Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out how to implement the Bantul Traditional's Market policy as empowerment of UMKM post COVID-19 pandemic. This was done considering the current situation of the transition to post-pandemic COVID-19 which previously had quite a significant impact on the UMKM sector and traditional's markets in Bantul Regency. Therefore, with this policy it is hoped that the government can provide public services to overcome problems that occurred before and prepare for future situations. This study uses qualitative methods using data triangulation. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the implementation of the current policy was in accordance with the indicators of the theory of policy implementation used. It is evident from the program planning and implementation, all of which aim to empower UMKM in the Bantul Traditional's Market. However, there are also obstacles that still occur and have the potential to hinder the smooth implementation of policies, namely the government's response which tends to be slow when problems occur and must wait according to the applicable SOPs. The government is urged to be more responsive in overcoming problems so that the problems that occur do not pile up and cause big problems

Abstract

Hargorejo Village is one of the villages that has cultural and natural tourism potential. As for cultural tourism, one of them is the jemparingan tradition or commonly referred to as Archery. Based on its cultural potential and local wisdom, Hargorejo Village has a great opportunity to attract tourists from outside, especially in terms of introducing cultural and natural tourism. However, this potential does not still have problems, including management (institutional) and tourism marketing or branding. From these problems, training is carried out concerning institutional strengthening, branding, and tourism promotion. In this training, socialization and special assistance were carried out for the managers of the Hargorejo tourist village. The implementation was completed in December 2022, followed by 15 tourism managers in Hargorejo Village. From the training results, a logo has been produced as branding for the Hargorejo tourist village and has also created a tourism promotion platform through Instagram social media. That way, the manager of the Hargorejo tourism village will be able to increase tourism promotion, especially in culturally based tourism, by introducing jemparingan to the public.

The Kulon Progo Regency Government has implemented various policies to improve the economy and welfare of the community, including the Bela Beli Kulon Progo program and the Belabeliku.com marketplace. This study emphasizes the importance of government policies in empowering communities through MSMEs and the marketplace to enhance the economy and improve people's living conditions. The People-Owned Stores Economic Development Policy (TOMIRA) is a special policy that has been developed by the local government in Kulon Progo Regency to revitalize and improve the welfare of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the area. The policy involves collaborating with modern stores to safeguard local products and traditional markets from the capitalist system that exists in Indonesia. The government's commitment to preserving traditional markets and local products can be seen in the Kulon Progo Regency Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2011 on the Protection and Empowerment of Traditional Markets and the Structure of Shopping Centers and Modern Stores. The implementation of this policy began in 2014 and continues to this day, with approximately 19 TOMIRA in Kulon Progo Regency partnering with modern stores the government's collaboration with modern shops involves marketing, provision of business locations, and acceptance of MSME supply from big businesses. The TOMIRA policy is an important step in improving the economic growth and welfare of the region, and it sets an example for other local governments to prioritize innovation and prioritize MSMEs.

These businesses have a very important role in the economy, especially in the Hargorejo Village area. A strong branding strategy with a focus on quality is essential to increase product reach and competitiveness. This community service aims to improve the community's economy and support the community by actively providing assistance to MSMEs in Hargorejo Village, Kokap District, Kulonprogo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. The methods used in this community service include outreach, training, and evaluation for MSME participants. After completing the training, MSME participants gain a deeper understanding of the importance of using technology in marketing their products. In addition, real improvements can be seen in the branding and packaging of MSME products. This positive transformation can be seen from the post-training assessment which shows that 64% of MSME participants now understand the importance of integrating IT, branding, packaging, and effective online markets into their business strategy. It is hoped that this increased awareness can provide significant benefits for MSME players, especially by strengthening product marketing efforts and improving the overall welfare of MSME stakeholders.

Abstract

Abstract

Along with the development of the Muhammadiyah organisation, especially the Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership in Pajangan, it was only natural for organisational management and human resource capacity building to be enhanced. Since before the pandemic, the Muhammadiyah organisation in the Pajangan area has been rapidly growing, with one of the developments being the emergence of autonomous Muhammadiyah organisations. Some autonomous organisations that had begun to emerge include the Muhammadiyah Youth, LazisMu, and Nasiyatul Aisiyah. Therefore, competent human resources were needed to develop these organisations, one of which was at the LazisMu Pajangan Office. This community service activity would utilise the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, which involves community participation in the development process of an activity. The activities to be carried out in this regard included conducting group discussion forums, providing training for the LazisMu Service Office managers, upgrading financial management with direct guidance from the LazisMu Regional Office in Bantul, and branding the service office through social media. The activity was conducted from January to March 2023, and the training participants were approximately eight daily managers of the LazisMu service office in Pajangan. Based on the community service activity results, it could be concluded that the LazisMu service office managers in Pajangan understood how to manage administration in the service office. This was because the training provided positively impacted the office managers, especially in understanding the flow and administration bookkeeping in LazisMu services.
