Abstract

This study explores the role of spatiality in the Qur’anic narrative of Prophet Moses, examining six central locations, Egypt, the river, the palace, Midian, the sea, and Mount Ṭur as transformative stages in the prophetic journey.  Drawing upon classical Qur’anic exegesis and Gadamerian hermeneutics, the research employs a textual-analytical approach to explore how each place functions not merely as a geographical site but as a locus of divine pedagogy and existential formation. The study addresses a gap in Qur’anic studies and educational philosophy by highlighting how spatial interpretation reveals the pedagogical dimensions of prophetic experience and the construction of spiritual identity. Through this lens, the paper contributes to developing a Qur’anic philosophy of sacred space and deepens understanding of divine education in the Qur’anic worldview.

Abstract

The advent of modern technology has facilitated Arabic language learning but also poses challenges in mastering morphology and syntax. This study aims to analyze morphological and syntactic errors in Arabic writing among university students using the Mentimeter application. Employing a qualitative error analysis method, data were collected through interviews and written responses on Mentimeter. The findings reveal several dominant grammatical errors, including issues with hamzah qata' and hamzah wasl, idhafah, and gender agreement in numbers (adad and ma'dud). The most frequent error involved the writing of hamzah, highlighting the need for focused instruction. Additional errors in na‘at-man‘ut structures, possessive pronouns, and prepositions reflect the syntactic challenges students face. This study recommends structured grammatical exercises, explicit teaching of qawa

Abstract

Parents' interest in sending their sons and daughters to Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools is very high, even though the costs of studying there are quite high. Compared to general state schools, which are usually free (no fees), this research aims to find out and answer the question of why integrated Islamic primary schools are in great demand by the Indonesian Muslim community, especially parents. This research uses the method qualitative, using a case study approach. Research data was taken through in-depth interviews with five people, consisting of principals, teachers, and parents, at Integrated Islamic Primary Schools selected through Analysis Interactive Model Milles & Hubberman. This research shows that parents' interest in sending their sons and daughters to Integrated Islamic Primary Schools includes three factors: theological, sociological, and academic. i) Theological factors are views based on religious considerations. ii) Sociological factors related to views on the increasing image of Islamic schools in Indonesia. iii) Academic factors relate to the ability of integrated Islamic primary schools to achieve high academic achievements for both students and teachers. The results of this research can be used as information and initial data for subsequent researchers studying this problem in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

The scientific inimitability in the Quran is one of the most significant aspects of contemporary Quranic exegesis that researchers have studied and analyzed. These aspects have roots in traditional exegesis books. Al-Razi’s interpretation stands out as one of the most important commentaries addressing some scientific ideas prevalent in his era (544 AH - 606 AH). Researchers employed the analytical and historical methodologies to examine the scientific references in Al-Razi’s interpretation of the story of the Companions of the Cave. This story is considered one of the manifestations of inimitability in Quranic narratives, highlighting the importance of this interpretation, especially in the context of science and inimitability. Including God’s power in reviving the dead (resurrection), prolonged sleep and its influencing factors, and the concept of awakening from sleep and its connection to the resurrection of the dead. The researchers concluded that Al-Razi utilized the scientific perspectives of his time to serve Quranic interpretation while leaving room for other scientific views to adapt to changes in time and place.
