Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis representasi pesona lenggok budaya dalam parade seni kolaboratif Hujan Karya #9 sebagai bentuk respons seni kontemporer terhadap tantangan pelestarian budaya di era globalisasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, dilakukan melalui observasi langsung terhadap pertunjukan, dokumentasi visual, serta analisis deskriptif-interpretatif berbasis estetika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lenggok dimanifestasikan secara interdisipliner melalui gerak tari, ritme visual seni rupa, dan dinamika busana. Simpulan menegaskan peran kolaborasi ini sebagai ruang representasi budaya yang efektif dalam menjembatani tradisi dengan praktik seni modern. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan model serupa sebagai sarana pembelajaran seni kolaboratif dan objek kajian budaya lanjutan.

This study aims to determine the effect of the experimental method on students' awareness of environmental cleanliness in IPAS (Integrated Natural and Social Sciences) learning in Grade IV at SDN 003 Bangkinang. The research was motivated by the low level of students’ awareness in maintaining school cleanliness, such as littering, neglecting class duties, and showing little care for classroom facilities. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of two classes: Class IV A as the control group and Class IV B as the experimental group. The experimental class was taught using the experimental method, while the control class used the lecture and discussion method.The research instruments included tests (pretest and posttest), questionnaires, and observations. The results showed that the posttest average score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. The average posttest score for the experimental class was 87.56, while the control class scored 75.56. Moreover, the questionnaire results indicated a significant improvement in environmental cleanliness awareness among students in the experimental class after the implementation of the experimental method. Based on the t-test, the significance value (2-tailed) was less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the experimental method has a significant effect on increasing students’ environmental cleanliness awareness in IPAS learning in Grade IV at SDN 003 Bangkinang. This research shows that the problem-solving ability of fifth-grade students is still low; students have difficulty in understanding problems, planning, implementing the solution, and drawing conclusions on mathematical word problems. The objective of this study is to determine the extent of the influence of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of fifth-grade students at SDN 005 Langgini compared to the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The method used in this research is a quasi-experiment with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research population was all fifth-grade students at SDN 005 Langgini, with Class 5B designated as the experimental group applying the RME model, and Class 5A as the control group using the PBL model. The data collection techniques used were observation and tests (pretest and posttest). Data analysis was performed using the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results of the t-test on the posttest data show a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.026. Since the significance value of 0.026 is smaller than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a statistically significant difference between the average problem-solving abilities of the experimental group and the control group. This indicates that the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) Learning Model has a significant influence on the improvement of the problem-solving ability of fifth-grade students at SDN 005 Langgini.

This study aims to describe the level of student satisfaction of the Library and Information Science Study Program at Padang State University with the iPusnas application as librarians based on the dimensions of system quality, information quality, service quality, actual use or intention to use, user satisfaction, and net benefits according to the DeLone and McLean model. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with 78 students of the Library and Information Science Study Program at Padang State University from the classes of 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 who used the iPusnas application as subjects. The results showed that the level of student satisfaction of the Library and Information Science Study Program at Padang State University with the iPusnas application was in the high category with an average score of 81.77. This indicates that the iPusnas application has successfully met the information needs of students as academic librarians, although there are still several aspects that need to be improved. This study recommends technical improvements to the system, the addition of copies of popular books, and regular collection updates to continuously increase user satisfaction.

Twenty-first-century education requires students not only to master cognitive aspects but also to develop critical, creative, and collaborative thinking skills, as well as environmental awareness. Natural and Social Sciences Learning (IPAS) serves as an important medium for instilling environmental care values from an early age, especially in elementary schools. This study aims to describe the role of IPAS learning in fostering environmental care attitudes among third-grade students at SDN 74 Bontorita II. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results indicate that prior to the implementation of IPAS learning, students’ level of environmental awareness was relatively low, as reflected in a lack of awareness in disposing of waste properly and minimal participation in cleanliness activities. After the implementation of environment-based IPAS learning through observation activities, hands-on practices, and simple projects such as poster creation and classroom clean-up actions, a significant improvement in environmentally caring behavior was observed. Improvements were seen in proper waste disposal (from 40% to 85%), understanding of waste types (from 35% to 90%), participation in cleanliness activities (from 30% to 80%), and independence in maintaining cleanliness (from 45% to 88%). These findings indicate that contextual and project-based IPAS learning is effective in fostering environmental awareness and students’ social responsibility. Therefore, IPAS learning plays an important role in shaping environmentally caring character among elementary school students.

