Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the SALAM learning model in enhancing teachers' subjective well-being (SWB). The SALAM model, consisting of five steps (Teaching Enthusiasm, Asking Questions About Feelings, Actively Engaging Students, Analyzing the Learning Process, and Monitoring Learning Outcomes through Reflection), is designed to facilitate teachers' roles as learning leaders. The research employed a quasi-experimental method using a cluster randomized pretest and posttest control group design. The results showed that the SALAM model training significantly improved teachers' subjective well-being, with an alpha value of 0.03. The experimental group scored higher (3.00) compared to the control group (0.90). Teachers' subjective well-being includes improvements in job satisfaction, teaching efficacy, and school connectedness through positive collaboration. The SALAM learning model simplifies teachers' tasks in leading classroom learning and enhances their professional competence. Increased teaching skills positively affect teachers' confidence in teaching, ultimately boosting their subjective well-being. The study's implications indicate that implementing the SALAM model in teacher training programs can improve teaching quality and teaching happiness. Further research is needed to evaluate the sustainability of the intervention's effects over the long term.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of self-efficacy and social support in enhancing career adaptability among recent graduates in the modern workplace, focusing on the Jakarta metropolitan area.  Recent graduates face significant challenges in leaping from academia to the professional world. Rapid technological advancements and a constantly evolving job market demand adaptability and resilience. As new graduates navigate this complex landscape, they often encounter uncertainty and ambiguity, making it crucial to possess the skills to adapt to changing circumstances This research uses a quantitative approach; data from 213 recent graduates were collected through an online questionnaire. The Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS), General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE), and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) were utilized toS measure the variables. Regression analysis revealed that both self-efficacy and social support have a significant positive impact on career adaptability. These findings underscore the importance of these two factors in assisting recent graduates in navigating complex and dynamic work environments. Moreover, the study highlights that recent graduates with high self-efficacy are more confident and adaptable in the workplace. Those with a strong sense of career control make more informed career decisions. While most participants demonstrated moderate adaptability, participants with high self-efficacy expressed a keen interest in career development and planning. Practical implications suggest that organizations should prioritize developing self-efficacy and providing robust social support systems to aid recent graduates in their career transitions.

Abstract

Information technology has become an integral part of everyday life. The use of digital media provides various conveniences in accessing information and services, including in the fields of education and counseling guidance.  The application of web page-based digital media with formfacade integration in counseling guidance information services aims to achieve several main objectives. Increasing information accessibility, providing interesting and interactive materials, supporting effective guidance processes and optimizing the use of technology in education. With this, the research method used is the development of the 4D model, by developing webpage-based digital media with formfacade. Based on the results of the design expert test, the results obtained 92% with a very good category, the results of the content expert test obtained 92.5% with a very good category. This means that the product in terms of design and content is very good. So hopefully, the development of this information service can make a positive contribution in helping students explore and develop their potential optimally.

Abstract

Klitih merupakan fenomena kenakalan remaja yang meresahkan karena tindakan agresif yang merusak dan menyakiti. Perilaku ini umumnya dilakukan oleh remaja usia 11–21 tahun sebagai bentuk pencarian identitas dan pengakuan sosial, sejalan dengan tugas perkembangan mereka. Temuan terbaru menunjukkan peningkatan kasus klitih seiring lonjakan penyalahgunaan narkoba dan penggunaan TikTok. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pengaruh penyalahgunaan narkoba dan adiksi TikTok terhadap agresi secara independen dan simultan. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dan analisis regresi, penelitian melibatkan 100 pelaku klitih melalui purposive sampling. Hasil menunjukkan kontribusi penyalahgunaan narkoba terhadap agresi sebesar 36,2%, adiksi TikTok 38,2%, dan kontribusi simultan sebesar 40,8%, dengan signifikansi hanya pada adiksi TikTok yang diduga karena mekanisme kedua prediktor yang memiliki kemiripan. Temuan penelitian ini menawarkan wawasan baru dalam memahami dan mencegah perilaku agresif seperti klitih.

Abstract

Indonesia occupies the fourth position with the most internet users in the world (Prasasti, 2022), the MENKOMINFO further stated that internet users in Indonesia account for 73.7 percent of the total population. The increase in internet users in Indonesia is in line with the raising cases of cyberbullying, UNICEF (2022) states that 12 percent of victims of cyberbullying become perpetrators of cyberbullying. The aim of this research is to see the effect of cognitive distortion on displaced aggression and the moderating effect of moral disengagement. The research method used was quantitative with purposive sampling data collection techniques, and the data were analyzed using moderated regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 21. The study participants totaled 135 people, most of the participants were women (n = 78), and the average participant was at very high cognitive distortion (n=64), moderate moral disengagement (n=63), and very high displaced aggression (n=65). The results of the analysis show that cognitive distortion causes a person to experience displaced aggression (β=0.466; p0.05), but several dimensions of moral disengagement have a significant influence including moral justification (β=0.280; p<0.01). In conclusion, this study found that cognitive distortion affects displaced aggression behavior in victims of cyberbullying and moral disengagement in this research has an influence on displaced aggression as an independent variable but does not moderate the relationship between cognitive distortion and displaced aggression (predictor of moderation).

