Abstract

In the contemporary era of globalization, the supervision of education plays a pivotal role in shaping competent individuals capable of navigating the complexities of modern life while upholding Islamic principles. This study delves into the essence of educational supervision within the framework of an integrated Islamic educational institution, aiming to prepare a generation of scholars adept in both worldly affairs and spiritual pursuits. By elucidating the core objectives and methodologies outlined by Dayah Terpadu Al-Muslimun, this research investigates how a comprehensive curriculum, blending modern and Salafi pedagogies, nurtures graduates who embody holistic Islamic values. The study reveals that through a curriculum rooted in Islamic principles and supplemented by the national religious curriculum, students develop a strong foundation in faith, knowledge, and ethics, alongside proficiency in Arabic, English, technology, and organizational skills. The findings underscore the significance of a balanced education that harmonizes religious teachings with contemporary knowledge, fostering individuals who are not only intellectually astute but also morally upright. In conclusion, this research advocates for educational supervision strategies that prioritize the cultivation of well-rounded individuals capable of contributing positively to both the Muslim community and global society

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' communication skills in solving the minimum numeracy competency assessment questions based on learning styles and to determine whether there is a relationship between students' communication abilities based on learning styles. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlation research. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe T.A. 2021/2022. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the communication skills of students with a visual learning style reached 83.33%. These results are in the very good category, where students are able to use various kinds of numbers or symbols related to basic mathematics in solving life problems. Students with an auditory learning style achieve 73.61% are in a good predicate, where students are able to analyze information displayed in various forms (pictures and so on). Furthermore, the achievement of students with kinesthetic learning styles, namely 74.30%, is in the good category. Students are already able to interpret the results of analysis to predict and make decisions, using their own words. There is no significant relationship between visual learning styles and students' mathematical communication skills in solving Numerical questions. Then for the auditory learning style with communication skills there is no significant relationship between auditory learning style and students' mathematical communication skills in solving Numerical questions. Meanwhile, for kinesthetic learning styles and communication skills, there is no significant relationship between kinesthetic learning styles and students' mathematical communication skills in solving Numerical Assesment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the increase in students' vocabulary listening skills before and after implementing the Mondly Arabic application and to determine the effectiveness of using the Mondly Arabic application for class XI students at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. This research uses a quantitative experimental research method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data collection method used in this research was observation, pretest and posttest questions, and documentation. Besides that, data analysis in this study used the normality test and paired samples t-test. The sample taken in this research was class XI.1 of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo, totaling 34 students. From the results of research on increasing students' vocabulary through test questions, the pre-test average was 63.97 and the post-test average was 86.47. The calculated results of the paired samples t-test sig (2-tailed)<Research Alpha (0.000*<0.05), show the effectiveness of the Mondly Arabic application in improving students' vocabulary listening skills. This proves the significant effectiveness of using the Mondly Arabic application to improve students' Arabic vocabulary listening skills.

Abstract

Analysis of the management and administration of education based on PP. 17 of 2010, that the management and administration of education is an inseparable part of the 8 national education standards as a benchmark for the quality of education implementation. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with data collection techniques by interviewing 3 education managers or administrators. The results found are as follows: 1) evaluate the management and implementation of education, there needs to be an increase in the competency of education personnel and education staff in each education unit so that education quality is achieved. 2) implementation of education management and administration requires good collaboration between education units and stakeholders such as parents, non-educational institutions or education practitioners to improve the quality of education management and administration. 3) the relevance of education management that has been carried out based on Law no. 17 of 2010 that the relevance of existing education is running well, but there needs to be equal distribution of educational facilities and infrastructure and funding for education with a touch of educational technology as a means of learning. The conclusion from the analysis is that the evaluation, implementation and relevance of education management and administration are effective and efficient but need to be transparent in management.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of learning in elementary schools. Effective facilities and infrastructure are essential to create an effective learning environment and support student development. The study used observation, interviews, and documentation studies to collect data. Student motivation and learning outcomes improve in comfortable classrooms, ample learning opportunities, and a safe physical environment. The study also highlights the role of information and communication technology in improving the quality of education; High-speed internet access and adequate computing facilities allow students to access a wider and varied range of learning resources. This study will help to understand the importance of implementing facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to apply poster media to increase student’s understanding of science learning at SD Inpres Dhereisa Elementary School. The problem found by researchers was the lack of use of science learning media for student’s, which had an impact on student’s low learning outcomes. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The subjects in this research were 21 grade 5 student’s at SD Inpres Dhereisa. The data collection technique used was an observation sheet on student activities in science learning using posters on human respiratory system materials. The problem found by researchers was the lack of use of science learning media for student’s, which had an impact on student’s low learning outcomes. The results of the research show that there is an increase in student activity in learning science using posters. Student activities that experienced an increase were observing material on the respiratory system in humans using posters, which increased by 24%. Explaining activities increased by 38%, activities responding to and answering questions increased by 34%, activities doing group assignments increased by 28%, and activities presenting group assignments increased by 33% using poster media. Based on student’s activities using poster media, it is proven that poster media can increase student’s understanding of science material

