Abstract

Having good knowledge and attitude related to the prevention of Tuberculosis is very important as control disease efforts and also supported by a positive and appropriate attitude. Actually, positive behavior can improve the prevention of Tuberculosis disease that would support the government to control the disease. This community service aims to improve the knowledge of students about Tuberculosis disease that would inhibit the transmission of disease in the Islamic Boarding School Inshafuddin, Banda Aceh. This community service activity was implemented by presenting counseling information and distributing leaflets about Tuberculosis disease to all students who join in this event. The activity is held on strict health protocols such as open space that meets adequate ventilation requirements and wearing a mask, washing hands first before entering the counseling area, and sitting more than 1 meter apart. The number of students who participated in this event was about 30 students and was attended by several teachers. All activity participants stated that this activity was very useful and could improved knowledge related to Tuberculosis disease.

Abstract

Kosmetik merupakan kebutuhan yang banyak digunakan masyarakat tanpa selalu memperhatikan aspek keamanan dan kehalalan produk. Rendahnya literasi konsumen terhadap kandungan bahan kosmetik dan pentingnya label halal menjadi permasalahan utama, khususnya di masyarakat pesisir pedesaan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir melalui edukasi tentang kosmetik aman dan halal di Desa Wawatu, Kecamatan Moramo Utara, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan interaktif mengenai regulasi, identifikasi produk aman dan halal. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 73,56 ± 8,49 pada pretest menjadi 89,93 ± 5,32 pada posttest (p 0,05), yang menandakan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta. Kegiatan ini berhasil menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya keamanan dan kehalalan kosmetik. Diharapkan edukasi serupa dapat dilanjutkan secara berkelanjutan untuk memperkuat kemandirian dan potensi ekonomi masyarakat desa.

Abstract

The Non-Governmental Organization (KSM) Sepakat is a form of community participation in waste processing. This KSM is located in Pasar Ujung Subdistrict, Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu Province. KSM Sepakat was established in 2010 and from 2017 has stoped and vacuum from all activitiy to now. One of the factors that causes this vacuum is the damage to production equipment, including components in sewing machines. In addition, the lack of assistance and guidance from the local government has caused the motivation of the members to decrease so that production has decreased too. One of the efforts to re-exist and to reproduce again is sewing machine repair training to all KSM members. This training aims to ensure that each member has basic skills in repairing sewing machines so that if a damage occurs, it will not interfere with the production of waste processing. The method used in this training is through lectures, demonstrations, discussion and direct practice. From the results of the questionnaire, it can be seen that the participants can understand the material well and the material provided is in accordance with the problems in the field. Apart from that, from the questionnaire, it can be seen that the training participants are again committed to activating the activities at KSM Sepakat

Abstract

Distance learning causes teachers to think creatively so that the teaching and learning process continues as it should. In addition, various platforms and media for online learning are still not widely known by teachers. The Whatsapp application is an application that is already widely used. In this application, it is possible to form groups that can gather many people to be able to chat with each other and exchange information that allows the delivery of messages in groups besides delivering messages individually. The purpose of this service is so that teachers can make maximum use of the Whatsapp media as a distance learning facility. The method in this service of AbdiMas team took the initiative to conduct a one day coaching clinic using the Whatsapp application as a means of evaluating student learning to SIT Mush'ab bin Umair teachers. The conclusion of this dedication activity is that this community service activity is felt to be very beneficial for the SIT Mush'ab bin Umair teachers. In part, the limitations of online learning facilities and infrastructure can be overcome by using Whatsapp. The use of Whatsapp as an online exam means is considered relatively cheap with a wide reach, easy to use, especially for most of the students of SIT Mush'ab bin Umair who are still in grades 1 and 2.

