Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of the illustrated story method in forming characters who love reading in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setia Pontianak. The research method used is a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The subjects in the research were teachers and early childhood children on Jalan Parit Pangeran Gang Keto, Siantan Hulu, North Pontianak District, Pontianak City. The data collection techniques used in this research were participant observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that: 1. Preparation for using the picture story method in forming characters who like to read in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setia Pontianak. Preparation is carried out by preparing the RPPH first and then determining the theme of the picture story book. 2. Implementation of the use of the picture story method in forming characters who like to read in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setia Pontianak, the teacher tells stories in front of the class while carrying a picture story book. 3. Evaluation of the use of the picture story method in forming the character of reading in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setia Pontianak to determine the level of achievement of children's development in the form of notes used to measure the level of children's success, namely written reports, checklists and portfolios in the form of notes regarding children's behavior when listening to stories written factually and truthfully. The researcher suggests that teachers preparing story books should be prepared more carefully and the selection should be more precise. The implementation of using the picture story book method should not be like lecturing. The atmosphere when telling stories can be brought into the story so that it is more enjoyable. Evaluations should be more varied to make it easier for teachers to assess. child. The implications of using the picture story method using books in forming characters who like to read in 5-6 year olds at PAUD Setia Pontianak. Teachers can apply the picture story method using books which is more exciting so that children will be happier when they hear the stories being told.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and obtain information abaout the role of teachers in forming, religious character in early childhood through methods habituation at Al-Mumtaz IT Kindergarten Pontianak City. The benefits of this research are increase insight and knowledge abaout the inportance of the teacher’s role in shaping religious character through the habituation method. The participants in this research collects information regarding the role of teachers in forming religious character in early childood through habituation method. The participants in this research were 3 theacers who taught at Al-Mumtaz IT Kindergarten groups B2, B4 and B7.Data collection techniques used in this research are obeservation, interviews and dokumentation. Analiyze the data in do, namely data collection (data collection), data display (data persentation) and conclusion drawing (data conclusion). Technique checking the validity of the data used is triangulation, research results thourgh obervations, interviews and documentation show that the roles used by teachers in the formation of religious character through habituation methods in early childood in Kindergaten IT Al-Mumtaz PontianakCity, namely by using the role of teacher mentor, facilitator, and motivator, in farming religious character in children through the habituation method. This role has been carried out effectively.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has had a significant impact on the world of education. One of these impacts is the use of the Mendeley application in writing scientific papers by students. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of training in using Mendeley in writing scientific papers for students. Participants in this study were 21 students. The method used in this study is a mixed method, which combines qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observations, and document studies, while quantitative data were collected using questionnaires involving 21 participants from among students. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively using the Miles and Huberman analysis model and quantitatively using descriptive statistics to calculate the mean and percentage. The results of the study showed a good level of achievement regarding the set training objectives. Most participants succeeded in increasing the expected knowledge and skill competencies. However, there were variations in achievement among participants, mainly influenced by their level of participation and background. This study was limited by the sample, which only consisted of seventh-semester students. Further research is recommended to be conducted on a wider scale with more complex sample characteristics. Therefore, long-term evaluation is needed to ensure the sustainability of the training impact, and higher education institutions should integrate this training program into student competency development initiatives to improve the quality of academic writing.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavior control on purchase intentions for Hannochs LED lighting products. Data for this research was collected through a survey method using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The respondents in this research were 140 respondents in the form of lecturers and employees at Malikussaleh University. This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) software. The research results show that partially Attitude has a positive and significant effect on Intention to Purchase Hannochs LED Lighting Products. Partially Subjective Norms have a positive and significant effect on Intention to Purchase Hannochs LED Lighting Products. Partially Perceived Behavior Control has a positive and significant effect on Intention to Purchase Hannochs LED Lighting Products. Simultaneously shows that Attitude, Subjective Norms, and Perceived Behavior Control Influence Intention to Purchase Hannochs LED Lighting Products

