Abstract

Abstract. This research aimed to prove that leadership in the church plays an important role in creating a healthy and dynamic church life. This research is a field research using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that there are differences in leadership between the Indonesian Protestant Christian Church (GKPI) and the Indonesian Holy Pentecostal Church (GEPKIN), where the leadership style in GKPI is transformational, while leadership in GEPKIN applies more spiritual leadership/pastoral leadership style. The difference in leadership style shows that the leadership style must be relevant to the characteristics of the church to be able to create a healthy and dynamic church life.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa kepemimpinan di gereja memegang peranan penting dalam menciptakan sebuah organisasi untuk mewujudkan kehidupan gereja yang sehat dan dinamis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan gabungan antara metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kepemimpinan antara Gereja Kristen Protestan Indonesia (GKPI) dan Gereja Pantekosta Kudus Indonesia (GEPKIN), di mana gaya kepemimpinan di GKPI adalah transformasional, sedangkan kepemimpinan di GEPKIN lebih menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan rohani/kepemimpinan pastoral. Perbedaan gaya kepemimpinan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan harus relavan dengan karakteristik gereja untuk dapat mewujudkan kehidupan gereja yang sehat dan dinamis.

Abstract

Leadership is the ability and readiness of a person to be able to influence, encourage, invite, demand, move and direct people or groups to receive this influence to achieve a goal. The purpose of this study is to describe servant leaders according to Mark 10:42-45 besides that, this research also provides good basic knowledge about leadership and the relevance of servant leaders for today's Christian leaders. The research method used by the author in writing this scientific work uses a qualitative research method, namely by means of literature study techniques, and case studies, namely digging up information from the Bible, books and journals regarding servant leaders according to Mark 10:42-45 and their relevance to today's Christian leadership , then confronted with the current form of application of Christian leadership as a leader who wants to serve. Namely a leader who serves, not a leader who rules with an iron fist or violence and rules with power, but a leader as a servant who has sincere feelings, is humble, has a heart as a servant, is willing to sacrifice both in time and energy. Servant leaders are leaders who give, affirm, strengthen, encourage, and sustain.

Abstract

Leaders are important because leaders are the key to the success of an organization. At this time, many leaders did not use their hearts in leading. They often use reason so that it sometimes causes problems. Of course this is very unfortunate if the leader cannot carry out his duties properly. The research method used by the author is a qualitative approach by applying library research methods. The purpose of this research is that someone who wants to become a leader can understand how to lead with heart and can have the character of being responsible, committed, and determined.

Abstract

Leadership in the church is not the exercise of human power or authority but an activity of service, service aimed at Jesus Christ. therefore a Christian Leader must have Effective Characteristics. One of the efforts is to make Christian leadership with good character and capable of anticipating the future of the church. namely a leader must lead with integrity and have the ability to lead, serve like Christ. the church has a responsibility in creating leaders with character, a leader is not born but is created because of that a leader, has a character that is committed, good, honest, humble, disciplined to produce such a figure requires a good and right character education so that quality and effective church leaders.

