Abstract

In learning mathematics, it is very important for students to have mathematical problem-solving skills, because problem-solving skills are an important aspect of mathematics that is needed for student success at various levels. By applying the right learning model and independent learning will be one of the factors that influence the ability to solve mathematical problems. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in mathematical problem solving abilities between learning independence (high, medium, low) and those who implement the Discovery Learning model and the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model and continue the influence of the interaction between the level of independent learning and the learning model. This study used a quantitative approach and this type of experimental research with a total sample of 63 students of class XI TKJ SMK PGRI Dobo. Data analysis in this study used the Two Way ANOVA test with a 3×2 factorial design. From the results of the study obtained 1) There is a very significant difference in the ability to solve mathematical problems between learning independence (high, medium, low) in class XI TKJ SMK PGRI Dobo students. 2) There is a very significant difference in the ability to solve mathematical problems between classes taught with the discovery learning model and the think pair share type cooperative learning model in class XI TKJ SMK PGRI Dobo. 3) There is an interaction effect between the level of independent learning with learning model on the ability to solve mathematical problems in class XI TKJ SMK PGRI Dobo students.

Abstract

Salah satu keterampilan abad 21 dan merupakan elemen dalam profil pancasila adalah kemampuan bernalar kritis yang digunakan untuk membantu pemecahan masalah. Agar keterampilan tersebut bisa berkembang maka diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran collaborative learning yang membantu siswa agar lebih aktif karena model pembelajaran menekankan pada diskusi kelompok dan keaktifan dalam bekerja sama. Ini juga perlu dibantu oleh media pembelajaran berupa multimedia interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Model Collaborative Learning Berbantuan Multimedia Interaktif Terhadap Kemampuan Bernalar Kritis Siswa SMP Negeri 1 Langke Rembong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu, yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dari populasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Langke Rembong tahun ajaran 2022/2023, dengan kelas eksperimen berjumlah 68 siswa kelas kontrol berjumlah 68 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian soal uraian yang hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan SPSS v.26. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis uji t, disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan bernalar kritis siswa yang sangat signifikan antara yang menggunakan model collaborative learning berbantuan multimedia interaktif dengan siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional. Pelaksanaan model collaborative learning berbantuan multimedia interaktif terhadap kemampuan bernalar kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen dikategorikan efektif sebesar 80,6% dan pembelajaran konvensional dikategorikan cukup efektif sebesar 70,6% .

Abstract

Sekolah selaku wadah pencetak generasi bangsa. Menerapkan bermacam metode pembelajaran guna menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Hingga saat ini, metode tradisional masih digunakan di sekolah-sekolah seperti SMP Al-Ikhlash Surabaya. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya perbaikan guna meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep, khususnya melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator And Explaining. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah Untuk membuktikan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika antara yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Ikhlash Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Al-Ikhlash Surabaya kelas VIII tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan kelas eksperimen berjumlah 26 siswa, dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian soal uraian yang hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis uji t, disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa yang sangat signifikan antara yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator And Explaining dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Konvensional

Abstract

ABSTRACTClassroom Action Research (PTK) is research that aims to identify learning problems in the classroom so that appropriate solutions are obtained to realize effective learning. PTK has now become a requirement for teacher professional development. However, teachers at SDN Kedungcowek are less capable in making PTK. This prompted the community service team to hold PTK training for teachers at the school. This training consists of three stages, the first stage is planning, at this stage the community service team coordinates with partners, the second stage carries out training, and the third stage, reflection. At this stage, the community service team measures participants' understanding of the training provided. As a result, most participants had a moderate understanding of the PTK training provided by the community service team. This is shown by the majority of teachers choosing a score of 3 for each indicator on the questionnaire distributed after the training.Keywords: teacher, profession, developmentABSTRAKPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) adalah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah pembelajaran di kelas sehingga didapatkan solusi yang tepat untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang efektif. PTK kini telah menjadi syarat untuk pengembangan profesi guru. Hanya saja, di guru di SDN Kedungcowek kurang mampu dalam membuat PTK. Hal ini membuat tim abdimas untuk mengadakan pelatihan PTK bagi para guru di sekolah tersebut. Pelatihan ini terdiri dari tiga tahap, tahap pertama yaitu perencanaan, pada tahap ini tim abdimas melakukan kordinasi dengan mitra, tahap kedua melakukan pelatihan, dan tahap ketiga, refleksi. Pada tahap ini, tim abdimas mengukur keterpahaman peserta mengenai pelatihan yang diberikan. Hasilnya, sebagian besar peserta memiliki pemahaman sedang terhadap pelatihan PTK yang diberikan oleh tim abdimas. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari sebagian besar guru memilih skor 3 untuk setiap indikator pada angket yang dibagikan seusai pelatihanKata Kunci: guru, profesi, pengembangan

