Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Inclusive education is an educational approach that ensures all students, regardless of their abilities, receive equal learning opportunities. This study analyzes the implementation of inclusive education at SDN Margorejo 1 Surabaya. The research focuses on the challenges, strategies, and outcomes of inclusive education in this school. Data were collected through qualitative methods, including interviews with teachers, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that while inclusive education has been integrated into the school's curriculum, several obstacles such as limited resources, teacher preparedness, and parental involvement still hinder its effectiveness. The study suggests strategies for improving inclusive education implementation.

Pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada materi perkalian, masih menjadi tantangan bagi siswa kelas III SDN 36/I Kilangan. Banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal perkalian, terutama dengan angka yang lebih besar, serta bergantung pada alat bantu hitung. Selain itu, media pembelajaran belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh pendidik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media Batang Napier dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung perkalian serta menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan siswa setelah menggunakan media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Batang Napier dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa secara signifikan. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan klasikal meningkat dari 22,22% pada pertemuan pertama menjadi 40% pada pertemuan kedua. Pada siklus II, ketuntasan klasikal naik dari 55,55% menjadi 88,88%. Selain itu, hasil tes juga menunjukkan peningkatan, di mana rata-rata nilai siswa pada siklus I sebesar 58% meningkat menjadi 81,11% pada siklus II. Dengan pencapaian ketuntasan klasikal yang melebihi kriteria keberhasilan (70%), penggunaan media Batang Napier terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa. Oleh karena itu, media ini direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika guna membantu siswa memahami konsep perkalian dengan lebih baik.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Ngembalrejo dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) berbantuan media kartu kata. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) untuk model PTK yang digunakan adalah model Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah 11 siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap prasiklus, hanya 31% siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP). Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan siswa meningkat menjadi 63,63%, dan setelah refleksi serta perbaikan pada siklus II, persentase ketuntasan siswa mencapai 90,90%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini pada penerapan model CIRC dengan media kartu kata terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa.

This study looks at how the writings of the Spirit of Prophecy can help young people today, who face many moral and spiritual challenges. By reading and studying this article, it is hoped that young people will get better guidance for life, improve their spiritual understanding, and find positive values to deal with everyday situations. The research is qualitative and uses a literature review method. The researcher explores the benefits of the Spirit of Prophecy writings for young people in the modern world, reading different sources and articles. This study suggests ways for young people to avoid becoming too dependent on gadgets and social media, avoid an instant lifestyle, and build good relationships with others in real life. Overall, the writings of the Spirit of Prophecy play a key role in helping young people grow into strong individuals with good character, even in the face of contemporary challenges.

This study aims to analyze the effect of micro-teaching on improving teaching skills of German Language Education Study Program students at Medan State University. The problem identified is the need to improve students teaching skills before plunging into the real world of education. This research used descriptive qualitative method with research subjects of 20-25 students who had taken the micro-teaching course. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis used thematic analysis which included data reduction, data grouping, and data interpretation with data triangulation for validity. The results showed that micro-teaching contributed positively to the development of basic teaching skills, especially in the ability to speak and interact with students (69.9%), the use of teaching methods (46.4%), and classroom management (28.6%). However, mastery of the material (25%) still needs to be improved. This study concludes that micro-teaching is effective in improving students' teaching skills, but there needs to be optimization in the aspects of mastery of material and classroom management.

Pada berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir reflektif siswa sekolah dasar, terutama dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA), masih berada pada tingkat yang rendah. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektif model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) yang berdiferensiasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir reflektif siswa kelas IV di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan dilakukan di SD Hang Tuah 10 Juanda dengan melibatkan 49 siswa dari dua kelas, IV A dan IV C. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes gaya belajar, lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD), pretest, posttest, dan angket, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji T dan N-Gain. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan model PBL dengan pendekatan yang berdiferensiasi mampu meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam proses belajar. Model ini mendorong siswa untuk berpartisipasi lebih aktif dan interaktif, serta meningkatkan antusiasme dan motivasi mereka dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pendidik dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa.

This study aims to optimize learning to read the Qur'an through the Iqro' method at Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard Taman Setia Malaysia with 5 students as research subjects. By using a qualitative approach and descriptive methods, this study involves a number of techniques to collect data, namely observation, interviews, and documentation to understand the effectiveness of the Iqro' method in improving children's reading skills. The problems raised are the many children who have difficulty in reading the Qur'an in a good and correct way, as well as the lack of understanding of the right method to teach children to read the Qur'an. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations for improving the effectiveness of learning to read the Qur'an at Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard, so that it can help children master the skills of reading the Qur'an better.

The purpose of this study is to examine how well the interactive learning resource Wordwall works as an assessment tool for Science and Social Studies (IPAS) instruction at the elementary school level.. Wordwall, a digital-based platform, offers various interactive features that support more engaging and efficient evaluation processes. The study used a qualitative-descriptive methodology, gathering data through interviews and observation. Teachers and fifth-graders were the study's subjects at SD Muhammadiyah 7 Surabaya who had implemented Wordwall in their learning evaluations. The findings revealed that Wordwall usage could enhance students' learning motivation, provide enjoyable and meaningful evaluation experiences, and offer more effective feedback to teachers. Moreover, this media allows students to learn independently through enjoyable evaluation activities. However, challenges such as limited technological devices and internet access were identified as obstacles to its implementation. This study recommends the gradual integration of Wordwall into IPAS learning to improve the quality of evaluations and students' learning outcomes.

The development of the 21st century is becoming increasingly complex in the fields of knowledge, technology, and information on a global scale, fundamentally aimed at improving the quality of life for society. The type of this research is quasi-experimental. (Quasi Experiment). This research aims to determine how the literacy improvement of high school students in classes taught using the discovery learning model and classes taught using the conventional model, as well as to understand the impact of the discovery learning model on the literacy improvement of high school students. The design of this research is a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study consists of students from the XII MIPA class at SMAN 15 Makassar. The research samples are the XII MIPA 1 and XII MIPA 2 classes. The research instrument in this study is a science literacy ability test in the form of 20 multiple-choice questions. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, inferential statistics including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests in the form of t-tests. The analysis of students' science literacy who applied the discovery learning model was better compared to the class that applied the direct instruction model. This is evidenced by the average science literacy score of the experimental class being 65.56 and the control class being 60.69, with the science literacy in the experimental class showing an increase based on the average N-Gain score of 44.55, categorized as moderate.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berpikir reflektif siswa pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam dan sosial, yang sebelumnya belum pernah diukur. Keterampilan berpikir reflektif sangat penting dimiliki oleh siswa. Dari hasil observasi diketahui bahwa nilai IPAS siswa masih rendah. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir reflektif siswa SD adalah model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (Problem Based Learning/PBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan berpikir reflektif siswa melalui model problem based learning (PBL) pada materi "Gaya di Sekitar Kita" kelas IV SDN Purisemanding 1, serta mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA pada materi yang sama. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan referensi dan bahan pertimbangan bagi guru untuk perbaikan ke depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir reflektif siswa. Dengan model ini, siswa mendapat kesempatan untuk memecahkan masalah sehingga kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dapat tercipta, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir reflektif siswa. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning secara umum sangat positif. Siswa merasa senang karena mendapat kesempatan untuk menyatakan ide, menanggapi pertanyaan, mengajukan pertanyaan, dan mempresentasikan hasil pekerjaan mereka. Siswa juga menunjukkan keterampilan dalam menyelesaikan persoalan selama pembelajaran.
