Abstract

Learning media can originate from the utilization of plastic waste, which is an innovative step to enhance environmental awareness among students. This article outlines a community service activity conducted in Class VI B at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai, titled "Learning Media with Plastic Waste." The primary objective of this activity is to educate students about the importance of recycling and reusing plastic waste in their daily lives. The process begins with the collection of plastic waste around the school, followed by guidance that involves students in recycling that waste into teaching aids and environmentally friendly learning media. The active involvement of students not only teaches them recycling techniques but also cultivates their creative skills and teamwork. The results of this activity show an increase in student creativity and their understanding of important environmental issues. Feedback from teachers and students has been very positive, indicating that this learning method is considered innovative and beneficial. It is hoped that this activity can serve as a model for other schools in integrating environmental education into their curricula. By utilizing local resources such as plastic waste, schools can encourage students to be more active in preserving nature. This aligns with sustainable development goals, particularly in the fields of education and waste management, which are crucial for a better future.

Abstract

The transformation of student behavior in the contemporary era reflects the complexity of changes in the social structure of society, in line with the theoretical perspective of social anomie. This study explores the implementation of strategies for addressing student delinquency at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Allu by integrating the fields of educational sociology and progressive Islamic educational philosophy. The research adopts a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological-sociological approach over one academic semester, involving 45 participants, including school leadership, educators, counselors, parents, and students. Data collection processes integrate participatory observation techniques, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis, applying triangulation principles. The analytical framework is constructed by combining social bond theory and constructivist paradigms in education. The findings reveal four transformative strategies: (1) Development of a comprehensive character-building program that integrates progressive Islamic values with modern pedagogical approaches, (2) Implementation of a learning consequence system based on social behavior modification theory, (3) Strengthening classroom community groups as mechanisms for social control based on local wisdom, and (4) Revitalization of extracurricular activities aimed at fostering positive character dispositions. Evaluation indicates a 70% reduction in deviant behavior and an 85% increase in engagement in religious and learning activities. The contribution of this research lies in formulating an educational intervention model that harmonizes perspectives from educational sociology, progressive Islamic educational philosophy, and contemporary pedagogical innovations.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Genially-based learning media to support differentiated learning in the Independent Curriculum in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects for class V students at SDN Gunungkeling. The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes independent learning and is adapted to student needs, but its implementation has experienced obstacles, including a lack of supportive learning media. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Media that develops references in student and teacher books and is designed with an attractive visual appearance, equipped with audio, animated video and game-based evaluation to support interactive learning. The validation results show that this media is very suitable for use, with a score of 90% for media validation and 97% for material validation. The implementation of Genially-based media in the classroom resulted in a significant increase in student understanding, with an average pretest score of 63.00 and posttest 84.60. Statistical tests show that this media is effective in improving student learning outcomes, making it a useful tool to support differentiated learning in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Based on observations in Class 5C SD Labschool UNNES, researchers found several problems, namely the lack of understanding of students in recognizing various musical instruments, the lack of active participation of students in learning music, and the learning methods used by teachers are less communicative. This study aims to describe the application of learning to recognize various kinds of musical instruments with the PjBL model assisted by Flipbook Media in learning Music Art in grade V Elementary School. The focus of this research is: (1) Knowing the Kinds of Musical Instruments (2) Steps of the PjBL learning model (3) Flipbook. The approach in this research is qualitative research, while the object of research is Music Learning The subjects of this research are: (1) learning activities to recognize various kinds of musical instruments using the PjBL model assisted by Flipbook. (2) class V C students. (3) Class V C teachers. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, LKPD work, and making projects by students. Data processing was carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that students' learning understanding in recognizing various musical instruments using the PjBL learning model assisted by Flipbook increased. Based on these results, the use of the PjBL learning model assisted by Flipbook has an effect on understanding the kinds of musical instruments of grade V elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the opinions of Grade IV students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun Indramayu about the benefits of clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) to be used as evaluation material, especially learning about personal health and the environment. This is important in the context of students' lives in the present and future. This study uses a qualitative description approach; Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. To check the validity of