Abstract

Making this innovative work aims to increase motivation and student learning outcomes in learning negative and positive integers by using Antique Arisan media (Manual and Electric Number Lines). This innovative work is the development of a number line media made using a board with an attractive appearance using green led lights on positive integers, red led lights on negative integers, each number is embossed for students with special needs, namely the blind and low vision. How to operate this media in two ways. (1) Use of this media by pressing the switch for each number to be addressed to complete simple number operations such as addition and subtraction of negative and positive integers. (2) Using a rail equipped with a toy that moves forward to show the addition of numbers, moves backwards for integer subtraction operations, this rail is installed under the number line which functions as a substitute for carrying out negative and positive integer operations using the number line, if the use of lights cannot be used because there is no power source. This use helps regular students and especially students with special needs in adding and subtracting negative and positive integers, so that students with special needs are served according to their needs and can solve problems encountered related to adding and subtracting integers, so that learning outcomes can increase.

Abstract

Mastering basic skills is the main capital for playing soccer, without ignoring physical and mental needs. Having basic skills will make it easier to play soccer either to score goals or teamwork. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the evaluation of soccer playing skills at SSB Bintang Garuda FC Aceh Besar. This research approach is qualitative with the type of evaluation. The population and sample of this study were 30 SSB Bintang Garuda FC Aceh Besar players with purposive sampling technique. This research data collection technique uses a basic soccer skills test instrument aged 10-12 years consisting of: dribbling test, short passed, throw in, running with the ball, heading the ball, and shooting at the ball. The results of the research obtained are the soccer playing skills of Bintang Garuda FC Aceh Besar as follows: 1) good category with a frequency of 18 players (60.00%), 2) medium category with a frequency of 11 players (36.67%), and 3) less category with a frequency of 1 player (3.33%).  The conclusion of the study is that the soccer playing skills of Bintang Garuda FC Aceh Besar are in the good category

Abstract

Language is a structured communication system with elements such as words, word sequences, and sentences. Arabic itself has a central role in the educational structure in Indonesia, especially as an integral part of religious education. This research aims to evaluate the effect of using Arabic Tower media on increasing the maharah kalam of grade 8 students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo. The research method used was an experiment with a Pretest Posttest Control Group design. The population used was grade 8 with 34 students as samples. Data was collected through observation, interviews and tests, then analyzed using SPSS version 19 software. The conclusion of this research is that there has been an increase in Maharah Kalam. Through hypothesis results with a Sig value. (2-Tailed) 0.000, in other words, Arabic Tower media is effective in increasing Maharah Kalam in class 8 students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo. The strengths and weaknesses of Arabic Tower media are also identified, providing insight into the potential and limitations of its use in Arabic language learning contexts.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of culture and work discipline on employee performance in state high schools throughout Solok Regency. This research uses a type of correlation research. The population in this study was all State High School Administration employees in Solok Regency, totaling 65 people. The research instruments used were work culture questionnaires, work discipline questionnaires and employee performance questionnaires. The data collection technique used was distributing questionnaires to respondents who were classified as research samples. The research used was a closed questionnaire. To analyze the data, researchers used analytical techniques by carrying out classical assumption tests as a prerequisite test, then carrying out simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that 1) work culture has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Administration employees by 72.8%, 2) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Administration employees by 72.7%, 3) culture and work discipline together -sama has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Administration employees by 78.1%. The conclusion from the research that has been conducted states that work culture and discipline have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Administrative employees in administrative management