Abstract

YPDPA was formed due to a desire to spread the good news in general in North Sumatra to students. YPDPA believes in salvation that salvation is not the result of our work or our efforts but because of God's gift. This study aims to determine the structure and function of YPDPA's leadership in Tarutung, to be precise at Perumnas. The method used by the author is descriptive qualitative method. The results of the research revealed that the YPDPA leadership structure existed in each district/city and assigned one person as coordinator in the sector section. For the leadership function in the sector carry out tasks according to directions from the YPDPA head office.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan Kristen merupakan sebuah kepemimpinan yang perlu diterpakan dengan baik dan sesuai berlandaskan Alkitabiah. Seorang pemimpin Kristen yang tidak sesuai dengan landasannya yaitu Alkitab maka tidak disebut sebagai kepemimpinan Kristen. Salah satu upaya untuk menjadikan kepemimpinan Kristen ini sebagai pemimpin Kristen yang baik dan benar adalah seorang pemimpin Kristen harus memimpin dengan berpedoman kepada para pemimpin terdahulu yang telah dituliskan di dalam Alkitab. Ada banyak para pemimpin yang baik dan disenangi oleh orang-orang yang mereka pimpin yang diceritakan di dalam Alkitab, salah satunya adalah Daud. Daud memimpin bangsa Israel pada masanya dengan baik, karena ia adalah pemimpin yang taat serta tunduk kepada Tuhan yang telah mengutus dia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah membandingkan bentuk kepemimpinan Kristen masa kini yang cenderung tidak sesuai dengan apa yang seharusnya dilakukan oleh seorang pemimpin Kristen. Oleh sebab itu, melalui tulisan ini, pemimpin di harapkan dapat menjadi pemimpin yang dapat berguna bagi manusia dan juga bagi Tuhan. Dengan mempedomani bentuk kepemimpinan seperti Daud ini, maka akan dapat menghasilkan kepemimpinan yang baik dan menciptakan kesejahteraan di tegah umat Tuhan.

Abstract

Pemimpin masa kini kurang memperhatikan pengaruh dari kepemimpinan dan kewibawaannya, sebagaimana seorang pemimpin yang ada dalam diri Nehemia. Oleh sebab itu tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguraikan kepemimpinan Nehemia yang revolusioner dan kaitannya dengan pemimpin-pemimpin masa kini. Metode yang penulis gunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan studi literatur, yakni menganalisis tesis (kepemimpinan masa kini) dengan meneladani (kepemimpinan Nehemia yang berhasil membawa perubahan dan berwibawa), membandingkan dan menyimpulkan berbagai pendapat yang mengacu pada eksposisi Alkitab, buku dan jurnal. Dari hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan Nehemia membawa perubahan yang besar pada saat kepemimpinannya, sehingga dari kepemimpinan Nehemia para pemimpin masa kini mengetahui relevansi dan belajar dari kepemimpinan yang Nehemia terapkan sepanjang kepemimpinannya, yang dapat menjadi teladan dan acuan perubahan terhadap kepemimpinan para pemimpin masa kini.

Abstract

Writing this article is based on the fact that there are still many Christian leaders today who abuse their leadership without seeing the context of their faith in God's love. Therefore the purpose of writing this scientific work is how readers can emulate Jesus' leadership in the Gospel of John, the method used in writing this article is qualitative analysis through literature study by analyzing how Jesus' leadership example is very relevant for today's Christian leadership, which can be taken through books, articles. Bible and journal. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the leadership that Jesus did cannot be denied and doubted for today's Christian leaders, because he proved that he had shown how to be a quality leader even though Jesus himself could master what he wanted but not with Jesus who always humble.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the leadership attributes are applied in SMP ST. Lucia Siborongborong. The method used is descriptive qualitative through literature studies and also direct interviews to ST Middle School. Lucia Siborongborong. The conclusion is that leadership attributes are very important for a leader to have, such as capacity, achievement, responsibility, participation, and status. Capacity here includes intelligence, alertness or accuracy, verbal fluency, the ability to judge and make decisions and originality. Achievement attributes include knowledge, academic achievement, achievement in sports. A leader must also have a sense of responsibility in the form of independence, full of initiative, diligent, aggressive, and confident. Participation attributes such as being able to socialize, being able to work together, and being able to adapt. Then status is socioeconomic status. Even though they don’t always have a higher socio-economic leader status than those who are led. The above attributes differ according to the type of organization

Abstract

Leadership (leadearship) is a process of influence between individuals or between people in a particular situation, through directed communication activities to achieve a certain goal. Effective leadership will only be realized if an organization is run according to its structure and function. The purpose of this research study is to answer; Definition of leadership? What is the structure and function of leadership at GKPI Pagar Banyan? Is the leadership structure and function at GKPI running well? This study used a qualitative method with a library research approach and interviews.
