Abstract

Guided by Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, Indonesia should implement a welfare state with strategic planning for the welfare of the people through state ownership of certain business units that provide the greatest benefit for the welfare of the people by establishing companies that are majority or partially owned by the state, namely BUMN based on Good Corporate Governance (GCG). However, the role of BUMN has not been optimal and has not fulfilled the expectations of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution and it is necessary to make improvements and arrangements, one of which is through privatization to improve and improve company performance. This research uses the juridical normative approach, namely, the law is conceptualized as norms, rules, principles, or dogmas, with data collection techniques used through library research methods and interviews and using qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the research conducted, there are many obstacles and problems in the application of the privatization method in reforming and structuring BUMN, especially related to separated state assets and the criteria for BUMN that can be privatized. For this reason, serious, systematic, tiered, and strategic efforts are needed in reforming and structuring state-owned companies, especially efforts to improve the performance and value of the company and are carried out by taking into account the legal side of the business and the state constitution. Abstract

The most basic problem is that there is no regulation regarding royalty rates for performance rights on digital platforms, while the royalty rates used so far depend on each platform to the CMO. Many cover version musicians commercialize their work without the permission of the original creator, resulting in copyright infringement. The research used is empirical juridical using legislation and interview approaches. The conclusion is that due to the large potential for copyright infringement on the cover version, it must first obtain permission from the creator, Article 9 (2). Departing from the theory of development, the Copyright Law and Government Regulation Number 56 of 2021 must be able to follow existing developments. There needs to be clear rules regarding royalty rates on digital platforms, as of this writing, there are no statutory regulations or their derivatives that regulate it. About sharing royalties for copyright creators for music and songs included in digital platforms. If you look at the Utilitarianism theory carried out by WAMI's CMO for music royalties and songwriters on digital platforms, then the distribution of royalties is part of the legal goal of this theory, which is to provide benefits and happiness to as many people as possible.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the development of language research in science learning which can improve students' understanding during practicums in the laboratory. This research also explores the factors that contribute to increasing student understanding and bibliometric analysis using the keywords "language", "practicum", "laboratory" and "science" from 2015 to 2021. There is also an explanation of curriculum development and the influence of language in science learning. The use of technology and laboratories is an important factor in improving student literacy and language. Student characteristics, motivation, teacher-student relationships, and student psychological conditions can all be concluded to be closely interconnected. Language is a determining factor in the success of science learning during practical work in the laboratory. Therefore, the language style used by the teacher during practicum in the laboratory should be as simple as possible to make students easy to understand. This paper also includes language barriers for students with special needs. The results of the bibliometric analysis show that the research trend on language in science learning is increasing. This paper can be used as material for consideration by readers in understanding the current conditions regarding the importance of language in science learning, especially practical learning in the laboratory.

Abstract

Air pollution is a critical issue in Indonesia in 2023, prompting the need to enhance green skills within Vocational High Schools to support a sustainable green economy. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of Islamic values on the development of green skills among students. Utilizing quantitative methods, data were collected through online questionnaires distributed to 562 twelfth-grade students at the Islamic Foundation Vocational School in Bogor Regency. The results revealed that Islamic values, particularly beliefs and attitudes towards the environment, significantly impacted the acquisition of green skills. Further analysis identified that Islamic values as a source of inspiration and serenity, along with teachings on tree planting and zero-waste practices, had a partially significant effect. The study concludes that incorporating Islamic religious education into the vocational school curriculum is crucial. These findings offer valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and practitioners, providing a basis for integrating Islamic values into vocational education to enhance green skill development among students.

Abstract

This research endeavors to assess the impact of additional practicum sessions and experimental demonstrations through video presentations on students' comprehension in an Islamic boarding school. The study focuses on enhancing students' understanding of the biochar concept, particularly its role as an adsorbent, aligning with contemporary issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and environmental problem-solving. To substantiate the research rationale, a concise literature review and bibliometric analysis were incorporated. The experiment involved comparing two classes – the experimental class, which received additional practicum and experimental demonstrations using videos, and the conventional class as the control group. The study included 45 students in Class XI of an Islamic boarding school. Learning outcomes were assessed through pre-test and post-test scores, as well as N-Gain calculations. The hypothesis was tested using the Paired Sample T-test. The practical aspect of the experiment involved carbonizing the skin of jengkol fruit to produce carbon, which was then utilized for adsorbing curcumin. The adsorption phenomena were observed and analyzed. The research findings demonstrated that the experimental demonstration method, particularly when complemented with video presentations, was more effective than conventional methods. This was evident from the N-Gain value of the experimental class and the results of statistical tests. The experimental demonstration method using videos is anticipated to enhance knowledge, provide a more authentic understanding and experience, and yield superior learning outcomes. These findings contribute valuable insights for future research on experimental demonstrations, emphasizing their potential to enhance the overall quality of student learning.

Abstract

This study explains all factors relating to the definition and current research trends in how technology can improve education. This study explains how strategies are developed to create and improve the quality of education, including communication, the input of technology (such as IT, ICT, AI, AR, etc.), curriculum and education level, and the relationship between social studies, humanities, science, and industry, as well as management and facilities. We demonstrated current technology using social media, for educators to implement it to improve the teaching and learning process. Bibliometric and theoretical analysis, based on the Google Scholar database from 2018-2023, was used. The search results found 988 articles with the keywords of "Education Technology" AND "Indonesia". Research on educational technology in Indonesia has increased every year. 113 terms were found based on network visualization, which was divided into 6 clusters. The “Indonesia” term appeared 596 times and the term “education technology” appeared 133 times. Co-authorship analysis found 2035 authors have contributed. Completing this research leads to the creation of future research, determining what next research subjects can appear, especially in the field of education.

Abstract

The most dominant mealybug species found on cassava is Phenacoccus manihoti. Parasitoid Anagyrus lopezi is a biological agent of P. manihoti in many countries. Monitoring the incidence and population of mealybug and the percentage of parasitization were done, as well as the population of ants and predator insects for 12 consecutive months. The highest incidence and attack rate of mealybugs were 26 and 64%, respectively, during the dry season. A. lopezi was able to suppress the population of P. manihoti between 2-17 individuals per plant with a parasitization rate varied from 12 to 46%. Our study showed that the parasitization rate of A. lopezi increased significantly with the increase in mealybug density. Predators P. ramburi and C. montrouzieri were found in low populations and have not had a significant impact on the mealybug population. Our study demonstrated the important role of natural enemies in suppressing the mealybug population on cassava
