Abstract

Vocabulary is an important component in English and the main supporting aspect for mastering a language. English is an international language that is often used in conversations between countries. English skills in the modern era are needed, especially in the world of work and education. After observing X-1 grade students at SMAS Raudlatul Ulum Gondanglegi, researchersfound a problem with students' lack of vocabulary skills. Therefore,researchers created learning media that can improve students’ vocabulary skills, namely The Simple English Book learning media. Researchers used development research methods with the ADDIE research model; Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The Simple English Book learning media obtained validation results from media experts of 82.5%, meaning that the media was included in the very valid category and 60% of learning experts, which meant that the media was quite valid, and the average results of the questionnaire for all student responses to the media received 2,002.5 and from the teacher response questionnaire for the English superior program, it was obtained 77.5%, in conclusion, learning media is learning media that is interesting, easy to use and easy to understand.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Speaking One supplement book to complement student learning in the Extracurricular Group at the Senior High School of Raudlatul Ulum Gondanglegi. and determine the feasibility of teaching materials in the form of the Speaking One Supplementary book. The English Featured Program at Raudlatul Ulum Gondanglegi High School is a subject that all students must follow. However, in reality, several deficiencies were found in teaching speaking English: (1) the teacher's teaching methods were less varied (2) the books used for learning activities were still global in nature, and (3) learning to speak seemed monotonous. and bored. Research and Development (R&D), or research used to make certain goods and evaluate their feasibility. This research and development uses the ADDIE research model developed by Dick and Carry (1996). book validation results from media experts by 90% and from learning experts by 82.5. %. while the results of product trials conducted in two meetings amounted to 74.0625% The research and development results show that there is a significant effect of using the speaking supplement one book on student learning in English. In conclusion, the supplement book is an effective learning medium to complement student learning material in learning English speaking.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop learning media in the form of recount text big books and to determine the feasibility of the media. This research was conducted on class VIII students of SMP Islam Mamba'ul Jadidi. The research method used is Research and Development (RandD) which uses the ADDIE model. The steps are (1) needs analysis, (2) product development, (3) product design, (4) product implementation, and (4) product evaluation. Validation by experts is used to determine the eligibility of the media. Researchers then do product testing. based on research (1) the media expert validator gets a score of 94% (2) the material expert validator gets a score of 98%. (3) The language validator got a score of 95%. Student vocabulary assessment got a score of 88%. Evaluation of student assessment responses to the media score of 89%. Thus the media is accepted by students. Research and development work produces a ledger that is suitable for use

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create a snake and ladder game to educate eighth grade students at Mts Syekh Subakir 2 Sumberasri vocabulary on recount texts. The R&D Method was used by the researcher to conduct this study. So research and development methods are methods that produce, develop and test the effectiveness of a product. The design and creation of snake and ladder media resulted in a media validation questionnaire from experts as proof that snake and ladder media in this study is suitable for use as a medium for teaching recount text vocabulary to eighth grade students of Syekh Subakir 2 Sumberasri. This research was conducted to find problems experienced by eighth grade students in English lessons and provide solutions to these problems. In eighth grade Syekh Subakir 2 Sumberasri, the researcher found a problem with students, namely a lack of vocabulary knowledge, which hindered the learning process. Therefore, the researcher created snake and ladder game media as an English learning media so that students were motivated to learn vocabulary.
