Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kreativitas kepemimpinan pendeta di GKPI Wilayah VI Silindung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara secara mendalam, dokumentasi untuk memperoleh informasi dan data melalui informan utama yaitu pendeta perempuan di GKPI Wilayah VI Silindung dan informan lainnya yaitu pendeta laki-laki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di GKPI Wilayah VI Silindung, pendeta perempuan diterima dengan baik sebagai pemimpin, menandakan adanya kesetaraan gender dalam kepemimpinan dan penolakan terhadap seksisme di gereja. Hal ini juga menggambarkan proses emansipasi perempuan dalam kepemimpinan gerejawi. Kreativitas dalam kepemimpinan pendeta perempuan di GKPI Wilayah VI Silindung menjadi titik sorot yang mengubah citra gereja secara positif. Pendeta perempuan memperlihatkan inovasi dalam pelayanan gerejawi, seperti merancang lukisan-lukisan yang menarik dan unik, mengembangkan kerajinan tangan jemaat seperti tenunan dengan melibatkan tokoh-tokoh lokal, serta mengadakan seminar-seminar yang berhubungan dengan profesi jemaat seperti pelatihan pembuatan pestisida organik dan kompos dari sampah. Selain itu, mereka juga menggelar lokakarya yang bertujuan untuk memberdayakan jemaat dalam aspek kehidupan rohani dan sosial.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui makna peletakan tanduk kerbau pada kuburan dalam kematian saur matua adat Batak Toba di Desa Lumban Purba Sosorgonting, Kecamatan Dolok Sanggul, Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan empiris-analisis-reflektif melalui wawancara terbuka. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat desa Lumban Purba yang ada di Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan, dengan sampel yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yakni 10 orang tokoh dan tetua adat di daerah Lumban Purba Sosorgonting dan beberapa desa lainnya yang terdapat pada daerah Humbang Hasundutan yang dipilih secara selektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya perubahan makna terhadap peletakan tanduk kerbau sebelum dan sesudah kekristenan. 1. Sebelum masuknya kekristenan makna peletakan tanduk kerbau pada kuburan yaitu: a. Sebagai pertanda bahwa yang meninggal tersebut sudah menyelesaikan adat saur matua. b. Sebagai pertanda bagi orang yang melihat kuburan tersebut bahwa orang yang meninggal tersebut adalah orang saur matua (orang tua yang memiliki umur yang panjang dan sudah memiliki keturunan dari anaknya yang laki-laki dan perempuan) dalam adat Batak. 2. Namun setelah masuknya ajaran kekristenan yang ditinjau dalam perspektif Richard niebuhr kemudian sedikit berubah makna. Sekarang peletakan tanduk kerbau pada kuburan mulai dipahami sebagai simbolis jalan untuk menyampaikan persembahan sebagai ucapan rasa syukur kepada Tuhan karena sudah memberikan kelancaran pada saat menyelesaikan adat saur matua dan sudah mencapai tingkatan kematian tertinggi dalam adat Batak yakni memberikan umur panjang sampai melihat keturunan dari anaknya laki-laki dan perempuan. Dari perspektif Richard Niebuhr hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa relasi agama dan budaya di Desa Lumban Purba Sosorgonting lebih tepatnya ialah agama akan selalu sejalan dengan adat dan agama telah mentransformasikan budaya. Hal ini dapat dilihat dengan mentransformasikan yang artinya mengubah sedikit pemaknaan upacara tersebut dimana kita semula hanya sebagai pertanda sudah saur matua dan sudah menyelesaikan adat saur matua, sekarang kita mengucapkan rasa syukur kita sudah boleh mencapai tingkatan kematian tertinggi dalam adat Batak (saur matua).

Abstract

The experience of losing a parent has an impact on a child's life. When this event occurs, you will experience a feeling of loss which ultimately causes grief. In fact, this event had a physical, emotional and spiritual impact because of the child's grief over the death of his parents. Situations like this ultimately cause trauma to the person, therefore a healing process is needed for people who experience abnormal sadness. The purpose of this article is to describe a trauma-based approach to dealing with abnormal grief in adolescents whose parents have died. This research uses a qualitative literature method with a literature review using a content analysis approach. This study provides insight into the definition of pathological grief and trauma healing. Symptoms of excessive mourning experienced by adolescent children after the death of their parents. And knowledge about how to overcome grief using a trauma healing approach.

Abstract

Forgiveness is a word that is often heard, but is difficult to implement. Giving forgiveness is not based on the size of the mistake committed, but all mistakes must be forgiven. You also need to know that giving forgiveness is not just to forget, but because forgiveness is an obligation for everyone. By giving forgiveness, what happens is peace. Forgiveness is not a verb that must be questioned, but forgiveness requires intention and must be done.This article uses qualitative methods and a literary approach with descriptive analysis of the text of Matthew 18: 21 – 35, in order to explain the research object precisely. Therefore, the aim of the research is to explain the correct understanding of the meaning of Forgiving Without Limits.