Abstract

Memberikan kerelaan yang sebanding dengan kontribusi dan prestasi kerja guru merupakan bentuk penghargaan dari dayah terhadap usaha dan hasil kerja yang telah mereka capai. Kompensasi mendorong perilaku-perilaku yang diinginkan dayah, seperti loyalitas yang tinggi dari guru. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi loyalitas adalah pemulihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kompensasi dengan loyalitas pada guru di Dayah Al-Madinatuddiniyah Syamsuddhuha Cot Murong Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di Dayah Al-Madinatuddiniyah Syamsuddhuha Cot Murong Kabupaten Aceh Utara yang berjumlah 70 guru. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Alat ukur pada penelitian ini disusun oleh peneliti yaitu Skala Kompensasi berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang dikemukakan oleh Umar dan Skala Loyalitas berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang dikemukakan oleh Chairuddin, Rani & Alicia. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji korelasi pearson product moment . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar r = 0,472 dengan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,000 sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima. Hubungan kedua variabel menunjukkan hubungan kearah positif semakin tinggi yaitu kompensasi tinggi maka semakin tinggi pula loyalitas dan sebaliknya semakin rendah kompensasi semakin rendah pula loyalitas.

Abstract

This study aims to modify the Smartphone Addiction Scale (SAS) measuring instrument compiled by Kwon et al (2013) which consists of 6 dimensions. The study used quantitative methods with a total of 258 respondents aged 17-26 years or are in emerging adulthood in Indonesia. Purposive sampling. Researchers modified the smart phone addiction measuring instrument (SAS) from 43 items to 49 items. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the content validity test showed 4 items were invalid, the item difference test resulted in 2 invalid items, and factor analysis of 5 invalid items. The final number of items is 38 items. The results of the multidimensional test show that the dimensions of interference in daily life have an r value of .857, positive anticipation has an r value of .810, withdrawal has an r value of .827, relationship orientation in cyberspace has an r value of .806, excessive use of smartphones has an r value of .848, and, tolerance has an r value of .765, whereas, the alpha reliability test results obtained a value of 0.937 and the modified smart phone addiction measuring instrument model is fit.

Abstract

Adolescence is a stage that is vulnerable to psychological pressure, making it crucial to identify internal factors that can enhance subjective well-being. This study aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy on subjective well-being, mediated by resilience in senior high school students. A quantitative approach was employed. Participants consisted of 449 students selected through cluster random sampling. The instruments used included the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES-12), the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), and the Brief Adolescent Subjective Well-Being in School Scale (BASWBSS). Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) via SmartPLS software. The results revealed that self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on both resilience and subjective well-being. Resilience also positively influenced subjective well-being and significantly mediated the relationship between self-efficacy and subjective well-being. These findings highlight that enhancing students’ self-efficacy can strengthen their resilience, which ultimately contributes to improved subjective well-being. The implications of this study underscore the importance of fostering self-efficacy and resilience as key components in efforts to promote psychological well-being among high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between mobbing and adversity quotient (AQ) among vocational high school students (SMK) in the DKI Jakarta area. A quantitative correlational approach was used, with Spearman’s rank correlation test employed to measure the relationship between the mobbing variable and adversity quotient. The mobbing variable in this study was assessed using five indicators: effects on self-expression and communication, social contact, personal reputation, work situation and quality of life, and physical health. Meanwhile, AQ was measured using four indicators: control, origin & ownership, reach, and endurance. The Spearman correlation test results indicated a significant positive relationship between mobbing and adversity quotient (r = 0.583, p < 0.01). These findings suggest that the higher the level of mobbing experienced by students, the greater the challenges they face in maintaining psychological resilience. This result can serve as a need assessment basis for guidance and counseling teachers in designing preventive interventions focused on strengthening students' resilience in dealing with social pressure. The findings also provide valuable insight for educators in fostering a safe, emotionally healthy, and mentally supportive learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the honest character of students based on the thoughts of Al Ghazali and Said Hawa. This research approach is quantitative with the descriptive method of comparative technique using a questionnaire instrument, study documentation, and observation. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and reliability and validity test analysis techniques. Based on the results of quantitative research through reliability and validity tests, we obtained that the honest character data of students were in the reasonably honest category. There was a need for more profound, honest character development in the oral and determination aspects.
