Abstract

Sungai Toaya adalah salah satu sungai yang berada di Sulawesi Tengah yang terdapat di Kabupaten Donggala Kecamatan Sindue Induk. Secara geografis posisi sungai ini terbentang luas, panjang dari sungai tersebut kurang lebih 9 km yang terbentang dari desa Sumari sebagai Hulu dan Desa Toaya sebagai muara sungai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan keanekaragaman makrozoobentos pasca bencana di Sungai Toaya dan pemanfaatannya sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang menggunakan metode Random sampling, dan alat yang digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu surbernet, Untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman menggunakan rumus indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Winner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keanekaragaman makrozoobentos di Sungai Toaya yaitu H’= 1,16 keanekaragaman jenis sedang. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi penelitian ini sangat layak dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran berupa poster dengan presentase kelayakan sebesar 83.00%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemilihan model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan media power point dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa tentang klasifikasi makhluk di kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 4 Tanantovea. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) mengacu pada tahapan PTK model Kurt Lewin yang terbagi menjadi 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 4 Tanantovea yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan minat belajar siswa setelah menerima materi dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan media Power Point. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus 1 sebesar 76% dan meningkat pada siklus 2 mencapai 88%. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa siklus 1 sebesar 74% dan meningkat pada siklus 2 mencapai 85%, dan tingkat pencapaian Minat belajar siswa pra siklus sebesar 50% kategori rendah mengalami peningkatan minat belajar siswa pada siklus 1 mencapai 61,95% kemudian mengalami peningkatan lagi pada siklus 2 menjadi 75,45% dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan media Power Point dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa tentang klasifikasi makhluk dikelas VIIA SMP Negeri 4 Tanantovea.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kualitas fisik organoleptik dan kimia madu lebah Tetragonula laeviceps serta pemanfaatannya sebagai media pembelajaran. Desain penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pada uji organoleptik antara lain rasa, warna, aroma dan kekentalan memakai metode kualitatif, sementara uji kimia antara lain kadar air, kadar glukosa, pH dan protein menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara menghitung persentase dari masing-masing kandungan. Penentuan kualitas fisik madu lebah melalui penilaian organoleptik dengan metode uji Rating. Data kualitas fisik (organoleptik) dianalisis dengan uji rata-rata, standar deviasi, kemudian dibahas dengan diskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dilaksanakan di Desa Lero, Kecamatan Sindue, Kab Donggala, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Uji kualitas kimia madu lebah Tetragonula laeviceps dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia FMIPA Universitas Tadulako dan uji organoleptik madu lebah Tetragonula laeviceps dilaksanakan di Program Studi Biologi FKIP Universitas Tadulako. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas kimia madu lebah Tetragonula laeviceps yang terdiri dari kadar air, kadar protein, kadar glukosa dan kadar pH berturut-turut yaitu 34,31%, 3,23%, 77,36% dan 3,47. Sedangkan kualitas fisik melalui uji organoleptik yang terdiri dari warna, rasa, aroma, kekentalan didapatkan hasil rata-rata berturut-turut yaitu 3,77 (orange), 4,14 (asam), 2,82 (agak suka) dan 2,82 (agak kental). Hasil dari penelitian ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam bentuk poster dilihat dari hasil persentase 3 dosen validasi dan 25 mahasiswa yaitu 74,10% yang berarti layak digunakan sebagai sumber pembelajaran

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Rattan, a valuable resource for both industry and local food, is evaluated for its nutritional content in this study. The research explores its potential as a learning resource based on local wisdom in Sibado Village, Sirenja District, aiming to raise awareness and promote sustainable use within the community. Methodology: A quantitative descriptive research approach was used, involving proximate analysis to measure (Soxhlet method), protein (spectrophotometric method), water (thermogravimetric method), ash (dryashing method), and carbohydrates (proximate method) of rattan shoots. Data were collected from Sibado Village and analyzed in the Chemistry Laboratory of Tadulako University, Palu. An e-pocket book was developed as a learning resource. Main Findings: The results of the study obtained an average fat content of 0.332%, protein content of 2.110% and carbohydrate content of 6.082%. The results of the study were integrated as a learning resource in the form of a local wisdom-based pocket book that had been validated by content experts, design experts, media experts and students with an average value of 81.7%, meaning it is very suitable for use as a learning resource. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study is the first to combine nutritional analysis of Daemonorops robusta with the development of a local wisdom-based educational tool, bridging scientific data and pedagogy to enhance biodiversity awareness, cultural relevance, and contextualized learning in formal education.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the level of diversity of insect species in various agricultural lands in Basidondo District, Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi. The research was conducted in January-March 2025 using descriptive methods and quantitative approaches that aim to make a description or descriptive of a situation objectively using numbers. Insect sampling techniques were carried out with four types, namely pitfall trap, light trap, sweeping net, and hand collection. The insects obtained were then identified according to the taxonomic order with the help of insect determination key book, and analyzed using Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H'). The results showed that there were 24 types of insect families that were successfully identified. The value of the diversity index (H') was 3.13, which was classified as high diversity. These results indicate that agricultural land in Basidondo District has environmental conditions that support the diversity of insect communities, which can contribute to the stability of agricultural ecosystems. High diversity indicates a balance between insect pests and natural enemies, as well as the role of insects as pollinators and decomposers.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Insect visitors to oil palm flowers, an important component in the pollination process and ecosystem services, are evaluated for their diversity in this study. The research explores their potential as a resource for environment-based learning rooted in local contexts within smallholder plantations, aiming to raise awareness and support sustainable education practices in the community. Methodology: Insects were collected using sweep nets, yellow pan traps, and direct observation. Identification was conducted using a Nikon SMZ445 stereo microscope and reference to entomological keys. Data analysis was carried out descriptively, focusing on species composition and abundance. An e-pocket book was developed as a learning resource. Main Findings: The results showed a total of 50 morphospecies of insect visitors on both male and female oil palm flowers. The number of insect species visiting male flowers was higher, consisting of 38 morphospecies belonging to 21 families and 10 orders. The results of the study were developed into a local wisdom-based pocket book focused on the diversity of insect visitors to oil palm flowers in smallholder plantations. The learning resource was validated by content experts, design experts, media experts, and students, with an average score of 81.7%, indicating it is highly suitable for use in environment-based education. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study highlights insect diversity in smallholder oil palm plantations, which is rarely documented. It also links ecological data with educational applications, providing a model for utilizing local biodiversity as a teaching resource in environmental and biology education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning learning model on critical thinking skills and creativity in biology subjects at SMA Negeri 4 Palu. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type. The population in this study was 400 people and the sample in this study was 70 people. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, and the research sample was 2 classes consisting of class XC and XJ. The data collection technique in this study was using a test in the form of a Post-test and observation sheet. Data analysis used prerequisite tests, namely, normality tests and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing using independent sample-t tests. The results of the study indicate that (1) students' critical thinking skills had a significant average score in class XJ as the experimental class, namely 85.66, and class XD as the control class, namely 77.14. (2) The results of observing students' creativity in the experimental class yielded a score of 84.66, with 80-100% falling into the “very creative” category, while the control class scored 76.14, with 61-80% falling into the “creative” category. (3) The Project-Based Learning (PBL) model has a significant impact on critical thinking skills and creativity in biology lessons at SMA Negeri 4 Palu. This is evidenced by the t-test results, which show a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05.