Abstract

This writing aims to determine efforts to prevent feelings of loneliness and fear of death in the elderly. Elderly people are more likely than young people to feel lonely and afraid of death. The elderly are closely related to the relationship between parents and their children (family). This relationship begins in the womb, continues with the birth process and takes care of the child.The method used in writing this journal is a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study and literature review approach. The steps taken when writing this topic include researching and reading various references such as books, magazines and online news portals related to this topic. Next, the author will explain and explain comprehensively. Then, the author draws conclusions and explains from the perspective of Christian ethics.The research results show that elderly people have various problems, resulting in different efforts or steps in each aspect of problems in life. Elderly people must try to remain active in their daily activities (for example: worship, social gathering, elderly exercise, hobbies), prepare health costs, arrange visits and recreation schedules with children and grandchildren, and receive support and love from family, neighbors and more relatives. easily prevent feelings of loneliness and fear of death.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the dominant factors that influence the congregation not listening to the sermon. Sermons are central to worship, because the purpose of sermons is to preach the word of God to the congregations and to answer the problems faced by the congregations. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. With the existence of research methods, it can make it easier for researchers to find problems and solve the problems being studied. Naturally, research methods are interpreted to obtain data that have certain purposes and uses. The results of this study indicate that Worship is a command from God that must be carried out by everyone who has been redeemed and saved by the Lord Jesus Christ. The worship that is carried out is a sign of respect that is carried out in the form of going to church, praying, reading and listening to the word of God, praising God and giving offerings to God. The benefits of attending Sunday worship are that serious worship is not only about doing spiritual things mechanically, but also about understanding and experiencing the spiritual values ​​contained in the worship. And the dominant factor that occurs in these congregations is that they often feel bored quickly so they prefer to play on their cellphones, fall asleep, and leave worship to relieve boredom. Sincerity in participating in worship must be accompanied by sincere intentions and sincerity of heart so that the meaning and benefits can be fully felt.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Importance of Naposo Leadership Spirituality in Service at GKI Sumut Parlilitan Classis. The research method in this researcher uses a qualitative research method by conducting interviews with Pastors, elders, paniroi, fathers, mothers, Naposo leaders, male youth, female youth. The data studied to examine the spiritual value of Christian leadership in the Naposo service of the Indonesian Christian Church Parlilitan Classis "The results of the study show that it is important to build spirituality for the Naposo people in order to increase close fellowship in the Naposo fellowship at the Indonesian Christian Church Parlilitan Classis". It is very important for Naposo to develop their spirituality because youth are the pillars of the church and for the future of the nation. For the Church, the Naposo people are very important, because in the future the youth will replace or lead the church, so strong spirituality is needed for Naposo. Although in today's era there are many negative influences, how young people influence it is not the other way around influenced by the times. Therefore, the spirit of Christian leadership spirituality is needed. Because spirituality is a divine power that will direct a person to do positive things.

Abstract

Every day we often hear pornographic news in the mass media, social media, TV, etc. Moreover, with the existence of Android phones, it is easy to access pornographic things, especially among teenagers. That is why there are many cases of fornication, rape due to the release of the consequences of what they watch. It is inevitable that this does not happen because it has been facilitated by cellphones for every teenager. Those who are not yet old enough to know about sex according to their age, make it too early to learn about sex. Teenagers spend more time with cellphones so that they forget to do their work because they are so engrossed. That is why, in this case, parents need to accompany their children in using gadgets so that they can be controlled later in using their Android phones. We hear and see day by day, cases of sexual harassment occur and are increasing regardless of the place whether it is at home, school, public facilities, even in places that are considered sacred. We can see when we watch TV, underage children are the victims of pornography. Not a few have to deal with the police and end up being looted. Pornographic acts are also clearly shown without wearing clothes. There is no longer a sense of shame and reluctance to show off one's body aura to the media for the sake of a morsel of food that must be risked. No thought is given to the negative impacts of all this. By watching freely, the morals of the young generation are damaged, of course the targets are children, teenagers who are still fragile in their stance. They are still easily tempted by things that smell of porn. Several years ago, the government blocked porn sites but the fact that we see is that there are still those who can access them. We do not know what caused why they can still be accessed easily. Is the government not serious enough in handling this problem? Or is it because of someone's skill in fiddling with how to find the site? We leave that question. Now the most important thing is to fortify ourselves with faith in God, for parents, accompany your children in using Android, provide positive activities at home, etc.

Abstract

Domestic violence (DV) is a phenomenon that significantly impacts the physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being of victims. This study aims to explore the role of pastoral counseling in assisting victims of domestic violence, specifically a woman named Ibu Butet, who experienced physical and psychological abuse from her husband and her husband’s family. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used to delve into Ibu Butet's experiences through empathetic pastoral interviews rooted in Christian spirituality. The pastoral care process focused on inner healing, discovering life’s meaning, and strengthening faith as a source of hope.The findings show that pastoral counseling provides a safe space for victims to express their emotional wounds, overcome trauma, and find new strength through spiritual reflection and prayer. In this context, the role of pastors or counselors as compassionate listeners embodying Christ’s love is crucial to the healing process. The study concludes that pastoral counseling not only helps victims cope with their suffering but also guides them to find renewed hope and purpose in life amidst difficult circumstances.

Abstract

Artikel ini didasarkan oleh kenyataan bahwa pada zaman ini cenderung kesulitan menemukan pemimpin yang dapat dijadikan figur teladan, terutama pada komunitas pelayan Kristen. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan library, eksposisi 1 Timotius 4:12. Tujuan penelitian hendak menjelaskan ke-5 (lima) keteladanan menurut telogia Paulus berdasarkan 1 Timotius 4:12, guna diimplementasikan dalam pelayanan kepemimpinan umat Kristen ditengah situasi kehidupan sosial masa kini. Ke-5 (lima) keteladanan telogi tersebut adalah teladaan dalam perkataan, tingkah laku, kasih, kesetiaan, dan kesucian. Hasil dari penelitian artikel ini adalah bahwa menurut teologi Paulus menjadi pelayan pada berbagai profesi apapun, selalu betolak dari panggilan Tuhan sebagai syarat utama, itulah yang memampukan menjadi teladan (tupos).Sedangkan  kompetensi dan syat-syarat yang lain hanyalah sebagai pelengkap. Ke-5 (lima). Keteladanan  itu dimulai dari perkataan dan diakhiri dengan kesucian menjadi standar untuk membangun integritas dan tanggungjawab kepemimpinan para pelayan yang berintegritas berkualitas.
