Abstract

This research aims to determine the difference in the average increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes in science subjects using the Science, Environment, Technology and Society (SETS) approach and the conventional approach. This research uses a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research is all fifth grade students from one of the elementary schools in Bandung Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research population was 22 experimental class students and 24 control class students. Data collection through descriptive tests in the form of pretest and posttest. The test instrument in this research was developed by applying expert judgment. Data analyzed using the t test shows that the t value = 9.003 and the sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05 then ????0 is rejected. This means that there is a difference in the average increase in cognitive learning outcomes for class V students in science subjects using the SETS approach and the conventional approach. The average N-Gain value of the control class is 0.079 with medium criteria. Meanwhile, the experimental class is 0.530 with medium criteria. So it can be concluded that this research uses cognitive learning outcomes. The Science, Environment, Technology, Society (SETS) approach is an alternative for Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects that makes it easier for students to develop learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance student learning outcomes in Asmaul Husna (Al-Wahab, Al-Alim, and As-Sami) through the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The research method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Observation results indicate significant improvement in both teacher performance and student engagement across cycles. In Cycle I, although some aspects were not fully achieved, teacher performance reached 95%, while student engagement achieved 87.5%. By Cycle II, teacher performance reached 100%, with student engagement at 95%. Learning outcomes also improved, with 56.6% of students achieving mastery in Cycle I, increasing to 86.6% in Cycle II, surpassing the desired mastery level of 85%. This suggests the effectiveness of the PBL model in enhancing student learning outcomes in Asmaul Husna, emphasizing the importance of active learning methods in Islamic education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya pergeseran budaya Sunda akibat era globalisasi, yang mempengaruhi pengetahuan siswa dan masyarakat tentang budaya sunda, untuk mengatasi hal tersebut MI Miftahul Ulum berusaha melestarikan budaya Sunda kepada siswa dengan mengadakan program literasi budaya sunda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui latar belakang program literasi budaya sunda di MI Miftahul Ulum, mengetahui apa saja kegiatan program literasi budaya sunda di MI Miftahul Ulum, mengetahui bagaimana penerapan program literasi budaya Sunda di MI Miftahul Ulum, mengetahui nilai yang diterapkan dari adanya program literasi budaya Sunda, ,mengetahui hambatan yang dialami sekolah dari penerapan literasi budaya Sunda. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Latar belakang program literasi budaya Sunda di MI Miftahul ulum pertama sebelum dibentuk program hanya sebatas pengajaran biasa, keinginan melestarikan budaya Sunda, takut hilangnya bahasa ibu. Program literasi budaya sunda yang ada di MI Miftahul ulum terdiri dari pengajaran aksara Sunda, pengajaran bahasa sunda lemes, seni tari, seni suara, seni calung, upacara adat lengser, permainan tradisional Sunda, seperti boy-boyan, jajangkungan, oray-orayan, galah asin. Penerapan program literasi budaya Sunda, untuk pengajaran aksara Sunda yaitu dengan dipimpin oleh 1 guru, pengajaran bahasa sunda lemes dengan setor 10 kata bahasa lemes. Nilai yang diterapkan meliputi nilai religius, nilai sopan santun, nilai kedisiplinan, nilai toleransi, nilai tanggung jawab, dan nilai kerjasama. Hambatan yang dialami meliputi terbatasnya media dan fasilitas, terbatasya waktu, tidak ada guru kesenian khusus, terbatasnya dana, tidak ada ruang kedap suara.

Abstract

Ability to know colour is one aspect of ability. It is an essential cognitive function for brain development in children at an early age. Improving the ability to know colour must supported with adequate methods and facilities, but based on conditions in the field, fewer children still understand draft colour with good Research objectives This is to increase the ability of cognitive children to know draft colour through method simple science experiment. The research used is Classroom Action Research in nature collaborative. Amount of samples from the study: This totalled 11 people. The data collection method used is sheet observation (checklist). Data analysis techniques were carried out quantitatively. Research results show that cognitive knowledge of draft colour can increase with method simple science experiments. This matter is proven by Mark's ability cognitive child with an average value of 38 with the predicate is very lacking. As for the implementation process activity method experiment For increasing cognitive child seen from teacher activities and activities, children in cycle I and Cycle II experienced enhancement that is average percentage of implementation Teacher activity in cycle I reached 67.85% with predicate sufficient, and the average percentage of implementation activity children in cycle II reached 79.85% with predicate Good. after applied activity simple science experiments, abilities know color in group B experienced enhancement from cycle I was 42.20 to cycle II amounted to 71.39 pages This prove that activity simple science experiment can improve ability cognitive child.