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of Thematic Integrated Learning Theme 3. The research aims to describe the use of the Discovery Learning model to improve the integrated thematic learning process on theme 3. The research was conducted at SDN 03 Pulau Punjung. Subjects of teacher and class V students were 22 people. The results showed the learning outcomes of the first cycle an average of 75 and increased in the second cycle to 90.6. The results showed that the increase in the RPP cycle I meeting I got a value of 71.9% with sufficient qualifications (C), The increase occurred in cycle II to 93.75% with very good qualifications (SB) because the selection of materials was in accordance with student preferences, source selection learning is in accordance with the Discovery Learning model, the selection of learning resources is in accordance with the characteristics of students, and in the RPP is in accordance with the suitability of time in each learning activity.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of academic supervision and its impact on learning effectiveness. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving observation, interviews with teachers, supervisors and students, and documentation analysis. The results show that academic supervision is implemented regularly by principals and supervisors, focusing on teaching methods and teacher-student interaction. Supervised teachers experienced improvements in lesson planning and implementation. However, obstacles such as resistance to supervision as a formality and lack of effective follow-up were found. The study recommends improvements in supervision follow-up to optimize its impact on learning effectiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab kurangnya rasa percaya diri, dampak yang ditimbulkan, dan upaya Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) untuk mengatasi rasa kurang percaya diri pada subjek kasus. Upaya REBT merupakan pendekatan yang berfokus pada keterampilan pengendalian emosi dengan mengubah pola pikir yang tidak sehat atau irasional menjadi lebih rasional dan positif. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Terentang dengan dua siswi yang menjadi subjek kasus penelitian. Metode penelitian studi kasus, teknik wawancara, menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Model konseling yang digunakan adalah pendekatan model konseling REBT dengan teknik kognitif (mempertanyakan keyakinan irasional), teknik emotive (bantuan berfikir rasional dan mengontrol perubahan emosi), dan teknik behavior (self-control untuk mengatur perubahan perilaku diri). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor penyebab kurang percaya diri karena faktor internal terhadap kondisi fisik dan eksternal karena perasaan yang tertekan oleh lingkungan keluarga. Dampak kurang percaya diri yang ditimbulkan yaitu kurang aktif di kelas, dibuktikannya dengan perilaku malu bertanya dan menyampaikan pendapat di dalam kelas. Hasil upaya REBT yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini membantu dan berhasil pada subjek kasus meningkatkan rasa kepercayaan diri yang ditunjukkan dengan terjadinya perubahan pemikiran yang rasional pada diri subjek serta mampu mengontrol emosi, perasaan, dan perilakunya setelah melalukan treatment.

Abstract

Educational supervision is a crucial component in efforts to improve the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational supervision at SMP Negeri 2 Banyuke Hulu, focusing on supervision practices, teacher perceptions, challenges, effectiveness, and development strategies. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research involved in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The results show that despite facing challenges in terms of limited resources, the school has successfully implemented a collaborative supervision model that is effective in improving teacher competence and the quality of learning. Technology integration and data-driven approaches have become key strategies in optimizing the supervision process. Theoretical and practical implications of these findings are discussed, along with recommendations for developing a more adaptive and contextual supervision system. This research contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of educational supervision in the context of junior high schools with limited resources

Abstract

Saman dance has many uniqueness both from the movements and messages conveyed through verse. This study aims to examine the history and values of da'wah contained in Saman Dance, then the focus of research is the values of da'wah contained in Saman Dance verses. In this study, the author is interested in understanding how Saman Dance plays a role in spreading da'wah values in the Gayo tribal community by using qualitative descriptive research methods through literature study analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions from various articles and research data source books. By exploring the verses of Saman Dance, this study highlights some of the values of da'wah in Saman Dance. First, there are verses of praise to Allah and greetings to the audience as a form of respect. Second, there is a moral message conveyed through poetry, including the values of togetherness, courtesy, and gratitude. Third, there is a call to protect and preserve nature, in line with Islamic teachings on harmony between humans and their environment. Fourth, there is an encouragement to keep trying in the face of adversity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of academic supervision based on the independent curriculum to improve teacher professionalism at SDN 8 Kartiasa. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative research approach using a descriptive method. In addition, in using data, the researcher used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The study shows that the principal plays an important role in teacher performance, because in the case of independent curriculum changes, the principal acts as a supervisor who needs to monitor the work of teachers. This should not be interpreted as a goal, but as a beginning; This is the beginning of a learning process to improve the quality of learning. To improve the quality of education in educational institutions, we need teachers who have practical teaching skills, because teachers basically play an important role in curriculum planning and development. Thus, world-class teachers will produce quality education, which will have an impact on the birth of a quality generation that is able to compete in the era of globalization.
