Abstract

Among the cultural richness in Indonesia, one of which is the Malangan batik cloth. The use of Malangan batik cloth is not only for clothing and decoration needs but also becomes part of the subject matter. In elementary school learning, Malangan batik cloth is one of the learning materials for Arts, Culture, and Crafts. In the thematic learning applied in elementary schools, Arts, Culture, and Crafts subjects do not stand alone. However, it must be related to other subjects, one of which is mathematics. The reality, on the ground, most teachers find it difficult to link the two. Bridging the link between these two subjects is carried out through semiotic analysis with its six primary objects. This study aimed to conduct a semiotic analysis of Malangan batik for elementary mathematics learning. The research was conducted in a qualitative descriptive manner with an ethnographic approach. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews with two elementary school mathematics teachers and two Malangan batik makers. The research period is January-March 2022. The results of the study found that elementary mathematics concepts (numbers, algebra, geometry, measurement, statistics, and capital selection) have been identified according to six primary semiotic objects, namely language, problem-situation, concepts, procedures, properties, and arguments. By understanding each semiotic object, Malangan batik has the potential to increase students' mathematical activities that are contextual, interesting, and meaningful for students.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Matematika pada peserta didik kelas 1 SDN Kebonwaris 1 Pandaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Pengumpulan data melalui tes untuk mendapatkan data hasil belajar peserta didik, sedangkan pengumpulan data melalui observasi untuk mendapatkan data aktivitas peserta didik. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui metode Problem Base Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik dari siklus I peserta didik yang tuntas mencapai 51,45%, sedangkan pada siklus II peserta didik yang tuntas mencapai 84%, Begitu pula dengan aktivitas peserta didik, terjadi perubahan yang positif pada sikapnya dalam proses pembelajaran melalui metode Problem Based Learning (PBL).

Abstract

Learning outcomes are a person's change in the learning process so as to achieve self-change after the learning process. Mathematics learning outcomes can be achieved if students reach the aspects that are assessed and succeed by showing changes in themselves as a result of cognitive mathematics learning outcomes. Learning material is an outline of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that students must achieve in order to learn to certain competency standards. Flat shapes are two-dimensional geometric objects having various shapes such as squares, rectangles, triangles, circles, parallelograms, and trapezoids. Project-based learning, or PBL, is learning that uses an activity model in the form of a project or activity, which is a medium of learning. The characteristics of successful mathematics learning in achieving competence are flexible learning tools, especially learning models that have effective, efficient, and useful principles as the key to success in learning mathematics. In flat-shaped materials, the appropriate learning model is project-based learning because the media in project-based learning are activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning achievement of IC class students at SDN Purwantoro 1, Malang City, in mathematics by utilizing the project-based learning model. The research participants were 28 students in my IC class. The data collected are the results of the pretest and evaluation results at each meeting. The results of the study state that the application of the project-based learning (PJBL) learning model can make it easier for students to understand the material seen during the learning process and the learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to review, investigate, and compare various research published in Scopus-indexed journals related to the theme of literacy for disabilities so that it will contribute to the development of literacy studies for disability groups. This study used the systematic literature review method with the PRISMA 2020 model. The search was conducted in the Scopus database, inclusion-exclusion, to obtain 41 articles. Data were collected from the Scopus database tend to increase in 2019-2023. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The study results showed that this theme (literacy and disability) has broad dimensions and involves all parties. Various aspects of literacy can be promoted for people with disabilities, although there are adjustments. Ahlgrim-Delzell is the dominant researcher, the reference, and the pivot. The disability aspect was related to education, children, and young adults. Interestingly, the theme "literacy and disabilities" is the focus of researchers from all continents and is generally written in groups. Although this theme deserves global attention, it is not yet interesting for international cooperation. We discuss all aspects of the trend. Researcher interest continues to increase regarding "literacy and disabilities," which can be seen based on distribution year, research types/methods, instruments, study aspects, author, keywords, author's nationality, and collaboration.

Abstract

A systematic literature review (SLR) aimed to define the trends and advances in mathematical semiotic reasoning research that have been published in journals with a scopus index, as well as their possibilities. Upon selecting the keyword "learning media" from the liquefaction menu within the scopus database, 213 articles were discovered. Moreover, a total of 18 articles satisfied the requirements for analysis. The PRISMA model is used for inclusion and exclusion. The trend of learning media has increased sharply in 2019-2023 by 15 articles (83.33%). The most dominant research type is the quantitative approach (6 articles). According to the author's nationality and international collaboration, Indonesia has the most authors (9, or 42.85%) of any country. Furthermore, the authors of learning media publications are dominated by the Asian continent 11 authors (52.38%). 8 articles carried out national and international collaborations (53.33%). Regarding keywords from 18 articles, there are opportunities in the future to research related to media learning with numbers, media learning and statistics, media learning with arithmetic, and so on. In addition, the contribution of learning media research in mathematics is in the form of contributions to learning planning, the development of mathematics learning media in other scientific fields, and the implementation of learning.

