Abstract

This research focuses on the importance of integration between science and religion in the modern Islamic Education curriculum. In an increasingly advanced and dynamic educational context, there is often a separation between science and religious values, even though both can enrich each other. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the synergy between science and religion can be applied in the Islamic Education curriculum as well as its impact on student character building. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with literature study and observation of the Islamic Education curriculum in several educational institutions. The results showed that the integration of science and religion in the curriculum can form a generation that is not only intellectually superior, but also has a strong moral and spiritual foundation. In conclusion, the application of synergy between science and religion in the Islamic Education curriculum can improve the quality of education and form a balanced person between the mind, heart, and charity.

Abstract

The success of student learning during class learning is greatly influenced by interests and emotional intelligence so that teachers must understand students' learning needs and the factors that influence them. This study investigates the effect of learning interest and emotional intelligence on students' learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach using survey methods and a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of all seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Kota Pariaman, from which a sample of 40 students was selected using simple random sampling. The research instruments included a Likert-scale questionnaire to measure learning interest and emotional intelligence, and academic records to assess learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple regression analyses with SPSS version 25. The results indicated a significant positive effect of both learning interest and emotional intelligence on students' learning outcomes in social sciences. It is recommended that seventh-grade social studies teachers assess students' learning interests and emotional intelligence before instruction. This will enable adapting teaching methods to better meet students' needs and enhance learning outcomes

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Flipped Digital Classroom (FDC) method in enhancing social science education by integrating digital-based learning through Google Classroom, Zoom Meeting, and social media. Using a quasi-experimental design, the study compares the FDC group, which received technology-based flipped learning, with a control group that followed a conventional lecture approach. The results indicate that the FDC method significantly improves students' social science learning outcomes, with an average score of 73.49 compared to 67.72 in the control group (p = 0.0). Student engagement, measured through behavioral, emotional, and cognitive aspects, also positively contributes to learning outcomes, particularly among students with high engagement levels. These findings confirm that FDC has the potential to revolutionize social science education by enhancing student engagement and achievement. Therefore, it is recommended that educators implement FDC and that schools support it with adequate training and technological infrastructure.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the healthy quality of life of the elderly in Nagari Sungai Buluh, Batang Anai Subdistrict, Padang Pariaman Regency, by preventing degenerative diseases. The program employed a community-based research approach, incorporating complementary nursing care based on traditional medicine and elderly exercise programs. Its primary objectives were to establish a Healthy Family Community through an integrated Posyandu (health post), promote healthy exercise among the elderly, and empower Posyandu cadres to advocate for healthy living behaviors and regular health check-ups for the elderly. The results indicated an improvement in the community's health status and knowledge about maintaining a healthy family through complementary nursing care and elderly exercise programs. The initiative also successfully raised awareness about the importance of health and complementary care for the elderly, including exercise guidance and health check-ups. Furthermore, the activity provided health check-up services for toddlers in the foster village. The integration of complementary nursing care and elderly exercise programs within the Posyandu framework proved effective in improving the health and well-being of the elderly in Nagari Sungai Buluh.