Abstract

Bencana yang terjadi di Indonesia telah berdampak serius dan mengganggu penyelenggaraan layanan pendidikan. Dampak terburuk dari sebuah bencana adalah hilangnya nyawa maupun terjadinya cedera parah di sekolah. Namun demikian, sumber daya sekolah belum disiapkan untuk sigap dan tanggap dalam bencana. Berdasarkan kajian risiko bencana di PAUD Terpadu ‘Aisyiyah Kaliwates tidak tersedia rambu-rambu seperti jalur evakuasi, titik kumpul, dan protap kebencanaan. Sekolah belum melakukan simulasi secara rutin terkait penanggulangan bencana. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi: 1) Focus Group Discussion bersama mitra terkait penyusunan instrumen kajian risiko bencana; 2) melakukan kajian risiko bencana; 3) menyusun standar prosedur operasional (SPO) penanggulangan bencana di sekolah; 4) membuat rambu-rambu seperti jalur evakuasi, titik kumpul, dan media edukasi; 5) melakukan pelatihan Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana (SPAB); 6) Melakukan simulasi penanggulangan bencana. Hasil menunjukkan pengetahuan guru tentang bencana sebelum sosialisasi sebagian besar dalam kategori tahu (46%) namun masih terdapat 4% yang menjawab sangat tidak tahu, 7% tidak tahu dan 30% cukup tahu. Setelah sosialiasi, pengetahuan guru tentang bencana meningkat menjadi sangat tahu sejumlah 70% dan sisanya 30% tahu. Keterampilan evakuasi korban, balut bidai, dan perawatan luka juga mengalami peningkatan. Dengan demikian maka SPAB perlu diimplementasikan di sekolah agar semua warga sekolah tanggap bencana.

Abstract

Kuala Geulumpang village is one of the villages in Julok subdistrict where most of the community is a business group that processes fish into cracker or known as pakang fish. One of the problems experienced by the business group is the drying process, especially in the rainy season which result decrease in the color quality and taste of pakang fish products. This service program aims to provide a solution for drying media that is not depend by weather conditions, namely a home dried system using an integrated solar panel media based on solar energy through solar cell and current batteries storage. This method has advantages compared with conventional methods are that are not affected by the weather, faster the drying process, minimizes fish damage caused by decaying so that the quality of the product is maintained and can be accepted by consumers on time. Through the application of fish dryer technology is expected to increase the production and quality of pakang fish produced by the community of Kuala Geulumpang Village so that it can improve the community's economy.

Abstract

Pengabdian mayarakat berbasis mahasisya (PMM) dilakukan di Desa Adat Auman, Plaga dengan salah satu program yang dilakukan adalah pemeriksaan kesehatan. Pemeriksaan kesehatan yang dilakukan adalah parameter kolesterol pada lansia. Pada usia lansia sistem metabolisme telah mengalami penurunan, sehingga resiko adanya peningkatan kolesterol dapat memicu berbagai penyakit degeneratif. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan screening kesehatan parameter kolesterol pada lansia di Desa Adat Auman adalah sebanyak 18,1% lansia memiliki kadar kolesterol normal, lansia yang memiliki kadar kolesterol diantara ambang batas sebanyak 27,7%, dan lansia dengan kadar kolesterol tinggi sebanyak 54,2%. Hal ini menunjukkan 50% lebih lansia beresiko terkena penyakit hiperkolesterolemia, aterosklerosis, dan infack myocard acute (IMA), oleh karena itu perlu peranan dari dinas kesehatan setempat seperti puskesmas dalam memberikan edukasi dan cek kesehatan secara gratis dalam mengurasi resiko hiperkolesterolemia pada lansia di Desa Adat Auman. Hasil pemeriksaan yang dilakukan tersimpan dalam aplikasi kesehatan berbasis rekomendasi akan menjadi gambaran yang dapat dilakukan dan dicegah sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan lansia