Abstract

In the learning process that occurs, many students work quickly, but the results obtained are not accurate. This is because students do not carry out the evaluation process. This research aims to analyze students’ critical thinking processes in solving mathematics problems. The questions discussed are flat geometry material, especially right triangles. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects were 13 students Elementary School Teacher, Faculty Teacher Training and Education, University Muhammadiyah of Malang. Subjects were selected using the purposive sampling method. The questions were given to 50 potential respondents and only 13 students were able to analyze them correctly. This research has resulted in 13 subjects being able to write information using their language at the interpretation stage. In the analysis stage, this subject can find the latest information by connecting previous knowledge with information obtained while studying in class. Evaluation Stage, 13 subjects were able to carry out the evaluation process by linking the main information found. In the interpretation stage, all subjects can draw a conclusion accompanied by reasons to support the answers and conclusions obtained. Communication and regulation stage, 13 subjects were able to communicate and carry out the process well.

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis di kelas IV SDN 3 Sumberdadi Trenggalek cukup rendah. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, rata-rata 62% siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Sumberdadi Trenggalek belum memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Dari permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan pembelajaran yang mengandung stimulus respon, maka dilakukanlah penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan teori belajar Gagne dan media kartu pecahan, serta menjelaskan peningkatan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Sumberdadi Trenggalek pada materi pecahan senilai. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan 2 siklus. Subjek penenelitiannya siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 20. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 1 sebanyak 40% siswa mendapatkan nilai ≥70 dengan nilai rata-rata 65,15. Pada siklus 2 sebanyak 100% siswa mendapatkan nilai ≥70 dengan nilai rata-rata 85,7. Kesimpulannya yaitu pengunaan teori belajar Gagne dan media kartu pecahan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Sumberdadi Trenggalek.

Abstract

Mengenalkan kearifan lokal daerah kepada peserta didik perlu untuk dilakukan. Pengenalan kearifan lokal dapat didukung dengan adanya sumber belajar berupa bahan ajar. Informasi dapat diperoleh oleh peserta didik secara mandiri, salah satunya melalai modul pendamping. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan jenis pendekatan ADDIE yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, penerapan, evaluasi. Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk modul pendamping tematik yaitu Modul Tematik Tema Daerah Tempat Tinggalku Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Blitar. Hasil validasi ahli bahan ajar modul pendamping yang dikembangkan yaitu dengan tingkat kevalidan 96,66% dari aspek materi, 90% dalam aspek bahan ajar, dan 90% dalam aspek pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, pengembangan ini menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar modul pendamping pembelajaran tematik berbasis kearifan lokal Blitar yang menonjolkan kondisi wilayah, sejarah, kesenian, kegiatan ekonomi, dan tempat wisata yang dilengkapi dengan cerita rakyat dari Blitar, latihan soal, tes mandiri serta soal evaluasi dengan kriteria sangat valid, sangat baik, sangat menarik dan sangat bermanfaat sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan membantu pembelajaran di kelas IV SD.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep pecahan berdampak pada rendahnya hasil nilai siswa dalam materi perbandingan pecahan. Penanaman konsep pecahan harus diutamakan agar siswa dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan tentang perbandingan pecahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pecahan dalam tema cuaca pada siswa kelas 3A SDN Purwantoro 2 Malang melalui model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD dan menggunakan media origami. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang menerapkan model Kemmis dan Taggart. Subyek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 3A SDN Purwantoro 2 Malang yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Pada penelitian ini, pengumpulan data melalui tes awal, tes akhir tindakan, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sesuai dengan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa : pemahaman siswa dalam membandingkan pecahan melalui model cooperative learning tipe STAD dan media origami siswa kelas 3A SDN Purwantoro 2 Malang mengalami peningkatan

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar Negeri Tegalgondo No. 301, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang, merupakan lembaga pembelajaran resmi dengan jumlah siswa 26 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas 4 dengan jumlah siswa 17 siswa dan kelas 5 yang terdiri dari 9 siswa. Terdapat kesalahan persepsi siswa terhadap sains sebagai hal yang menakutkan, serta kurangnya instrumen inovatif dan kreatif dalam pembelajaran sains yang menyebabkan kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap sains. Sehingga dimanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga sebagai media CBSains 3D yang merupakan gabungan antara terapi pada ilmu psikologi dan juga seni 3D, kemudian CB yang berasal dari CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) yang berfungsi merubah pola pikir negatif menjadi positif maupun sudut pandang seseorang tentang suatu hal. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh terapi kognitif behavioral (CBT) menggunakan metode media pembelajaran tiga dimensi terhadap minat sains  siswa sekolah dasar. CBT merupakan pendekatan psikologis yang terbukti efektif  mengatasi berbagai masalah psikologis dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Metode pembelajaran tiga dimensi memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menarik kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CBT dengan menggunakan metode media pembelajaran tiga dimensi  meningkatkan minat sains siswa sekolah dasar secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran tradisional.
