Abstract

Taro Village is located in Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency, which has quite a lot of natural potential that is in demand by tourists and has developed rapidly since it was designated as a Tourism Village in 2017. Taro Tourism Village can be said to be a tourism village that has implemented sustainable tourism. This can be seen from its implementation which tends to emphasize the sustainability aspect. However, the management of the natural potential of Taro Village leaves various gaps of opportunity that have not been utilized by the community, reflected in the absence of typical products of Taro Tourism Village. In carrying out community service activities, namely empowerment targeting the Taro Village Women Farmers Group and MSMEs through the utilization of the natural potential of Taro Village. Collaborative governance practices are carried out by involving three actors, namely the government, the community and the private sector. First, collaboration involving the government through the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) Sarwada Amertha. Second, the role of the community as a group that is empowered so that they can produce a valuable product and can support sustainable tourism in Taro Tourism Village. We involve the private sector by visiting industries engaged in tourism, such as lodging and resorts that have the potential for us to collaborate with.

Abstract

. The fundamental problems in this Community Service activity are (1) the teacher's ability to utilize technology as a learning medium. (2) Teachers tend not to use technology in designing learning media. The method used in implementing PKM is the empowerment model. This activity aims to assist the teachers to design interactive technology based learning media. This model is implemented using the following steps: 1) Observations are carried out to obtain joint agreement regarding the mechanism for mentoring activities. 2) holding a workshop which aims to explain and provide general knowledge regarding learning media and the Canva application. 3) The pretest is carried out to obtain comparative scores before mentoring and after mentoring. 4) Assistance in creating learning media using Canva. 4) The post test was carried out to see the teacher's skills and achievements in creating learning media using Canva. The scores obtained in the two tests created were analyzed statistically using the JAPS application. The scores between the two tests are different from each other. The median value of the pre-test results received a score of 55.0 which is categorized as "Low". Meanwhile, the median value from the post-test results received a score of 80.0 and was categorized as "Good". From these results, it can be concluded that the highest median value was obtained by the post-test value. Apart from that, the mean score obtained by students also varies based on each test given. From the pre-test score obtained by students received a score of 55.33 which is categorized as a "Low" score. Meanwhile, the post-test score obtained was 77.77 which was categorized as "Good". From these results, it can be concluded that the mean post-test score was higher than the pre-test score. It means that the teachers are able to use Canva in designing their learning media.

Abstract

Pasir Angling Village has tourism potential that can be developed as an agro-tourism destination in West Java, especially in the Lembang area. However, many tourist attractions in this village have not been managed optimally so they have not attracted many tourists. This Community Service Program aims to analyze and identify the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) of each tourism potential in Pasir Angling Village, as well as formulate effective suggestions and recommendations to overcome weaknesses and threats in the context of revitalizing the Agroedutourism Village. Data collection methods include interviews, discussions, filling out questionnaires, and direct observation at each tourist attraction in Pasir Angling Village. Observation results show several potential tourist attractions in Kampung Pasir Angling, including Curug Luhur Cibodas, Jaipongan and Pencak Silat Cultural Tourism, Sheep Farming and Cow Milking Tourism, Strawberry Picking Agrotourism, Bincarung Campground Park, as well as community MSMEs for souvenirs tourists such as Angling Caramel Candy, Angling Banana Sale, Lemon Slice, and Angling Coffee. After carrying out a SWOT analysis, it was found that this village has strengths and opportunities such as adequate tourist capacity, many tourist destinations, and the availability of clean water. Pasir Angling Village only needs more intense and focused development and management so that its tourist value becomes higher quality in the eyes of tourists. However, there are several weaknesses and threats that need to be corrected, such as less strategic location, lack of public transportation, lack of labor, lack of directional facilities, and competition with other tourist locations in the local area. This program is expected to increase public awareness of existing tourism potential, the importance of maintaining this potential, and promoting it to the general public.

Abstract

Introducing songs to children can hone their sensitivity, literacy skills, and language diversity. Introducing children's songs through their creation based on local wisdom can also be a form of preservation of their culture. The PKM objective of this training program is for elementary school teachers in Sukadana, North Kayong, to have basic skills in making children's songs based on the identity and characteristics of the region. The training methods used are lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations, practices, simulations, and reflections. The results of the PKM children's song creation training program are that there are approximately 15 elementary school teachers who are enthusiastic about making children's songs with the rules and musical elements that have been taught. In addition, various themes of children's songs based on local wisdom have been explicitly and implicitly written in song lyrics for the 2–5 grade range.

Abstract

The earthquake that occurred in Cianjur in November 2022 had an impact on all aspects. As a result of the accompanying team's observations and interviews with the children and those closest to them, it was found that the earthquake had an impact on the children's psychological condition. Among other things, they lose the fun and enjoyment of playing with their peers. They experience anxiety and fear and lack self-confidence. Childhood is a golden period in a series of developmental stages. During this period, almost all children's potential experiences rapid growth. This period is important because during this period various physical and psychological aspects develop. Considering this, in community service activities, one of the activities carried out is providing intervention for earthquake survivor children in the form of play therapy as a form of social support so that children can escape psychological trauma and return to age-appropriate developmental stages, such as being able to feel the fun of playing with his friends and exploring. After the intervention was carried out and re-observed, there were visible changes in the behavior shown by the children while playing. Those who were initially quiet, unhappy, and always wanted to be near their mother became active, laughed, and no longer worried after participating in play therapy activities.