Abstract

In a successful college cannot be forgotten the existence of this one factor is the lecturer. Lecturers are the key to success in universities to educate students and students to be useful for the nation and the nation in the future. Some of the lecturers' duties include teaching, research and community service often mentioned by Tri Darma Perguruaan Tinggi. Of the three obligations of a lecturer is asked to have the ability to write skills such as Reports, Theses, Theses, Dissertations, Books, Articles and others. However, to be able to write well it is necessary to practice continuously and know the tools to write one is the tool for the citation and bibliography. Therefore required tools/applications that can help lecturers to write citations and bibliography. Mendeley is an application that can be used to write citations and bibliography,but not all lecturers can use this application. Methods to improve the ability to write lecturers do with several stages of lecture training materials/workshops about the contents of the introduction of Mendeley applications and videos about the ease of using this application, Practice using Mendeley application, Provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions or discussions about the material submitted, Conducting a survey to evaluate is done by spreading Pretest Posttest quizoner with success indicator of success level understanding of participants in this program is 80%. The result of this activity proves that the lecturer can improve his writing ability is very positive for the development of lecturers expertise in making scientific research work. Keywords:Quality of lecturer, Writing, Quote, References.

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan utama dalam kesehatan masyarakat di negara dengan penghasilan menengah ke bawah adalah stunting. Berdasarkan data Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas), prevalensi stunting pada balita pada tahun 2018 mencapai 30,8 persen, yang berarti satu dari tiga balita mengalami kondisi ini. Indonesia menempati peringkat kedua tertinggi di Asia Tenggara dan kelima di dunia dalam hal angka stunting pada anak. Masalah gizi yang dialami oleh remaja putri di Indonesia antara lain adalah status gizi pendek (stunting), anemia, dan Kekurangan Energi Kronis (KEK). Pada dasarnya, masalah gizi di kalangan remaja muncul akibat perilaku gizi yang tidak tepat. Selain itu, masalah gizi ini juga berhubungan dengan kejadian berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR), yang merupakan faktor risiko terjadinya stunting. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah pelayanan dan penyuluhan. Pelayanan berupa  pemeriksaan haemoglobin (Hb) dan pengukuran status gizi  sedangkan penyuluhan mengenai gerakan masyarakat sehat peduli stunting pada remaja putri. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan Hb didapatkan remaja dengan kadar Hb normal 73% sedangkan remaja dengan anemia ringan sebesar 26%. Hasil identifikasi status gizi responden sebagian besar adalah kurus yaitu 39%, sedangkan kategori normal 36% dan gemuk 25%. Penyuluhan gerakan masyarakat sehat bagi remaja putri peduli stunting dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24 Juli 2024 yang dihadiri 45 remaja. Hasil yang diharapkan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan tenaga kesehatan (bidan) dapat menstimulasi remaja putri secara intensif untuk konsisten mengkonsumsi tablet Fe serta monitoring pemeriksaan Hb sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting serta gerakan masyarakat sehat pada remaja putri.

Abstract

Permendiknas No. 16/2007 concerning Academic Qualification Standards and Teacher Competence, Pedagogical Competence of 5th / Senior High School teachers says that "High School / Vocational Teachers must utilize information and communication technology for the benefit of learning". Reinforced in Permendiknas No. 41 of 2007 concerning Process Standards, in accordance with Graduates Competency Standards and Content Standards, the learning principle used in point 13 states that "Utilization of information and communication technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning". But now when the world is entering the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. or the fourth world industrial revolution where technology has become the basis in human life the use of information and communication technology for learning must begin at the Early Childhood Education level (PAUD) in order to be more interesting and interactive and increase children's interest and curiosity in what is taught . The method of applying science and technology used is mobile technology which is very popular at the moment, namely the Android-based children's learning application as an effort to increase knowledge and understanding as well as increase the learning interest of students in grades 2, 3 and 4 of Bereng Kajang Elementary School I. The purpose of this program is to increase knowledge and understanding and increase learning interest of students in grades 2, 3 and 4 of Bereng Kajang I Elementary School on various things including letters, numbers, colors, vegetables, animals, fruits, jobs and vehicles. Both in Indonesian and English pronunciation through the implementation / dissemination of learning applications for children based on Android.
