Abstract

A lack of understanding and skills in proper financial record-keeping makes it difficult for business owners to manage cash flow, determine the cost of goods manufactured, measure business profitability, and access capital from financial institutions. This training method utilizes accounting management training in an entrepreneurial context, which can be delivered through a multifaceted approach, combining formal learning and hands-on practice in the field. This training utilizes a participatory approach, technical guidance, and the use of digital tools. The results of this community service activity identified that a comprehensive and practical accounting management training program is a strategic step to improve the ability of MSMEs to adapt and compete in an increasingly complex market. Accounting management training aims not only to provide technical knowledge but also to strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs as part of the broader economic system.

Abstract

Changing market needs require businesses to not only produce marketable products but also understand consumers, create product identities, and adapt to evolving trends. Limited access to information, limited digital marketing skills, and a lack of training and mentoring also pose significant obstacles to the growth of MSMEs. To address these challenges, business management training is being implemented to improve competencies, particularly for MSMEs. This training is conducted in a structured, phased manner, beginning with a preparation phase that includes identifying MSME needs through surveys and direct interviews. The business management training program for MSMEs has resulted in improved product presentation, including packaging, branding, and promotional narratives. Post-training mentoring is a key factor in the program's success.

Abstract

Factual problems in the field are that there are still some MSMEs who upload product photos with poor lighting, inappropriate backgrounds, and without considering design aesthetics and visual identity. This condition indicates the need for educational intervention in the form of training that can help business actors understand the importance of product design as well as basic technical skills such as taking product photos, using simple design applications, and effective visual design principles. The method used in this community service activity is a participatory educational approach through training activities and direct practice focused on improving participants' skills in designing and presenting products visually for digital marketing purposes. The results of the implementation of this community service activity identified that increasing the capacity of MSMEs in designing and presenting products more attractively on e-commerce platforms. An important lesson from this activity is that the digitalization of MSMEs does not always have to start from complex technological aspects, but can start from simple things but have a big impact, such as improving the visual quality of the product. Attractive product design can be an entry point to building a professional business presence in the digital world.

Abstract

General Background: Practical technical learning such as computer assembly often faces challenges due to low student motivation and limited practice facilities. Specific Background: At SMAN 2 Garut, conventional methods have proven less effective in improving computer assembly skills. Knowledge Gap: Few gamification-based simulation learning models have been tested to significantly enhance technical skills. Aims: This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of the GAMERIK (Gamification of Computer Assembly) learning model using the PC Creator 2 simulation to improve Grade X students’ computer assembly skills. Results: Using an R&D approach with the ADDIE model, data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, pretests, and posttests. A paired sample t-test showed a significant increase in students’ motivation, conceptual understanding, and assembly skills (p < 0.05). Novelty: The integration of PC Creator 2’s automated assessment algorithm within the gamification model provided immediate feedback, accelerating the learning process. Implications: GAMERIK offers an innovative solution for practice-based learning in schools with limited facilities and is relevant to the development of simulation- and gamification-based informatics learning media. Highlights: Enhances motivation and skills in technical learning. Uses simulation with automated assessment for feedback. Offers solutions for schools with limited practice facilities. Keywords: GAMERIK, Gamification, PC Creator 2, Computer Assembly Skills, Simulation

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Social Media Marketing (SMM) and Product Design on Repurchase Intention with Customer Satisfaction as a mediating variable among Compass shoe users, using a quantitative SEM-PLS approach with 107 respondents. The results indicate that SMM has a significant effect on Repurchase Intention, while Product Design significantly affects Repurchase Intention but not Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Satisfaction does not serve as a strong mediator in the relationship between Product Design and Repurchase Intention. These findings suggest that effective digital marketing strategies through social media are more capable of building loyalty and driving repurchase intention than relying solely on product design, although design remains crucial in shaping consumer perception and attractiveness. The R² value of 0.915 and Q² value of 0.767 confirm the model's excellent predictive power. The practical implication is that local fashion brands like Compass should optimize consumer interaction through social media by leveraging creative content, influencer collaborations, and #localpride narratives to strengthen brand image, while also developing design innovations that balance functional, aesthetic, and comfort aspects to enhance the overall customer experience. This demonstrates that customer satisfaction acts as an important bridge in reinforcing the impact of digital strategies on loyalty, making the integration of social media marketing and market-oriented product design a key factor in increasing repurchase intention and boosting the competitiveness of the local footwear industry.