Abstract

Ikatan Remaja Masjid Suci (IRMAS) has a variety of social movements of productive and positive activities that should be published in order to be an inspiration and motivation for its neighbors or a large audience. The problem faced by Ikatan Remaja Masjid Suci (IRMAS) is the limitation in using digital media effectively to spread messages of social movements. The limited knowledge and skills in creating interesting content as well as appropriate publication strategies have hampered community efforts to disseminate social movement activities in reaching a wider target audience and affecting the growth of positive movements in society. The aim of this support program is to enhance the capacity and skills of community members in creating, managing and generating effective content on social media platforms especially social media instagram. The implementation method is three-stage: the first stage is conducting community surveys, the second is applying for permits and the third stage is implementation and support. The result of the accompanying program is the formation of a team of graphic designers, videographers, content writers and social media specialists, through a team that has been formed, the accompanying program has produced output of work on social media instagram Ikatan Remaja Masjid Suci reviewed from the activities during the accompaniment, the activities are going according to the expected plan, so that the accompanying program has a long-term impact the community must prepare cadres to continue the creation of content and publication of the community social movement.

Abstract

Marriage is a covenant that legitimizes the interaction between men and women who are not mahrams, thereby establishing rights and obligations between them. Marriage will be a harmonious, loving, and compassionate family, namely a peaceful, loving, and caring family. This will be achieved if the prospective spouses have knowledge in planning a quality family and possess skills in managing the family. However, the reality is that many married couples are unable to maintain their households or experience divorce between husband and wife. This is because they lack the knowledge to plan a quality family and the skills to manage it. The purpose of premarital marriage guidance activities for prospective brides and grooms at the Office of Religious Affairs in the Kuranji District of Padang City is to guide prospective brides and grooms so that they have knowledge in planning a quality family and possess skills in managing a harmonious, loving, and compassionate family. The methods used in premarital marriage guidance activities for prospective brides and grooms include discussion, question and answer sessions, and visualization of the beauty and challenges of married life. The result of premarital marriage guidance activities for brides-to-be is that every candidate who will marry has knowledge in planning a quality family and has skills in managing the family so that sakinah-mawaddah-wa-rahmah hospitality is realized.

Abstract

This PKM activity aims to resolve existing problems with partners in order to support the efforts of the limited capacity group (KKG) of Masyitoh Al-Iman Kindergarten, Sewon, Bantul in preparing the digitization of bilingual-based teaching materials using online applications, so that the Bachelorwiyata Tamansiswa University collaborates with (KKG) Masyitoh Al-Iman Kindergarten to hold training for Kindergarten Teachers in preparing the digitization of bilingual-based teaching materials using online applications. This PKM activity aims to develop the competence of Kindergarten Teachers in compiling digitized bilingual-based teaching materials using online applications. The solution and method in this PKM program is to provide assistance and skills training to kindergarten teachers in Bantul district according to partner conditions so that partners will be able to have kindergarten teachers who are competent in preparing the digitization of bilingual-based teaching materials using online applications. The results of this activity were that the activity ran smoothly, the participants gained quite a lot of benefits, including gaining additional knowledge regarding good learning tools, as material for self-introspection to correct previously prepared learning tools, teachers were able to practice directly in compiling digitalized teaching materials billing based using online applications.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia plays a crucial role in shaping children’s character and skills, and numeracy literacy is an important aspect in this process. A workshop on creating mathematical picture story books for teachers at Fatma Kenanga Elementary School was held to provide solutions to the challenges of creating an engaging literate learning environment. Mathematical picture story books are recognized as an effective tool for developing numeracy literacy skills and stimulating children’s critical thinking skills. However, the difficulty teachers have in finding mathematical picture story books that meet the criteria of the reading level motivated the holding of this workshop. The workshop aimed to provide understanding and skills to teachers at Fatma Kenanga Elementary School in creating mathematical picture story books that meet the needs of children. Through the PAR method, this workshop provided practical and creative guidance for teachers. The results showed an increase in teacher creativity in designing stories, applying simple illustration techniques, and integrating moral values into picture stories and producing mathematical picture story books. Although the workshop provided a strong foundation, some teachers felt the need for further development. Recommendations for follow-up include additional workshops, individual coaching, and online resources to continue improving teacher skills. In conclusion, this workshop made a positive contribution in supporting teachers of Fatma Kenanga Elementary School in creating a positive and engaging literacy learning environment.

Abstract

Arabic language teaching in schools is still considered boring, parents' dissatisfaction with students' Arabic language skills is caused by inappropriate teaching methods. This activity aims to introduce the Fun Learning Arabic teaching method to the students of Nurul Huda Tasikmalaya Islamic boarding school. The method used in this activity is the grounded theory method. SDA conducted field observations to identify the problems of teaching methods in Nurul Huda boarding school and offered solutions by discussing the fun learning method programme. The delivery of the fun learning method teaching was carried out with a seminar or talk show model with the audience of Nurul Huda boarding school students. The results of this activity explain that the fun learning method is a solution to boring learning. In practice, there are several models of fun learning methods that can be applied in teaching Arabic, namely the hikayat (storytelling) model, ghina (singing), and takhminul lughah (guessing). The hikayat (storytelling) model in the fun learning method can be applied in teaching Arabic for maharah istima, the ghina (singing) model can be applied in teaching Arabic to memorise mufradat, and the Takhminul lughah (guessing) model can be applied in teaching Arabic for maharatul qiraah and istima'.