Abstract

Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Desa Sigenti Kecamatan Tinombo Selatan pada bulan Januari 2024, dengan tujuan yaitu 1) Mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis tumbuhan obat di Desa Sigenti Kecamatan Tinombo Selatan. 2) mengidentifikasi cara pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat di Desa Sigenti Kecamatan Tinombo Selatan. 3) menjadikan hasil penelitian sebagai sumber belajar dalam bentuk buku elektronik yang layak digunakan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling untuk wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh 35 jenis tumbuhan yang terdiri dari 24 famili yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. Cara pemanfaatan setiap bagian tumbuhan obat oleh masyarakat Desa Sigenti berbeda-beda yaitu dengan cara ditempelkan, diolesi, diminum dan dimakan langsung. Hasil ini divalidasi oleh tim ahli dan diuji cobakan kepada mahasiswa dengan persentase masing-masing dari ahli isi 82,5%, ahli desain 81,33%, ahli media 84,28% dan diuji coba kan kepada 25 mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi 87,5% dengan rata-rata kelayakan yaitu 83,90%. Berarti hasil penelitian ini sangat layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam bentuk buku elektronik.

Abstract

Spesies laba-laba digolongkan dalam filum Arthropoda, kelas Arachinida dan ordoAranea, setiap jenis laba-laba nyatanya memiliki morfologi yang berbeda-beda pada setiap tingkat familinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentiikasi jenis-jenis laba-laba yang ada di Desa Posona Kecamatan Kasimbar dan pemanfaatanya sebagai media pembelajaran dalam bentuk buku saku digital. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan jenis penelitian deskripsif. Menggunakan metode jelajah dengan 5 stasiun pengamatan secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian terdapat 21 jenis laba-laba yang terdiri dari 19 genus dan 11 famili. Adapaun 21 jenis laba-laba tersebut yaitu : Araneus ventricosus, Argiope apense, Argiope amoena, Cyrtophora exanthematica, Gasteracantha Cancriformis, Nephila pilipes, Oxyopes salticus, Dolomedes tenebrosus, Holoenemus pluchei, Polcus phalangioides, Habrocestum togansangmai, Menemerus bivittatus, Pseudogagrella splendens, Loxosceles reclusa, Opadometa fastigata, Tetragnatha guatemalensis, Tetragnatha obtusa, Argyrodes fissifrons, Ariamnes flagellum, dan Zoropsis spinimana dilihat dari keberadaan jenis- jenis laba-laba kondisi lingkungan rata-rata di lokasi penelitian yaitu : suhu 30ºC, Kelembaban 78% dan intansitas cahaya 473 cd. Dan berdasarkan uji validasi oleh tim dosen ahli yang terdiri dari ahli isi, ahli media, dan ahli desain serta 30 mahasiswa penguji, hasil penelitian sangat layak untuk dimanfaatakan sebagai media pembelajaran berupa buku saku digital dengan presentase kelayakan sebesar 81,238%.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the morphometric characters of Scylla sp in the Mangrove forest area of Lalombi Village, South Banawa, Donggala and its use as a learning medium. This study uses a exploration method to find samples, with a sampling technique (Hand Collection) which is direct sampling. The samples obtained are identified morphologically and measure their morphometric characters. Morphometric data are analyzed using the Principal component analysis (PCA) method using the help of MVSP software. The results of this study indicate that (1) Scylla sp which has been carried out at two observation stations, overall Scylla was found consisting of 3 types of Scylla, namely Scylla paramamosia, Scylla olivaceae and Scylla serrata; (2) The morphometric characters of male Scylla paramamosian are at the highest PK 37.9 and female 30.9; male Scylla olivaceae are at the highest PK 56.5 and female 40.3; The male Scylla serrata had the highest PK of 60.3 and the female 47.5 so that in this observation the most dominant was Scylla serrata. (3) The most dominant character in the formation of the three groups of mangrove crabs in this study was the male Carapace Length (PK) and the female Carapace Length (PK).