Abstract

Abstrak Melatih kemampuan kognitif pada anak terutama dalam mengenalkan angka sangat penting diperlukan untuk mengasah keterampilan matematika pada anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mempersiapkan diri anak terhadap pendidikan pada tingkat yang lebih tinggi di masa yang akan datang sesuai dengan tahap tumbuh kembangnya. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan suatu variabel dengan variabel lainnya. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif korelasional (sampling jenuh), serta teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari analisis data menunjukkan bahwa dalam aktivitas penggunaan media papan flanel memperoleh nilai rata-rata 80 berada pada rentang 80-100 yang berinterpretasikan sangat baik. Sedangkan kemampuan mengenal angka pada anak usia dini memperoleh nilai rata-rata 75 berada pada rentang 70-79 yang berinterpretasikan baik. Selanjutnya, hubungan antara aktivitas penggunaan media papan flanel dengan kemampuan mengenal angka pada anak usia dini diperoleh harga koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,773. Hasil uji signifikansi korelasi t hitung = 3,854 > t tabel = 2,228, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, hubungan antara aktivitas penggunaan media papan flanel memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kemampuan mengenal angka pada anak usia dini sebesar 59,75%, sisanya yaitu 40,25 dipengaruhi faktor lain. Kata Kunci: Anak Usia Dini, Kemampuan Mengenal Angka, Media Papan Flanel Abstract Training cognitive abilities in children, especially in introducing numbers is very important to hone math skills in children. The purpose of this study is to prepare children for education at a higher level in the future according to their stage of growth and development. The research method that will use a quantitative approach with the correlation method is to determine the relationship of a variable with other variables. In this study, researchers used correlational quantitative analysis techniques (saturated sampling), as well as data collection techniques using observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the data analysis show that in the activity of using flannel board media, an average value of 80 is in the range of 80-100 which is interpreted very well. While the ability to recognize numbers at an early age obtains an average value of 75 in the range of 70-79 which has a good interpretation. Furthermore, the relationship between the activity of using flannel board media and the ability to recognize numbers in early childhood obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.773. The results of the correlation significance test t count = 3.854 > t table = 2.228, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, the relationship between the activity of using flannel board media has a positive and significant relationship with the ability to recognize numbers in early childhood by 59.75%, the remaining 40.25 is influenced by other factors. Abstract

The problem that occurs in class VI students at MI Miftahul Huda Bandung is the low results of students' mathematics learning. The test results show that the average grades for classes 6A, B, C respectively are 42.5; 34.8; and 39.9. This research aims to determine the effect of the problem posing learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at MI Miftahul Huda Bandung. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method, pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all class VI students at MI Miftahul Huda Bandung, totaling three classes with classes A and B as samples having the same group. Data processing was carried out using a normality test and paired t-test on the pretest and posttest scores for the experimental class. The normality test results show a figure of 0.200 in the pretest and posttest value data. The results of the paired t-test for the experimental class produced a significance value smaller than 0.001 so that it was concluded that the problem posing learning model had an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at MI Miftahul Huda Bandung.