Abstract

The background of this research is to measure the influence of location, service quality and promotion on customer loyalty at Vena Veni Mart Sungai Gertingging. This research is a survey research obtained based on distributing questionnaires. The population in this research is customers of Vena Veni Mart Sungai Geringging. The sample used in This research consisted of 70 respondents, using accidental sampling techniques, the data was processed with SPSS 23.0. The results of the research can be concluded; 1) Location influences customer loyalty at Vena Veni Mart Sungai Geringging; 2) Service quality influences customer loyalty at Vena Veni Mart Sungai Geringging; 3) Promotion influences customer loyalty at the Vena Veni Mart Sungai Geringging and 4) Location, service quality and promotion together influence customer loyalty at the Vena Veni Mart Sungai Geringging with a regression coefficient Y= 0.952+0.204X1+0.314X2+0.204 X3 with R = 0.577 or R2 = 0.333. Location, service quality and promotions influence customer loyalty by 33.3%, while the remaining 66.7% are influenced by other variables outside of the variables of this research; The suggestions in this research are: 1) For the Vena Veni Mart location in Geringging River, it is necessary to expand the parking area; 2) For product prices at Veni Mart, it is best to give discounts to loyal customers so that these customers do not move to other places; 3) For promotions, you must provide a variety of products so that customers' buying interest increases.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the development of public relations theory and its implementation in the educational context, particularly regarding the two-way communication model developed by Grunig. The research method employs a literature study approach by analyzing various international research findings on public relations practices in schools. The results show that although the symmetrical two-way communication model is considered ideal, there are still significant gaps in its implementation within the school environment. Schools tend to implement one-way communication focusing on promotion and persuasion, neglecting aspects of dialogue and partnership with the community. The main challenges include limited competencies of public relations staff, underutilization of digital technology, and the dominance of control paradigms in school management. The digital era opens new opportunities to build more effective interactive communication, but requires fundamental transformation in schools' public relations approach. This research recommends developing a more structured public relations management system, enhancing staff competencies through cross-disciplinary education, optimizing digital media usage, and strengthening leadership roles in building a culture of dialogue with the community. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings contribute to the development of more effective public relations models in contemporary educational contexts

Abstract

Method in the process of learning the Qur'an. This community service aims to explore the impact of using the kitabah method on the memorization skills of the students. The community service applies a community-based research method, conducting community research to improve Qur'anic reading skills using the kitabah method. The assistance activities include improving the quality of the students' memorization and understanding of the verses through several steps. First, students must understand tajweed and the pronunciation of letters. The memorization is written repeatedly with a focus on accuracy, and students read their writings repeatedly to reinforce memory through visual and motor activities. The results of the assistance show a significant improvement in the students' tahsin and tahfiz skills. This method is very effective in accelerating pronunciation, tajweed, and memorization abilities. This activity has made a positive contribution to the students in enhancing their tajweed skills and Qur'anic memorization. Keywords: kitabah method, skill development, student memorization

Abstract

To create a more enjoyable English language learning environment for students, an emotional approach is often required. This is because learning English is sometimes perceived as intimidating by some students. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the influence of students' interest and emotional intelligence on their learning outcomes. The research method employed is quantitative research with a survey approach adopting a cross-sectional design. The research sample consists of 40 seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman, selected using purposive random sampling. Research instruments include observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis results indicate that students' interest and emotional intelligence significantly affect their learning outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended for English teachers to pay more attention to students' interests and emotional intelligence in their efforts to enhance understanding and academic achievements.

Abstract

The purpose of this article was to discuss the role of public relations to prevent radicalism through two-way communication at Islamic schools in the educational perspective of Muslim polity. Islamic schools in the implementation of public relations led by the head of publicist unit. It build a strategic of communication channel management of two-way communication model with the advantage of technological developments in the era of Industrial revolution 4.0. One of them is the management development strategy based on two-way digital communication and social media in an effort to ward off the radicalism at Islamic school. Construction of two-way communication is often dominated by two-way communication of the asymmetric model. This article revealed various research findings of the school public relation role in the Islamic education in building the two-way communication. The findings of this research study average showed a tendency of Islamic school more intensive build the asymmetric models of two-way communication, where the communication channel functioned more dominant for the promotion of Islamic school positive image than the counter of radicalism.. The transaction of communication in the relationship management in which oriented to strengthening, understanding, and awareness of all staff to compensate for the promotion of public relations with wish-fulfillment Islamic schools should also be balanced with the prevention of radicalism into the Islamic education. Abstract

This paper aims to set up Islamic education in the perspective of Muslim polity socio-multikultural –oriented in the industrial revolution era of 4.0 while maintaining Islamic values ​​are moderate and peaceful in the Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia. This study reveals the importance of a positive correlation between education and Muslims behavior in order to remain within the norm of life conducive socio multikultural.