This study aims to examine practice-based dance learning strategies as a response to contemporary challenges in arts education. As an integral component of arts education, dance learning requires direct engagement through bodily experience, exploration, and reflective processes. However, current educational practices tend to prioritize theoretical approaches, which often limit students’ active participation in learning. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using a qualitative literature review method. Data were collected from national and international scholarly sources, including peer-reviewed journal articles, academic books, and educational policy documents published between 2020 and 2025. The data were analyzed thematically to identify key challenges, conceptual patterns, and pedagogical strategies related to practice-based dance learning. The findings indicate that practice-based learning strategies play a crucial role in addressing contemporary challenges in arts education by enhancing student engagement, creativity, and aesthetic experience. Furthermore, such strategies contribute to strengthening cultural awareness and contextualized learning. The study concludes that practice-based dance learning offers significant theoretical and practical contributions to the development of contemporary arts education and provides a relevant pedagogical framework for educators in designing meaningful and experience-oriented dance learning processes.

Students' reading interest at SD Negeri 4 Metro Timur still shows low scores and is one of the important problems in learning. One program developed to address this problem is the School Literacy Movement. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the School Literacy Movement and increased reading interest in second-grade students at SD Negeri 4 Metro Timur. This study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The research subjects were 88 students. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis used simple linear regression. The results showed that the relationship between the school literacy movement and increased student reading interest contributed 16.1%. This finding suggests that the implementation of a planned and sustainable school literacy movement can increase reading interest in elementary school students.

This study aimed to determine the effect of digital citizenship on the digital ethics of eleventh-grade students at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. The study employed a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 76 students selected through random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews, while data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that digital citizenship had a positive and significant effect on digital ethics, accounting for 42.0%. This effect occurred because students who possessed good digital citizenship tended to be more responsible in interacting and communicating in digital spaces. Students with good digital citizenship were found to have good digital ethics as well, enabling them to demonstrate positive actions or activities in digital environments, such as providing valid information, avoiding hate speech, refraining from insulting others, and maintaining the good reputation of others on social media. Digital citizenship among students was proven to contribute to the strengthening of ethical digital behavior, particularly in communication and interaction within digital spaces or social media. This research is motivated by the results of field observations, namely the still low cursive writing skills of grade IIIA students at SDN 07 Talamau. These problems are shown by students in understanding the direction and sequence of cursive strokes, letter shapes that do not conform to the rules of cursive, non-uniform letter sizes and inconsistent letter spacing. In addition, the writing learning process is still centered on the teacher so that students still do not play an active role in the learning process. This study aims to describe the improvement of students' cursive writing skills through the guided writing method. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study was carried out in two cycles, with research procedures consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research data obtained are related to cursive writing skills through the guided writing method. Data collection techniques include observation analysis, tests and non-tests. The subjects of this study were the class teacher as observer, the researcher as practitioner, and 14 grade IIIA students of SDN 07 Talamau. The results of the study showed an improvement in students' cursive writing skills. The average cursive writing skill in cycle I was 73.85%, which then increased to 84.27% in cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the guided writing method can improve students' cursive writing skills in Indonesian language learning in third grade at SDN 07 Talamau. This study aims to describe the implementation of Canva as a learning medium in developing comic strip writing skills within the Indonesian language subject. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected from students of class X AKT 1 through observation techniques. Data analysis was conducted descriptively to provide a comprehensive overview of the research object. The findings indicate that 36 students in class X AKT 1 successfully utilized Canva to create comic strip projects creatively and innovatively according to their respective themes. It can be concluded that Canva is an effective medium for Indonesian language learning, particularly for anecdote text materials in comic strip format.