Abstract

This research endeavors to assess the allocation of mathematics education courses concerning mathematics computer technology, metacognition, and meta-skills in mathematics learning. It also aims to gauge the outcomes of mathematical metacognition abilities through the utilization of mathematical computer applications. Employing a mixed-method approach, the study simultaneously gathered and analyzed qualitative and quantitative data. Quantitative data were derived from the outcomes of metacognition abilities, while qualitative information was obtained from curriculum documents and metacognition abilities. The metacognition thinking ability test comprised 10 short descriptions related to differential and integral calculus material. The participants were 45 seventh-semester students majoring in mathematics education during the 2021/2022 academic year at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, all of whom undertook mathematics computer application courses. The findings indicate that the mathematics education study program has implemented a curriculum fostering the attainment of qualifications for graduates adept at applying mathematical computer technology, evidenced by the distribution of computer technology-based courses. Metacognition and meta-skills are deemed essential in preparing prospective teachers to engage in higher-level thinking and effectively apply new knowledge, particularly through the application of mathematical computer programs. Notably, students demonstrated good metacognition abilities based on the assessment results.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sebaran mata kuliah pendidikan matematika berbasis teknologi komputer matematika, metakognitif dan meta skill pada pembelajaran matematika, dan hasil kemampuan metakognitif matematik dengan menggunakan aplikasi komputer matematika. Metode penelitian ini adalah mix method dengan pendekatan penelitian integrative, data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dikumpulkan secara bersamaan dan dianalisis. Metode kuantitatif berupa hasil kemampuan metakognitif, data kualitatif berupa dokumen kurikulum dan kemampuan metakognitif. Analisis data berupa hasil tes kemampuan berpikir metakognitif terdiri dari 10 uraian singkat terdiri dari materi kalkulus diferensial dan integral. Subjek penelitian adalah 45 mahasiswa semester VII tahun akademik 2021/2022 pendidikan matematika UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung yang menerima mata kuliah aplikasi komputer matematika. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa program studi pendidikan matematika telah mengimplementasikan kurikulum yang mendorong capaian kualifikasi lulusan terampil mengaplikasikan dan memanfaatkan teknologi komputer matematika berupa sebaran mata kuliah berbasis teknologi komputer. Metakognitif dan meta skill dibutuhkan untuk menyiapkan mahasiswa calon guru untuk mampu berpikir tingkat tinggi dan terampil menggunakan pengetahuan baru berupa penerapan aplikasi komputer matematika. Hasil kemampuan metakognitif mahasiswa dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

This research is based on findings that students' low interest in mathematics subjects and the widespread assumption that mathematics is a difficult and scary subject, affecting students' numeracy. This is thought to be a result of students' math anxiety about. This study aims to describe students' mathematical anxiety and students' numeracy and describe the influence of both variables on grade V students of MIS Muhammadiyah Babakanloa. It investigated the relationship between math anxiety and numeracy among Class V students at MIS Muhammadiyah Babakanloa, involving 27 participants during the 2022/2023 academic year. The descriptive and inferential statistical analysis result shows that math anxiety negatively impacts confidence and accuracy in calculations, while objective numeracy acts as a partial mediator in the association between math anxiety and performance in numerical reasoning tasks, with no significant gender differences in numeracy observed. Students' negative perceptions of mathematics and the dull learning methods contribute to low interest and heightened anxiety in the subject, significantly impacting numeracy by 21.71%. The negative relationship suggests that increased math anxiety corresponds to decreased numeracy. These findings emphasize the importance for teachers to innovate and create engaging learning experiences to alleviate math anxiety and enhance numeracy among students.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Garut tahun 2023, terdapat lebih dari 1.200 anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) yang bersekolah di berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Sebagian besar di antaranya mengalami hambatan perkembangan motorik kasar, yang berdampak pada keterlambatan keterampilan gerak dasar dan keterbatasan dalam berinteraksi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar anak berkebutuhan khusus melalui penerapan seni tari kreatif menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) di SDIT Al-Bayyinah Kabupaten Garut. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah keterbatasan motorik kasar pada siswa ABK serta rendahnya kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan seni tari sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam empat siklus, meliputi tahap observasi, pelatihan guru, implementasi pengajaran tari kepada siswa ABK, serta evaluasi dampak program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan motorik kasar, kemampuan interaksi sosial, dan rasa percaya diri siswa ABK. Selain itu, guru juga mengalami peningkatan kompetensi dalam menerapkan seni tari kreatif sebagai metode pembelajaran inklusif. Evaluasi program melalui angket guru memperlihatkan bahwa pendekatan ini efektif dalam membuat tubuh anak menjadi lebih lincah dan lentur, sekaligus mengatasi permasalahan perkembangan motorik siswa ABK.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the numeracy literacy skills of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah fifth grade pupils and ascertain the challenges these kids face in this area. The study's descriptive methodology, which employed a qualitative approach, was applied to fifth-grade pupils at MI Al-Misbah Bandung City. Tests, interviews, and documentation served as the research's instruments. Techniques for data analysis, reduction, presentation, and conclusion are used in this study. According to the study's findings, class V pupils at MI Al-Misbah Al-Misbah in Bandung City scored an average of 54 on the numeracy literacy test. Ten of the 58 students who started the course finished it. The challenges that pupils face, both internal and external (internal and external), are described as supporting the deficiency in numeracy literacy skills. There are numerous additional reasons that contribute to a lack of numeracy literacy skills among students, therefore it is determined that class V MI students' numeracy literacy abilities are not the only reason why troublesome pupils struggle. Al-Misbah Al-Misbah from the purchase of Bandung City When considering the challenges that pupils face, the average score goes into the low range.