Abstract

Aplikasi Canva bisa menjadi salah satu pilihan media pembelajaran interaktif yang menyediakan fitur untuk edukasi, pemasaran, periklanan dan lain sebagainya. Penggunaan aplikasi media Canva dapat meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam menyiapkan media dan mempermudah proses penyampaian materi pembelajaran. Media ini juga dapat memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran atau menyampaikan pesan dalam bentuk teks atau video. Tidak hanya itu, media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Canva dapat membantu untuk memudahkan siswa agar lebih tertarik dan termotivasi dengan pembelajaran yang disampaikan melalui media ini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan Canva terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket dan pemberian tes hasil belajar matematika. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah uji regresi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan Canva terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

The community service activities carried out by the author and his team are one of the actions that originate from a sense of empathy and concern for social phenomena that occur in the Indonesian educational environment. One of these social phenomena is the problem of developing the Merdeka curriculum, especially in educational units that have the label Special Schools. Educators at Special Schools need direction regarding the implementation of independent curriculum development and all forms of school optimization. Community service activities aim to help Special Schools develop the Merdeka curriculum according to the situation and conditions of the school. Curriculum development will optimize school conditions. If school conditions are optimal, then automatically the teaching staff and students will feel optimal in developing their own wealth. The Special School targeted in this community service action is a school that focuses on special children with autism. Autism is a disorder that occurs in the brain and nerves, affecting the sufferer's behavior and attitude. Autistic children should not be underestimated or even ignored. Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the application of social interaction theory in instilling character values within Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at Islamic educational institutions. The study investigates the extent to which social interaction theory is applied, the factors influencing its effectiveness, and the impact of social interaction on students' character formation. A qualitative approach was utilized, employing a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, school administrators, and students, as well as classroom observations and document analysis. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns and themes from the data. The findings reveal that social interaction plays a significant role in character education, especially when teachers actively engage students in discussions, peer collaboration, and group work. Schools that provide adequate institutional support and have smaller class sizes create an environment where social interaction can flourish, leading to stronger internalization of values such as empathy, respect, and responsibility. However, the study also highlights challenges such as rigid curricula, cultural resistance, and technological limitations, which hinder the effective implementation of interactive learning methods. In conclusion, social interaction theory offers a valuable framework for character development in PAI learning. Its success depends on the commitment of educators and institutions to fostering collaborative and reflective learning environments. Addressing the identified challenges will be essential for maximizing the benefits of social interaction in character education.

