Abstract

The massive digital transformation policy in Indonesia's education sector promises breakthroughs in the quality and accessibility of learning. However, behind the technocratic optimism, there are deep implications that touch aspects of ethics, pedagogy and state respo nsibility. This research aims to critically analyze three fundamental issues: (1) the ethical impact of collecting and using student data on a large scale; (2) fundamental changes in pedagogical paradigms that accompany technology adoption; and (3) the role of the state in navigating the tension between digital innovation and protecting children's rights. Using library research methods on curated journal articles and relevant books, this research found that the practice of collecting student data poses serious risks to privacy and demands a redefinition of the teacher professional code of ethics in the digital era. Furthermore, it was found that the changes that occurred were often still instrumental, rather than a substantive pedagogical paradigm transformation. The state, in its role as a regulator, is faced with the crucial challenge of formulating policies that not only encourage technological progress, but also ensure fairness, inclusiveness and security for students. The implications of this research emphasize the urgency of shifting focus from simply implementing technology towards developing a digital educational ecosystem that is humane, ethical and centered on empowerment.

Abstract

Di era kemajuan globalisasi dan revolusi industri 4.0, sistem pendidikan harus menanamkan nilai - nilai budaya yang menjadi dasar ciri khas suatu bangsa selain Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK). Kurikulum merdeka juga memiliki fokus utama dalam penerapannya, yaitu pengembangan kompetensi dan karakter siswa yang sesuai dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, yang memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa dalam memperkuat karakter melalui pengetahuan dan belajar dari lingkungan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi dan mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran matematika SMP di Kecamatan Sukorejo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mixed methods research, yaitu pendekatan penelitian yang mengintegrasikan antara metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan data kualitatif melalui wawancara. Hasil kuesioner dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif berbentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa SMP memiliki motivasi dan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika yang memanfaatkan media berbasis teknologi dan memuat unsur budaya lokal. Untuk itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dengan integrasi budaya lokal menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif dan sebagai bentuk integrasi dari perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi berintegrasi budaya lokal sangat diperlukan untuk menciptakan pembelajaran matematika yang menarik, bermakna, dan menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap budaya daerah.

Abstract

Tradisi Petik Laut (Rokat Tase’) di Kabupaten Sumenep mengandung nilai-nilai sosial seperti gotong royong, solidaritas, dan musyawarah yang berpotensi menjadi sumber pembelajaran. Namun, nilai budaya tersebut belum diintegrasikan secara optimal dalam pembelajaran sekolah dasar, sehingga keterampilan kerjasama siswa masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Petik Laut dalam pembelajaran kolaboratif serta dampaknya terhadap keterampilan kerjasama siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain etnografi pendidikan, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan guru, siswa, dan tokoh adat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptasi nilai Petik Laut ke dalam aktivitas pembelajaran, seperti proyek pembuatan miniatur perahu, diskusi kelompok, dan refleksi nilai secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi, pembagian tugas, sikap saling membantu, dan penyelesaian konflik siswa. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan penguatan identitas budaya dan kesadaran ekologis. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran kolaboratif efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial serta mendukung pelestarian budaya dan penguatan karakter sesuai tuntutan kompetensi abad ke-21.

Abstract

Mathematics education at the junior high school level plays an important role in building critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills in the 21st century era. Although mathematical abilities between genders tend to be equal, students' learning experiences in Indonesia are still influenced by social stereotypes, limitations of adaptive teaching media, and potentially biased assessment designs. This article aims to map and develop a framework for mathematics learning strategies that support inclusivity and gender equality in the context of teacher innovation in the Independent Curriculum. The research uses a systematic literature review approach with thematic-narrative synthesis. The literature was collected from international and national scientific databases, selected in stages using the full text identification–screening–feasibility flow, and reviewed for quality through a methodological checklist from the Joanna Briggs Institute. Data were analyzed through open and axial coding to produce key themes including differentiation (content-process-product), heterogeneous collaborative learning with non-gender role rotation, use of neutral context in the questions, and adaptive authentic assessment design that assesses thought processes and group contributions. Key findings confirm that gender inclusion and equity in mathematics are determined more by the structure of application and design of learning experiences than by differences in basic abilities. Practically, this article offers a contribution in the form of a prototype teacher toolkit that includes a checklist of bias-free materials and questions (aspects of language, context, role, and name representation), operational examples of SPLDV differentiation tasks (visual–numeric–verbal), as well as a 4C-based assessment rubric model and equality reflection. The implication is that teachers can directly use adaptive OER and bias check instruments in module planning, while schools and policy makers such as BSKAP and the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia can strengthen support through micro-training, practitioner communities, and improvement of the assessment ecosystem in education units.

