friendly learning media. Canva-based digital comics were chosen because they present engaging visuals, simple storylines, and enjoyable learning experiences. This study aims to develop digital comic media and test its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving elementary school students' reading abilities. The study used the ADDIE Research and Development (R&D) model, including needs analysis, media design, product development, implementation through pretest-posttest, and evaluation using the N-Gain Score. The research subjects were second-grade students at Babadan Elementary School and Bodor Elementary School 1. The results showed that the media's validity was very high (media experts 97.22%, language experts 93.75%, material experts 96.66%), confirming that the media met the standards for design, language, and material feasibility. In terms of practicality, the media scored 96.87%, was easy to use, understand, and was engaging for students. Meanwhile, effectiveness is evident from the improvement in student learning outcomes with a moderate N-Gain category, indicating the media is able to consistently improve comprehension. This research contributes theoretically and practically by providing a feasible, practical, and effective digital comic medium, while also enriching the literature on innovative media development for reading instruction for lower-grade students.

Abstract

Periode anak usia dini merupakan masa puncak neuroplastisitas yang sangat bergantung pada kualitas stimulasi lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas model "Seni Main Cerdas" terhadap neuroplastisitas anak usia 4-6 tahun, merespons dominasi kurikulum akademik yang sering mengabaikan stimulasi holistik. Menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group, penelitian melibatkan 40 anak. Kelompok eksperimen menerima intervensi seni terpadu (rupa, musik, tari, drama) selama 12 minggu, sedangkan kelompok kontrol mengikuti pembelajaran reguler. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (p=0,000 < 0,05) pada kelompok eksperimen, kontras dengan kelompok kontrol yang tidak menunjukkan perubahan bermakna. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa permainan seni berfungsi sebagai enriched environment yang efektif menstimulasi aspek kognitif, motorik, dan sosial-emosional melalui mekanisme neurobiologis, sehingga layak menjadi strategi utama dalam kurikulum PAUD.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the center-based learning model in early childhood literacy development through a systematic literature review approach. Early literacy is a critical foundation for children’s cognitive, language, social, and character development, necessitating instructional models that align with their developmental characteristics. This study employed the PRISMA 2020 framework to systematically identify and analyze relevant literature. Data were collected from national and international journal articles published within the last ten years, selected based on inclusion criteria such as children aged 5–6 years, the application of center-based learning or Beyond Centers and Circle Time (BCCT), and a focus on literacy development. A total of ten articles were analyzed using descriptive and narrative techniques. The findings reveal that the center-based learning model significantly enhances early literacy skills, particularly in language development, symbolic thinking, communication, and meaning-making through structured, play-based activities. Additionally, this model promotes children’s independence, creativity, and active engagement in learning. However, its implementation faces challenges related to teacher competence, limited facilities, and insufficient parental and institutional support. This study concludes that the effectiveness of center-based learning in improving literacy outcomes depends on well-organized learning centers, the integration of interactive literacy materials, and strong pedagogical facilitation by educators.

Abstract

Democratic parenting is the right parenting to establish independence of student learning. This is done by realizing the existence of deliberations in the family, controlled freedom, exercise responsibility, guidance and direction from parents. In addition, independence of student learning is also influenced by teacher reinforcement, both verbal and nonverbal reinforcement. The purpose of this study is to prove (1) the relationship between parents' democratic parenting and independence of student learning, (2) the relationship between teacher reinforcement and independence of student learning, and (3) the relationship between parents' democratic parenting and teacher reinforcement with independence of student learning. This research was conducted in the School Group 1, Pule District, Trenggalek Regency with the population is 187 people. The approach of this research is quantitative, while the type of this research is the ex post facto correlative research. The research data were obtained using a questionnaire given to the study sample, namely 127 fifth grade students in Cluster 1 Pule District. The statistical analysis used to process data in this study is simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 17.0. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded (1) there is a relationship between parents' democratic parenting with independence of student learning with a correlation coefficient 0,474 and a regression equation , (2) there is a relationship between teachers reinforcement with independence of student learning with a correlation coefficient 0,546 and the regression equation , and (3) there is a relationship between parents' democratic parenting and teachers reinforcement with independence of student learning with a correlation coefficient 0,618 and the regression equation . Based on the results of research and conclusions, it is recommended that parents apply democratic parenting so that independence of student learning increases.

Abstract

Kemampuan bercerita siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar (SD) terbilang rendah sehingga perlu tindakan sebagai alternatif pemecahan masalah. Upaya yang tepat adalah dengan cara penggunaan media boneka dan teknik cerita berangkai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan: (1) pengaruh penggunaan media boneka terhadap kemampuan bercerita siswa, (2) pengaruh teknik cerita berangkai terhadap kemampuan bercerita siswa, dan (3) pengaruh penggunaan media boneka dengan teknik cerita berangkai terhadap kemampuan bercerita siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 3 Ngantru sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IIA SD Negeri 1 Surodakan sebagai kelas kontrol. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, sedangkan jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Eksperimental dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui pretest dan posttest. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Independent-Sample T test, menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 17.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, disimpulkan (1) ada pengaruh penggunaan media boneka terhadap kemampuan bercerita dengan nilai thitung = 2,104 > ttabel = 2,014 dan nilai signifikansi 0,41 < 0,05, (2) ada pengaruh teknik cerita berangkai terhadap kemampuan bercerita siswa dengan nilai thitung = 2,024 > ttabel = 2,014 dan nilai signifikansi 0,049 < 0,05, dan (3) ada pengaruh penggunaan media boneka dan teknik cerita berangkai terhadap kemampuan bercerita siswa dengan nilai thitung = 2,412 > ttabel = 2,014 dan nilai signifikansi 0,02 < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan agar guru memanfaatkan berbagai media dan teknik cerita berangkai dalam materi bercerita.
