Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kendala peran orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran siswa kelas VSDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode deskiptif. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa instrumen wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data yang mengacu pada metode Miles and Huberman dengan hasil penelitian berupa pendeskripsian tentang kendala peran orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran siswa kelas V SDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru.Terdapat 3 faktor kendala peran orang tua yaitu latar belakang pendidikan orang tua, ekonomi dan kesibungan yang dimiliki orang tua. Hasil yang ditemukan di lapangan sudah sesuai dengan teori, masih ditemukan orang tua yang terkendala dalam menjalankkan perannya. Sebagai pendidik, masih ada orang tua yang kesulitan dalam membantu menjelaskan materi kepada siswa dikarenakan keterbatasan pengetahuan yang dimiliki, tidak semua orang tua menyediakan fasilitas belajar lengkap karena keterbatasan ekonomi dan masih ada orang tua yang terkendala membimbing siswa dalam belajar karena kesibukan yang dimiliki.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall media on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SDN 48 Pekanbaru. The background of this research is based on the low student learning outcomes due to the lack of interactive learning media and the monotonous use of conventional teaching methods. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, specifically the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 40 students from class VA. The research instrument was a cognitive-based learning outcome test in the form of 20 multiple-choice questions, validated by content and instrument experts. Data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The results showed an increase in the average learning scores from 10.83 in the pretest to 14.83 in the posttest. The significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) in the paired sample t-test was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Thus, the PBL model assisted by Wordwall is proven to be effective in improving students' learning outcomes. The application of this model creates a more engaging and interactive learning environment and encourages active student participation, positively impacting the improvement of IPAS learning outcomes.