Abstract

This research explores the therapy process for a young child who suffers from severe anxiety towards loud noises, a result of previous family trauma. The goal of this study is to assess how effective systematic desensitization is in minimizing the child's fearful reactions and enhancing their everyday activities. A qualitative case study approach was utilized, gathering information through interviews, behavioral assessments, and records collected over five counseling sessions. The intervention incorporated organized phases that involved relaxation exercises, gradual exposure to sound, and reinforcement of healthy coping strategies. Results show that at the beginning, the child exhibited significant physical and emotional reactions such as flinching, avoidance, and ongoing anxiety about future sounds. Following the gradual implementation of systematic desensitization, the child showed improved tolerance for different sounds, less avoidance, and better management of their emotions. Educators and caregivers also noted positive changes in the child's involvement in classroom activities and social interactions. This study concludes that systematic desensitization effectively addresses trauma associated with sound in children, especially when there is strong communication support between family and school. The findings emphasize the necessity of early intervention, a consistent approach to exposure, and a teamwork atmosphere to enhance therapeutic outcomes and mitigate long-lasting psychological effects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan micro speaking dalam meningkatkan kosa kata produktif siswa di SMPN 1 Plered. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus sehingga peneliti dapat memahami proses pembelajaran dalam kondisi kelas yang sebenarnya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sehingga informasi yang diperoleh mencerminkan pengalaman nyata guru dan siswa selama mengikuti kegiatan micro speaking. Fokus utama penelitian terletak pada perubahan penggunaan kosa kata, keberanian berbicara, serta keterlibatan siswa setelah beberapa sesi latihan lisan singkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan kosa kata produktif. Siswa mulai lebih berani berbicara tanpa harus menunggu instruksi guru dan dapat menggunakan kosa kata baru secara lebih tepat dan lancar. Guru menyatakan bahwa micro speaking membantu memperkuat ingatan siswa terhadap kosa kata karena setiap latihan memberi kesempatan untuk mempraktikkannya secara langsung. Perubahan positif ini juga terlihat pada suasana kelas yang lebih aktif sehingga interaksi antar siswa berjalan lebih alami. Peningkatan kualitas penggunaan kosa kata tampak pada pilihan kata, ketepatan pengucapan, serta kemampuan menyusun kalimat lebih panjang. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa micro speaking dapat dijadikan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan kosa kata produktif di sekolah menengah pertama. Sesi latihan singkat memberi ruang kepada siswa untuk mencoba berbicara dalam suasana yang terarah tetapi tetap nyaman. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan metode pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang dapat diterapkan dalam waktu terbatas tetapi tetap memberikan dampak bagi kemampuan lisan siswa. Penelitian lanjutan dapat dilakukan untuk melihat efek jangka panjang dari penggunaan micro speaking pada kemampuan berbicara yang lebih kompleks. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan faktor penyebab rendahnya keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran kooperatif di kelas 3 SDN Kebun Bunga 6. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran aktif belum berjalan optimal karena siswa kurang terlibat dalam kerja kelompok. Rendahnya keterlibatan dipengaruhi oleh ketimpangan kemampuan akademik, kurangnya fokus dan kemampuan membaca, serta minimnya dukungan orang tua. Penggabungan dua kelas akibat renovasi sekolah juga membuat suasana belajar tidak kondusif dan sulit dikelola. Kondisi ini menyebabkan hanya sebagian siswa yang aktif, sementara lainnya pasif. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kesiapan siswa, dukungan keluarga, dan pengelolaan kelas dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran kooperatif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of human resources (teachers) in implementing deep learning at SD Negeri 005 Sangasanga. Deep learning is a key component of the Merdeka Curriculum, emphasizing the development of critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that teachers possess several strengths that support the implementation of deep learning, including strong commitment to curriculum change, high motivation, extensive teaching experience, adequate basic pedagogical skills, and openness to new instructional approaches. However, the study also identifies several significant weaknesses, such as limited digital literacy, difficulties in designing inquiry- and project-based learning, insufficient application of authentic assessment, limited creativity in developing exploratory learning activities, and heavy administrative workloads. The conceptual model of findings indicates that the success of deep learning implementation is shaped by the interaction between teachers’ strengths and weaknesses. These results highlight the need for more targeted professional development programs and stronger institutional support to ensure the effective and sustainable implementation of deep learning practices.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of gamification-based formative assessment, specifically using Quizizz and Crossword Puzzles (TTS), on student learning outcomes in economics, focusing on the material concerning the division and scope of economics. While previous research confirmed the benefits of game-based assessments in enhancing motivation and learning, a direct comparative study between Quizizz and TTS was rare, especially on this fundamental economic topic. Employing a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design, the study used Purposive Sampling to select two groups of 36 students each at UPT SMAN 13 Sinjai: one group treated with Quizizz and the other with TTSData analysis using JASP involved the Independent Samples t-test on post-test score. The descriptive analysis showed that the TTS group achieved a significantly higher average score (x=82.92) compared to the Quizizz group (x =72.11). The Independent Samples t-test confirmed a statistically significant difference (p < 0.001) in learning outcomes, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis. The conclusion highlights that the Crossword Puzzle (TTS) method is substantially more effective due to its ability to encourage deeper cognitive processing, active elaborative encoding, and a more stress-free, engaging learning environment, leading to stronger long-term memory retention than the quick-response nature of Quizizz

Abstract

The use of social media among adolescents is increasing and has the potential to affect mental health. Junior high school students are a group that is vulnerable to emotional, behavioral, and social relationship disorders due to high digital exposure. The main problems in this study are the high intensity of social media use among students at SMP Negeri 6 Kota Jambi and the high proportion of abnormal mental health. This study aims to determine the relationship between social media use and mental health among adolescents at SMP Negeri 6 Kota Jambi. This study uses acorrelative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consists of all students in grades VII–IX, and the sample consists of 101 respondents selected using stratified random sampling. The independent variable was social media use, and the dependent variable was mental health, which was measured using the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ). Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires, which were then analyzed using the Kendall Tau test. The results showed that most adolescents were in the frequent social media use category (53.5%), and most had abnormal mental health (86.1%). Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between social media use and mental health (p = 0.001) with a correlation strength of r = 0.321, which means a moderate positive relationship. The conclusion of this study is that the higher the social media use, the worse the mental health condition of adolescents.