the data, source tringulation is used, namely the integration of data from various sources. The results of the study show that the benefits of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) according to Grade IV Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun Indramayu 2024 are: (a) reducing the risk of developing diseases; (b) prevent them from infection and disease; (c) improvement of students' physical health; (d) supporting physical conditions to stay healthy; (e) support a more effective learning process; (f) form positive habits that they will carry into adulthood; especially the habit of maintaining personal and environmental cleanliness; and (g) increasing social awareness, namely by reminding friends to implement PHBS. Teachers' efforts to improve understanding and behavior of clean and healthy living for grade IV students of madrasah ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun through a holistic educational approach and practical activities made by teachers, namely grade IV students can understand and apply clean and healthy living behaviors well. This research aims to: 1. find out the rhetoric used by Prabowo Subianto in his 2024 Presidential Election debate speech; 2. Understand Prabowo Subianto's rhetoric in the 2024 Presidential Election compared to his rhetoric in the 2019 Presidential Election; 3. Find out the impact of Prabowo's use of rhetoric in the 2024 presidential election. This research method uses qualitative methods. The conclusions in this research are as follows. 1. The rhetoric used by Prabowo Subianto in his 2024 Presidential Election debate speech is: a strong persuasive style with empathetic and inclusive language, using repetition for emphasis, presenting concrete and relevant examples, and utilizing figurative language and analogies in a more structured sentence structure. 2. Prabowo Subianto's rhetoric in the 2024 Presidential Election compared to his rhetoric in the 2019 Presidential Election, namely: more mature and persuasive, with more empathetic and inclusive language. The argument is more organized, shows greater political maturity, and uses examples that are more relevant to the audience. 3. The impact of Prabowo's use of rhetoric in the 2024 presidential election on society, namely: being able to attract attention and build a positive and inclusive image. The vision and program are easier to understand, potentially increasing support, although there are still weaknesses in the use of hard evidence to support its claims.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran pendidikan pancasila diperlukan sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa, salah satu media yang dapat digunakan adalah media audio visual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas VI SD Inpres Minasa Upa 1 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas, jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Model Kurt lewin yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan dengan dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelas VI dengan jumlah 14 orang. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari empat tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dengan menerapkan media audio visual pada siswa kelas VI SD Inpres Minasa Upa 1 Makassar yang dilakukan selama 2 siklus dimana setiap siklusnya dilaksanakan dengan 2 pertemuan telah mengalami peningkatan dari pra siklus dengan nilai rata-rata 65,36, siklus I dan ke siklus II. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari siklus pertama, anak-anak belum memenuhi KKM 28,6%, dan di siklus kedua, 71,4% anak memenuhi KKM, tetapi 28,6% anak belum memenuhi KKM. Namun, setelah melakukan perbaikan pembelajaran, hasil belajar kognitif siswa meningkat, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil penelitian di setiap siklus. Di siklus kedua, anak-anak memenuhi KKM 92,9%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a big book learning media based on local folklore with the help of the Canva application, and to evaluate student responses and its feasibility. This big book is based on local legends, uses Indonesian, and presents relevant images to attract students' interest in learning. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, but only three stages are applied: Analysis, Design, and Development. At the analysis stage, pre-research was conducted at the UPTD SPF SDN Cibubukan, where interviews with grade I teachers revealed that learning Indonesian was less interesting for students. At the design stage, the researcher designed a big book using Canva, and at the development stage, the big book media was validated by material experts, media experts, and teachers. The validation results showed a feasibility score of 95% from material experts, 94% from media experts, and 95% from teachers, all of whom concluded that this media was very suitable for use in learning. The big book media developed can be applied as an initial step in the teaching and learning process, indicating that this folklore-based big book is very suitable for use in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan adanya fenomena yang terjadi pada siswa di MAN Kota Pariaman. Terindikasi beberapa siswa yang kesulitan menghadapi dan menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan guru dengan baik dikarenakan terindikasi mengalami prokrastinasi akademik serta terindikasi kurang mendapat dukungan dari orang tuanya dirumah dan terindikasi melakukan prokrastinasi atau menunda dalam mengerjakan tugas sekolahnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh dan signifikan dari variabel locus of control (X1) terhadap prokrastinasi akademik (Y) dengan diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,001< 0,05 dan tingkat persentase sebesar 11,4%. (2) terdapat pengaruh dan signifikan dari variabel dukungan orang tua (X2) terhadap prokrastinasi akademik (Y) dengan diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,015 < 0.05 dan tingkat persentase sebesar 6,3%. (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari locus of control (X1) dan dukungan orang tua (X2) secara bersama-sama terhadap prokrastinasi akademik dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan tingkat persentase sebesar 16,6%. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi konselor untuk dapat mengembangkan pendekatan atau model-model bimbingan dan konseling yang berkaitan dengan prokrastinasi akademik,locus of control dan dukungan orang tua.
