Abstract

Juvenile delinquency in the city of Banjarmasin is an increasingly worrying social phenomenon, especially with the emergence of trends such as the use of addictive substances and motorcycle gang violence. This trend illustrates the need for immediate intervention to prevent further escalation and maintain the safety of the school environment. Legal awareness education in schools is considered the right strategy to build positive character in adolescents, reduce deviant behavior, and strengthen their legal resilience. This community service study was carried out at SMPN 3 Banjarmasin by applying a socio-legal juridical approach in the form of a serial workshop. This program consists of four series that focus on the formation of harmonious, inclusive, independent, and superior characters through legal counselling delivered in the context of Madihin, a traditional art of South Kalimantan. Spoken Media is an interactive approach used to integrate local cultural values in learning, including the values of tolerance, non-violence, and gender equality. Program evaluation is carried out through pre-tests and post-tests using questionnaires to measure the improvement of student's legal knowledge, understanding, attitudes, and behavior

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the quality of animal health service management at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) Animal Health Center of Seruyan Regency using the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) management approach. Conducted from June 1 to September 1, 2024, this study employs a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. Data were collected through literature reviews, direct observations, and interviews with staff and management involved in the service delivery process. The findings reveal that the service planning at the UPTD Animal Health Center and Veterinary Public Health has not effectively engaged farmers, which has resulted in a disconnect between the programs offered and the actual needs of the farming community. Although the internal organization of the center is assessed as practical, the accessibility of services for farmers residing in remote areas remains a significant concern that requires attention. The execution of veterinary health services showcases the competence and skills of health workers. However, there are notable deficiencies in communication and the availability of information that hinder effective service delivery. Furthermore, the existing control system does not adequately accommodate user feedback, highlighting an urgent need for enhanced communication channels. Overall, this research aims to provide actionable recommendations to improve the quality of veterinary health services in Seruyan Regency, ultimately fostering a more responsive and user-centered service environment. The insights gained from this study will contribute to the ongoing efforts to align veterinary health services with the community's needs, ensuring better health outcomes for livestock and the farming population.

The choice of orangutan food is determined by comparing it based on literature regarding orangutan food. The research identified 67 types of vegetation belonging to 44 families. At tree level there are 20 types of vegetation, with Shorea teysmanniana Dyer being the most important with an Importance Value Index of 78.06%. At pole level there are 32 species, with Combretocarpus rotundatus Miq. has the highest Important Value Index of 74.43%. Genting Tanah village forest also has 40 species of saplings and 41 species of undergrowth. Mallotus muticus Mull. has the highest Importance Value Index of 55.78% in the sapling group, while Hypolytrum nemorum Vahl has the highest Importance Value Index of 21.24% in the seedling and undergrowth group. The species diversity index at the seedling level of 3.24 is considered high, while the species richness index is low at the tree level and moderate at the pole level. Based on the 67 species identified, there are 34 species that have the potential to be a source of orangutan’s food.

Abstract

Clean water is used daily for drinking, sanitation, and other activities that support human life. Clean water has requirements in terms of quality and quantity. Clean water requirements include physical, chemical, and biological parameters with specific threshold values so that, it will not cause side effects when consumed. The quantity of clean water provided can be seen from the amount of raw water available to meet regional needs. This study aims to determine the potential for a clean water supply in the Bira Beach Tourism Area of Bulukumba. The alternatives include boreholes, Regional Drinking Water Company, rainwater harvesting, domestic wastewater reuse, and seawater desalination. The method used in this research is Break Event Point (BEP) to determine the economic price of each alternative water supply and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to choose the most suitable alternative to be used by calculating six criteria, namely quality, quantity, continuity, ecology, and technology. The results of this study indicate that the lowest BEP value is a borehole at IDR 302, then Regional Drinking Water Company at IDR 2,500, seawater desalination at IDR 4,022, domestic wastewater reuse at IDR 6,300 and rainwater harvesting at IDR 16,834, and the results of research using the AHP method rainwater harvesting and wastewater reuse get the highest value of 108.52 and 69.04 respectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price perception and service quality on Customer satisfaction with the Maxim online transportation application in Depok City. With the rapid growth of online transportation in the Jabodetabek area, particularly in Depok, Maxim has become one of the preferred service providers due to its competitive pricing and numerous promotions. Based on previous research, factors such as service quality, price, and employee service have been shown to positively affect customer satisfaction. In the increasingly competitive online transportation industry, Customer satisfaction is a crucial factor for success. This study focuses on Maxim Customers in Depok, who are identified by their yellow helmets and jackets. According to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Depok City in 2020, the city has a population of over 2 million, but there is still limited research on Customer perceptions of Maxim's services in this area. This research uses a quantitative method with a purposive sampling approach, targeting male and female respondents aged 17 to 30 who have used Maxim’s services at least three times, with a sample of 100 respondents, and using the SmartPLS version 4 program. The results indicate that price perception has a positive and significant effect on Customer satisfaction, with a P-value of 0.001 < 0.05 and a path coefficient of 0.324 or 32.4%. Additionally, service quality is also proven to significantly influence Customer satisfaction, with a P-value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a path coefficient of 0.590 or 59%. These findings indicate that both variables—price perception and service quality—play important roles in determining the satisfaction level of Maxim Customers in Depok City. Therefore, online transportation companies are expected to continuously improve service quality and maintain competitive pricing to ensure customer satisfaction amid fierce competition.