Abstract

By using the Team Games Tournament learning model, it is hoped that learning activities will be able to have a positive impact on cooperation and physical fitness of students in elementary schools. Thus, researchers are interested in examining the influence of the Team Games Tournament learning model on student cooperation and fitness. The objectives of this research include: 1) knowing the influence of the Team Games Tournament Learning Model on Student Collaboration in Class III Volleyball Games at UPTD SDN Ujung Piring Bangkalan, and 2) knowing the influence of the Team Games Tournament Learning Model on Students' Physical Fitness in Class III Volleyball Games UPTD SDN Ujung Piring Bangkalan. This research is quantitative research and uses an experimental research design. The instruments used to collect data were student cooperation and physical fitness questionnaire sheets. The research data was analyzed using the paired sample t test analysis technique and produced research conclusions, namely: 1) There is an influence of the Team Games Tournament learning model on student collaboration in class III volleyball games at UPTD SDN Ujung Piring Bangkalan, and 2) There is an influence of the Team Games learning model Tournament on Students' Physical Fitness in Class III Volleyball Games at UPTD SDN Ujung Piring Bangkalan.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe importance of higher education plays an important role in every individual's career in the future. This step needs to be considered carefully since students are in high school. They have the freedom to decide after graduation to determine their next steps. Are they working, studying, or working while studying? This question is something that always arises when they are about to graduate. This was also found in students at MAN 9 Jombang. Most of them still have minimal information about higher education. The Community Service Team (abdimas) was present to answer this problem through the Socialization activities of the FKIP Unitomo Undergraduate Study Program at MAN 9 Jombang. This activity is carried out in three stages. First, the planning stage. At this stage the researcher coordinates with the school and determines the material to be presented. Second, the implementation stage. At this stage, the community service team carried out socialization which was attended by all grade 12 students in the MAN 9 Jombang hall. At the reflection stage, the community service team provides the opportunity to conduct questions and answers with students. As a result of this activity, students have information regarding the registration mechanism, graduate profiles, various academic activities, and student achievements in mathematics education and Indonesian language and literature education study programs.Keywords: socialization, study program, madrasah, senior high school ABSTRAKPentingnya pendidikan tinggi memegang peranan penting bagi karir setiap individu di kemudian hari. Langkah tersebut perlu dipikirkan secara matang sejak siswa duduk di bangku SMA. Mereka memiliki kebebasan untuk menentukan setelah lulus untuk menentukan langkah selanjutnya. Apakah mereka bekerja, kuliah, atau bekerja sambil kuliah? Pertanyaan ini menjadi hal yang senantiasa muncul saat mereka hendak lulus. Hal ini juga dijumpai pada siswa di MAN 9 Jombang. Sebagian besar dari mereka masih minim informasi tentang perguruan tinggi. Tim pengabdian Masyarakat (abdimas) hadir untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut melalui kegiatan Sosialisasi Program Studi S1 FKIP Unitomo di MAN 9 Jombang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahap. Pertama, tahap perencanaan. Pada tahap ini peneliti melakukan kordinasi dengan pihak sekolah dan menentukan materi yang akan disampaikan. Kedua, tahap pelaksanaan. Pada tahap ini, tim abdimas melakukan sosialisasi yang dihadiri oleh seluruh siswa kelas 12 di aula MAN 9 Jombang. Pada tahap refleksi, tim abdimas memberikan kesempatan untuk melakukan tanya jawab dengan siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, siswa memiliki informasi terkait mekanisme pendaftaran, profil lulusan, berbagai kegiatan akademik, dan prestasi mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika dan pendidikan Bahasa dan sastra Indonesia.Kata Kunci: sosialisasi, program studi, madrasah, sekolah menengah atas

Abstract

This research is a descriptive and quantitative research. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mathematical connection and communication skills through the STAD type cooperative learning model on the mathematical understanding of students in class VIII-J of SMP Negeri 30 Surabaya. This population is all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 30 Surabaya for the 2018/2019 academic year. The sampling technique was done by simple random sampling. The research sample was all students of class VIII-J of SMP Negeri 30 Surabaya as many as 35 students. The instruments used are questionnaires and tests about explanations. The data obtained were analyzed or tested for hypotheses using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of the study are (1) There is an effect of mathematical connection ability on students' mathematical understanding ability. If students have high connection skills, then the ability to understand mathematics is also high. (2) There is an effect of mathematical communication skills on students' mathematical understanding abilities. If students have high communication skills, then the ability to understand mathematics is also high. (3) There is an influence between connection ability and communication ability on students' mathematical understanding. when tested simultaneously, these connection skills and communication skills have a significant effect on students' mathematical understanding.
