Abstract

Washing hands is easy to do, the government even invites residents to make their own hand washing stations. Utilization of plastic waste can be done easily and inexpensively. Plastic waste is an inevitable part nowadays, including in the Kuta Mandalika area. There was an increase in waste generation of 2,815 kg/day from 2016-2018 including plastic waste, proving that waste management has not been effective. Efforts to utilize waste into valuable goods need to be taught from an early age to increase awareness of the potential for plastic waste. What is the perspective of students in responding to plastic waste. To socialize the use of plastic waste into valuable goods and the use of clean water. The activity was carried out at the Nurul Ijtihad Al-Ma'arif NU Islamic Boarding School, Kuta Village, Central Lombok Regency, the method of implementing activities was in the form of preparation, implementation and finishing. Preparation in the form of coordination with related parties in preparing socialization activities. Furthermore, the implementation is in the form of making hand washing facilities from plastic waste. Hand washing facilities are designed to be attractive by utilizing plastic waste. Media for hand washing facilities installed the correct way of washing hands according to WHO (World Health Organization). The socialization that was carried out at the Nurul Ijtihad Al Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School, Kuta Village, Central Lombok Regency went smoothly. Prior to the socialization activity, 46% of students and female students knew that plastic waste could be a more valuable item. After the socialization, it increased to 55.67% knowing that plastic waste is a valuable item. As many as 98% of students and female students want to do one of the 4R principles (reuse, reduce, recycle, replace) and the rest don't want to do it. Most of the students understand the potential for valuable plastic waste in the form of a place for washing hands. Limited knowledge, skills, and difficulties in fighting laziness are the reasons students don't want to carry out 4R activities.

Abstract

The problem found is the high price of raw materials and homestay furniture. It's hard to get quality wood planks at low prices. On the other hand, public knowledge is still limited in finding products as substitute materials at low prices. So construction tends to use materials of poor quality, the important thing is that the price is affordable. So the life of buildings and furniture becomes shorter and is not good from an aesthetic point of view. Based on these problems, a solution is sought that refers to the priorities that have been set, namely the innovation of cheap panel/board products by utilizing waste (fly ash). The method adopted is to provide training to builders on how to make panels from geopolymer fly ash. Thus, the purpose of the community service program carried out by the LPPM Unram Community Service Team is to provide skills to carpenters in making boards/panels from geopolymer fly ash. The method used is to provide training. The training emphasizes the ability to hone participants' skills in choosing materials, mixing materials according to composition, and printing geopolymer paste into panels (boards). The training covers work procedures and stages of technology application. At the end of each activity, an evaluation is carried out so that it can be seen what the achievements and shortcomings are. Activities range from socialization, training preparation, and training implementation to implementation evaluation. As a result, after attending the training, the participants were able to make geopolymer panels (boards) made from fly ash and alkaline. add insight and knowledge and skills. This can be seen from the ability of the training participants (builders and hotel managers) based on the materials and examples provided during the training.

Abstract

Abstract

The world of fashion has recently developed rapidly with increasingly advanced technology. Automatic computer embroidery is becoming more popular due to its high degree of accuracy and faster speed than conventional embroidery. Indah Collection is an embroidery convection located in North Jakarta which is strategic because it is close to many companies and MSMEs in North Jakarta which have great potential in terms of fashion. This activity aims to add insight and enthusiasm to partners in terms of using automatic machine embroidery, which previously used conventional embroidery. The method used is to use photo objects from several photo sources taken directly at Indah Collection. This method was taken because the resulting photo is a photo during the automatic embroidery process at the Indah Collection convection. In a world of technology that is now very sophisticated and also faster in doing various things. The result obtained in making the product is the quality of the product itself. With good product quality, prospective buyers will be satisfied and will make repeat purchases. It can be concluded that automatic embroidery convection and automation technology can provide benefits and conveniences for the community, especially MSMEs in meeting fashion needs and increasing task efficiency, but still require the role of humans as an important resource in the process. The suggestion for the future is that Convection Indah Collection can make even more designs, so that many consumers will come. The Indah Collection embroidery convection machine is relatively new, but occasionally performs periodic maintenance so that the Indah Collection automatic embroidery machine can run properly and maintains durability so that the quality of the embroidery machine production will be maintained.