Abstract

Language is a means of communication. Indonesian has become a language that has become the identity of the country, the use of Indonesian in the current generation can be classified as very low, with many influencing factors such as individual communication habits and environmental factors. Even though many of the guides are in Indonesian, it's because the attitude looks modern and educational to facilitate communication among millennials. The term millennial generation, which depends a lot on maturity, is currently on the rise, especially on social media. Netizens often refer to him as a child today. This generation exists as an adjustment between the old generation who lived in the 90s and the current generation of individuals. From an age perspective, it can be said that the current millennial generation is between 14 and 30 years old. This language contains expressions, pronunciations, and structures that have been used for a long time. The phrases, word choices, and then the speech of the generations vary at different frequencies. There are parts of speech, especially at the lexical and syntactic levels, that are experienced by more "modern" speakers than by "older" ones.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mendeskripsikan efektivitas pendidikan karakter dalam menangani masalah bullying yang terjadi di lingkungan sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode studi pustaka, ialah metode dengan cara memahami teori-teori dari berbagai literatur yang berkaitan dan berhubungan dengan kajian penelitian. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan; Pertama, mayoritas terjadinya kasus bullying di sekolah disebabkan karena kurangnya pengawasan dari guru dan relasi antar siswa yang buruk. Kedua, pendidikan karakter dapat membantu menangani kasus bullying di lingkungan sekolah melalui kegiatan sosialiasi serta merealisasikan langsung pada materi pembelajaran. Ketiga, Upaya meningkatkan pendidikan karakter dilingkungan sekolah dapat dilakukan dengan memperkuat pengendalian sosial warga sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan karakter memiliki efektivitas yang berpeluang besar dalam membantu penanganan kasus bullying atau perundungan yang marak terjadi terutama di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan implementasi Pendekatan Pembelajaran Kontekstual mata Pelajaran IPAS pada kurikulum Merdeka di SDN 17 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yaitu mendeskripsikan gejala, peristiwa serta kejadian yang terjadi yaitu berupa Penerapan Pendekatan Pembelajaran Kontekstual pada mata Pelajaran IPAS di SDN 17 Pekanbaru. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan metode analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pola berfikir induktif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SDN 17 Pekanbaru dapat berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dalam proses belajar mengajar selalu menggunakan berbagai metode, media, dan sumber belajar. Disamping itu, SDN 17 Pekanbaru juga mengkaji materi yang telah diajarkan dan melihat kondisi siswa sebagai subjek pendidikan, sarana, rencana pembelajaran hingga pada penilaian sebenarnya. Dalam penilaian IPAS tidak hanya melalui tes tertulis tetapi juga pengamatan terhadap perkembangan kemampuan dan tingkah laku siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran IPAS serta dalam kehidupan mereka seharihari. Jadi, ketujuh komponen pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual yaitu: konstruktivisme, inquiry, bertanya, masyarakat belajar, pemodelan, refleksi, dan penilaian autentik; sudah ada dan diterapkan sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SDN 17 Pekanbaru ini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair and Share (TPS) learning model on students’ ability to express opinions. The research was conducted at SDN 113 Pekanbaru during the even semester of 2025 using an experimental design with a quantitative approach. The population consisted of all fourth-grade students, and the sample was selected randomly, comprising class IVA (control group, 27 students) and class IVB (experimental group, 25 students). The independent variable was the TPS model, while the dependent variable was the ability to express opinions.The results showed that the TPS model had a significant effect on students' ability to express their thoughts. The experimental class achieved a higher average score (80.80) compared to the control class (55.74). Hypothesis testing showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 9.343 > t-table 1.647, indicating that Hₐ was accepted and H₀ rejected. Therefore, the implementation of the TPS model had a significant impact.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers’ skills in applying variations in IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies) learning in Grade V of SDN 004 Domo, Kampar Regency, focusing on teaching style variations, the use of media, and teacher-student interaction patterns. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, including data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that teachers applied variations in teaching style, yet the use of media and interaction patterns remained limited. The study concludes that variations in teaching practices positively influenced student engagement, although they were not fully optimized across all aspects. The implication highlights the need for continuous professional development programs to enhance teachers’ creativity and consistency in implementing varied learning strategies in line with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, teachers are required to be able to integrate technology into the learning process to improve the quality of education. This community service activity aims to develop teachers’ competencies in implementing the 5EIM learning model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate, Integrate, and Meta-Reflect) based on technology. The methods used include training, mentoring, and classroom implementation evaluation. This activity was attended by teachers from various educational levels with diverse backgrounds in technology utilization. The results of the program showed a significant increase in teachers’ understanding and ability to design and implement the 5EIM-based learning model digitally. Furthermore, the teachers also showed a positive attitude toward the use of technology as a tool to enrich students’ learning experiences. This activity is expected to serve as a model for sustainable and adaptive professional development for teachers in response to the demands of the digital age.

Abstract

Upaya peningkatan literasi membaca di sekolah dasar perlu didukung oleh media belajar yang mampu menghadirkan pengalaman membaca yang lebih interaktif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memperkuat kemampuan literasi membaca siswa kelas V SDIT Bunaya Pekanbaru melalui pemanfaatan media Augmented Reality (AR) berbasis Assemblr EDU. Program difokuskan pada pembelajaran teks bertema “Upacara Adat” yang dipadukan dengan visualisasi 3D rumah adat Indonesia sebagai sarana eksplorasi budaya. Penilaian literasi mencakup empat indikator, yaitu literal, inferensial, evaluatif, dan reflektif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan guru dan siswa dalam proses perencanaan, implementasi, dan refleksi. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor literasi membaca dari 61,2 (pretest) menjadi 84,5 (posttest), atau meningkat 38%, dengan capaian tertinggi pada indikator inferensial dan reflektif. Selain peningkatan akademik, kegiatan ini menumbuhkan minat baca serta apresiasi budaya lokal melalui pengalaman belajar multimodal. Temuan ini menegaskan efektivitas AR sebagai media pembelajaran yang mendukung pemahaman bacaan dan penguatan identitas budaya. Untuk keberlanjutan program, sekolah didorong mengembangkan komunitas literasi digital serta memperluas integrasi AR pada materi tematik lain agar ekosistem literasi berbasis teknologi dapat terbentuk secara berkelanjutan.
